Excellent Tex-Mex, especially for dinner. Brunch is only so-so. We really enjoy their lakefront deck; in early summer it's mostly in the shade during early evening hours and very pleasant. Highly recommend the Tacos Al Pastor if you like spicy food. If not, order them without the diced jalapeño.
We had our 30th class reunion here the other night. They have a great patio upstairs that overlooks the lake. Working with the manager on set up and reserving the space was painless and so easy! We had a fajita buffet that everyone really enjoyed! They also had a bartender and small bar set up there so we didn't have to walk down the main bar unless we wanted something different. It was a great night and Primos was a great place for it!
Come and see for yourself! I’m here on a taco Tuesday around 4 pm and it’s very calm. The water view is peaceful, the food was delicious, and the service was great! I ordered a sweet tea with mango simple syrup, and the birria taco plate! It was so hot that I could barely touch it. I literally had to let it cool off! It was almost like my server could read my mind. Didn’t have to ask for a refill, didn’t have to ask for a togo box, she brought it out right in time. This is the type of service I’m talking about. My and my family went here a time before this and also had a great experience. I will be back!
We had a party of 40... they were fantastic!!! Food came out together and hot! Everything was delicious and they were bery attentive
Awesome food and very Awesome view of the lake. Love looking out over the water. Very peaceful! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Maria is the best bartender I've ever met in my life!
We hosted an event last night at Primo’s Tex-Mex Grill, and they absolutely knocked it out of the park! From the setup to the service, everything was top-notch. A special shoutout to Michelle and Jose, who went above and beyond to make sure every detail was handled and our guests were well taken care of throughout the evening. The taco bar was phenomenal — fresh, flavorful, and a big hit with everyone who attended! The staff was attentive, the atmosphere was perfect, and we couldn’t have asked for a better venue to bring our group together. Highly recommend Primo’s for any event or gathering — they truly made it a success. 🌮👏
Primos Tex-Mex Grill never disappoints—hot, flavorful food and top-notch service every time. Ray, the GM, and his team make you feel right at home. Their Happy Hour specials are unbeatable, and the lake view from the patio is the best around. It’s the Tex-Mex Cheers! My family and I have been loyal customers for over 20 years. Tommy.Z
Catfish dinner was excellent! We was looking for catfish but didn't see any close so we thought we had settled for something spicy and to our surprise they had catfish on the menu so we gave it a try,and it did not disappoint! Fries and sauces was really good too. Service was fast and friendly.
Great place and great vibes. Miss Maria always a great bartender. So nice
I give the food a Chef's Kiss 💋 and service was the best 👌 I loved sitting on the patio overlooking the water. Definitely will be going again
Absolutely love Primo’s. I’ve been a few times now, and every visit has been consistently solid. The atmosphere is super chill—right by the lake—so there’s a great view. The brisket enchiladas are hands-down my favorite, and their chips and salsa are amazing. Service is fast and friendly, and the staff actually seem like they enjoy being there, which makes a difference. Primo’s has definitely become one of my go-to spots. 5 stars, no doubt.
We were seated on the indoor patio. Close enough you could see the beautiful lake yet indoors so the birds couldn't enjoy our food. They were busy for a Saturday but still managed to get a seat with no wait time. Mangonadas were absolutely amazing. The service was top tier. Michelle was attentive friendly and stayed on top of things. I will definitely go back.
Great place! Quick, friendly service, DELICIOUS and filling food. The guy singing had a musical grab bag he'd encourage the kids on the patio to interact with the band (please tell me he's a music teacher - if not, he should be). We had the Grilled Stuffed Jalapeños, I had the Shrimp Ceviche, and my husband had the tamales (not pictured). It was SO GOOD. Very generous portions.
We love having a quiet lunch here on the patio when the weather is nice. Sitting out by the lake with a margarita and chips and salsa. I highly recommend the Chicken Baja and a side of fresh tortillas.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at this fantastic restaurant and I must say, it was an absolute delight! From the moment I walked in, the friendly and attentive staff made me feel right at home. The customer service was exceptional - they went above and beyond to ensure that our dining experience was nothing short of amazing. The food was simply outstanding - every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and expertly prepared. The diverse menu offered a variety of options to suit all tastes, and each plate was a true culinary masterpiece. The patio view was absolutely breathtaking! And let's not forget about the drink prices - incredibly reasonable for such high-quality beverages. Whether you're in the mood for a refreshing cocktail or a draft beer, you won't be disappointed by the fantastic selection and affordability. Overall, this restaurant exceeded all of my expectations and I can't wait to visit again. If you're looking for a place with top-notch customer service, amazing food, and fantastic drink prices, look no further - this is the perfect spot for a memorable dining experience. Highly recommend!
decided to try this place out today with my husband and it was better than expected. I ordered Tacos Al Pastor with pineapple pico de gallo, squeezed some lime on top and it was perfect! The tomatillo sauce that came with it was spicy but very tasty. also, the chips and salsa are awesome!
