Opinions de Angelo's Glendora
They have really good food 😋
Typical fast food menu, but their food has exemplary taste and quality. This place stands above the rest.
They have a good price for a decent amount of food. Last time I ordered the malts, they tasted creamy and delicious. I would strongly recommend the large chili cheese fries if you want to feed a family of 4, they give you a LOT. I like the fries, because of their size however they skimp on the salt sometimes. I recommend getting the quesadilla to fill you up for a quick bite and not too bad of a taste, but be warned they have a lot of grease.
Food is good. The family burger meal is a good deal
The cashier Lesley was very quick to correct a mistake I made while ordering! She quickly made me the burrito I had wanted in the 1st place and even refunded me the differance in price between the two items! Service was great, food was delicious, 10/10 would recommend!
I just had the best burger ever in my entire life!!! 😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋
Had the cheeseburger with avocado and bacon!! Delicious! Previously, I have tried the pastrami and this also was really good. Go to your Covina magazine get your coupon NOW and try this place. This place is big in the O.C. but we have one here in Glendora off of Grand. Great Place to try and come back to!!
Angelo's always has our back. During this unprecedented time we have been faithful customers and enjoy returning even if the wait may be a bit lengthy at times. Don't let that discourage you. My tree teenagers have plenty to choose from which is the absolute best. Oh and if you are one of the lucky ones to try their Pineapple shake it is delicious.(machine sometimes is off or not functioning)
We have been loyal customers of Angelo's Diner for some years, since before the Pandemic, even. Though their menu has been downscaled quite a bit after being purchased by the Fantastic brand, they still offer a good selection.
I haven't been here in years, but was getting my car repaired nearby and walked over for breakfast. The breakfast deal they have is simply outstanding. The food was delicious! I cleared the whole plate. I would highly recommend coming here for great value and delicious food. They even made my hoity toity wife avocado toast at her request.
Haven't had a good tasting burger in awhile lots good flavor
Delicious Salads, juicy meaty 🍔 Burgers and the Fries are lightly Crunchy and Soft in the Middle and not Oily. Lots to choose from but hooked these 😁.
Excellent food! Not just another burguer,, but a great one!! Fresh squeezed orange.juice!
We’ve been eating here often these past few weeks. Their burgers are the best in town and the breakfast burritos are amazing! The staff is helpful and friendly! Ask to try their bbq sauce and the chipotle sauce!
Love coming here for breakfast special.. but the hamburger is awesome too !! You’ll enjoy
Love the new menu plus the staff are nice.
The presentation of the meal was 5 Star. I love it when a restaurant takes pride in their work and genuinely wants feedback to better their service. The food looked and tasted GREAT!
The food was very delicious and I liked how the food was cook and made as well nice jobs. 👏 👍
Everything is brand NEW here. It's Excellent.
Food was bomb omg try this place!!
Angelo's is my go-to for breakfast drive-thru. The pricing is good and the food is delicious. I'd like to ding them a star for dropping their very tasty gravy, but that doesn't seem fair with all of the problems these days with supply chain. Portion sizes beat what you will see at other places in town, too (except on fries - The Hat beats everyone there). A great selection, the lunch/dinner food options are also solid. The chicken burrito, cheeseburgers, and surprisingly strong pastrami sandwiches are also good bets. Enjoy!
The pastrami burger was delicious and juicy. Fried are crispy and salted just right. It's a small and a little older building. It's not fancy but the food is great.
I've been going here for 25 years. Food here is consistently delicious. Their three meat breakfast burrito is the best I've ever had
Used the drive thru. I've loved their burgers for years now. Can't describe them, you just have to taste one. Nothing really fancy; some shredded lettuce, some sauce, and I always get the chilies, but very tasty. I've only ever purchased the burger combos from there so I can't tell you about anything else.
I went here for the first time a few months ago and have been coming back every couple weeks. I have been slowly working through the lunch menu and am happy everytime. Staff is friendly, prices are decent and the food is really good. I recommend the tuna melt. It's also one of the few places around that has Orange Bang.
