Depending on what day and which crew you get, the experience varies. I come here some days, and the execution is flawless, but on others (usually evening shifts), it feels like a completely different location. Keeping the line clean is important, and consistency is even better. The speed is there, so most customers are in and out, but the quality isn't. If improves over time, and I will update once that has been confirmed. Update: 5/27/24 Me and my family visited again around 4pm. The experience was a positive one and the line was clean. An associate was being trained on the line, and things were moving efficiently. Only negative experience was one that seems to be consistent. The drink machine always has 2 or three options unavailable when we visit. Bot sure if this is a mechanical issue or lack of follow-up to fill selections over the course of the day. (Raising star level to a 3 and will update again based on future experiences)

This place has a 3.7 rating for a reason . It seams EVERY TIME I come to this location they are out of steak . Either it’s cooking or it hasn’t been cut up is the response I got today . It’s probably just my luck . But this time no white rice, no vegetables, no steak . The guy in front of me was asking for some vegetables and the kid just says “no” lol. I mean do you really need two lady’s handling the orders . One lady was grabbing the food and placing it into the bags and sliding it over a whole 5inches to the register lady to charge lol ,if it was really busy yes I understand faster check out but there was like 3 people in line . Come on go back there help cook, help prep, check inventory never let any food get low under any circumstances. If your manager is up to par ,all of these issues would be addressed asap. How those employees are trained and that store is run determines the amount of skill set the supervisor and or manager have. And man I really wanted my steak burrito. So I said no thank you maybe next time and walked out . Sitting in my truck pondering my next move i remember they opened another chipotle a little further Lakeview Prkway. So I drove the extra 10mins and came to the new location. Best decision ever. Was greeted at the door ,place nice and cleaned and whipped down the whole crew extra at tentative, very nice . While I was waiting I saw a kid come check the inventory of the food . Everything was full ! Looks like I’ll be driving the extra mile to come to this location from now on . And while I was typing all this I just murdered my burrito!

I purchased a chicken bowl but it was more like a rice bowl. The portions are no consistent. The only ingredient that is abundant is rice. The chicken was mostly crumbs. Everyone is always in a hurry even if the traffic is slow.

Got an online order delivered to my house and it was a bowl that was almost half full. They barely put anything in it and just send it out to be delivered. Whats the deal with that? Paid full price for you guys just to not fill a bowl up. Dont come here not worth it at all. Just go anywhere else instead even better just cook at home so you know what exactly youre getting. Give me a free meal so I can come back and actually get a FULL SIZE BOWL not whatever yall give to online orders.

My husband picked up our food and on the way home as he’s getting out of his truck, the bottom of the bag rips and all of our food falls out. My food is all over the ground but his survived. I’m like “let’s just go back and tell them what happened I’m sure they’ll understand”…. Sort of. I go in and the little girl working the front has such a stank attitude-they all did tbh- and they always do!!! She literally walks away from me twice maybe more as I’m trying to explain what happened. The two girls at the front don’t even let me finish my sentence and start calling for Ruben. Ruben makes his way to the front I try to explain it to him and he firmly says “yeah we can remake it for them/ no problem” so she starts remaking it but I didn’t get rice so I tell her can you double-bowl the bowl and she looks at me and says nothing….(mind you I’m pretty sure the reason my bowl fell out of the bag in the first place was because the bottom of the bowl was wet since there was no rice and the bottom was all beans WET beans-DUH) So she finishes my bowl and the girls keep asking each other if we’re paying for it- I keep telling them no he said to remake it no worries- my husband is like I’ll pay it’s fine and I’m like no!! They eventually just let us leave and I say thank you and she just walks away. So sick of the stank attitudes. Never coming here again. This was on 8/11/25 at 9:30 pm. Managers check this location please.

Any time I have visited this Chipotle I am more disappointed than the past visit. During this visit, my order was ready on time! First time ever! But four of our five orders were almost half the portion of previous visits. There was barely a pinch of cheese in my kiddos meal leaving them begging for more food. My son’s burrito bowl was also half full and left him asking for more food as well. Just overall consistently disappointing. Maybe try a different location and save yourself the frustration, especially if you’re ordering ahead and picking up. I hope that if you eat in they provide slightly better portions more comparable to other locations.

Food is good. Portion control is awful. Ordered a chicken bowl and saw the guy put half a scoop of rice and barely any chicken. The bowl was mostly sour cream. Barely any cheese or any toppings. Won’t be coming back. This was $10..

My husband wanted to get me dinner for Mother's Day and ordered me a salad and chips through Uber. My "salad" did not come with dressing or lettuce 🤦. The chips bag also had about a quarter portion of chips in it. Unfortunately this has been super normal for this store which is a shame because I like chipotle and I am hoping these issues get fixed.

Chicken feels so stiff I don’t even know if that makes sense. Maybe it’s just very dry… also gave me half a scoop of everything never seen a bow so empty. Also felt like there was only one person working idk definitely did not enjoy my experience here today and will not be coming back to this location sadly.

The supervisor/staff was very rude to customers and not trained well at all. I paid the additional $5 for double steak and still was NOT given double steak. I am very dissatisfied with the experience here.

I keep hoping this place gets better but every time I go in the staff is rude and unfriendly. They care more about clocking out to go home or flirting with eachother. No one in this place is friendly and every single person that works here has an attitude.

Today I visited the new Chipotle in Rowlett! My to go order was not even a fourth of the bowl! Arrived home the bowl was cold ! Only a couple pieces of chicken! Then an hour later , I was very sick with both Diarrhea and Vomiting ! This Chipotle is new , it should have not had bad food, or small portions! This was a terrible experience!

This location NEVER has anything ready! Especially white rice. I literally saw 10 people walk away because they had no white rice ready. Unfortunately for me, I had promised my kiddos Chipotle so I waited 12 minutes for white rice to be ready. Go to the Firewheel location instead! The food taste way better, the workers there are much nicer and they are a much cleaner location. I only come to the Rowlett location because its closer to me but when possible, I go to a different location.

I did a mobile order. They played over my food. Never sat it out and I told them I was waiting on a mobile order. And then the order was wrong! So disappointed. My first time eating chipotle. Maybe I should’ve just ordered inside. Or maybe it’s just this location. I don’t know.
