The new owner is so kind! My wife and I stopped in for lunch, they were taking new photos for the menu and offered us a roll on the house from the shoot! Delicious and great service!

This place slaps! Love it. People are great, food is great, if you don’t like it, try again.

I was a bit concerned when I saw the prices... but the food was absolutely worth it. Everything was fantastic. The sushi was delicious, the salmon teriyaki was cooked perfectly, and the tempura was amazing. I am definitely going back to try more of the sushi... there are so many more that sound incredible.

Excellent sushi! Came here after Gilroy Gardens and was supposed the food was so good! The sashimi melts in your mouth!

I dined here on saturday night with my mother, the food was delicious, the staff was friendly and helpful, constantly refilling our drinks and overall helpful. The food was outstanding, I recommend the bento boxes personally, come eat here!

We have been coming here for a few years. Tonight, the owner came to our table to check in on us. Very polite and gracious, the food was amazing and we love the Margherita's!

This wonderful Sushi and Japanese restaurant is the best in the entire South Bay! It has been there for over 20 years! Super fresh top-grade fish only, daily specials, the best appetizers, excellent very cold Beers on tap, many specialty drinks, and delicious sakes! Very reasonable prices too.... Big screen HD TVs everywhere.

I’ve been here many times and missed eating here immensely! They check your temperature upon arrival and get your name and number in case of a Covid exposure which is so considerate and greatly appreciated. We started with some tea because it was chilly and we left our sweaters at home. We ordered the tempura combo, which comes with vegetables and 2 shrimps, and the stuffed jalapeños. Both were delicious! We almost always get the tempura combo but it was our first time trying the jalapeños and they did not disappoint! They were meaty and cheesy! Our server did say they can be spicier or more mild on some days, so be aware that you might now be getting the spicy or mild jalapeños you’re hoping for. I enjoy mine either way, thank goodness. Our stars of the night were the Snow Mountain and the Golden State Warrior. I didn’t realize there was macadamia nuts in the Snow Mountain and it was such a nice surprise! It has a lot of fish on top and everything comes together so perfectly! The Golden State Warrior has mango in it and I believe some jalapeño, I only had a couple bites of this one but it was so tasty!! I highly recommend this restaurant, the staff is always friendly and attentive. The food never disappoints and the food is rightfully priced.

Usually excellent, tonight was just average but still enjoyable

Firstly, the service here is always excellent. Friendly, humorous and attentive staff really makes a dining experience memorable. This is one of our regular haunts these days, simply due to the fact that the food is consistently good and fresh. Most of the sushi rolls are pretty decadent, but they are still really delicious. There is a really extensive menu covering most tastes and a great bar to pass the time at whilst you wait - there is definitely a list for a table on busy nights! Be prepared to wait up to 45 minutes on fridays at dinner time!

Server super nice. Food taste good. I like how all of their fish are fresh and yummy. Just that it is a bit dark inside.

Was moderately busy on a Monday night, but we were seated right away. Servers seemed a little understaffed, but they seemed to do well for the situation. Our server had decent feedback about our order. Food quality was good but the Calamari rings were a bit stringy, possibly a little over cooked. $56.xx for 2 rolls, calamari rings and edamame. Would eat there again. Edit: Visited again around 7:30pm on a Saturday night. Wasn't too busy which was nice. Server was friendly. Food and drinks came relatively quick. The ghost sauce they make in house with fresh peppers is delicious and has a great kick to it. Highly recommend the ghost roll if you like it hot 🔥

Nice place and ambience . Had spicy ramen it was good . Enjoyed Ramune for first time and it was nostalgic and made me remember the similar sodas back in India. We tried ninja special Ry Ry roll and it was overall good But the best dish was the appetizer stuffed jalapeno it was the best we had

3 Stars is my personal taste this place is very popular the sushi's pretty decent it's not fan-freaking-tastic. Service was friendly and professional, the server did forget my saki I ordered after Appetizer but she remembered rather late and comped it. good job. I wish I could give 4 stars but there are just too many tiers between decent and excellent sushi. If you prefer slightly better quality food and a more traditional ambiance try 10 Japan near the Dollar Tree, But it is hard to go wrong here.

I had one of the special rolls and the unagi nigiri (I wanted saba, but they were out). The pieces of eel were big on the nigiri, but it felt like they were skimping on the fish in the roll (and there was too much avocado muting out the flavor of the other ingredients). Overall I was disappointed for the price I paid. Staff was nice and service was quick, though.

I've never had a crunchy roll like that so cold before. I cant imagine its supposed to be that cold of a temperature. The taste was good but would have been better had they not made it so cold. I usually like this place but I was greatly disappointed this time. 3 years later Update: Here again much better this time food was hot and flavorful.

Sushi was good. The place didn't turn on AC until near end of the meal. You could hear all surrounding tables completing it was hot inside. Service after taking the order then delivering the ordered meal didn't come back until three key had the tab in hand. Won't return based on service and temperate inside

Terrible parody of sushi. Rice gummy and hard, compressed to death, tasteless and too cold. Couldn't finish my #2 sushi plate. Nigiri fish was hacked with a dull knife, full of gristle, and unappealing large. California roll was more mochi like with a cheap flavor. Never going back. Lots of servers just standing around chatting and looking at their phones while people are waiting. Our server was sweet however and did her best.

Came here for a birthday dinner for the first time and gotta say the waiter was the worst I've had. She seemed overwhelmed with her job, doing 10 different things at once . I didn't know for a party of six a service fee is Mandatory, that probably explains her incentive to prioritize other tables since her tip was guaranteed. I understand the afternoon was busy but if you can't handle a table id do the professional thing and hand it down to another waiter to prioritize customer experience. I've been ordering out from here for years since COVID . And tonight was our first in person experience. I was highly disappointed on the experience. If I had the option I wouldn't of tipped. They took out a comfortable 34$ from a 170$ tab for crappy service smh. I'll stick to takeout because the food is amazing.

That's the avocado inside of my rolls! (Brown not green). Plus the took really long to get our plates! Everything look dry, like they have had it out for a while. Should have taken more pics! I know. Save your money go somewhere else!

I have been going her for years. The owners have always been nice but not so great to employees which is why they have a major overturn when it comes to wait staff. The constant change in employees means the new staff never know what is going on and are not trained at all. Tonight, I placed a phone order for myself and my kids. Same order we always get. They have my phone number saved and I’m assuming previous order history so it is weird that tonight they made so many mistakes. I would say I used to enjoy ninja sushi until I learned about how the owners treat their employees AND until I spent my own hard earned money for food I never received. When I called back to ask why the food was wrong. The 16 year old employee laughed it off and was just like “oh well.” Despite me paying a tremendous amount for the wrong items. It is seriously embarrassing for this establishment and makes me not want to return.

Store hours says they close at 9, tried to walk in to have dinner at 5 and was told they’re closed for the day. Should really change your hours. Big inconvenience

It used to be a decent place, ordered 2 rolls (Not fired). Both came warm rice, and were dry Miso soup came out in a dirty bowl. The waitress looked at me like funny when I asked for plates and a soy sauce tray. FYI the tempura isn't tempura it is beer battered veggies.