Wow. I've been meaning to leave this place a review and I'm glad I did since I'm shocked to see how low their stars are. I've been coming here for about 5 months now. This is absolutely the best breakfast burrito in town. Grand burger is tastless and overrated. I usually get the Avocado mushroom burrito and just add protein so I can get more veggies. I tried the bacon but didn't like it (too salty), but the sausage/chorizo is great. Their Chipotle sauce is really good. The French toast is also delicious. Give this place a shot. It's a great quick pit stop if you're short on time and need to order out. The owner is a really nice guy. Service is fast and restrooms/tables are clean.
The food is delicious and the service is phenomenal! Thanks for the great customer service. Started the rainy day with a burrito and great vive
Loved the food everything I ate was delicious had not had a burger like this one the onion rings and the service was the best, every burger place I go too never get this kind of service
The Chili Cheese fries are incredible. I've tried almost everything on the menu, and it's the best diner around.
Had the Final Boss Burger today, absolutely amazing. Amazing service and people
Everything is delicious at Angelo's. Everything is always well prepared. Breakfast burritos are huge, orange juice is fresh and squeezed at time of order. Burgers are super delicious. My favorite is their western cheese burger. Chili fries are on excellent as well. Great community gem. Don't pass this place up
The new owner is doing everything right. Upgraded the food quality, great food portions for reasonable prices. He is aware the previous owners tanked the place and he has an uphill battles to convince former customers to come back. It Angelo's a try. You will not be disappointed.
We only discovered this little gem a few months ago and we are very happy we did, the customer service is excellent, they remember us and are so friendly. And everything we have eaten there is especially yummy, and the pastrami is to die for. Hat's off to you!
Good food with great prices. Ordered a bacon and sausage burrito to go over the phone when I arrived they stated they heard ham and sausage. They made me another burrito that I ordered and very quickly at that. Great service! Very extensive menu as well. There's something for everyone!
Still awesome after decades in business. When I lived in Glendora I used to stop for breakfast on occasion at Angelo's. The sausage and egg breakfast burrito was amazing. I had the opportunity to stop by Angelo's for breakfast while visiting family over the holiday. They were hopping busy for breakfast. Angelo's still makes an amazing breakfast burrito. Well worth a stop if you are in town.
This place is one of the best eateries in town! The owner and his coworkers are probably the most courteous and friendly you will encounter. What I like the best is the mini funkos the owner places all over his shop: he certainly has a taste of the stratosphere, I love it!
Some of the best pastrami chili cheese fries of my life. The all-meat chili is cumin-y, slightly spicy, meaty, and super flavorful. Lots of cheese. Good fries. Thinly sliced pastrami, thrown onto the grill for a caramelized char. 10/10, drove a far distance for it and would do it again.
My first time there ordered the patty melt with onion rings. Omg super good. Not greasy or falling apart. The onion rings not greasy they had a great season taste. I live in whittier I'd go again just to eat there. So worth it. Thank you. Service was great with a smile.
Food was very good just pricey. No kids menu so $almost $20 to get ny toddler chicken strips. Fresh squeezed orange juice was very good. $5 for about 12 Oz cup.
The food was phenomenal! My order was missing an item and the kindness I received when I went back was outstanding . Thank you to the gentleman that helped me this evening.
This place is an absolute hidden gem Absolutely insanely good food and service for CHEAP This place doesn't look it but hides quality that is lacking in the food industry now days A must try for sure
Angelo, where have you been all my lite? I don't even have a picture to add to this because I inhaled my bacon breakfast burrito before I could even snap a pic of the most delicious breakfast burrito I have ever consumed in my entire 30 years of living. The tall man in the window (Angelo, is that you?) gave us our sauces and explained each one, and then blessed us with the most delicious chimichurri that has ever graced my tastebuds. Today was already a good day, and now it's a great one. I'll be spending the rest of my day reflecting on each bite I took and dreaming of my next visit. Thank you Angelo, you're one of the great ones. 1000/10
Was passing thru on our way up to Oak Glen this past weekend. Stumbled onto this small burger joint. But were pleasantly surprised with the variety of choices...from Sandwiches, Breakfast, Mexican, and of course burgers. Service was very fast and the quality of everything we had was very 👍 👍 Even the presentation of food on the plates was top notch. Our table had hash brown and eggs, sausage and eggs, chicken burrito and one of the best burgers ever had with fries. The owner or manager was so kind that he gave us some delicious made from scratch onion rings and zucchini sticks on the house! We live over 2hrs from Glendora and was our first time eating at Angelos but definitely not the last time!
