The front desk staff were friendly & so helpful checking in & during our stay. This hotel is a hidden gem. Beautiful place, great rooms & delish food. Fun to be able to walk a few steps to great shops & other places to eat.

Went for a vendor golf outing and everything was absolutely great!!

Hotel was nice, the rooms are dated, carpet needs replaced. I would stay again because the area is good and feels very safe. Lots of food options close by plus the fact you are on a golf course. I would recommend.

It was a slow, cold evening, but we welcomed warmly. We chose to sit outside in one of their warm and cozy igloos. The service was great, and food and drinks hit the right spot. We plan to go back in summer ☀️ and enjoy the beautiful golf views.

I'm not sure about the hotel but the golf course is fabulous and the grill has some tasty offerings.

Met some friends there for lunch on the patio on a beautiful sunny day. The service was wonderful, the food is fantastic. Their homemade potato chips are legendary. And the Chicago style hot dog was perfect!

Beautiful venue for variety of events. Meal was delicious, service staff lacked professionalism which you need for a special event. Water was never refilled, plates were cleared before even completing the meal. Don’t look away or you’ll lose your plate!

Last year, after my father died and I needed a place to stay for a month, while getting his affairs in order, I stayed at the Glen Club. The staff was exceedingly kind and attentive during my entire stay. They consistently went out of their way to help me whenever I needed it. During the early spring it was a quiet oasis from the business of the suburbs. The restaurant was great for a late night dinner. Plus the hotel is a short drive to a number of quality restaurants. I highly recommend this boutique hotel.

Great hotel next to the golf course, you can putt and chip for free and use the driving range. The room is clean and spacious, and the bathroom had a nice shower and amenities. The lady working at the front desk was very nice and helpful. Many restaurants and fun things are accessible from the hotel, 20 mins to Chicago and a very safe feel. Would recommend!

This is a very nice golf club. The staff here were fantastic and the course was challenging.

My son and his lovely bride had their wedding reception there. Staff were friendly and accommodating to any of there needs. I like that there is only one room for the banquet Shi your not sharing the space with anyone else. The weather was gorgeous and we were able to have appetizers served outside on the large patio. We were able to use the patio all night long as well. After the reception we stayed at one the 22 hotel rooms on the second floor. With family and friends renting all 22 rooms, we continue the party upstairs after the big party downstairs was over with late night snacks. Large room with king bed, flat screen T.V. The bathroom was well stocked with towels and toiletries. Followed the next morning with a continental breakfast.

Just had lunch there with my daughter, grandchildren and wife outside in one of the bubbles. For those of you who don’t know about the bubble, it’s an outdoor dining climate controlled bubble that fits eight people. Six would be more comfortable tho. Each bubble has an electric space heater and electric wood fireplace. Temperature inside was great. Outdoor temperature was 39 degrees. Food service is offered. We had crab cakes, burgers, chicken fingers and chocolate fondue. All were very tasty and hot. The service was attentive and friendly. This is a great concept offered during the pandemic. Cheers

Made a last minute reservation in this golf club. I had a great experience, comfy beds, friendly people, free made to order breakfast was great! Clean. Nearby area with lost of shops and restaurants is great! It’s in walking distance! This place is beautiful for events too. Overall! I had a great time, thank you so much!

I accidentally made reservation at a different place and realize that upon arrival on Mother's Day for brunch. Managers Joe and Lauren went above and beyond to accommodate us. They were absolute outstanding creating a place for us despite my error. I can't thank them enough for their care on this day and in the manner that they made us feel welcome! Btw, everything was delicious as well!

Stayed Christmas while visiting family.. everything about the glen was nice, enjoyed my stay

A nice place reminiscent of a '30's country club. Some traditional food, some more modern, all excellent. Prices are pretty good for nowadays. Lovely views of the course and plenty of parking. This was the first time I was there, but it won't be the last.

