Very good service, despite being very busy. The manager is awesome, and gave me an extra biscuit, extra fries, and 2 extra strips for the wait. Now that is customer service!

I took my daughter to pick her mobile order of blackened tenders. The cashier, Nathan, at the drive thru said they weren't quite done, but to wait a few minutes in the parking lot. He came out in about 3 minutes with the order and gave us 2 apple pies since we were patient. We will continue with this location.

New place, very clean. Service was very fast, the order was ready before I was finished pouring my soda lol. However, my companion's order was wrong. We chalked it up to the staff still learning the ropes. The food itself was hot and tasty, I'm glad to have a Popeyes nearby now.

I've gone to multiple Popeyes and they always forget something but this one I received everything, and the drive thru staff was nice and friendly. I stopped going to Popeyes bc of the bad services but I will return to this one.

I park my bus right in front of the restaurant and its perfect! I get a warm greeting when I walk in and its appreciated. Everytime I come in here I FEEL like they want and appreciate my business. My food is always delicious. Thank you for taking care of me. I will definitely keep coming back.

I'd like to start off by saying that I am a BIG Popeyes Spicy Chicken Tenders fan so I couldn't wait to get my hands on their new Spicy Chicken Sandwich. Don't get me wrong the sandwich is good but I guess I my expectations were way too high. Updated 10/20 This update should have been posted earlier this year. I eventually went back to try their Classic or regular (not spicy).... and man o man is this an awesome sandwich. I’ve tried that Chic fil A sandwich and it comes no where close to Popeyes chicken sandwich. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE CLASSIC Chicken Sandwich.

I am not sure if it was worth the hype and social buzz, but now that there are no lines I actually tried it. Not bad for a $4 fast food chicken sandwich. Better than #HateChicken at least.

Always a good meal but sometimes NOT just at this location but all the chicken has an oil flavor. Like KFC has a spice flavor and Popeyes has an oil flavor TO ME. I still really enjoy it because that can be covered with sauce. And at this location the staff is always so nice and friendly. Answered my random questions .

When it comes to fried chicken, Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen restaurant is simply unbeatable. The courteous staff recommended the tasty chicken platter (you can choose how many pieces you like) that comes with your choice of mild or spicy chicken, two sides, a dinner roll and super sized drink. For sides, I picked the homestyle mac n cheese, pairing it with the mashed potatoes with Popeyes delicious home recipe gravy. The chicken wasn't greasy like many fast food chicken eateries and was simply scrumptious with its own brand of Cajun flavor. Another yummy plus is Popeyes is the only restaurant with Hawaiian Punch on fountain, giving your visit a picnic like experience. I love coming to Popeyes Chicken with that great Cajun flavor!

Best location I've ever tried! We drive all the way from DTLA bc the ones closer to us are nowhere near as delicious as here. The customer service is also the best! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 been a fan of their chicken sandwich for a while now and will continue to come 🥰🥰🥰 sad they don't have the popcorn shrimp but this other option was ok too.

Finally found the perfect opportunity to go to Popeye's and try their famous chicken sandwich. Meaning that I initially planned to go to in and out next door but noticed the drive-thru line at the adjacent Popeyes only had three cars lined up which is unheard of over the past six months. Got my food in about 10 minutes after arriving at the Drive-Thru. Boy oh boy was it delicious. You can't beat the price for a chicken that thick. I'll definitely be back for more. 😈👌

I ordered mashed potatoes with gravy on the side.I double checked before I left and the mashed potatoes had gravy on them so I went inside and the girl at the counter was very nice she apologized for the mistake.She gave me some fresh mashed potatoes and asked if I wanted to take home the other mashed potatoes with gravy because they would just throw them away.I don't understand why they couldn't give them to the homeless instead of throwing it away.

The strips were hot and fresh just how they should be. My order was correct so nothing to complain about. Overall a good experience.

The fries and biscuits was cold, beans and rice warm otherwise the food is good.

Ordered 6 piece chicken nugget with coleslaw. Food was very good. They have a very small parking lot with very little parking. People take advantage of the drive through. Restaurant clean, staff busy, cashier friendly and helpful.

It's okay, i prefer the bite sized chicken and shrimp that you can dip into the sauces. Only problem is that I ordered one time for honey musturd boneless chicken wings and instead I got a regular one so make sure to check if your order is right.

I have always had a positive experience. The reason why one star was deducted is because one of the lady associate's sleeve was touching the thongs that were used to handle chicken pieces. Also, the same person was picking up fries dropped by herself on the counter, then placing those inside a customer's order box. These are sub-par sanitary practices and must be avoided to adequately prevent foodbourne illnesses.