I gotta admit, when I showed up here I was expecting your run of the mill burger joint, but to my surprise, the food here is top notch! I got a double burger combo, presentation was unexpected, served on a fancy plate, fries were piping hot, burger patties seemed like formed by hand not typical frozen patties. Bun super soft. with tax, price was like 16 bucks which is super competitive compared to the big chain joints. Don't pass this place by, you wont be disappointed. Also, dude behind counter super welcoming and chill.
My husband and I just stopped by and wanted to try something new. Angelos did not disappoint! The owner and crew welcomed us as we walked in and they sold us on the mushroom burger and the hand breaded made to order crispy chicken sandwich. All the ingredients were fresh and the food tasted like it was made with love and dedication. Don’t let the old bones of the restaurant fool you it’s a great spot to have a meal. They also have a drive thru.
Went on the recommendation of my dining companion for a quick lunch. The service was great, quick, and friendly. Our orders arrived quickly and correctly. I ordered the pastrami burger combo. As you may know from my other reviews, I am a bit of a pastrami aficionado. The pastrami was good, much better than I expected from a burger place, but still not top shelf. On a burger it was perfect. This burger was everything you could want from a small burger joint. Sorry, no picture. I was too hungry and tucked right into it. It was thick and juicy and like heaven on a bun. You know it’s good when you can’t let go of it once you pick it up for fear it will all fall apart and the juices run down your arms. It was all that! Great dill slices to complement the pastrami. Yum!!! I would definitely get this again. My dining companion had the BLT, which was also good. Plenty of bacon and the rest of the ingredients in proper balance. I was tempted to knock the atmosphere score down a point because there is a lot of obvious deferred maintenance. In reconsidering I decided that all that just added to the classic burger joint atmosphere and let you know everything was so good the place has lasted for decades. Thus isn’t a white tablecloth type of place. It is a place where they know how to make a great burger.
I came here a couple years ago and the visit was less than memorable but I just returned for the first time today and it was a completely different experience. I can tell the people here are passionate about what they do and the food did not disappoint. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak burger and it was delicious along with the fries. The wagyu beef patty was delicious and their spicy ketchup was excellent and I can’t wait to be back soon.
I love their chili cheese fries and pastrami melt with their chipotle sauce. I’m a repeat customer ever since new management took over. They’re very welcoming and the service is always great. They add a few new things to their menu sometimes. I’d say give it a go! Oh, and I saw them give some kids an option of picking out some Pokemon cards. That was sweet.
Absolutely incredible place. Felt welcomed as soon as we walked in. Service was impossibly fast! And that burger was one of the best burgers I've had in YEARS. Do not pass this place up!! (Recommend the Western Bacon Cheeseburger + Tater Tots)
Stopped in for a quick breakfast with a friend. The service was top notch employees and owner went over and beyond to make sure we had what we needed. Refilled coffee when needed. The establishment was recently acquired by a new owner so I know he is making changes to update the dining area however that doesn’t take away from the quality of the food. Everything is served beautifully and is equally delicious and fresh we will be back for lunch. Heard he has the best chicken sandwich.
Loved this place. Went there the other day. Service was great. I wasn't sure what to order because everything looked so good. But they help figure out what my pallet wanted. They treated my family good. Good prices, great food. Writing this reminds me of the place. I'm going there now, lol.
