Excellent!! Daniel was exceptional!!!! Made my Margaritas perfect!! I had a red enchilada and green enchilada. There was no better one. They both were tasty and fantastic! The wait staff was super nice and the chips and salsa were just as good too. Tasty salsa! I will definitely will be back.

I love their shredded beef taquitos and also their burritos. Also their rice and beans is delicious and you can’t deny the deliciousness of the chips and salsa

To the discerning critic, Marias may seem simple. It is possible that, yes, the menu is somewhat basic. However, what stands out to me is what can't be seen through the menu. The food will never win a James beard award. However, the food is hearty, the beans are creamy, the rice is fluffy, and the mole is satisfying in a way I can't really describe. Perhaps it's my bias. I have been eating here for nearly 40 years. So little has changed in that time that Perhaps what i like most about this place is my childhood nostalgia. It's fair to say that Marias is the quintessential mom and pop family restaurant. It is a family run family restaurant. A member of a dying breed of business that hasn't changed and does things on their terms. This place, in many ways, shows all the good that this country has to offer? A place where a family can come with a good idea, some grit and work ethic, and make a name for themselves. That is what has been taking place at Marias for the last 50 years. This is my favorite restaurant in the world. And i truly have traveled a good part of the world. I still come back to this place over and over. Nothing will change how I feel about this restaurant. And hey, the food is good too.

Really good tortilla chips! :) I ordered the house Margaret and that was a great choice, thanks for the suggestion. The chimichanga was really good, too. Good choice of including guacamole and sour cream. Service was great! I will absolutely be back.

I’ve been coming to this restaurant since I was a child - my mom grew up in Glendora - and every time it’s delicious Mexican food! I enjoyed the chips and salsa to start the meal and then ordered a salad with their unique sour cream dressing. Before you make a face, you gotta try it! Then my two item combo with a taco and shredded beef and bean burrito arrived which I quickly devoured! This Glendora staple is worth a trip to - especially since it’s been recently remodeled and expanded

I was welcomed as I entered, asked where I would like to sit given a choice of indoor or patio, and the server explained questions I had about a few dishes, asked if I wanted to wait for the rest of my party or order now. Food was served with a smile, drinks were served and my water glass was filled each time it got below half full. Food was lovely and delicious. I enjoyed the shrimp taco which was served with a juicy lime slice. I do love the tang of lime on my taco. My friend ordered enchiladas which she said were wonderful. The restaurant was clean, inviting, and tables were spaced out enough that conversations could be private. I highly recommend Maria's.

I usually am intimidated by this place because of the prices . Today I was feeling confident (generally speaking!) So after my run to UPS and Vons, I went in to do a takeout for lunch. I stood looking at the menu for 5 to 7 minutes, trying to calculate prices and decide what I wanted. I decided to go with the chicken flautas for $14. That did not come with rice and beans (additional $7.99) and also decided on a side of taquitos. I did order the side of rice and beans. My total was $30. A little bit of a price shock but these days with food prices soaring I nervously excused the high total. What really surprised me was once I got my food and started trying everything. I then understood why the high prices – you get quality ingredients. The chicken flautas yes was not a big portion, but it is one big log that they split into two. I got all the toppings on the side so that it would get soggy. The crunch was there and it was a delicious outer wrapping with plenty of white chicken meat stuffed inside now one of the other items that blew me away was the creamy guacamole. I mean I am not a foodie or a connoisseur of cuisines, but this was a very good guacamole and I’m usually not a fan of creamy guacamole. The guacamole was stated at market price so I initially questioned really how good can it be?. Apologies for the very lengthy review, but in sum, a hostess that got u, answered all your questions and understood that you wanted the toppings on the side and knew her salsas, to great recipes, quality ingredients, and pretty fast service (my order was ready in five minutes). Hats off to the chefs back in the kitchen and whoever came up with the recipes. Keep up the great work, Maria’s.! Quality, fresh ingredients - deliciousness!

A little on the greasy side, but really flavorful classic Mexican food with tons of options. Their enchiladas are mind-blowingly good, as is their potato taco - so unique! Their drinks are killer too. I had a cucumber jalapeno margarita and it was to die for!! Super nice staff and the remodel really made the place look classier.

pretty much exactly what you would expect from a mexican restaurant in glendora, california. it's definitely mexican food for white people, but still pretty good. the guac is yummy; not spicy at all. we had the chicken tacos with a crunchy taco shell and shredded cheddar. it's like upgraded taco bell. the atmosphere is cozy, the tortilla chips are served warm, and the servers are friendly. sunday night was decently busy but the food still came out fast. is this review mean? i feel like this review could be seen as mean. honestly it was better than i expected. like the salsa was a little spicy, but it was yummy. i would eat here again after, like, maybe a little league baseball game or something? one margarita and some nachos to celebrate Kennedy's first home run or something, idk

They have decent food and great mixed drinks. It's always busy so plan to wait 30 mins before sitting or picking up. It's a small building so they are limited but the have a small bar for faster service. I wish they added a few things like fajitas or some more specials. But overall decent food for the price.

3 stars of great customer service and cleanliness. Had a meatballs soup with the smallest meatballs and the taste was of canned veggies, shrimp tacos were good and beef taco was average. Won't come back but if you're starving on a rainy day it's a good place to stop by.

