Glasgow - Bucks Bar West Regent St

Awesome spot, went here before Iron Maiden concert as it was the highest rated bar close to our hotel and we can easily see why. Great vibe, even on a Monday afternoon, food was delicious and good size portions. Drinks were cheap, £3 for bottles of beer, Vodka/Coke etc and cocktails only around £6 with the 40% Mon - Wed discount. The cocktails were well made and finished too, we expected the bill to be around £100.but was on £66! We were lucky to get a table straight away as it was busy, I'd recommend booking a table. Will definitely be back next time in Glasgow.

What an absolute gem! Definitely one of the top burger spots in Scotland. Loved the vibe and the service was amazing too. She gave great cocktail recommendations. The portion was massive and the burger was so full of flavour. Would recommend buck on the beach cocktail it is something else. Overall this place is a must visit!!

Just had a fab meal at Buck’s Bar, West Regent St. Love it here! Food was so good! The Chicken and Waffles are amazing. Great atmosphere, vibe and soundtrack! Brilliant staff/team too. 10/10 from start to finish. A well deserved 5 star review!

10/10 food - everything was delicious! Massive variety of dips and hot sauces. Salt & chilli burger, buff chick burger and the classic buttermilk fried chicken pieces were very tasty. Probably the best chicken ive ever had! Triple "S" wings, cocktails, and flamin mac and cheese were so good. Even got a wee donut for my birthday, service was great.

I tried the Nashville chicken with waffle and mac n cheese, it was finger licking good, it's a bit pricy but taste and portion size makes it worth. They do have pretty good cocktails but we settled for cider. It's cozy and viby. Great spot to hangout with friends. They are usually very busy during the weekends and I'd suggest to get a reservation ahead coz the waiting time is pretty long for walk-in

Took on the Bucks Bar 6 hot wing challenge awhile back. Wings were sauced with: 4 x Hot as buck 1 x Da Bomb from @spicinfoods 1 x Last Dab from @hotones The last dab had a noticeable increase in heat but da bomb hit like a train - an extreme burn everywhere in the mouth and lips. It’s what I imagine drinking battery acid is like, probably tastes the same. By the end, there was tears streaming, hiccups, and coughing but I got that certificate 🏆 The Nutella milkshake was lovely and a life saver.

Coming from someone who will only order chicken/chicken burgers when dining out, this is one of the best spots I’ve ever been to. The flavours were fantastic, salt and chilli chips were great, and if you like it spicy there are plenty of options to keep you on your toes along with several hot sauces from around the world to sample. Dan our server was great banter, will be the first place we go when we’re back in Glasgow 👍🏻 100% recommend. Cheers guys.

Been told about this place by a few people and now I know why. The food was amazing an the food is bang on. Flavour all over an the cocktails go down well. I didnt have to wait for a table but that was luck, the place filled quickly an its easy to see why.

Fantastic!!!. The most moist and tender chicken I've ever eaten & the mac'n' cheese was soo creamy and tasty. I also had a 'Nut Job' hard shake and wow... Overall loved this place only problem is the portions are soo big I could hardly walk when I left LOL

We went to bucks bar west regent street yesterday for food and drinks . The food was amazing and we couldn't finish the size of portion we got. We got the salt and chillie burger and chips and chineese curry sauce each and we got a side to share of mac and cheese . The drinks were amazing . I got a twister ice lolly coctail which tasted so refreshing . I would highly recommend booking as it can become very busy . Our waiter was so nice and service was phenomenal . We will deffo be returning hear

Please do not ever change! Chicken burgers are amazing. Fries are amazing. Chicken wings are amazing! (The wings are proper wings, include the drum and the flat part... not like many other places that cut them in half). Atmosphere is amazing.

Amazing chicken burger meal – great food, great prices, and a fantastic atmosphere. Bucks bar is always a must-visit for us whenever we’re in Glasgow. I always come here with my partner and it never disappoints. Consistently delicious food and a really welcoming vibe. Highly recommend!