This is my go to spot for lunch with my best friend. The food is always hot and delicious. The drinks are amazing. The waitstaff friendly, attentive and just fun to be around.
Incredible experience. It was too hot to sit outside on the patio, but got the next best seat - right by the glass facing the bay. I was able to enjoy the view and even watch a sailboat go by as I ate my Chicken Tampico - loaded with roasted veggies and Mexican corn. It was outstanding and I left feeling full.
Gage is simply the best bartender ever! I could say more but don't need to. Just go and ask for him you will see.
Got the promos nachos with fajita chicken. There were 5 big nachos on the plate- a whole corn tortilla per nacho. Beans, cheese, and meat. Grilled onion and pepper, jalapeno, sour cream, guacamole, tomato, and lettuce all on the side (for me). Very tasty! Came out hot and fresh from the kitchen. Not very busy even with the football games on. Bar area in back closest to the water was pretty full. Love to look out and see the lake.
Everytime I dine at Primo's, it's a great experience! They also have a patio with a DJ and good music where you can dance on some weekends.
Concerned based on reviews, but we will be back. Saturday at lunch was $5 margaritas that was delicious. The chips were warm and the salsa was amazing. Ross was our server and was on point with service and delivery. Great views of the lake and food was great.
Primos is such a vibe! We booked our end-of-year company party with them and great time was had by all! Their staff is professional and responsive. Food was very delicious and fresh. Additionally, you can’t beat the atmosphere/location, right on the water! We will definitely be back!
Had a great Dinner, I was torn between getting the spicy shrimp or the shrimp Fajitas, I went with the spicy shrimp and am so glad I did, the flavor was amazing, had a kick to it that was perfect. I will definitely get it again next time I go. The chips and salsa were fantastic. I didn't notice the view of the lake from the bar until we were leaving but next time we're in town we're definitely visiting Primos and will make sure we get a view.
Primos is Primo! Seems the Margarita has changed but the food was good. The view of the pier was broken and had cones like ….. IDK what… it’s a hazard I’m sure but currently the Sapphire Bay water construction can’t help any. I hope Primos stays around for a while.
Great little hidden gem in Rowlett. Looking for a night out before the storm 😏and came across this place. It's a different tex mex atmosphere but it will grow on you.
The food was amazing! The customer service was also amazing. They did everything right. They handle my drinks and food pleasantly. I had no problem at all. Also the atmosphere was so great the lighting with the lake just adds up! I would recommend highly.
Amazing views over the lake. Good food. Nice music. Mary Ann served us well. She was extremely kind and polite. Live music in summer for the weekend. We’ll be back !
Tasty food and good service. The view is very nice but it can be pretty windy outside. Indoors is better but the music is all over the place with genre. I enjoyed the salsa and chips. They are lighter and thinner than others I've tried. The tacos primo were very nice. Definitely add a third or fourth for a buck.
Our very first time at Primo's Tex-mex Grille and let me tell you I have never been anywhere with such nice staff. Our waitress was very attentive and never had to even as for refills. She was awesome! The food was hot and exquisite! It was windy however Our view was beautiful as we sat outside and had a good view of the lake. It's well worth the money for the excellent service and food quality. Will definitely be back!
We went for My Husband's Birthday and the Food was delicious. Atmosphere was fun, especially outside by the lake, just cold so we went inside. Our Server was very friendly and attentive. I had my first Piña Colada on the Rocks and it was so good. Their deserts were also very good, Flan and Chocolate Cake with Ice Cream. I will go back.
had the best service from bartender GAGE!! he was extremely welcoming and made the experience amazing. His drinks were great and even made fun shooters for my friend and I. I enjoyed the enchiladas and my friend had a brisket quesadilla that she loved! will be back. Sit at the bar with Gage!! you won’t regret it
Love the location on the water. When the weather is good, sitting on the back deck with a view of the lake is amazing. Best brisket tacos I've had ever. Bursting with flavor. Prices are slightly on the high side, but I guess not much different from other places. Service was excellent. A little slow, but it was a very busy Friday night so completely understandable.
