Opinions de Regent Coffee Glendale
January 2025: Stopped by for an afternoon coffee ☕ and tried the Ethiopia pour over. I'm a big coffee snob and I thought my Coffee was fantastic! 😋 Temperature was nice and hot. Cocoa, Jasmine, strawberry 🍓 and lime 🍋🟩. I like my coffee with a little Califia farms oat milk and they had it for me. They charged an extra $0.25 for the oat milk. Not too bad. Note that the coffee is on the pricey side ($13.25 for my pour over). Service was friendly and attentive. Will be back again.
Omg, Yes!!! Great coffee shop! Well made coffees! Finally a boutique shop that gets it! Thank you! The bourbon tiramisu latte and bourbon vanilla flat white - chefs kiss
After Porto’s I saw this spot and it was a great place to start off your day. I had a hot matcha latte with honey, a vegan mango coconut chia seed protein snack and a cold brew. The drink was delicious and the vegan snack was phenomenal. The cold brew was descent and had hints of cherry. I’d definitely come back to try their other menu items.
Unique specialty coffee and brews. The bourbon barrel method is an incredible concept for amazing mocktails. This place is a gem in the Glendale area for any specialty coffee lover ☕️ (Managed to try their Cortado, iced americano, and the ‘Bourbon Old Fashion’ cold brew topped with orange peel 🥃 🧊 🍊)
i came for latte art lessons & we had such a great experience! would definitely come back and sign up for labs or private sessions. can’t wait to do it again :) and the instructor was so great, so clear and helpful!
I Like Coffee Because It Gives Me The Illusion That I Might Be Good At Giving Reviews. That said let’s begin this roaster review. Regent Coffee is a local coffee roaster that produce exceptional quality drinks. They are located on Brand ave in Glendale. They have coffee and tea drinks as well as specialties. Similarly, they offer a limited pastries. Indoor seats are nonexistent albeit they have front outdoor seats with a fantastic street view. We came on a warm-98 degree-afternoon to quench our thirst. We were perfunctorily greeted by a tall female (with pink highlight hair) staff. I perused their menu and ordered a Burundi Cold Brew ($7.50) x 1/2 & 1/2 milk. I was desirous of having refreshing drink at this shop, and they did not disappoint. My CB was really smooth, full, and perfectly sweetened with slight hint of Mango fruit. Prices matched the quality of their coffee drinks. Service was good. Staff were affable with compendious knowledge of coffee making. Vibe was positive. Overall, as a first time customer I liked my cold brew and had a pleasant order experience. I highly recommend you visit.
This place is such a gem. It’s obvious they take pride in their craft. Their menu rotates and their seasonal were all super creative. I was indecisive and I got a lot of patient explanation and suggestions. Super happy with my choice of a bourbon tiramisu dream. Gorgeous presentation and tasty (which is the point). It shows great attention to detail. Cold brew and other single origin beans are available. This place has the perfect local LA vibe. Will be swinging by again.
This is my favorite coffee shop in Glendale. I LOVE the barrel vanilla flat white. The way they age their coffee gives it such a delicious unique flavor different than every other copy paste coffee shop in LA. This has become my regular go to spot: highly recommended
Fantastic!!! It’s by far the best gourmet specialty coffee beans I’ve ever tried, and I have tried many! It doesn’t get any fresher as they roast their own coffee in-house. Most roast dates are a day or two from the day you picked them up or the shipping date. I’m so happy that I discovered this place. For all of the coffee enthusiast who are into exotic specialty coffee, this is top-tier stuff, and everyone is super friendly and helpful at the shop.
Best coffee in the neighborhood ♡ hands down! And we’re from Portland ! 👏🏻
Excellent coffee brewing and coffee roasting. Friendly and knowledgeable staff too!