Angelo’s Burger on Route 66 in Glendora is officially BACK — and under new ownership, they are not playing around. I ordered the LA Steak Burger and wow… this thing is basically a Philly cheesesteak and a smashed Wagyu-style burger had a baby. Juicy, flavorful patty, perfectly seasoned steak, melty cheese, all stacked on a soft toasted bun. Every bite was messy in the best way possible. Straight comfort food. And don’t sleep on the sides. The zucchini and onion rings are handmade and you can taste the difference. Super fresh, crispy, not greasy, and that crunch is on point. You can tell they’re putting real effort into quality. Love seeing a Route 66 classic getting new life. If you’re in Glendora and craving a legit burger, Angelo’s needs to be on your list.
The best burgers in Town! If you want fresh ingredients and quality food, go to Angelo's. My husband and I always get a cheese burger combo with zucchini fries ( which are so delicious) and a fresh squeeze orange juice. This time my husband wanted to try the breakfast option and he loved it. The quality of the burgers are so good and very easy to customize. We normally dine in for a quick brunch date lol but the quality is still the same for take-out. The employees are beyond amazing and friendly. The owner is always there greeting and working behind the counter to ensure each guest is treated with respect. You can truly tell that they put their hearts into this business and I would highly recommend going here.
Got told about this place by a co worker and I've got to say. Much better than the hat or in and out. Id call it a sleeper burger place as it's not mainstream but it has its strength in its food. I ordered a double cheeseburger combo for $18 and it was amazing. Normally I'm not one to finish my Fry's but the chorizo taste on them brought me back to my younger days. All I know is I'm definitely coming back for more. I need to try the shake. Edit: had the shake, it was amazing. It's not a premix powder but actual ice cream and milk. While I sat inside, the drive thru has a great sounding speaker.
We heard it had new owners so we checked it out. The burgers were so good! Well cooked, juicy and delicious! The owner has been there the three times I've gone and he was super friendly and is very proud of his food and service. This will definitely be our go to spot for burgers. Also I'm not normally a tater tots person but here get the tots. They are seasoned and are so good!
The name says Angelo's and I thought it still was. Angelo's is a a staple of the city, but these guys at Fantastic are doing something different. Situation: Bad, everything bad; nothing is good. My truck was having a not so fantastic time, but the burger I just had was definitely just that, fantastic. Food: On type beat Smashburger type grandma crunch doilies type frills on the burger, excellent. Value: Fantastic Same price for a burger and a drink as an in n out #1 with animal fries, but in n out is no contender for this burger. - Double cheese burger no lettuce, GGnore.
First time here and ordered a regular burger combo...I was GREATLY surprised on the seasonings added to the fries in a small square dish that had parsley/oregano flakes in it...WOW...Sooooo delicious...then came what looked and tasted like a high end restaurant burger...EQUALLY delicious...all topped with friendly acknowledged service and I gave this a FULL 5 star rateing...nothing like this in the 91766 area code...will be back to try different items on their menu when money and time allows...GREAT WORK TO ALL EMPLOYEES THIS NIGHT...YOU GUYS ROCK!!!not to mention everything tasted FRESH...especially the dill pickle slice(s)...
Their spicy crispy sandwich is unmatched. Today I got offered to add hot honey sauce to the sandwich and from the first bite it was euphoric. Definitely recommend
Haven't been here in a long time. The food was so good and the staff was super friendly. I got the Western cheeseburger, which was so delicious! I loved their seasoned fries! My son loved their chicken tenders combo. Overall a great experience and definitely will be back!
Good solid drive-thru. They recently changed up the menu to be more of a burger place, but their burritos are always really good, too. There are a lot of new employees there now, too, who unfortunately don't hook it up like the old ones used to, but it's still cool.
Stopped by to grab breakfast for myself and other family members. Good breakfast burritos and more. Usually a decent line of cars, which is always a good sign the food is consistently good. I'll be back. I didn't see any vegan options but did see a vegetarian burger.
Steak Sandwich is $18.00 ! But know what ? It's worth it.
Very tasty. Nice prices I ate for 8:85.
Your typical local burger spot with a twist. The twist? They use way better than average ingredients in their food. The food quality is great and presentation is better than you normally get for a burger spot. They genuinely want their customers to enjoy the food they make.
