COVID REVIEW: We passed by the place the other day and saw that they have replaced Slyder. Having not heard of this new chicken place, I decided to give it a try. I would say that this has been the best chicken sandwich I've tasted by far. The chicken skin is crispy and it gives you that satisfying crunch as you bite it. I loved every bite of it. We ordered the side that has Mac and Cheese, Chicken bits with skin (crunchy too!), and it had fries at the bottom. For $7 with huge servings, I'd say 2 or 3 people can share it. The chicken meal that they have that isn't a sandwich is bomb too! It reminded me of Jollibee's chickenjoy. I now have a new favorite chicken sandwich place. PS. Staff was amazing too.

Ordered the Cluckin' Mac for delivery with a bunch of my Coworkers. And it was so good. Very very filling! I ordered it with the medium spice level which was perfect heat level for me. The Mac and cheese was very good! 🤤 Others ordered the burrito and said it was good too. I definitely want to try that next. Only complaint would be if they could please throw in more condiments in a delivery order. If we ordered for 6 people, atleast throw in the appropriate amount of napkins, forks, sauce, etc. 🍴

This is very spicy chicken so make sure to select the right one. I had the side chick meal with heat level “you can do better” and it was perfect amount of spice for me. My friend had “call mom” and he literally did. 🤣

Most of the time, I feel disappointed by the heat levels at chicken places. unless I get extra hot, and even then sometimes, it's barely spicy. but this place has got the heat down right! I order a mango habanero slider, a Nashville hot tender and fries with a mango passionfruit agua fresca, and it's the best I've had in a long time! the mango mellowed out the habanero, but you could still feel some of the heat. the hot Nashville was the all-star though - it's actually hot! the agua fresca was the perfect drink to counter the savory flavors, too. im definitely coming again. the staff were very attentive and friendly as well!

I was super late picking up my order but pleasantly surprised- the food was still warm and everything tasted amazing! This is the best Nashville hot chicken I’ve had in LA. Best, biggest, pieces of chicken, perfect heat level. Coleslaw and pickles fresh and crunchy and plenty of em. Perfect soft little sando bun. I’ve finally found my “treat myself” chicken sandwich place. (Better than the chicken place that was there before)

The food was really good. I loved the "very hot" chicken sandwich and the "mango habanero" tender. One thing is let the chicken cool down a bit before you dive into it, burned my mouth a bit. Haha. Also the wife and kids loved the smash burgers and their sauce.

Cluck and Smash is really great. The food is good and the service is really good. The people there are very nice and want to make sure they get it right. The atmosphere is very friendly because the people there care. Definitely recommended! I forgot to mention that we were their first customers, and they are terrific!

I ordered a double-double, great portions. Order came out quickly, burger was delicious. The highlight was the fries, well seasoned and incredible flavor profile, with the smash sauce, exactly what I was looking for lunch. So good I forgot to take a picture XD. Staff was very friendly honestly worth a visit. Enjoy!

The chicken sandwich was delicious, the piece of meat was big & extra crispy on the outside but juicy on the inside, extra hot definitely was not hot (for me) but otherwise the sandwich was pretty perfect. The mac & cheese was also really yummy and tasted great. The burrito was okay, didn't have much flavor but it was made well. Staff was nice and the place was clean with some seating inside.

Super hungry and freshly off from two hours at Costco. Been wanting to try this place since it opened. I am a big fan of Dave’s Hot Chicken so this place has to be up to snuff. Came on a Friday at lunchtime, so it was busy from phone orders but due to Covid there was not a lot of people inside. I got the three chicken sliders to play it safe but am a fan of bone in so I will get that next time and update the review. I would have gave it five stars and almost did but the chicken, although very tasty had a small amount of chewy or tough texture. It was a lot of food. I only ended up eating two of the tenders. I got the mild which I was happy I didn’t go hotter because it had a good amount of heat. The fries were decent. Way better than the ones at Dave’s. And the bread was better too’ one nice and thick piece. Over all it was pretty good and I will be going back to try some of the other items. Pretty happy with it!

The thing that was most impressive was the size of the tenders. They were enormous and very filling! I got one with no spicy seasoning and one with a little heat. Both were delicious with a crisp and flaky batter. My only hangup was the fries. They tasted nice but weren't crispy at all. This might have been because of we ordered takeout and it lost its crispiness. Overall a nice dinner!

Not many people when I showed up on Sunday at 3 pm, but I still had to wait about 10 minutes for my food. I'm guessing that's because they were making it fresh. The chicken was fried pretty well - crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. I ate a few bites in the store to try it fresh and took the rest to go. I got the medium spicy, which the friendly worker said has habanero in it (he said the next level up has ghost pepper). I'm a fan of spicy food, and this was just right. The flavor wasn't too intense, but it was a tiny bit sweeter than I would've liked. The sandwich only came with 2 pickles, so I asked for more. Slaw was fine. Standard slaw, not over-dressed, which I appreciated. Overall, it was a good chicken sandwich, but I wouldn't go out of my way to get it again, especially at the price. I could almost get 2 sliders + side at Dave's for the same price.

**REVIEW OF NEW CLUCK & SMASH** This place recently opened up in the old Cluck & Blaze location. Although in a familiar location and familiar decoration the menu and flavors are brand new. Being the first week the employees were still learning the best process but we're friendly throughout the entire process. I ordered the 2 slider combo with one medium and one hot, it came with fries and I got a cup of house sauce on the side. I foolishly ate the hot one first so didn't get an accurate gauge on medium spice level but the hot was just the right amount of kick and they gave plenty of food! Give this new spot a try if you're a fan of hot chicken!

It didn’t even make me sweat. There wasn’t much flavor I had to add more of their comeback sauce which they charge extra for and some honey to make it a decent sandwich without it there really wasn’t much flavor. Also their Mac n cheese was very bland no flavor at all I taste no cheese just noodles. It still was a good sandwich overall but disappointed by the heat. I have to say Dave’s hot chicken is still the best spicy chicken place by far.

I have to say I was expecting it to be way hotter. At first it didn’t seem to have much spice at all but it got spicier as I ate it but it wasn’t too crazy where I’m like wooo that’s hot. It didn’t even make me sweat. I'm currently at the hospital 🏥 Down the street and that's the closest thing walking distance to here. My daughter in-law went to get me and her husband dinner. It was all HORRIBLE 😳🥴🤐 The French fries are super salty with a gang of dollar tree seasoning salt, and my burger smelt between a dirty butt and vomit 🤢‼️ My Son got the buffalo wings that were so undercooked Too chewy to mess with the chicken needed to be cooked more and the sauce is like a bunch of Louisiana hot sauce From Dollar tree Too ‼️ Y'ALL NEED COOKING LESSONS FOR REAL, FOR REAL ‼️ My Food can put you out of business if I was set up around here. Terrible ☹️ and I don't recommend anyone buy your TERRIBLE FOOD it's HORRIBLE and OVER PRICED 👎🏼👎🏽‼️
