The place is really nice very colorful, the food was good, the waitress started doing well but then changed. But everyone there were nice
El Rinconcito "the little corner". Great place to get some mexican food and drinks! The chips and salsa, along with the tacos and shredded beef chimichangas were excellent! Fresh and hot with generous portions and great staff! The parking lot is kinda weird but don't let it deter you from good food.
I had tacos, and my husband had enchiladas. Both were excellent. Service was attentive. We highly recommend El Rinconcito.

I was craving a taco salad after work and still being unfamiliar with the area, I simply Googled "taco salad" and El Rinconcito came up. I looked through some of the reviews and photos and decided to give it a shot. When I arrived it had a "grand opening" banner outside. I placed an online order and stopped by about 30 minutes before closing. The staff were very friendly and greeted me, but unfortunately, I couldn't understand much because they were speaking mostly in Spanish (go figure I took German in high school). Luckily, there were a couple of other guests who translated for me. They immediately brought my food out, and they were very polite and understanding of the communication barrier. My taco salad was phenomenal. It looks just like the pictures online in the reviews. They were kind enough to include chips and salsa, which they must serve at the table while you wait for your food. There was a ton of meat in my salad, with equal parts of lettuce and tomato. The seasoning was great, and the shell was very crispy and delicious - not greasy at all! The portion fit the price. I'm very pleased that I tried this place and I will return in the future when I can sit down with my husband and enjoy the atmosphere.

Omg. This place is amazing FOOD is AWESOME 2:30 pm on a Wednesday. Hard to see from the the south 441 right out of if Ocala. Salsa 8/10 but with black bean dip it’s a 10/10. PERFECTION
We found this place last minute after first trying to,go,to a similar place down the street only to find it was closed. It was a very pleasant surprise! Service was superior, food was better than your average Mexican, atmosphere was friendly and inviting, and even better, prices were reasonable! Highly recommend you give them a try. We’ll definitely be back!

From the moment they opened, I have never had a bad dish or a bad service experience — not once. Every plate is full of fresh, authentic flavor, and the staff is always warm, attentive, and welcoming. This is the kind of place you crave, recommend to everyone, and keep coming back to. If you haven’t tried El Rinconcito yet, you’re definitely missing out!
Came here for my husband‘s birthday after living 10 years in San Antonio. I can strongly suggest you come in and try this fresh Mexican authentic food. It is magnificent delicious take it from us that we’ve been looking for a place to really taste again the real authentic Mexican food you can definitely find it here.
Stopped in for lunch based on another review and the location being near me. Wonderful! I wanted to sample a few things and the waiter suggested a Pick 2 or 3 option. I had a burrito, enchilada and tostada all with chicken with rice and beans. I ate all of it! The beans were especially nice as I don't usually even eat them. They were buttery with a hint of heat in a cute tortilla bowl. There wasn't one bad thing on the platter and it was a lot of food. Everyone was so friendly making sure I liked my food and that I was taken care of. I will come back here again when I'm in Ocala.
We moved here recently from Los Angeles. It is HARD to find good latin/mexican food! But HOORAY! We found it at La Rinconcita! Freshly made guacamole at your table side! Amazing chicken soup, great Camarones A Diabla, and the seviche is super fresh and DELICIOSO!!! We have come here three times and ordered different food every time, the fajitas are also super portions and truly special! Dud I mention? GREAT LOOKING MARGATITAS!! Come here you won’t be disappointed!

It was a great first trip here. Excellent service, reasonable prices, and really good food. We had the tortilla soup, which was awesome, with just a little "bite" to it, and the Chipotle steak fajitas were very good. We most definitely will be back here again.

First time here & food was great! I was skeptical because most food places in Ocala are pretty bland. But not here. Very flavorful!! And the service was even better. Daniela was our server and she was the sweetest, very attentive. Coming back for sure.