I used to eat here frequently. However, not so much anymore. They stopped honoring their coupons and I had a couple of incidents with rude cashiers. The food is okay. I like the chili fries and salads. The steak sandwich was tough and difficult to eat. The pastrami isnt great either. It's an okay place. Inconsistent portions
Unfortunately their food quality has dropped a lot. Sunday we went for breakfast food at lunch time. Now I know everyone is short handed and I try to be patient and I was even though it was 35 minute wait. Then, to get home to find my daughters Avocado sandwich was literally mayonnaise and lettuce! No Avocado or egg! What is that. Tried calling and the phone just rang. My son's breakfast burrito was super mushy and very little inside. My burrito wasn't too bad and it was correct. Unfortunately after many years we'll have to say goodbye.
I really want to love this place, but I can't get over how everything (burgers & breakfast food) smells like old oil/grease smoke. Otherwise its a clean spot, and solid employees. I'll try it for a 4th time in a month or so & update.
Just OK. The new zucchini wasn't very good. Had zero flavor. The presentation was nice, so we were disappointed. It's not the same ranch either.
Regular mom and pop style burgers. But $26 for a combo (burger, side and drink) is way too much.
Glad this place changed owners the previous owner was cold, not customer service friendly. I like to get my Bean & Cheese Burrito fix here easy cheese, easy onions ( FRESH COOKED BEANS FROM SCRATCH, FRESH MADE HOUSE SALSA). Appropriately the customer friendly owner likes to chat with customers about the importance of fresh prepared ingredients. Service is faster than Grand Burger. On a recent visit I bought a side Small Onion Rings quite frankly I was impressed. The fresh tasty onion rings were not simply served in a tray and or stuffed in a bag They Were Served In A Container LIGHTLY Sprinkled With Parmesan Cheese and Parsley 🌿 clearly this is a sign THE NEW AND IMPROVED ANGELOS IS A BETTER VERSION of the ole stale place! Onward to NEW Angelos! 02/28/2026
Excruciatingly slow. The food is good, seasoned well but the amount of time it takes to order, plus the time it takes for them to meet you at the window to take payment and then the additional time spent waiting on food is crazy. Been living in Glendora for over 8 years and I’ve only been able to stomach the wait 3-4 times. Today was my last time giving this joint a chance.
First time going to this burger place. food lacked flavor and portions are small. We ordered cheeseburgers and chilie cheese fries. Unfortunately I’ll be my last time
this is based on taste: I ordered a grilled chicken salad for lunch(drive thru). When I got back to the office, ready to devour my lunch, I noticed a breakfast-y smell...took a bite of the chicken and it tasted "off" -sweet and not what I was expecting. I asked one co-worker to taste, she refused (took note that I should NOT start off with "this doesn't taste right, taste it") asked another....they stated that it tasted more like sausage than chicken....so, I sat there munching away on my (Ranch drenched-I really liked their Ranch) lettuce, I concluded that the grill must not have been properly (if at all) cleaned after breakfast and thus giving my lunch this "breakfast-y" taste. I'm not so crazy about breakfast, so, I rate this visit low because I ordered a grilled CHICKEN salad not a grilled sausage infused chicken salad....maybe this could be a thing for breakfast people? But not me :-(
I went for breakfast today I wasn't very happy with it you have to put your own butter on your toest that's ridiculous I like my toest with melted butter I don't think I'll be going there anymore new owner suck
I stopped for a shake. I ordered and waited approx fifteen minutes for my order. Then after leaving and trying to drink it I couldn't. The cheap straws they use can't handle the thickness of the shake. The shake was great but don't bother trying to use a straw.
Was looking forward to trying this place as it is now under new management. I've tried it twice, long story short less product higher price. The food quality is on par with what's Angelo's used to be in their hay day. For the price there are better options locally. Burger was good, but average. Combo was more costly, and the quality/quantity of food didn't seem to justify the price. Went back to give them a second try, since breakfast burritos used to be one of the best in town. Unfortunately that's come to an end. Previously breakfast burritos were packed with potatoes, eggs, meat of your choice and pico. The burritos were a great buy for the price, now you get the burrito pictured below and it's more expensive.