I've visited many, many coffee shops in LA and Regent Coffee is one of my favorites, probably the most underrated one in LA's coffee scene. Regent's specialty is their barrel aged coffee. Their beans were chosen with profiles that coordinate with whiskey, and aged in Bourbon barrels before small batch roasting. The result is delicious single origin coffee with a unique whiskey profile. In particular, Regent makes cold brew and bottles it to be consumed at home. I am never a big fan of cold brew, but I keep stocking up Regent's cold brew for its nuanced and rich flavor and of course, the convenience. Whiskey also perfectly summarizes Regent's characters: classic, low key, understated, its complexity requires some patience and maturity to appreciate. Regent doesn't have fancy signature drinks and the store looks old school compared to many airy, chic new shops. It focuses on the most essential coffee experience and does it excellently. All one needs to do is to look beyond the looks. Behind the coffee bar, more than half of the shop space is dedicated to coffee making. There is a roaster, a couple of American oak barrels, a bottling station, a huge fridge, a cold brew drip tower, and maybe a siphon coffee maker somewhere too? Regent's owner Leon told me that's one of his favorite ways to make coffee. Leon and his wife Di are two of the purest coffee people I've met. Leon left the banking world to open his own coffee shop. He studies and experiments coffee like a lab science, rather than a business. Every time I chat with him, I am inspired by his earnest pursue for quality, consistency and originality. It's always a pleasure to have coffee served by such wonderful people.
Visiting specialty coffee shops is a hobby of mine, and the barrel-aged coffee from here might be my overall favorite out of hundreds of shops I have visited over the years, around the world. We visited months ago and I still think about the coffee at Regent. The flavor is so memorable and delicious. The cold brew with the foam was my favorite. The beans are on the pricey side, but not by that much - the bags contain 340 grams instead of the typical 200 grams, so per gram it’s similar to other specialty coffees.
Regent has been intriguing to me for a while now and I’m glad I got to try it. The drinks are very solid and I want to come back and try more of their unique signatures. Vibes were good for grab and go. Want to try York location next!
This place has the best coffee I’ve ever tried in California. The flavor is rich and perfectly balanced. Every cup feels like it’s made with care and expertise. Highly recommended for true coffee lovers!
What many good coffee shops do is give you good coffee, friendly staff, and a place to sit. Regent does all of that and gives you an unforgettable experience! I’ve never had a more flavorful espresso tonic. So complicated yet easily understandable. Their concoctions are carefully and skillfully crafted to give you something you’ve not had elsewhere. For that, they get my seal of approval. I had the Lavender Bourbon Buzz and it is delightful. Really deep espresso flavor with hints of bourbons from the retired bourbon barrels they used, all tied together with a dried lime wedge. I feel like a new world has been opened to me.
Amazing! We go here often almost twice a week. Staff are friendly and coffees/matcha are great! I loved the strawberry matcha but I think it’s seasonal so they haven’t had it for awhile 🥲. Only negative is that they don’t have indoor seating but great for a quick coffee stop.

My favorite places to get coffee in Glendale. The coffee is legit great and prices fair. The inside is small, cozy, and efficient (and no loud music blasting at you!). Its busy at all the normal times but there is never really a wait. Best thing: The owner(s) & staff are always welcoming and happy to answer any questions you may have. Large variety of coffee available and the selection is constantly changing (and again, they'll help you if have questions).
Great spot with even better coffee. So far the best coffee shop I’ve been to in the area. Their espresso and pour over were top tier. Definitely making this a stop when I’m in the area.
yup, I love it. great tasting coffee + tasty snacks. I love their pistachio chia seed protein pudding. (yea, I know). I wish they had a spot to work on your laptop for a few hours!

I loved my Vanilla Latte with almond milk. It was sweet (I asked for extra Vanilla... I have a sweet tooth) and delicious. My son had a Watermelon cortado (I think that's what it was called) and loved it. Great place.
The coffee at regent is good. But the value is awful ( didn’t used to be). For $7 I can go to cafecito in Atwater or la mill in silverlake and get a cold brew of equal quality and price but instead of the 10oz sippy cup I get at regent I can get a 20-24 oz big boy cup. The only reason I go back to regent is because it’s a walkable distance to me and the single origin beans they roast are excellent.