This chicken spot reminds me of back home in America. I’ve had a few different chicken burgers in Scotland thus far and this place is the only one to truly blow me away. Exceptionally large pieces of chicken with amazing flavor and spice. The breading was crunchy and crispy and very flavorful. Our waiter was attentive and made sure we got what we needed. If i’m ever back in Glasgow i’ll be sure to come back here!

Absolute sweat fest. Had the chicken Kiev and reeked for days. Was a busy Monday night before a gig and the service was great, the order quick, and the food filthy. An easy choice for a solid early doors scran.

Massive delicious chicken burgers with a great variety of flavours & choices. Cool vibe inside & friendly staff. It is out family go to for birthday’s as we all love it. My go to’s are the Buck Mac & the Ninja. I got the King this time round which was so delicious. It’s got a good kick to it if you like spice. I also really love the wings! This time round I tried the buckles but I wasn’t a huge fan. Definitely worth a try. This one is the best branch, I’ve been to the other’s but they’re not even as close as being as good.

The staff here were so lovely. We arrived without a booking and it was very busy but they still found us a table for 40 minutes. Our food came out super fast too which was surprising. I wanted to be adventurous with my order but didn’t like my meal as the combinations didn’t go well together (Mac and cheese and syrup waffles) in my opinion. But my friend loved her meal. I’d definitely go back again and try one of their burgers!

If you want the best fried chicken in Glasgow, go here. I got the Scotsman burger with salt & chili chips and a side of mac'n'cheese. The chicken, literally, melts in your mouth, it's so tender. The chips were full of flavor and the macaroni was actually cheesy (a lot I've had have been bland) and stringy as well. Best chicken place around.

AMAZING food! The Buck mac is incredible! Excellent amount of fries . Very good beers and cocktails. We tried the classic mojito : wonderful. The service is EXCELLENT! They really do a good job. Honestly one of the best quality of service that I’ve experienced. Congrats guys!

A really cool restaurant with great food, good service, and a nice atmosphere. They play rock music in the highly decorated restaurant! I had The King Burger - a large chicken burger with sweet chili jam and satay sauce. The chicken burger is pretty big, it sticks well out of the bun. The flavours of the sauces were a nice combination that worked well together. The waitress was very friendly and the food was served after just 10 minutes even though the restaurant was fairly busy for lunch. Make sure you go to this place hungry because the portions are big. Perfect place to eat before exploring the attractions of Glasgow City center.

Fab food, the chicken is moist and the batter is delicious! The service was super friendly and even accommodated us in getting an extra piece of chicken chopped up for our pup. The atmosphere is relaxed and all about American rock music. Love it! Thanks for a great dinner!

Went to Bucks Bar with a friend and wow! The food is absolutely delicious and you honestly get a lot for your money! Got the Buck Mac burger and the flavor was crazy good and the sauce was just like the Big Mac sauce. Will definitely be going back!

Another amazing hidden gem in Glasgow. Was up for work and went with a colleague and if you didn't know where it was you could walk past. So glad she took me here as food was amazing and so much of it She us gluten intolerant, and they have a whole separate menu for her and so much choice. I had tge buttermilk chicken in southern fried bread crumbs with salt and pepper fries. All I can say is food was amazing and great service and atmosphere, even for a Tuesday night. If you're in Glasgow and want a chilled atmosphere, with amazing food and service, this is for you. And if you like spice try their own hot sauce and it deff is HOT 🔥

Really nice place, the Buff Chick burger with buffalo sauce and blue cheese is excellent. It is very expensive though so not one to go to often, £17 for the chicken burger and chips. Big portions in fairness but the price seems to have shot up.

Husband and I went here for lunch on the 18th October. The food is absolutely delicious. I recommend booking a table in advance to guarantee getting a table (we walked in before the lunchtime crowd came in after 12 noon) Highly recommend.