Actually a very pleasant experience. The spicy chicken strips are almost as good as Raising Cane's, at half the price. I like Cane's sauce better, but the honey mustard isnt bad, and you cant get the popcorn shrimp, and all those sides at Cane's.

A lot better than KFC, CHICK FIL-A and CANE'S. Every time I come here and get their chicken it is always fresh, flavorful and on point! Their battered and seasoning they use has so much flavor, really they have no competition when it comes to chicken. Their chicken thighs,legs breasts and wings are a lot bigger than all the others. Portion wise on their sides too they hook it up and yes fresh as well. Price wise too very reasonable compare to the others. I do both either dine in or take out. The place is always clean inside and out. The reason for the 4 stars and not 5 is do to their customer service it's a hit or miss here, some are friendly and helpful especially inside, the drive through staff not so. Other than that good spot for some fried chicken!

Update 12/17/24 First time actually ordering via app and picking up at drive thru. Chicken is still very tasty and service was a little slow but friendly. I had to wait a bit to the side, but thought if it’s for fresh hot chicken vs stale cold chicken, it would be worth the wait. App was pretty easy to use and gave me options for a special I wasn’t aware of. Went for a two piece meal and ended up with an extra three pieces of chicken for $5 more dollars. Five pieces of chicken, Cole slaw and biscuits for about $13 wasn’t a bad deal. Will be back for more next time I’m craving fried chicken. —— Second time ordering delivery from this location and twice has been spot on. I can’t say the spicy chicken sandwich is worth waiting in line for, but was pretty good, especially when delivered by Grubhub. That was my last order, so I will get to this one. GH was offering a $10 promo with free delivery, so why not. I wasn’t ready for fried chicken the day of the promo, so I scheduled for lunch the next day (pro tip and news to me, but I tried it and it worked!). Ordered for next day around 12:15 and order arrived around 12:05 which was perfect. I thought I needed the buffer from meetings, but it ended on time and I was hungry. Delivery driver followed drop off instructions and even let me know he was running early via chat. 5 stars. As for the food, it was hot and fresh! Three piece spicy chicken with mash potato and gravy was spot on. Nice and crunchy outer layer and moist tender inside. 5 piece tenders with mash potato and gravy also had huge pieces and was moist and tender inside with crunchy skin/batter out. There was one smallish piece at the bottom but wasn’t a big deal. I did try and order 3 spicy and 2 mild, but they all tasted the same. Not sure if it’s an app issue or human error, but nothing a little hot sauce can’t fix. 2 piece hot honey chicken with red beans and rice. I really didn’t know what it was or what made it different but it seemed to be on special and I was curious. Well, it’s just 2 regular pieces of chicken with some honey sauce drizzled on top from what I can tell. It was $6 compared to almost $8 for a regular 2 piece meal, so worth the gamble and thought the honey sauce was pretty good. It had the option of ordering with a side sauce that was missing, but no big deal here either as I didn’t like the sauces that came with the tenders meal. Would have liked to try a 3rd, but not a deal breaker. I will order from this location again!

I love popeyes and I'm glad that now theres one in Azusa. The food is great. I always get the spicy strips and biscuits. Their sweet tea is awesome. The only drawback at this location is parking but there is a drive thru. Right across the street from APU.

I had the mild tenders, but to me the spice was too much so I gave it away. One they do have is a very good biscuit.

Food waa great, but not worth waiting 35 minutes for my food. The secret is they cater to their drive thru customer.

My experience regarding customer service was great. However I feel management is not doing their job. It's disappointing to see that the employees are not being taken care of. Before you make your way in, there is a small sign that reads "we allow a maximum of FIVE (5)guest in our store at once." As you may have guessed, people were not following the protocol. The cashier kindly asked people that had not ordered to wait outside but no one followed as directed. All employees were extremely busy to take care of line control. Management needs to take charge here.

Good grief. I don't think I've been to a fast food place that's been established and waited a longer amount of time. It took nearly 25 minutes by the time I ordered and got my order, which is kinda ridiculous for fast food. The good news is the chicken was fresh and so was the fries, but the amount of time I had to wait was seriously unacceptable.

Food is great! But customer service is not so great at this location! The workers really need to pay attention more, every time I’ve been here their has been something wrong with my order or something missing that I asked for! Some of the workers are friendly and some aren’t! I also believe they are talking to much rather then focusing on customers orders, comes to the fact that’s why they mess up so much!! Management needs to order extra quantities of sauces, lids, straws etc it needs more consistency! If I’m in the drive thru I have to go inside to get what i need which is inconvenient! I really don’t want to come back to this location anymore, I always seem to be upset after leaving there!

