First time coming here. Big portions & great price. But what stood out to me is the service. The service was amazing , kind workers & clean establishment. fast & friendly. Food was delivered right to our table. The sweet tea was amazing. Not like most places i’ve gone to, where it taste old and like they didnt clean the machine/container. Small 15-20 min drive from my house but id definitely come back again. Thanks so all the staff for making it a great experience for my mom & i !

My wife and I had lunch here today. Having been a restaurant manager for many years I am usually disappointed with casual dining experiences these days. Today was a major exception. The young lady taking our order, I believe her name is Aramia, was incredible. She quickly pointed out the Specials and the best way to place my order so I got all specific items I wanted in the most cost effective way. Before long she arrived at our table with our food. I observed that on her way back to the counter. She dropped off another diners order. Picked up empty trays from another table, answered another customers question and was assisting a new customer placing their order. All in what seemed like seconds. Did I mention the food was delicious? I should add this was the first time I ever sought out a fast food worker to leave a tip. Normally it annoys me when fast food establishes suggest a tip for simply taking an order at a counter. Very friendly, but in a very natural way. Nothing phony about it. Keep up the great work!

I love Captain D's Lemon Peppered White Fish! They also have great Mac n' cheese, coleslaw, hush puppies, & pecan pie. The food is always fresh and the service is always great!

Clean store, frindly staff quick service Food was hot n fresh, crispy from out site tender from inside. I got spicy fried fish n shrimp meal it come with 2 sides Corns were well prepaired.

First time here. Very clean place! We got the fish & shrimp plate and the sampler. It was very good. Only thing I would add is more buttery green beans and more tangy sweet tarter sauce they were still good tho. We totally loved the chewable ice omg.. free refill while eating in. I took a full cup to go lol. The service was great miss k made us feel welcomed. She is very kind. Miya brought our food and made sure we have everything we needed before she left the table. Great service, food and clean place.

I’ve had some surprisingly good seafood here and the prices were reasonable. The fish I ordered seemed unremarkable, and wished I had ordered shrimp. I plan to go back.

Came today before 2. The gentleman that gave me my food was very nice. Everytime we come everyone is really nice. Food is always served hot and you can tell they change their oil often because it doesn't have that old taste. And other items are always fresh. It's clean inside unlike most restaurants today. We drive over 30+miles to come eat here. Love some Captain D's. 🐟🙂

I'm pretty sure I broke a back tooth on one of the pieces of catfish. It's obvious that 1 piece of catfish and the shrimp were cooked at the same time and are much older than the extra piece of fish I ordered. I am not real impressed with the quality of food this store served. I'm posting a picture and post it because of the color difference is obvious.

So I went in today with my Sister and saw this sign on the door. I was respectful of the fact that they were short staffed, so I didn’t complain about how long it took to get 2 plates of fish. (20 minutes with no lines) But when I started eating my green beans, and the plastic that you see a picture of was hanging in my mouth, THAT was a problem! They left a piece of plastic in the green beans that’s I actually had in my mouth! How disgusting and unsanitary! I was offered another side of green beans, but politely denied, as they would be coming from the exact same pot/pan that had this plastic in it! And the soda was all carbonated. No matter which flavor I tried. I can be patient due to a staff shortage, but if you’re going to take 20 minutes to bring my food at Captain D’s, at least make sure there’s no debris in it, and have someone maintain the soda fountain. Respectfully.

They changed fish which now taste like dry chicken. Place is frequently occupied by homeless which the staff has to chase away. Not safe to sit and eat.

Visited this location in Garland,Tx and the cook gave out old chicken and some what warm fries got all the way home and realized my chicken was old called manager Alice who said they would only replace my chicken so out of courtesy why not replace the whole order especially when people have to drive all the way back cause the cook failed to cook it fresh will not be visiting here again

I have always loved the fish here but now it is so dry and tasteless .. it tastes like chicken.. I thought it was chicken and let them know and the pregnant woman was so rude about it instead of letting me know it's fish first thing that cane out her mouth was " I'm not giving you a refund because you ate it" How else am I suppose to taste it. But no.. I took 2 bites and it was so dry. That is not the fish I have always gotten before.