I had no idea the Glen Club was more than a golf club. Turns out that it's way more ... even if you don't golf! I had business in Glenview and discovered on-line while searching for a hotel in the area, that TGC offered rooms. And at a very decent price. Booked for 2 nights and ended up staying for 4. The room was very nice, the restaurant grill was excellent (great wine and very good food) and room service quick. Best of all was the staff! John and Justin at the front desk went above and beyond making my stay a relaxing one. Every business should be fortunate enough to have employees as dedicated to customer service as these two. I'll be back. Thanks for all you did.

After a round of golf one has had a wonderful round. But then, having drinks and a fine meal at the restaurant is beyond!!! Many thanks to fantastic George, whose welcoming and attentive personality added so much to our experience….made it A+++!!!!!

My wife's baby shower was a major success at The Glen Club. A beautiful venue with an amazing view of the course. Thank you to the Staff for great service. In particular George Ott. He was extremely attentive and made the day seemlessly special for my wife. We will be back and recommend to others. Thank you.

Its a pretty but generic hotel connected to a golf course. It has a cafe and you can buy some badic sundries at the front desk. The bed is very comfortable. I would stay here again if I am ever in the same area.

Designed by renowned architect Tom Fazio in 2001, the course is built on the site of a former military airbase, transforming the flat terrain into a strategic and visually striking layout. Its proximity—just about 30 minutes from downtown Chicago—makes it easily accessible. A notable highlight in the club’s history is that Scottie Scheffler recorded his first Korn Ferry Tour victory here, adding to the course’s reputation for hosting high-level competitive golf. One minor drawback during my visit was that our group was repeatedly encouraged to pick up the pace of play—this happened four times. However, the delays were due to the group ahead of us pausing for lunch, not our own pace. The requests from the marshals were firm but never unpleasant, so it didn’t detract too much from the overall experience

A golf retreat just minutes from home! The balcony overlooking the golf course was relaxing and fun to watch people tee off or finish the round. The view was very scenic. Overall a nice stay, but in general the service staff throughout the hotel/restaurant could've been better. Playing a round here was enjoyable, great greens and playing conditions.

Played a round of golf here with a couple of friends. One of them had won the golf foursome as part of a charity event. The course itself is very nice with top quality carts with computers and USB chargers. The service at the bar and on the course was good. Also, they give you free range balls to warm up, which was nice. The club house and facilities are top notch and the Illinois Golf Hall of Fame displays in their main hall are really great. On the bad side, attendants at the bag drop weren't at all up to the level I'd expect at this type of course. They didn't load or unload the carts. We couldn't even find them for awhile. It's off season but a club like this should have top level service. Overall, the experience was very nice but not 5 star.

Aside from waiting around for 10 min for the check-in guy after calling in with an ETA on my arrival, and the reservation system not updating (club's fault) fast enough complicating finding our reservation we made online... The room, and check-in attendant made up for it. He gave us a room as I showed him the one I made on my phone, and assured us he would get the paper work figured out before our check out in the morning. Cool place to stay.

Beautiful place, room was very nice, clean, and spacious. The balcony sitting area was cute and unused due to weather. Very private with wonderful scenery. Unfortunately our TV had some connectivity issues. There is restaurant. The Grill that offers breakfast, brunch, and dinner. There are golf offerings as well. The receptionist at check-in and over night were great. Would refer for a nice cozy retreat.

Came in from out of state, this place was amazing. Great golf, great service, couldn’t ask for more. Update, came back again in 2024, was there end of July - I got eaten alive by stable flies, have over 100 bites on my legs. Was out on the back patio area for one night. I really hope that is addressed, I’m not even kidding 100’s of bites on my legs.

Decently priced. Older hotel but comfortable. Clean. Mini fridge and microwave. Golf course on site. Access to public park, about 5 min walk. Access to recreational centre with a gym and pool. This was 4 min drive from the hotel. Restaurants close by that you can walk to, 5-10min away. Restaurant in the hotel/ resort as well.