Service: could have been better. It was slow. Food: not as good as in the past. Ordered chicken wings (garlic/Parmesan) only spicy available? Not good. Also the Surf and Turf combo. Shrimp was ok. Chicken...dry. Cole slaw was pretty good. It will be a while before I go back.

Ordered 4 chicken sandwiches and 6 cinnamon apple pies so that I can share the awesome sandwich and pies with friends. Went thru drive thru and was told to pull up because they was going to make pies. 15 minutes went by and I was still waiting. Went inside to ask about it and it was sitting in the bag .sandwich bum wilted and chicken almost cold. Pies were warm . I guess they forgot it was a drive thru order. 1st bad experience at Popeyes. It's a 3 star only because the sandwiches are still delicious

Line was long order was botched but food is quite tasty with a fair price. Ordered a spicy chicken sandwich and got a classic in my bag. It was still delicious and I'll go back again. The mashed potatoes with cajun gravy was quite tasty. The mac & cheese is just alright. Question I have is "why write the word diet on the lid instead of pushing in the diet button?"

They never check the orders always miss items how hard is it to double check the order? Seriously waste of time n money this is the second time they leave items out i paid for.

Not for weak stomaches, in fact, there is so much oil and grease that it really makes you regret the encounter. The chicken sandwhich tasted good but it was not worth it after a few hours. All hot sauces are oil based and the chicken oozes oil when you bite it. Definitely wouldn't eat without an ice cream dessert or something else to help calm the stomach.

My last few trips to Popeyes have been disappointing. Pieces of chicken very small. Customer service not to good. Had good experiences in previous visits but last few times not to good.

On Google, it’s says the restaurant closes at 11 pm. I went through the drive-through at 10:35pm and there was no one there to take my order. Stayed for 3 minutes and as I was leaving, I saw through the pick-up window the workers closing out the register, counting the money and cleaning up the restaurant. Not sure if that’s the protocol but I assumed the restaurant should remain open and provide service until 11pm. Didn’t try the food so I can’t comment on that.

I was looking for a simple, cheap, & easy order on fried Chicken with legs and thighs. The girl said they had a 9 piece special. It was mixed, mainly dry white meat. Really really disappointing.

They are always soooo greedy with sauce and honey. I can spend $60 and the only give me 2 sauces. Going to find a different popeys from now on.

Mac and cheese need salt and the shrimp are super tiny. They hardly have the five dollar boxes. The one in Pasadena on lake is the best around by far!!!!!

This is a relatively new establishment, the staff are mostly young people they are always out of something the chicken is not the same that I became accustomed to since its beginning. I can't quite put my finger on it but something missing ,oh but they didn't forget the hot spices.I am speaking of an establishment in Stone Mountain, Ga. not California. OKAY

DRIVE-THROUGH IS HORRIBLY PLACED, and they're SO freakin slow!!! So, me and my son, went there for only TWO chicken sandwiches that's it!!! No combo, no freakin drinks or sides....30 MINUTES LATER...YES, I said 30 minutes later we finally get our food! Never, and I mean NEVER have I ever experienced such slow service!!! We will NEVER go there again. I wished I could have taken faces pics of the frustrated patrons, as they were standing there waiting in this tiny supposed "fast food" restaurant. Wow!!

The food at this location is so salty, its nauseating. I always have chicken wings with bbq sauce, fries, and coleslaw. I always think, "next time the fries won't be salty." Failed every time. The wings are never tossed in the sauce. They just plop in some sauce, and I have to toss it up myself when I get home. There is just no care at this location.

Chicken pcs are small and the prices are high. It's not what it used to be. This was my favorite chicken place to eat. I'm not coming back.

They charge way to much at this location! Went there today and tried to charge be a 199 for each piece of Chichen I ordered! Then I ordered the special on the pop corn shrimp 🦐 and this is what I got a little baby container of shrimp 🦐!

I placed an order online and half of my order was missing and the employee still doubted me. Spend over $70 and to only receive half of my order of course I was going to complain. They need to double check the order and be more polite.

Sunday night is not the night to eat in the dining room, orderd the special that they had going on and they ran out of chicken for the dine in customers. Prices on the menu board do not match what you are charged. Explanation is that it is a franchise and owner can charge their own prices. They will not adjust pricing to match their advertised price.