Visited for the first time on a perfect Sunday evening shortly before sunset, sat outside on the patio with a good view of the lake. Ordered queso to start with, then we had the El Jefe combo, carne asada, two different cheeseburgers and the Lone Star combo. All of it was really good, with great flavors and not overly spicy. Nice, thick cheeseburgers. The salsa was perfect for adding any spicy you needed with a nice kick of heat and amazing taste. Their taco shells are fried in-house and are perfection. There was a rather loud fan just above us, but I turned it off because it wasn't doing anything but making noise and wasting electricity. Music level was great, super sweet waitress who came around just often enough to keep the refills going. As we ate, the sun went down and we got to watch the lights on the lake come out. Not sure what it would be like on a crowded Fri or Sat night, but this was one of the best dining experiences we've had in quite some time - just about perfect in every regard.
My bestie and I visited here on a Saturday - July 12th around 4pm for a very late lunch. They had a pretty good crowd setting up on the inside, looked like a big birthday party was happening soon! We chose to sit out on the patio, hoping to find a good table so we could enjoy Lake Ray Hubbard and weren't disappointed. We sat right next to the railing and enjoyed the view while we chatted away, catching up on things. Our server, Ross was polite, friendly & punctual, no complaints there. We both ordered the shrimp al Mesquite $25, with sodas and a side of guacamole. I would have loved an 'adult beverage', ha but I was going in to work. They have a full bar just inside and there were a few people there. The Shrimp Al Mesquite was so good! We're talking 6 large shrimp atop a cheese-topped bed of rice. The shrimp was very fresh and cooked perfectly and so was the rice. I opted for charro beans - so good. The chips and salsa were good. I usually try to skip them these days but I was hungry and they were fresh and crunchy! I can't wait to go back in the evening and really enjoy the ambiance. Like most patios, they do have birds looking for treats - just don't feed them and they'll leave you alone, lol.
Awesome Mexican food with great views of Lake Ray Hubbard. The food is wonderful, and I cannot recommend the fajita enchiladas enough—the chicken is good, but the steak is divine! All of this is made even better with the complimentary chips and endless salsa, and the service is also fantastic. Great food, good service, and lovely views of the Lake. Highly recommend!
While visiting family, I stayed in a hotel within walking distance to Primo’s. Upon entering the restaurant, I was immediately greeted by a very cheerful and helpful person. It was such a beautiful day, and I couldn’t decide if I wanted to dine inside the restaurant or outside by the water. Once I decided to dine inside, multiple servers passed by and offered salsa and chips. They never realized I kept declining them. But, I loved the fact they were attentive and definitely not ignored. I’m not a drinker, but because of the great specials, almost wished I were. I decided on the spinach quesadilla with chicken. It was awesome and the portion was enormous. Ended up with leftovers and placed a carryout for tortilla soup. It was delicious!! Would highly recommend this restaurant for multiple reasons. The quality of food, extensive menu options and especially the superb service from everyone. Especially, Maria who immediately greeted me at the door and the great service of my server, Ross.
Very nice Tex Mex restaurant by the lake. I've had the opportunity to take my wife's auntie's to the restaurant yesterday for her birthday and enjoy your meal and it was very very nice. The restaurant sits on a lake in which it has outdoor seating if you choose to sit outside and dine with a beautiful view of the lake and you see all the boats as they pass through some are fishing some just doing it recreationally. The food is magnificent and the menu is very large so you have a lot of things you can choose from and the food is superb. The waitresses were very nice and really helpful. I say overall I will give them one of the best ratings for a restaurant that I've been to in a long time. The most impressive thing is that the prices are very very reasonable for the dinners that are being served. I've been in places in which some of the same menu items were double the price so I was impressed with that as well as the food tasting very good. Primo's Tex-Mex Grille I will put on the top of my list for restaurants in Texas.
The food here is really very great. No other way to describe it. Everything was just spot on. The chips are fresh and crunchy, the home made hot sauce was good. A nice hot, hot sauce. It slowly builds up heat the more you eat. Why just 2 stars for athmosphere? They wanted everyone to sit on the back porch. Great view sure, but it was a hot day and the back porch while inside was too warm. Why not let us sit inside in the cool dark dining room? I was right by the door to the outside, and people insisted on sitting out there. God only knows why. It is August in Texas after all. Plus it was noisy. But the wait staff couldn’t have been nicer. Just oh so pleasant. Our waitress was superb in every way. Thank you! Not sure how busy this place gets at night, probably pretty actually. But for lunch it was nice. Taco Salad! Perfection in a fried tortilla bowl. Great proportions on each ingredient. Can’t say enough good things. Thanks again! Def will return

MaryAnn was great!! Lovely to talk to & drinks were superb! I come to primos frequently and love to chat with all the girls behind the bar!
