We haven't been in a while. The owner greated us, very clean, music, authentic ambiance. Booth was big. Free chips, hot sauce and heated pured brown been dip. The food was delicious, large portions, really good lunch menu pricing. Clean bathrooms. The waitress was very attentive. The Owner came by our table to ask us how our food was. Did I say the food was delicious! For real, highly recommended Tex-Mex.

🌮 Kristina’s in Garland – A Hidden Gem for Brisket Lovers! I recently stopped by Kristina’s in Garland and was genuinely impressed. Their brisket tacos were absolutely delicious—perfectly seasoned, tender, and packed with flavor. You can tell they take pride in their food. The customer service was top-notch. Friendly staff made the experience even better, and the welcoming environment added to the charm. Whether you’re dining in or grabbing a quick bite, the vibe is relaxed and inviting. One of the best parts? Speedy service. I didn’t have to wait long at all, which is always a plus when you’re hungry and craving something good. If you’re in the area and looking for a satisfying meal with great service, Kristina’s is definitely worth a visit!

Pros: Refried beans have delightful extra flavor in them, maybe beef, soooo good. Plates are HUGE even for a Mexican place. Ground beef is very very good here. Cons: Music considerably too loud. No Non Alcoholic beer offered.

Awesome place! The Wait was much less than told and even got us in a booth like we requested. Immediately greeted ....... Got beverages and chips and salsa within 60 seconds...... Salsa flavor and consistency is exactly how we like it........ Appetizer came out fast which was great since we were starving. Their fautitas are the best we've had. Have enjoyed Christina's farewell numerous times. Always excellent service. The food is outstanding with excellent flavors. Serving sizes are large. Never had a bad plate here.

Service was friendly, but kind of slow. Waited a very long time for chips and sauce to be served. The tamales and enchilada plates were excellent. Definitely recommend!

9/13/2024: Cristina's has changed their recipe for refried beans to include adding onions which is the only food source which causes a severe allergic reaction for me. I spoke a length with management and they do not offer the beans without onions. Not being able to digest the beans are non-starter for my fajita meal. I will have to say goodbye to one of my favorite dining places. I still highly recommend Cristina's for anyone who does not have an onion food allergy... Nothing else has changed that I can tell. 6/2/2023: All reviews begin with five stars. During the review process the service(s) and circumstance(s) maintain or lower the rating. After having repetitive issues with another Tex-Mex restaurant in our area we decided to try Cristina's. The food was well prepared and delicious. They are aware and ensure my orders are prepared in accordance with my food allergy. The prices are economical and the staff is pleasant and professional. They also offer a military discount. I fully commit to the 5 star rating.

Great place! Service was Amazing! Had fish tacos& flautitos off the appetizer menu. All was very flavorful & healthy portions.the location was in the fire wheel area. Highly recommended!!!!’ Oh don’t forget the frozen Margarita!

The micheladas were good. I love their salsa. We liked the shrimp cocktail. I had the La Gran Parrillada de Guadalajara. I liked it. I really thought the display to keep the food warm was really cool but I think the fire was a little strong so it kept cooking the food. I think my second fajita was overcooked. Haytham loved the tamales and the service was great!

People are nice. Food is what it is at all Christina's. 3 star rating is for the blaring religious music always playing. Do I come back? Yes. So I guess I see their point.

I am not the one to bring a restaurant down with a bad review but i definetely felt like i had to after my visit today. I ordered la parillada expecting fresh sizzling fajitas but was completely dissapointed when my plate was served. The fajitas were COLD and did not seem fresh at all. Seemed like reheated fajitas and the rice was also cold like it had not been put in the microwave for enough time. The only thing that seemed fresh on my plate were the shrimp and tortillas. Ontop of that the waiter seemed to have an attitude and in a rush when i was ordering. I was hoping to find my new favorite mexican restaurant but i will definitely not be coming back.

I was disappointed in our visit. There was prior notification of a party of 30 people yet you provided only 1 server. Like seriously ? The server seemed irritated to serve us. It took forever to get our drink orders , to place food orders and over 30-45 minutes to receive the food orders back. Yes, I was timing it. Several were incorrect to include the to go order for 1 guest. Had our server been more diligent on checking on her guest she would have found out several of us were military. Her reaction to having to redo the tickets were noted and the "demand" to see said ID was the icing for me. You may have a decent restaurant and food but you will never see my business again.; first and last visit for a few of us. Mind you, 1/3 of your guest were from out of town. Every veteran in the group didn't appreciate her attitude. Do better.....Oh, and not once did the manager come over to greet us but did others tables. PLEASE know that we will let others know how unwelcome we felt.

We've been dinning here for years and we just experienced the worst Mexican food ever. No seasoning, no taste, the chimicanga was a floured tortilla. Worst ever. I cant see us ever returning. The enchiladas were the worst. We don't feel good leaving this type of review but someone needs to know what's going on.