We reserved an igloo. Micheal, the coordinator was very helpful and nice. It was easy to make. The igloo was so cute. I wish we were there earlier in the day where it wasn't so dark so we could take in the scenery. (I guess we will have to go again 😊) The server was very nice and always wore a mask. Asked us to put a mask on when they came by. It felt very safe. We could see them cleaning the other igloos by wiping things down then using a mist machine to spray things down. It seemed good. There was a Bluetooth speaker and heaters in there as well. We were able to have our own music and control the temp. It was for a birthday, they did bring out a cookie skillet which my friend said was very delicious. I thought that was very nice of them. The only complaint if any, would've been that we wished they had more champagne to choose from, otherwise everything was great. 😊

The course offers a beautiful setting, and the service is exceptionally helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean and spacious, though the layout of the television and seating could be improved. The location provides easy access to a variety of amenities.

Attended for a fundraising gala. The food and service were mediocre. The creme brulee was not cooked all the way and people at the table were waiting for almost 15 minutes for their food while others had already been served. The room is also on the small side, best for events with less than 100 guests if you want to have a dance floor.

This hotel is 3 stars at best. The rooms are clean but sparse. Very limited amenities; the iron in my room was broken and spilled water all over my clothes. The staff was not helpful; forced my elderly parents to pack their belonging and move out of their room halfway through their reservation as they had promised their room to another guest.

I stayed there from April 12 through the 14. Accommodations were very nice but my TV didn’t work and toilet had to be flushed more than once.

Was there for a wedding! Wedding was great, no real bar service after ceremony, the proteins were either over cooked or really dry!!! The sides were actually really good and enjoyable!!!! The appetizers were really good aswell! Great location and nice staff, the steak and chicken rubber at end of day!!!

We have been coming here for many years and food was good but today we were a bit disappointed. The shrimp used to be grilled to add to the salad and now it seems like they just added frozen shrimps. The salmon was very plain , it used to be so nice and tender. Not sure what happen! 3 other tables next to us had complained about their food. But the service was excellent and Octavio service is always great.

This is a nice spot for lunch or dinner on a warm summer day. Limited menu, but what they have is good. Mixed drinks are pretty light, don't expect a good pour. Lovely patio seating.

Nice facility, with excellent views from the cafe's out door eating area. Excellent home made chips gratis to all tables. However, my reuben sandwich came with ham instead of corned beef (as was listed on the menu). There with no 'warning' / explanation from waitress...go figure!

I have enjoyed may visits before the pandemic and this was the first visit I had ever since. The food was good (not great) and service was ok (not even as good as their food). We reserved one of their igloo which costs $100 and since the weather was warm, it is hot and we could not sit there, therefore we had to sit on a regular table which they don’t charge anything additional. You guessed it right, no refund even though you literally cannot sit in there. After eating our food and spending an hour and half in there, we got the receipt and you guessed it right, there is tip added by default. I am usually happy to give between 15-20% for an excellent service but with ok service and this being at lunch time with buffet you would think that they would be happy of maybe 15% but no, there was a 23% tip in our bill. The word “Tip” is for you to be able to determine if their service was good enough or not and not automatically assume and force what you like on a receipt. I get it, it is pandemic and restaurant businesses are not doing well, but do I have to get forced to pay 23% tip and not to get our $100 igloo reservation fee? Therefore, 1 lonely star for this place.

We were with a group of 7 rooms and everyone had AC problems throughout the 3 night stay. Had to call the front desk 5 times and threatened to leave if they didn't fix. Nice hotel but warm rooms make it my recommendation to use another hotel. Apparently this is a regular occurrence according to the front desk.

Restaurant was average at best. Food not great. Service mediocre. $225 for 2 people. Not worth it.