Went there over the weekend. Ordered 2 platters. Didn't get 1 side. This happened a few months ago. I called and let them know they didn't get all my sides. They never answered I even called a few times. Won't go back.

For a week, on three separate visits, the “red beans and rice” have smelled and taste sour. On my last visit, my order was replaced with another “sour beans. More needs to be done at this location with food handling to ensure patron’s safety.

Line is always long here! They forget your order, don't give receipt, and food is hit or miss when it is fresh. Very pricey and they do not let you order chicken without making it a meal or some staff are picky and some aren't because it is not ever consistent here, very inconvenient service here and not pleasant to deal with usually.

I had to edit this for the sake of the workers who do a good job at this location. Apparently the owner of this place some genius named Ruben thinks it's okay to charge people full price for about half of what you get at other Popeyes locations. I was told that it's at his discretion and he doesn't need to charge the prices that he does, so he will charge you whatever he pleases apparently m I ordered the shrimp a lot I've had them burn it but have them replace it every time this time I paid $5 for a tiny cup of shrimp this is ridiculous.

Popeyes app is very user unfriendly. I ended up going inside the restaurant to place my order. Then, I ended up with two orders because the first order went through. I wanted to cancel the first order, but the manager was not helpful at all in resolving the issue. She gave very poor service. I deleted the app from my phone as soon as I left the restaurant.

I have one question! WTH is this? They considered this little slither a whole wing and counted it as one in the order of 6! To top it off the food was cold! I live less than 5 minutes away from this location!

Ive ordered from this place 4 times for delivery and every single time, they have forgotten the sauce. Ive even bought 5$ worth of ranch several times and THEY NEVER ADDED IT. The food is good, but do not mobile order because there will be missing items.

I come to this location about once a week. So it was a bit disheartening when I place a mobile order (which took my points AND money) and they don’t have my order. I showed my phone and they did confirm it was the right location. Apparently this is an ongoing problem at this location and instead of rectifying the situation. They put the burden on the customer to have to get into contact with customer service. However customer service does NOT take calls. It’s an automated system that sends a link to you via text. You click the link, fill out the information, it sends your complaint, and then you receive an email stating someone will email you within 24-48hrs. So just an FYI, if this happens to you, YOU WILL NOT GET YOUR FOOD

We went through the drive through expecting to have an easy pleasant experience as we usually do with this Popeyes and had an experience so bad we cancelled our order at the window. My mother is a senior and handicapped and a lot of the menu prices are very small and hard for her to read, she wanted some clarification on the pricing your Tuesday special order, instead of just saying how much it is he said “I put it on the screen for you” …what?? she’s asking because she can’t see the screen…not very ADA compliant or helpful. Then, we order 3 Tuesday specials so we order three sauces, we are told “I can only give you one sauce you have to pay for the rest” we question why, 1 because I’ve never had an issue getting more than one sauce, 2 because we have 3 orders? Why can’t we get one sauce per order “because it’s a franchise and this Popeyes charges for extra sauce” but we just want one for each order “every Popeyes is different” both the man at the drive through window and the manager sit and continue to be rude and condescending over damn sauces. Nobody argues with my mother while I’m present so I said “just cancel our order they’ve been rude to us from the start” and they both laughed and we drove away. What happened to Popeyes hospitality? Very upsetting behavior from two grown men, especially the manager because he could’ve de-escalated this and chose to be rude and aggressive. I don’t know what type of operation you have running here but it’s definitely not a Popeyes.

To initiate we ordered a family pack here at this location. Unfortunately the service was far below our standards. Specifically referring to the Hispanic kid working the front of the house. I get it that they may not want to be at work and that’s understandable. However don’t take the anger out on paying customers. The customers are the reason that your company pays you minimum wage. Don’t be ungrateful. If you don’t like it then find a better job. Simple as that.

It took 5 minutes for the manager to take my order and 10 minutes to get my food. Is there a universal handbook that commands employees to ignore customers and give trash service? Damn, I need Popeyes to do better.

Having Raising Cane, KFC, El Pollo Loco here in Azusa, Ca., i decided to try Popeyes L. Kitchen. When I got home I was very disappointed to find out that they gave me a Mix of Old and new chickens. As you can see on the pictures, the other half pieces of the Chicken are dark and old. The texture of the meat is like plastic and one of the thighs that I highlighted (red circle old, green circle new)on pictures shrunk because it's old.

A fair amount of customers complain of small sizing of chicken pieces. My issue is always receiving cold old food. I guess I'll return to my Popeyes at 300 Huntington Drive in Monrovia. This is not my place to eat at.
