Location meravigliosa con vista mare sia all"aperto che al chiuso, menù ottimo a un prezzo adeguato. Ma l 'eccellenza è il personale: efficiente, cordiale e molto attento alle esigenze del cliente

Il Palmaria Restaurant è uno di quei posti in cui si torna sempre volentieri. Il servizio è sempre attento, il menù curato e mai banale, con proposte che cambiano periodicamente (per poter offrire sempre prodotti freschi) e una carta dei vini che mette in risalto i nostri bellissimi luoghi. La terrazza, che si affaccia da una parte sul borgo colorato e dall'altra sull'Isola Palmaria, aggiunge un valore speciale, rendendola uno spazio dove potersi rilassare anche nei momenti più frequentati. Vivendo a poca distanza da Portovenere, ho avuto modo di tornarci più volte, sia con amici che con la mia famiglia, e ogni volta ritroviamo la stessa qualità e gentilezza che rendono questo ristorante una scelta sicura e gratificante. Che dire: è uno dei miei posti del cuore!

Dopo la cerimonia religiosa nella chiesetta di San Pietro, abbiamo festeggiato il 50° anniversario delle nostre nozze al Palmaria Restaurant del Grand Hotel Portovenere. Grazie all’elevata professionalità dell’Ass. Manager Francesco Serpe abbiamo potuto organizzare l’evento in ogni particolare, stilando menù di mare e di terra con attenzione ai gusti e alle esigenze alimentari dei nostri ospiti. Il pranzo, allestito nell’elegante veranda con suggestiva vista mare, è stato perfetto: raffinata la mise en place, eccellenti le materie prime sapientemente impiegate dall’executive chef per l’elaborazione di piatti squisiti, ispirati ai sapori e profumi della cucina mediterranea, composti con sicuro senso estetico in un riuscitissimo equilibrio di colori e forme; il team di sala si è prodigato con grande professionalità in un servizio attento ed efficace e a conclusione del pranzo ha dato risalto al taglio della torta di anniversario allestendo con gentile iniziativa un elegante tavolo dedicato a quel momento. Non potevamo desiderare di meglio per celebrare il traguardo da noi raggiunto.

Siamo stati a mangiare in questo incantevole ristorante qualche giorno fa. Io e il mio compagno viaggiando tanto visitiamo spesso ristoranti di tutti i tipi ma questo è stato veramente speciale. Siamo rimasti incantanti da tutto, Dalla meravigliosa vista della terraza al servizio impeccabile con attenzione a quei piccoli dettagli che fanno la differenza. Per non parlare del cibo di alta qualità che ci hanno servito. Da ritornarci sicurante!

Fabulous location, good food, the service and the presentation was excellent. Could not have asked for more attentive and thoughtful servers. The view was lovely. We both had the Ligurian style fish and enjoyed it. We had a very nice evening here. Cannot say enough about the staff and their professionalism !

Vacationed here with wife and 1 year old daughter to visit the 5 lands about 2 years ago. We ate a full on 3 course meal (and then some) here and it was splendid. Everything - food, service, atmosphere - was top quality. When I asked the waitress where the nearest ATM was, she jokingly said La Spezia - as if to decline the possibility of a tip. Largest tip we’ve left. Will definitely be back when we are around again!

A Taste of Paradise at Palmaria – Porto Venere’s Culinary Gem 🇮🇹🍝🍷 While exploring the dreamy seaside town of Porto Venere, we stumbled upon Palmaria Restaurant—and mamma mia, what a find! From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed and seated right away by a gracious hostess who effortlessly switched between English and Italian. Bellissimo! The service? Impeccabile. The food? Even better. Their on-site sommelier was a true maestro—her wine pairing was absolutely perfetto, enhancing every bite of our meal. We kicked things off with a delicate Parmesan crisp topped with tomato jam, followed by Oysters from the Sea of Poets—fresh, briny, and poetry on a plate. Then came the star of the show: Linguine with sea urchins, mussels, and Ligurian pesto caviar. Every forkful tasted like a love letter from the Ligurian coast. Just when we thought it couldn’t get better, dessert arrived: a mango cheesecake kissed with passion fruit and elderflower. Hands down the best cheesecake I’ve ever had—sweet, tangy, and beautifully balanced. From start to finish, Palmaria delivered a five-star experience with plenty of Italian soul. If you find yourself in Porto Venere, do yourself a favor—stop in and treat yourself. Your taste buds will thank you. 🇮🇹✨

Wow honestly everything was amazing, the restaurant was not crowded at all (air conditioned!) with a beautiful view, and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Lastly, the food was delicious and innovative!I had the “Summer in Liguria” and it was honestly the best dessert i’ve had in any restaurant in Italy.

Last night at had dinner on the stunning terrace of the Palmaria Restaurant at the Grand Hotel Portovenere overlooking the Gulf of La Spezia, one of the best settings on the Italian Riviera. The service, food and ambience were all excellent.

This place was awesome!! Definitely very pricey but very worth it for a great date night. The staff was super attentive and nice and even sold us a bottle of olive oil upon request. The carbonara was to die for and the ceviche was so fresh. The ravioli with tuna was very different and cool to try.

Holy moly this is a beautiful restaurant with the best view in Porto Venere, day or night. You get to watch the sunset and moon make its way across the sky. Expensive, like a €12 euro tiramisu, and €5 capuccino, but it's well worth the spend. The capuccino also comes with biscotti and the food always comes with nice service and the best view in the area. Come here!

