I had a pleasant visit there s afternoon with MCKenzie! Very professional and attentive. I ordered online but asked that they go ahead and prepare my meal because they didn’t have the order yet. I said “I will pay again” if my payment/order doesn’t show up. She saved me a lot of time! I appreciate that so much. Another woman helped prepare my food but never spoke to me. We all have bad days. I didn’t mind. The service was great and my food was fresh. Thanks! Keep the good ones as they are hard to come by. Thank you!!!
The young girl and guy were very sweet/ but the manger Laura was rude to my daughter she did not use the coupon my daughter had charged extra for chips when her coupon came with a drink bag of chips and 12 in sub plus she did not let her put in her phone number or use her points had to drive back and the young people working there fix it for us she should not be a manager the young people there one of them should get to be a manager she needs to learn customer service from them did not get their names but they were really sweet will only come back if they are working but if I see Laura I will leave given the 5 stars to the young lady and guy working there they deserve it
Great service, so kind, patient and upbeat. I haven't been in a Subway in ages and my sandwich was so good! The gentleman was very helpful when it came to my child's allergies.
First off, they answer their phone. I called two other places to schedule a team meal and they did not answer their phone. I was able to feed my team for less than $7 a person. The meal was just right. We decided to use them again when we came back to town on the weekend. The meals were ideal for feeding kids between games. The kids were not bogged down by a heavy meal.
I eat here about 2 to 3 times a week. The staff are friendly. Some say the manager is an a** but he really is sweet. Everybody has bad days. They are always clean and the food is always fresh. I enjoy eating here on my lunches. They get peoples orders done in a timely manner even when they are really busy.
It was ok. Older building could use some work. But just your typical subway.
Ordered via the app for delivery. This location rocked it. Both myself and my wife's items were great. Fresh ingredients and a good amount. Thank you!!
Subway staff was friendly. But I didn't like it when he put my bread on counter and not on the paper sheet. Later that evening I became sick, and threw up food I had eaten around 12:PM, it was around 8pm when I became sick. I hadn't eaten anything after that except cheese and crackers. It could have been the avocado, but other than that I would go back, I don't have a problem with subway, and the guy did say they were working short, but could use better methods when handling food.
Tables were dirty. Remodel not finished yet. At least they brought back roast beef. Over $25 for two 6" subs, tiny chips, and medium tea that wasn't very good. Maybe it'll get better
Down side of ordering on app is you can’t watch them make your food. Dry as s sandwich and I’m missing ingredients.😒😒
Very slow! I ordered on the app… I got there…wait for them to finish food..then the girl sloppily made my sandwich right in front of me. Didn’t toast it…told me it didn’t say to toast on the receipt…not my cup of tea to go back and forth over such..inside was quiet dingy and uncomfortable It was very busy everyone was quiet and looked tense. 🤷🏽♀️
We live directly across the street from Subway & even though the staff has never been friendly, we used to pick up sandwiches, to-go, often because of the convenience. Last Friday, after work, when I walked in, the girl behind the counter wasn’t doing anything & there were no other customers in the store. When she saw me, she started making a sandwich. So I waited. A girl who was in the back came to the doorway and she and the employee working the counter started chatting. Finally I asked if I could place an order. The girl making the sandwich told me no because the other girl wasn’t on the clock and she was working on an online order.” I said, “Really? Even though I’m standing right here & you weren’t working on that order when I walked in?” She said that she actually got the online order before I got there, but that it wouldn’t matter if I had gotten there beforehand because online orders always come 1st, no matter what. She didn’t asked me to give her a minute or anything. She just went back to slowly making that sandwich & didn’t even look up again. So I left very disappointed in Subway.
I tried reaching out directly to subway but no one freakin cares about customer service anymore. We had baseball practice and went to subway after (around 8:45) they are open until 9:30 so not sure why everyone inside seemed so disgruntled about making our sandwiches. I placed an order on the app- arrived and all employees were in the back of the restaurant. They were super annoyed when I walked in. We spent $46.10 and to go home with the most disgusting mustard sandwiches I’ve ever seen in my life. I absolutely HATE leaving bad reviews but almost 50 bucks and the food simply not edible? Yeah I’m leaving one. A school night and we were forced to make peanut butter and jelly to get the boys in bed. These employees KNEW what they were doing. Take a look at the pictures and judge for yourself. They were taken AFTER wiping mustard off. Freakin HORRIBLE. And we love mustard. Shame on these employees for intentionally ruining our food
Rude employees. Ignore customers. Dirty and disgusting
Can't leave a good review. Very slow. Can't get order correct. 2 nights in a row. Either something forgot or order messed up.
Extremely slow, never seen employees move so slow honestly. The female hasn’t even been there two weeks so that’s understandable for her. The male, Matthew was not only slow but very unsanitary! Pulling his hat on and off right there with the food then reaching over other sandwiches being prepared and he has dandruff flakes all over his shirt. The female tried handing him the pickles for his customer and he got rude with her and slammed the container with her hand still on it back down and said I don’t need the container I will just reach over, meaning reaching over MY FOOD. This is an fyi to all of my community in Gladewater because it’s pointless to reach out to Subway personally as I have done so previously AND THEY MADE EXCUSES and this was on a different occasion! At the very least they should be required to be required to be sanitary! Absolutely disgusting!!!!
The morning shift needs to understand how to set up the next shift for success not failure. Every time they are out of bread or an ingredient. I order on the app they don't call and say hey we're out of this they do nothing till you get there. I'll go to Gilmer from now on.
First of all, I’m gonna start this by saying this is the second time we have experienced this issue with this location and it’s very vexing to say the least. Each time my wife has placed an order for my family of five through the app when she gets home with the bag we find out the most of our orders are wrong or they all have been wrong. The location is staffed with kids that seem to not care about the job they have agreed to do enough to pay the least bit of attention too the simple sandwich orders they are tasked with in short we have agreed to not used this subway anymore instead we have agreed to start using jersey mikes instead and to finish this off recall the scene from lethal weapon with Joe Pesci, and the quote about fast food, restaurants and their drive-throughs this scene is how I feel about subway.
Out of everything on our order, almost. Ordered a melt claims they had to discontinue it because they burned. Ordered a kids' meal and only got a sandwich. They offered to replace the apple sauce with cookies and didn't get them. My child only got a sandwich out of the whole meal. They refused to comp or refund anything g because it was a mobile order. So they basically stole money. I ordered something specific and didn't receive the quality I should have. It's not the first time here either this like number 4, on messing up our orders from here.
I recently had the displeasure of ordering through your store for the second time. I decided to go in being the last order I made online was missing the cheese. There was a large rude woman with no name tag that took my order. First, she acted offended that I wanted 2 sandwiches. Then as I requested to substitute turkey for ham (something I've always done at any subway) was informed that it wasn't possible. I asked for what my options were to achieve my desired sandwich. She told me I could start with a base sandwich and pay $4 for every meat. I ended up with the sandwich with ham that I scraped off myself. As I was going to leave, I herd the other girl tell her that they needed more grilled chicken. She informed the girl that they were only serving what they had and the customer will just have to like it. I felt sorry for the girl having to work with someone with such poor attitude. From now on I'll have to travel to another subway with better service.