Sunday FUNdays!! 15 dollar bottomless mimosas with 4-5 different flavors! And they have live music on the patio too! I had a great time!
All our food was good, and the service was excellent. But what really stood out was the massive size of the fried catfish fillets, AND they give you 3 of them! Look at my picture! Tasted great too. Only docking a star because we told them we wanted an inside seat, not a patio seat. And while we were technically inside, we were right next to the patio door, and waiters were constantly going in and out and even holding the door open while they chatted with coworkers, making it unbearably hot and humid. I was sweating.
Immaculate views of Lake Hubbard, and great service. The food is good as well but a bit pricey. My only complaint is the margarita. It was weak, and kind of bland. A mexican restaurant should serve a proper margarita, but this wasn't it. Otherwise, it's a great place for something like a date night, or even a casual get together with friends.
Great food. Good margarita. Nice view of the lake. Needs some updating. Looks a bit rough. Chairs outside all need repair.
We LOVE the catfish and service here! But be careful about going on Thu. night to sit outside. It's live music night and usually a good variety, but LOUD! All the customers are crowded to the left end of the patio to be far as possible from the speakers blaring Nikki Minaj right now (5/18/23). Ugh, it just got louder! Decided to add that the DJ was so very nice to everyone, including the dancing kids tonight, that it made up for the volume.
Stand alone mexican restaurant on the shores of lake Ray Hubbard. The outdoor patio gives a great overview of the lake. Menu consists of traditional mexican food. Wait staff was very helpful. Food was good but not great. Drinks were good. Overall the restaurant was good but not great. The view is worth the visit. Overall recommend.
Had a nice lunch here with my wife. Good lunch menu. Looked like the had some good drink options. Have to go back and try some beverages.
I like coming to Primo's for traditional Mexican food. The seating opens up nicely to a beautiful view of the lake. I don't like their chips and salsa; they are too thin and the salsa is too watery. The best part of Primo's is their outstanding Lakeview and appetisers.
I’ve eaten here twice. The first time I just did take out, the second I ate inside. I ordered a desert and a drink for take out. The churros were very good; highly recommend. The Mangonada could have used a little more liquor. My second time was for brunch on the weekend. Highly recommend the Brunch. The Breakfast bowl was delicious and it was a generous amount of food. The mimosa was also very good.
Primos is a solid choice for Tex Mex for that area. They also have a wide range of choices. The food had great taste and quality. I gave the service a 3 not because the staff was bad, just for a Friday they were understaffed. The atmosphere had music and the view of the lake going for it. I have been here plenty of times and plan to go back.
Primo's food was fantastic, and the outdoor view was breathtaking! 🤩 The relaxed vibe and live music were great, though the performer's constant mentions of leaving were a bit awkward. Service was slow and the margarita was disappointing. 🍹 BUT, the catfish tacos were AMAZING! 🌮🤤 Definitely recommend adding jalapeños to the rice. Overall, I'd go back for the food and view!
I was at the bar when this lovely beautiful bartender greeted me with the most gorgeous smile and asked to take my order. I just wanted a basic frozen margarita and I can tell she made it with love. She told me her name was Lesly and she would be happy to help. She spent time and I got to know her and she is an incredible bartender. We need more people like her behind the bar. She was very helpful in terms of the drink menu and food menu. She had the best attitude and deserves a raise or promotion. I'll come back specifically for her in the future. Great hire by management.
