THIS PLACE IS TRASH 🗑️ We had to seat ourselves (which is what we originally thought we were supposed to do so I just grabbed the menus and chose from the various choices of empty seating) By the time we ordered food, the drinks came out (how can you mess up a simple order of agua frescas??) my mom ordered jalapeños to eat with her food because she’s allergic to serranos, the jalapeños came out by the time she was done eating. The food is bland and the frijoles charros tasted nasty. The consume for the quesabirria tacos was sooooo bland and tasted old. On top of all of that, one lady at the counter decided to stare at us the entire time, to the point that we made eye contact multiple times while I was trying to eat a meal with my family and it made me uncomfortable. Definitely not worth it and will never be back. $130 on trash food and trash environment. Needless to say we went to the wrong Taco Monterrey 😀💔

Ordered taco plate, wet burrito, and taco salad for my family with a side of chips and salsa …. Amazing flavors spicy crunchy goodness … the cashier was sweet and the cook was busting tail to get our order out quick

Well I sure was hungry for some good food. Came across the internet on a Longview Tx page. So here I am wide open , big tables, serve you self large variety of soft drinks or have you friendly server Ms. Kendra help you out. I ordered the special tamale plate with rice and salad , beans and a street 🌮 taco. Man it sure was delicious and big portions. My taco has great flavor. I know I didn’t order it with onions but the whole place was a hit. They have a great variety of good eats on the menu and great atmosphere so head on down and grab a bite to eat.

needs a little more consistency. Great menu. go check out your competition and my pick up some better ways to serve your food. food is great but could look better with a little more apeel. Just saying. price your tamales with a sign. and a sign when your out of them. God bless

I came expecting the tray of quesa birria tacos and this place has changed ownership. Not as good (in my opinion). However, I will give them another try.

Everyone was so friendly and the environment was so fun and welcoming! I ordered the birria tacos and loved the way they made them by grilling/frying the shell to a crispness that I really liked on the tacos. The meat was so flavorful. My only issue was they were VERY greasy so as they cooled off there was a layer of grease on them that my taste buds and stomach didn't really enjoy, but if you eat them fast enough that's not a problem 😂

Very generous portions for traditional Mexican food. A little bit expensive, in my opinion, but probably worth the price.

I got the beans with double the meat. It all fit in that tiny bowl in the picture. Kind of lame, if you ask me.

As a person who doesn't speak Spanish, the menu was hard to read, & the waitress didn't seem to speak enough English to tell me what dishes were flavorful. & a little pricey if you weren't sure what you were getting. My dish, a flattened steak was bland, my husband had enchiladas, said they were good.

My wife and I decided to go to this place and the whole time we we sitting and waiting a lady said she was gonna come to back and give us little time to order she never came back and 20 mins later has passed servers just staring at us they all serve they own but see a mixed couple they just ignore that we are even there and one server finally get to us and say they don’t serve something that is on they own menu and I ask what do you recommend and she just walks away rude and tells someone else to wait on us which was rude I will not recommend them

Um... I asked for beef fajita tacos, fully loaded after being on a 4 hour road trip. They gave me my food on paper plates with foil over, ground beef...a baggy with chopped cilantro and onion. No napkins, or eating utensils. I was so tired, I did not think to check my food, opened the food as we got back on the road, and it was ground beef, no toppings and was so unappealing that I didn't eat it. My friend had nothing to clean his hands off with, it was horrible. I should have checked before I left.

Tacos have no seasoning.... food is bland , too expensive for what they offer, although service was good. Just overrated

Food was terrible, menudo is straight seasoned oil, the rice was overseasoned, milanesa was bland, torta tastes like they fried it in peanut oil and there is no beans for the torta all they had was frijoles charros, would not come here again, high chairs were broken, service was terrible,

Saw this place on TikTok and me and my family decided to try it. Came in there and was hopeful cause small “hole in the wall” joints are usually amazing. There were only 3 tables seated and the rest were empty. It took quite a while for a server to come get our drink order, it was wrong when she brought it, our food came pretty quickly but was bland and very little seasoning, had to salt everything! She forgot 3 of our items and brought it when I was already done eating and then looked at me and said “girl”…. Girl what!? You forgot my food! And to top it all off, we were stared at the ENTIRE time we were eating. To the point to where we were uncomfortable. Wound up spending over $130 for 6 meals and drinks that were wrong and food that was forgotten. Didn’t leave a tip and will not be coming back. I do not recommend.

I placed an order with them. The girl with the blue hair took my order. I gave her my phone since I already had it all typed out and I thought that would be easiest for her, I guess not. The didn’t ring up one of our food items which none of of noticed until later. We waited for our food and once it was ready we got our food and left. Once we got home we realized that we were missing food. I called up there and let them know that we were missing food and told her what we were missing. She knew exactly who I was and said “yes we have your food here.” So I head up there and I go get the food. I check the bag this time and I’m STILL missing food. I go back up to the order station and let her know. She then proceeded to say that she never put that in. She then rang me up for it. I asked her if I still had to pay for it even though I had it in the original order and I even had to go up there a second time because they had forgotten my food. She said yes because she never rang it in. I was not happy with that response so I left. I see why their second location ended up closing. We will not be returning. Highly disappointed.