A very personal service and high quality of service! We came in with the question; what can we eat? My girlfriend has certain allergies what makes it very difficult to find a good place to eat. Natalina was the one looking after us an did a great job trying to find something we would enjoy. She spoke to the chef an made sure we had a wonderful time. Thank you so much for this great experience. We are definitely coming back when we are in the region!

We chose the tasting menu for dinner, to remark: - For the menu we were provided with a QR code (iPad was offered in case of having issues). Well organised website, explaining the every ingredient used in the dish. - High quality products used by the kitchen. - Tasty dishes, with different flavours using the ingredients from the area. - The chef came after dinner to the table (he went to all the tables), to introduce himself and to ask for feedback. In my opinion this is really important. The fact that you get to know the person behind the dishes you ate and that for this person your opinion is so important that he is willing to come to you and ask. - Delighted with the service. Waiters could explain every ingredient of the dish. Every question and request we asked, was always answered and met. Service was always attentive and professional, while at the same time close and friendly (Bryant & Riccardo served us). - We had dinner outside in the terrace, such a beautiful view. Relaxed and summery environment. I liked the decoration, but the chairs could be more comfortable.

This restaurant is attached to the grand hotel located right next to the ferry drop off on in Portovenere. Restaurant has great views of the water and food to match. Favorite of the meal was the fried anchovies with pesto sauce. Service was excellent and made the afternoon lazily pass by without a worry or want. After lunch I relocated to the bar to nurse my rolled ankle- medicating with a couple of expertly crafted mojitos. Just what the doctor ordered. Overall an excellently way to spend an afternoon.

Luogo bellissimo , panorama unico. Servizio curato. Piatti buoni ma assolutamente non all'altezza della richiesta. Cestino del pane buono , sfiziosa la schiacciata croccante , valido il fritto con verdure tagliate sottili , il primo alla polpa di riccio sapeva poco di riccio, Buona la frutta e anche il dolce . Ho mangiato bene ma mi aspettavo qualcosa di strabiliante. Ci tornerei per la posizione , unica al mondo.

Ristorante di classe, personale molto preparato, attento e gentile. Cibo ottimo. In più una fantastica terrazza dalla quale si può godere di una splendida vista sul porto e sull’isola di Palmaria.

Location incredibile, panorama mozzafiato, personale molto professionale e attento hai dettagli. Abbiamo fatto sia aperitivo che cena. Devo fare solo 2 appunti: occhio al sale nel gazpaccio (totalmente assente) occhio alla pulizia dei gamberi (mi sono ritrovato tra i denti una zampetta) e per finire vi consiglio di evitare di mettere peperoni semi crudi come contorno nel branzino è un peccato perché il filetto era cotto in maniera magistrale e rovinare tutto con un ortaggio così forte è un peccato!

Upscale restaurant with nice views. We had a couple of service issues, but nothing major. Food was prepared with skill and thoughtfulness. A lot of local product, so you might need to try items you’re not usually used to. Very slow service, so we would recommend you communicating to get things like the check, etc... (hint)

Siamo stati al ristorante Palmaria perché attratti dalla certificazione AIC, essendo il mio fidanzato celiaco. Purtroppo, l’esperienza non è stata all’altezza delle aspettative, soprattutto considerando il livello del locale. Appena arrivati, il caposala ha chiesto ad alta voce “Chi è intollerante?”, e quando abbiamo risposto che si trattava di celiachia, ha replicato: “Ma che differenza c’è?”. Una domanda che, da parte di un ristorante certificato per il senza glutine, ci ha sinceramente spiazzati. Ci saremmo aspettati maggiore consapevolezza e delicatezza su un tema così importante per chi vive con una patologia autoimmune. Il servizio in sé è stato discreto, ma con un coperto di 5€ a persona, ci saremmo aspettati un’attenzione diversa e più professionale. Il posto è sicuramente bello e ha potenzialità, ma su alcuni aspetti – soprattutto quelli legati alla sensibilità verso i clienti con esigenze alimentari – c’è ancora da lavorare.

Location meravigliosa, un punto panoramico perfetto per ammirare tutta Portovenere, specialmente di sera. Ovviamente il panorama si ritrova anche nello scontrino. I piatti sono buoni e il pesce freschissimo, ma il prezzo finale è decisamente sopra le righe. È uno sfizio da togliersi una volta se siete di passaggio dalle 5 terre, ma non ci tornerei una seconda volta.

My partner and I had dinner Here on our first night in Portovenere. We chose the place because of the view and that is what you pay for. Absolutely a lovely place to sit, the service from al the waiters was fine (Some where more attentive to all the guests while others were focussen on Some of the guests). The food was okay-ish, it did not blow us away and absolute not When we saw the bill. Very pricey for average tasting food.

Purtroppo non metto 0 perché non c’è . Però quello è il valore di questo ristorante. Sconsigliato. Cibo mediamente buono ma mi è stato servito freddo. Sono stato cliente assieme alla mia famiglia e tutti hanno riscontrato problemi. Dalla pasta che era fredda con un ragù che sapeva solo di limone. Invece L orata che abbiamo pagato carissima, e stata sfilettava da una signora completamente inesperta, c’erano più lische che carne. Sono stato cliente questa estate in vacanza, ora so dove non tornare, ah a proposito mi ero dimenticato.... il conto...... circa 300 euro per 6 piatti (ogniuno ha preso primo e secondo) prezzi esagerati anche il vino se prendo lo stesso in bottega lo pagavo la metà. State lontani