My family and I have visited Primo’s a hand full of times over the years. But it’s been a while since our last visit. Either traffic or just time not being in our favor to stop by always seemed to be in the cards. But yesterday, we were in the area and decided to stop by. It was my wife, my youngest son, and I. It must have been the time we got there that was good, because we were immediately seated. Our son wanted to sit outside in order to see the view of the lake. So that’s were we went. Our waitress came by and got our drink order and give us our menus. As we were looking a young man stopped by with our chips and salsa. For me, when I do a review of a Tex-Mex ( or Mexican) restaurant, the absolute first thing I gauge my experience on is the chips and salsa. As we were looking at the menu, I dive right into the chips and salsa. Now you may think differently, but I was not impressed. To be honest, it tasted like tomato sauce with peppers and onions thrown in with a little black pepper. The chips were not up to par as well. Not crisp and borderline stale. Now to the actual meal. My wife orders the chicken enchiladas with sour cream sauce and my son gets the mini corn dogs and fries. My wife loved hers as well as the rice and charro beans that came with it. My son ate his as well. Though you can’t really mess his up since the mini corn dogs and fries are most likely premade and all you need to do is throw them in the fryer. I always like to try new things on the menu when I visit a place that I’ve been before. Who knows when something will become your new favorite. I decided on the Primos Burrito. The description on the menu sounded great, but it was the photo of the finished product that sealed the deal. The waitress asked if I wanted chicken, beef, or brisket. I choose brisket because there’s nothing better than a good tex-mex brisket with all those wonderful flavors. When it arrives, it looks sooo good. I first tasted the tomatillo sauce, GREAT!! I cut into it and tasted the brisket. Super BUMMED on that. Though it was really tasty, it didn’t taste like brisket at all. It tasted like pot roast. IDK how else to describe it. Like I said, it was good. It just didn’t taste how I expected it to taste. So even though the salsa was not great and the “brisket” was not what I would call brisket, the meal as a whole warranted the star rating I gave. The meal was great and the waitress was wonderful. Maybe your experience will be different, maybe it will be the same. But I do recommend finding out for yourself.
Stopped here since it was by the hotel. The food was good. The salsa was okay and the menu options seemed good. I ordered the carne asada. It had good flavor, but was a little salty. The service was...acceptable. Server didn't seem like they wanted to be there, but they checked off the boxes! Just wish the vibe was a little more enthusiastic or positive. The location itself is great and the lights and decor were awesome!
Wanted live music for dinner and gave up. We decided for a view by the lake and Tex-Mex. food was fine. Service was excellent. Hot sauce was . but the find was live music tonight. Go!

This is a great place to hangout. They have a spectacular view of the lake in the patio. The food is good most of the time. Only downside is that the day I went the restrooms were extremely dirty and there was no AC in them, so you could imagine the mix of odors. Another con is that if you DO NOT pay in cash, they will charge you more if you use your credit or debit card. A $11 Margarita went to up to $15 when paying in debit…(Two sections in the Texas Business & Commerce Code prohibit a seller from charging a fee when a buyer uses a credit or debit card as payment. These laws are in Sections 604A.0021 and 604A.002, respectively). 🤷🏽♂️
Arrived with Bae to celebrate a birthday and there were at least 15 adults and 4 children there! I found disappointment in how hot it was and the bathroom was a dorn hotbox. There was only one waitress waiting on us but she did alright for the most part…The alcoholic drinks were a little syrupy. I got my go to drink. strawberry mojito. Bae thought the food was a little pricey and wasn’t totally enthused about the taste. The chimichanga wasn’t all the grand. The entertainment was a music box to pay for… I would love to come back during the day to enjoy the scenery of the water, and hopefully have a better experience. My experience at the Dallas location of Lemmon was fantastic besides parking. Try there if you haven’t already.
This is my 3rd time trying this restaurant and I am not impressed with the taste of the food or their margaritas. Their beef enchiladas are so bland, rice is bland and their refried beans didn't have much authentic flavors. If you like good flavored Tex Mex (authentic taste) then this place will not impress you. If you are looking for a quick lunch or brunch this is your restaurant. Staff is good and attentive however food thumbs down. Really nice view though from the patio.

The queso was runny and salty it tasted like watered down Velveeta queso. Husband did not like his food at all. He had avocado enchiladas. I had spinach and mushroom quesadillas that where okay. Food was kind of bland and overpriced. Service was okay. Will not return.
Chips & Hot sauce were amazing... but, my dinner was bland and brought to me with no rice... Enchilada dinner with no rice... because they ran out of rice.... restaurant open till midnight and I ordered my food about 10:30pm The Friday night live band consisted of 2 men... the singer, who was too loud, & continuously asking for tips
I have had better enchiladas from a gas station. The cheese enchilada looked like it had been taken out of a frozen TV dinner and not heated up. The waitress was terrible and quite rude. She saw we were trying to flag her down several times and darted through the service door. The queso had an oil slick 1/4 inch deep. It was watered down and gross. The ticket had a suggested tip of 30%! On a positive note, the patio seating was nice, and they did have live music.