I was really disappointed with my BLT because the bacon seem to be extremely old as well as the bread. I feel like all of the items were pre-made and sitting under a heat lap because it took less than 90 seconds to get through the drive-thru with all of my items. I will say the french fries were fresh.
Worlds slowest drive through!!!! Clean out your staff or hire more people. I would come here much more often if it was faster. I’ll come every few months and forget how slow the drive through is and then stop going that’s how bad it is. There will be 2-3 cars in line in front of you and you’ll be in the drive through line for 30 minutes at the least not exaggerating. If you have time to kill and like waiting in a drive through like it’s a restaurant this is the place to go . This applies to all times of day breakfast/lunch/dinner
Sad to say but today was the last time we go to Angelo's. Got 1 burrito and 1 breakfast sandwich and the total was a little over $24. Quality is down, Quantity is down yet prices are up. Well, it was good while it lasted. On to the next spot.
So. I order at drive thru, get to the window, pay , am asked to pull forward, as is the car behind me, he gets his order first, I get mine several minutes later minus the yellow chili's I asked for. I don't know who showed them how to bag the food, but when I take my cheeseburger out, first of all, it is poorly wrapped and sideways in the bag, so you can image, the burger falls apart, lettuce & onions everywhere, if I wanted salad fries I would have ordered them. How can I give them a good review. Two thumbs down. : (
1 star worst experience in all of glendora san dimas or la Verne. Food is good experience was bad. My wife loves breakfast burrito but won't eat eggs.. we substitute beans for eggs. I've now tried all breakfast burritos in all of covina glendora laverne and san dimas. Angelo's was the ONLY one who made a deal about switch eggs for beans.. it's so easy and beans are so cheap yet Angelo's charged extra $5 to swap eggs for beans. And this was during that egg shortage when they were really expensive . It clearly says in the menu no substitutions it is there policy. And it's their business and there choice. I think it's a terrible choice. The breakfast burrito was $15 for sausage and beans. I won't go back.
First off they need to stop serving old stale cold fries. It doesn’t taste great and isn’t very tasty. It’s terrible. I don’t know why they don’t understand that when they serve their chili cheese fries they keep putting old fries. this is the second time in the past two months that they did this to me what a way to loose customers I never see a line anymore must be bad service So my daughter bought some chili cheese fries and boy they were so spicy my tongue was burning for 20 minutes and the fries were old and hard and literally cold. They gave you a small tray but it says it’s a large, but it looks like a small tray, and it wasn’t even filled such a disappointment. Definitely did not get the moneys worth and using old fries in your chili cheese fries it’s disgusting. How are you supposed to keep customers if you keep doing stuff like this
I ordered a cheeseburger special with a large coke-- it was almost $16. The fries were fresh but had no salt. The burger itself had no flavor. The meat tasted bland and so was the sauce on the burger. Everything about it was unsatisfying, but I ate it because $16 is a lot of money to throw away. I will never spend my money here again when I know I can go elsewhere and get something so much more worth my money.
Came on September 3 at 7:55pm girl that took my order with a light blue shirt was very rude just snatched my card out my hand wasn’t polite at all then I get home and my order is wrong
I've enjoyed there food for a long time, but last several times, their service has been horrible. I placed an order for a plain cheese burger (just meat & cheese) for my son. What I got was everything else; except the meat and cheese. I called and asked to speak with a supervisor and was informed there was none at this time. I spoke with a Liz, who was unapologetic about the whole ordeal. With all the other options out there, one would think an establishment would strive on their service to maintain their clientele. What a shame!
Have to revise my edit. This place has gone down. Ordered large Zuchini sticks and a burger on its own. And they put the burger inside the box of zucchini fries. It reduced the already small amount of zuchini sticks they put inside of it. The large box only had a quarter of sticks. I feel like I was scammed. Not a fan, and not going back. Try Super Toms down the street.
1/3/2024 I was given a free side of ranch. There was clear liquid at the top and ranch on the bottom. I think it was saliva. I wouldn’t purchase food here.