Last night their Salsa had no flavor when they usually have very good tasty Salsa. I would have given them 5 stars except ever since they expanded their restaurant their beans and rice are not the same, its very disappointing. I still go there in hopes they get back to how they were. The staff is wonderful and service is always excellent. I have been going there for over 30 years.

By the reviews I was expecting a really good meal. I think they are getting by on their old name. Food was not a quality I would serve to my friends. I'll look for another quality family owned Mexican restaurant.

The food here is delicious and at a great value. The salsa they serve with their chips is spicy and fantastic. The customer service is lacking a bit though. Not terribly, but there was a sense of being rushed. Overall, I recommend this place to locals and tourists.

The service here is fine, folks are nice. I’ve been here twice recently bc a family member likes it. First visit the food was middling but filled a void. The second visit was worse. I ordered an a la carte Chile relleno. I didn’t recognize what they brought with my taquitos. I thought it was some kind of Mexican pancake. When the server came back I ask what it was and he said the Chile relleno. What it really was was a sliced piece of pepper laid flat sprinkled with cheese and then cooked in a pancake thickness dough. None of the food had any flavor. It was bland “Mexican” for old people who don’t use any spice other than salt. I’m going to talk me family into something else next time I’m in Glendora.

Very dissatisfied with the food and service. Waiter was pleasant and nice but missed a lot of things. When we got our coffee he didn't bring us sugar or creamer. When we asked for those items he brought us creamer but no sugar. I ordered a combination plate with a Chile Relleno and a shredded beef Enchilada. The Chile Relleno was big, but don't let it fool you. Half the size of the Chile Relleno was batter. The Enchilada was decent but the tortilla was stale. The salad that came with the meal was all lettuce with a tiny piece of tomato. Overall for the price, it's not worth it unfortunately.

Heard good reports, finally went, disappointed. Chili relleno was overcooked, tough around the edges, hardly any sauce. Beef taco was ok, alot of meat. Beans and rice were mediocre. My wife had taquitos, she was not impressed. Overall the food was flat, something missing. I think the relleno and taquitos were not freshly made. Ambiance was good. Staff was excellent. Food came quickly. Won't go back. Too many other places where we the food is exceptional.

Pretty disappointed actually. My family has been coming here for YEARS. I ate here today with my family and they charged us extra to remove beans from a burrito. They charged us for extra cheese in the burrito even though we did not ask for extra cheese. Even then, the burrito was tiny. Our waitress is one of the owners and I must say she has become unpleasant over the years. My mom called to ask about the charges (our bill was over $100 for 3 people) and our waitress/owner was very rude. Unfortunately I don't know if they will be getting me or my family's business anymore. Very very sad

Not impressed... the wife's combo was $18! I ordered a carnitas burrito... to go..... I THINK??? I was given a beef burrito.... Hmmm... Not able to tell one meat from the other kind of sums it up. I'll stick to Mauricio on Foothill and Amelia... Better tasting, better portions.

I grew up in the SGV in the 50s and I've been eating Mexican food for as long as I can remember. I can say without any doubt at all that the dinner I had this evening was the worst Mexican food I ever had. Bland, dry, and skimpy. I dissected my Chile relleno - the Chile was only 2 inches long. On the other hand, service was good, but service alone will not bring me or my family back.

WHAT HAPPENED TO "WE'LL BE RIGHT WITH YOU, THANK YOU FOR WAITING😊" Been coming here for many years about 12 yes, mostly because it is clean, most of the time of the services is good to Fair I have previously given this restaurant five stars. I was recently there the hostess was extremely unfriendly I walked into see if somebody would come out because I had been waiting at least 15 minutes and no one would come out to say the wait will be another 10,15, 30 minutes, she saw us then other parties arrived, when I went in to ask if someone would come out the hostess barked at me and said I have to be patient I have to wait she then immediately came out and continued barking the same thing that I had to be patient they were very busy. She then immediately brought us in but she had to have her say. Apparently they were ready to customers she just chose to be rude. The host are usually very quick and friendly but not this one I know help is hard to get these days but at least put a friendly person as hostess or host.

I wanted to give this place a chance because I live across the street. The burrito was so bland, like no flavor. It was extremely disappointing. I'm mexican, and if a Mexican restaurant can't get a burrito right, I can only imagine the rest of the menu. Do yourself a favor and go down the street to Taco Grill and order to go. They are the most delicious authentic mexican restaurant in Glendora.

The experience at Maria's was less than stellar. The service was very different and rushed, no eye contact, food was plopped down. My plate was actually very hot and it was plopped down to the side of me and I had to use a fork to move the plate in front of me. This is okay if it had not been the case for the whole dining experience. The food was very plain and not much food for the price. Most restaurants give huge servings of food, but Maria's was the opposite. Not enough food for the price. Food was just plopped down on a plate as if the chef was tired and angry.

Food was not good. Beans tasted as if they are can. More like a low end quality Mexican American restaurant. We barley received our food when they arrived with the check. Mexican restaurant only by name. Quality and food items they used are from someone who does not know what to buy. Will never come here again.