This rating is based on my most recent experience at this restaurant. We went on a Friday evening around 17:45. We expected a wait to be seated but was pleasantly surprised that there was no wait. We sat on the patio overlooking the lake. At first, the lake views distracted us from noticing how dirty the place is. The concrete patio is disgusting with dried food and stains that I could tell had been there for weeks. That patio should be washed down every single day. I also noticed all the trash down below which consisted mostly of paper silverware rings, the paper wrappers from plastic straws, and paper napkins. The waiter was nice and tentative to our needs. Our order was taken quickly and efficiently. However, a couple things were forgotten. Napkins with our food, and refills of salsa. The food quality was slightly below mediocre. It's unfortunate that too many restaurants in prime locations with beautiful views rely only on those superficial views to distract from the poor food quality. I could go anywhere and stare at that huge lake. Please concentrate more on the quality of your food and stop using the lake as a crutch. And to top it off, they use expanded metal mesh tables on the patio. Anything you drop by accident will and up going right through the table and into your lap. This poor choice of tapble also contributes to how nasty the patio deck is, and leads to dried food on the wire mesh that cannot be wiped up. That in itself is very unsanitary.
The view of the lake was nice, but the grilled chicken was super dry. Their verde sauce was just runny guacamole and their salsa tastes like store bought salsa. I will say the food was very disappointing and it was not worth the price. Also, the ceiling is leaking right when you walk in the door.
WISH I COULD GIVE A ZERO OR NEGATIVE STARS!\nMet 2 friends today looking forward to a delicious meal and great fellowship. \nI'm allergic to green bell peppers. \nOrdered the beef fajitas and told wa…
I hate to write a bad review but this place has been here for years & after this experience I definitely will never go back. It was Mother's Day so I can understand the hour wait. But every single …
This restaurant is way overrated. The restaurant was very busy and maybe this was the reason for the lack of cleanliness. Our waiter Hugo was friendly and all, but the fajita wasn't good and the tortilla were probably purchased and not made on site. The view of the lake is certainly nice but the quality of the food is lacking despite their premium price. I hope management pays attention to their cleaning protocol and enact a stricter cleaning procedure whereas the floors and tables are clean and tidy... Retail is Detail!
Service was bad, food was ok and atmosphere was the only good part. Forever to get our food, burger was dry and overcooked.
Food is so bad! This is like a comercialized type of meal... fajitas taste like they're out of a frozen bag... enchiladas arent fully something... just awful... this is definitely no mexican approved. My mother inlaws enchiladas were the guajillo ones and were made with flour tortillas 🤨 who does that?
I am a regular customer. Over the last 6 months service has really got bad minus a few. Ashley being the best. Food is cold, orders are wrong and with certain servers we have to raise our hands to get service while some are only talking to single (by themselves or in a group) men. Family or male/female couples have to catch attention. I will find a new place to go
Ordered brisket tacos, dry and flavorless. Old onions and cilantro were used. Cost 22 dollars and I've had better tacos out of a gas station. Do not come here.
We sat outside on the patio and I ordered the avocado enchiladas. The rice was bland. The black beans were soupy and tasted like canned beans. The food was warm, like they heated it in a microwave. The chips were super oily and bland and the salsa is pace. The service was not there either. One server passed us off to another so made us feel uncomfortable. The ONLY good thing about this place was the lake view (not that the lake is nice and blue lol, but not their fault). I'm a vegetarian and there wasn't much to choose from.
Food: The food was subpar until my wife found a hair in her shrimp taco. We showed it to the waiter and he carried it to the manager. They did not charge us for her food. Service: The waiter was very nice however we did not see him very much and we both ran out of drinks and chips. Atmosphere: This is a very cool place however with what happened with the food and the service I just could not get into the atmosphere.
Worst experience ever. Took almost 7 minutes to be acknowledged to be seated. Salsa was not good, taste like nothing but tomatoes and vinegar. Had to ask for drink refills. Took ten minutes for someone to take our food order. Then almost an hour for food to come out. The food was good, but not worth the wait. The ladies room was awful. The water went everywhere except the sink. The counter tops and floor was wet. When I reported it to the waitress she said oh I know, it goes everywhere. So if they are aware…why hasn’t it been fixed? I could understand slow service if the restaurant was full. The patio was packed but there was no one in the front of the restaurant and only a few tables in the bar area. We will not be back.
Queso is very bland and runny, salsa is too chunky and HOT/SPICY! Carne asada shrimp plate- everything on the plate was bland and not fresh. Water tastes like bad tap water. Lakeview outdoor seating was nice. Rave Music bit too loud outside. Deff not peaceful. Birds everywhere trying to take your food. Unfortunately won’t be back. ***SHAQ*** please buy this place and make it better!