I stopped here off I-75 during a road trip. Food and drinks were great! Prices were reasonable. They have variety compared to your usual Mexican restaurant. The service staff was attentive and friendly. The Guacamole is made fresh at table side and according to your preference. This place is very authentic so ask for the specials. Overall, loved this place and highly recommended it. Gracias raza!

We are visiting from Michigan and this was the best Mexican we have had since we lived in Texas! Sooo yummy! Even my 2 picky eaters absolutely SMASHED their tacos! And their table side guacamole was amazing!

I love this place! I love the bright colorful designs on the tables and chairs and the Bar. The staff is great, and the most important, the food is AMAZING! The Guacamole is really good, the shredded meat flautas are delicious, the Tamarind juice is so refreshing, the beef soup was yummy. Highly recommended this restaurant, the next time I visit Ocala, I will go back to this place 💯

WOW!! My husband and I are sitting in this WONDERFUL, AUTHENTIC, Mexican Restaurant and could not wait to write this review! From beginning to end nothing but a truly awesome experience. Everyone was so nice, especially the owner! Always made sure we were enjoying our dinner. This was the best meal out we have had in a long time. Portions were huge and seasoned so perfectly. Refried beans were to die for!!! Restaurant was meticulously clean and decorated so nicely. Thank You for a terrific experience! We will be coming back soon and can’t wait till we do!!

We have been driving by this place for a couple of months, and I noticed it was getting more and more business. We decided to try it, and we were amazed. It's now our favorite mexican place in Ocala. I had a jalapeño Margarita, and it was really good. There are several items on the menu I want to try, but I could only try one. I went for the fish tacos, they were very good. I can't wait to go back and try more of the dishes. The food presentation was really nice, the service was friendly. You gotta try this place.

I went to the Rinconcito for the first time. The food was delicious and the portions are VERY generous. I loved the table-side guacamole service. All the servers were very nice and the accommodated to my picking-eating family members. The homemade lemonade was amazing.
Food was great. They were open are convenient hours and had a very clean restaurant. Menu had lots of options but I went with tacos and pineapple fajitas. Recommended

I haven’t had a meal yet that was a disappointment. I have even tried the Raspberry Chipotle Salmon and it was amazing!! I would recommend this place if you want good authentic food.

When I actually went myself, I saw it is so much better than just great tasting food. The staff is amazing, friendly, and willing to chat about everything. They also have way more food than what is listed on the menu. My favorite being tongue tacos, tripe tacos, and menudo. They have lots and every is amazing. Please give them a try and support local business. Believe me, their burritos and bowls are way better than Chipotle. This is AUTHENTIC Mexican food with great taste!

The chips and salsa was excellent. The Taco salad was bland and not much flavor. Found a jalapeno stem in my food but didn't get jalapeno on my salad.
I don’t know how this place has 4.7 stars. We were in ocala from out of town and choose to eat here because of star rating. The restaurant smelled like sewer, we still choose to eat there due to the time frame we had. The beef was awful tasting and all 3 of us had upset stomach’s from it. The service was incredibly slow, the server was not pleasant at all. No customer service, bad food, bad smell. Absolutely do NOT recommend. The chips and salsa were good though!

The food was amazing, so delicious. BUT my husband and I had explosive diarrhea for two days after eating here. Would not recommend.
i was HIGHLY underwhelmed .. first the outside has a horrid smell ..the steak had ZERO flavor ove literally taste raw steak with more flavor .. no sauce was given the verde sauce had zero flavor .. my avocados were like wilted .. maybe my expectations are higher since i live in a city that actually has to make food to taste good to get visitors and for the visitors to want to come back I’m highly disappointed and would very much like a refund or something cause this ain’t it, the service was good that’s the only thing good about this place oh and there chips were good but the hot sauce was just hot no flavor .. ALSOO the taco salad the bowl that it came in was SUPER STALE beans awful .. rice wasn’t giving anything that i was expecting MILDLY DISAPPOINTED when i asked for a different type of cheese it’s like the different cheese didn’t exist i won’t be back but thank you