We had our daughter’s bridal shower at the Glen Club. We booked and we paid for both the indoor and outdoor spaces. During the event, the doors to the outdoor space not only were closed, but they were locked. My daughter asked multiple times as She was trying to greet arriving guests, for all the doors to be open and unlocked. Obviously, guests had no idea they could use the outdoor space. About 45 minutes into the event, all the people congregated inside, very frustrated She finally went over with her fiance, unlocked, opened, and screwed the doors open themselves. We were outside for a total of 15-20 minutes. No umbrellas were open. No heaters were turned on which we specifically asked for. Moreover, when we got there, the linen for the dessert table was filthy. We were strategically placing the dessert plates to cover the stains. I also thought we were supposed to have an event coordinator present for the day. There was a young lady there, although she did not say anything the entirety of the event, not to me, not to my daughter not to guests. My daughter was guiding each table to get up and go get food at the buffet, people didn't quite realize there was an open bar. Instead of being able to relax and enjoy her day, My daughter was focusing on details which in every other experience I've had, should have been taken care of by the venue. Very disappointed. We spoke to the director of sales Micheal Koenig and voiced our complaint who implied we lied, by saying it was untrue that the doors were closed and locked and that they were not event planners. We were told we could have used the outdoor space the whole time but how were the guests to know when the doors were closed and locked? We paid extra to use the both the indoor and outdoor space and were only able to use the outdoor space for a short time after having opened and unlocking the doors ourselves and letting the guests know the space was available. Instead of being empathetic and apologetic he actually had an attitude. The glen club is a beautiful space but the customer service was lacking.

Dined on the patio. Expected more from Kemper Sports. Food and service mediocre to poor. Managers working their magic, trying to keep the staff afloat. Staff just not trained well at all. Menu knowledge to order taking... how to clear and when to clear lost with the bus staff.

Came for a lesson at the driving range. It’s not a range it’s literally a field with some buckets and you just space yourself apart from other people not even a real station. Baking in the sun cuz there’s no roof or any structure. On top of that it’s a TWO-SIDED driving range?? Like I got two balls hit from the opposite side of the field that whizzed past my ankles. I looked up and saw the buckets marking the stations set up on the other side as well?? That’s a crazy injury just waiting to happen I don’t know who thought of this.

We have been going to the Grill at the Glen Club for years. The menu, food and service were always great. In fact we were there just about two weeks ago and all was good. We visited again today and will probably never go back again. The menu was changed and much for the worse. Very limited and costly. We asked why the change and were told there is a new chef who changed the menu. Even though there were only three tables occupied and two servers the service was terrible. After ordering our food we waited about 40 minutes for it to arrive. The bread on my sandwich was so hard I couldn't bite into it and couldn't cut it either. Same with another person at our table. Another ordered something that was under cooked and had a poor flavor. The server removed our plates and we ordered some thing else. I specified extra well done and when it arrived it was medium. Sent it back and waited about 15 minutes for it to be brought back to the table. Ordered dessert consisting of a doughnut topped with ice cream. The ice cream was fine but I couldn't cut into the doughnut. As it turned out it was frozen! They actually served a frozen doughnut! What was supposed to be a good quick lunch turned into a two and a half hour nightmare. And there seemed to be no management in sight. We won't be going back anytime soon.

Fill your halfway house with more than a tuna cup and hot dogs. Half the items on the menu were out of stock at 9 am. What's even the point of being open.

I stayed here on 06/26/24. I recorded the tub not working. The ac thermostat wouldn't cool the room. Not only that but the remote wouldn't even connect to the TV. The TV kept reading no signal. My boyfriend went down the desk and explained it to them. They gave us another remote and it still didn't work. On top of that, we called downstairs and explained all of this and was told that she was the only person working and that she'd reach out to her manager and that she sent them a text. We called down again and no response. I called the hotel again to inquire about an adjustment or anything & I kept getting the runaround. This is completely unacceptable and very unprofessional.

I went with a friend trying to book and they acted like they didn’t want us to book with them I felt like they were being racist wit us I really don’t know what the problem was we talked to a manager he didn’t help either! & they told us otp 18 & older to book we came a hour there jus for them to say we couldn’t book .