Phenomenal food from friendly, helpful and attentive staff! Some of the best buttermilk chicken I've ever had!! Their selection of stupidly hot sauces is pretty impressive aswell! Just be careful tho as I had to buy 1 of their excellent milkshakes to cool the mouth down! Certainly be back very soon!

A lively, informal restaurant/bar. Simple, honest food. My chicken burger was really good, and the portion was generous. Very friendly service, too. A really good place to go with mates for a fuss free decent meal.

Absolutely love this place. The chicken is phenomenally good. Beware some of the hotter sauces! I'm biased though, we left the kids' Christmas presents on our table when we left! They phoned us a few minutes later and I was able to get back and get them, so thanks very much for that guys!

I have been here multiple times with my mate and the food is good every time I am there. The staff are really friendly and you can have a laugh with them. The burgers are a tad expensive but they are massive and really tasty so I don't mind that. The salt and chili chips are my favourite just everything is on point. When I leave the restaurant I feel as happy as I go in. PS can you guys please open a restaurant in ayrshire

The food was amazing! I tried the Chicken and Waffles with spicy Mac n cheese. It was deliciously spicy! The burger and fries were also really good. All portion sizes were big and filling. The service was really good! Our waiter was helpful and friendly. We tried a few cocktails as well. They were yummy! Definitely a must go!

Overall good, a few problems... Starting with the good- most of the food was amazing! The chicken was so good! Portion sizes are good for the money, waffles are so big and fluffy. Good atmosphere and staff were great! Drinks were well priced and good, wham bar cocktail was lovely just too much Ice lol. Clean place in general. Now the not so good- the macaroni was so bland we mixed garlic dip through it and added salt to give it some flavour. 2 toilets that we seen of which isn't ideal but I understand this can't really be helped. The worst part for us was because there was only 2 of us we couldn't stay longer than 1hr15mins, we ordered food 15mins into our time slot it came 20mins later, we had 40mins to eat it and we took 30mins to finish, both of us wanted desert and more drinks but felt we couldn't as there was people waiting for our table, it felt rushed and also no seating at the bar so we didn't want to stand and have drinks. I would definitely return but only part of a larger group so I had more time to enjoy my meal and drinks, I feel also a possible solution would be offer a pre order service to those who want it and pay in advance or something as that way smaller groups can have time to eat and get extra drinks or deserts ect.

Booked in for food for a Saturday at 12, pretty busy inside but not full. Food was ok. I got the salt n chilli burger which came with chips (chips are not salt n chilli as you need to pay extra for that). Chucked burger was big but thin and dry and needed the curry sauce you got with the meal. Service was ok but they were hovering around our table trying to take our plates away from the minute we started eating my friend was still chewing and they were taking her plates away. At about 1.05pm we were asked for the table back... apparently you only get 1 hour 15 minutes..which is odd when the food takes at least 25 minutes to arrive. Plus there were a few tables already sat when I arrived and they were not asking for their tables back, maybe it was because they were drinking beer and we weren't. Was ok but won't be back, which is a shame I've wanted to try this place for a long time. I get it's Christmas but being rushed out is not nice in my honest opinion (especially when there are still a few empty tables around.

Sat outside because we didn’t have a reservation (our fault). Got blankets (great). Ordered our drinks and they came relatively quickly (awesome). We then ordered our food and waited 50 minutes out in the cold and were told that they “don’t know where our server went”, finally received our food. Server asked if we needed anything, we said water, then we never saw him again. The food was quite good, but I haven’t experienced worse service in quite some time. Disappointed given how great the other reviews are.

Flamin Mac & Cheese is meant to be Mac and cheese with siracha and fresh chillies. Came looking like mac and cheese with a whole lot of chilli grease/oil, nothing like advertised. Salt and chilli chips soggy. No cutlery provided or napkins. Order was ready quickly after ordering can’t fault that but quality poor.
