Great spot for some nice out of the oven pizza. Service is great, food taste good, and happy hour has some nice options(8pc wings for $5, beers, individual pizzas, etc.). Garlic bread is delicious and complimentary. Parking is free and plenty of it.

This was the first time I ate at this restaurant and it was phenomenal. Their antipasto salad and house salad both for excellent. We had sausage and mushroom pizza and it was so good in the crust was delicious. One of the best parts was we started with rolls and butter that are from 50 years ago when we used to go to Mike's Pizza on Van Nuys Boulevard they were the exact same rules and absolutely delicious. Are friends got pizza also and spaghetti. They bring you fresh parmesan cheese to put on anything you want in a little cute dish with a lid I hope you try this restaurant out it was really good and we will be back

***EXPERIENCE 3*** (Positive) 09/12/25 On my last visit to The Pizza Cookery, the rolls were great, the mushroom salad was very satisfying, and the pizza was fantastic. The food here is constantly delicious. The server we had definitely has the human touch. She is a terrific server that runs around doing it all, but it doesn't prevent her from providing a wonderful dining experience, all with a smile. And, every time I'm here someone comes to our table to make sure everything is up to par. This place is run by a good group of people. ***EXPERIENCE 2*** (Positive) I came back to The Pizza Cookery for some needed nourishment. The complimentary garlic and cheese rolls are worth the visit alone. Again, I ordered the small Cookery Works Pizza with the original crust. However, this time I wanted to add a little veg, so I ordered one of my favorite meaty salads. Our Famous Antipasto Salad is loaded with meat & cheese. It's meaty, it's cheesy, it's garbanzo-beany! As always the service was fantastic. The server was friendly, attentive, and did a great job. ***EXPERIENCE 1*** (Positive) The garlic and cheese rolls are a delicious way to begin your meal. I also had the Cookery Works Pizza with the original crust. The base of the crust is just thick enough to hold all the toppings, and the edges are nicely browned. Overall the pizza is fantastic. And, for any cold pizza fans. This pizza tastes especially good as a leftover right out of the fridge. Service here is very attentive. The gentleman serving my table made multiple inquiries to make sure everything was satisfactory. And, I noticed everyone dining received the same treatment. This is a great place to enjoy a tasty meal.

This place is pretty decent for a pizza, especially since pizza in California is pretty bland compared to the rest of the country. The dough tastes very very fresh, and is cooked perfect. I also got the order of French fries, and they were pretty good! A little crispy and they give you a pretty huge portion. I got a medium pizza and it was enough for 2 people to eat twice. The Antipasto salad is also really yummy, and so are there cheese rolls! If I'm ever in the mood for pizza, or some good fries, I definitely know where to go. And the staff is very nice/quick, even when it's busy:)

This pizzeria offered inside and outside dining. I was greeted when I walked in and seated immediately. They offered bread rolls and our drinks were served promptly. The pizza was delicious. The pepperoni was good, it wasn't evenly distributed but the pizza was delicious and the dough was on point. They offer lunch specials and plenty parking available . It's a family friendly environment and I loved the wall decor. They also offer gluten-free pizza 👍👍

Great dining experience!! Have not been to this location for a while. The interior dining area has a very pleasant atmosphere, they have done a nice remodel. The food and service was excellent. Our server was Maddie, she was very pleasant. I recommend the garlic cheese rolls!!

There aren't enough superlatives to describe The Pizza Cookery in Granada Hills, but I will start by simply saying that they serve THE BEST pizza in the entire San Fernando Valley hands down!! And if you know anything about what has made The Pizza Cookery legendary in the valley for decades, then you know about the complimentary mouth-watering hot cheesy garlic rolls that are served on every table before you can even place your order. Trust me, these rolls alone are worth going to The Pizza Cookery, but the pizza, salads, pasta, and sandwiches are also the best of the best....all served in plentiful portions by an incredibly friendly and accommodating staff led by GM Jeff. If you enjoy a place like "Cheers," where you feel welcome and everybody knows your name, then make The Pizza Cookery your regular stop....I know I do!! 😎👍

Be still my heart! As brokenhearted as I was at the loss of The Original Pizza Cookery in Thousand Oaks, I'm now rejoicing at finding The Pizza Cookery in Granada Hills! Excellent food, flawless service, everything was perfect. My friend and I were treated to super fresh ingredients in our favorite dishes. Our server was excellent with making sure we were happy and our food was exactly as we wanted it to be. Thank you so much for the great experience 💖 Update ~ we have been coming in every few weeks since I left this review. EVERY TIME we get extraordinary service and incredible food!!! Came here to celebrate a newlywed couple and regardless of how big our party was, they still gave us amazing service! Super nice people. I got a small caesar salad which was a pretty big portion but still filled me up. It came with the red onions and caesar dressing on the side. It was really good! My partner got a philly cheese steak sandwich which is pretty good as well. I’d definitely come back again! The portion and quality of the food was for a good price

I was hesitant to try this location as my favorite was the woodland hills location. They moved to Thousand Oaks so I decided to give this location a try. I'm so glad I did! Everything was delicious, the bread was so cheesy and the staff and new owner were very friendly! Happy to say I no longer have to drive to Thousand Oaks! 😊

The pizza comes out hot and fresh and the cheese literally falls off the pizza. The wait time isn't too bad and the decorations inside are nice. I'm reheating a few slices right now and I just KNOW they are gonna hit 🤤

Family friendly experience! Came here before Thanksgiving from the Granada Hills Street Festival. The service was great! They gave my table extra rolls! We had a pasta, pizza, and rolls. I believe our server was Nico Or Nicolas. They put our leftovers in to go containers and gave us extra rolls and a slice of carrot cake to go as well! They were so generous. Thank you! Will come again!

Family-style pizzeria with a retro vibe and warm service. The garlic knots come buttery and hot. Thin-crust pies have a nice crackle without being dry. They’re generous with toppings and don’t skimp on cheese. Great for casual weeknight dinners

This was my first time ordering from Pizza Cookery and I was very impressed (except for the pizza 😅). I found the restaurant because I was in the mood for my favorite soup, Italian Wedding Soup. Theirs was a 5/5 stars! It was excellent. I am not sure if it was homemade, but it sure tasted like it! A pleasant surprise were the garlic knots that came with the meal. I was shocked at the number of roles they gave! Those were also 5/5 stars! The classic Italian salad I ordered was good too. Now the pizza… it’s not to say that the pizza wasn’t good. However, I would not be surprised if they have not updated the recipe for it since their opening in 1975. I’m all about keeping tradition, but the pizza was unmemorable. Love the tiny pepperonis on it, but the sauce was just mid. Perhaps, when/if I try them in person, the pizza may taste better coming right out of the oven. I don’t think they need to reinvent the wheel with their pizza, but it’s for sure outdated. I will definitely be coming back for dinner again and they are by far one of the better pizza places (as a whole restaurant) in the valley.

I'm an old dude that grew up in the San Fernando Valley eating Mike's Pizza, so I heard that The Pizza Cookery continued that old legacy. Well... it doesn't with the exception of the complimentary rolls. OMG, those garlic cheese rolls are pillows from heaven. The pizza crust wasn't hand tossed & nothing like the old days of Mike's. I'd be perfectly happy dipping the rolls into pizza sauce and call it good... no, excellent! Service was pleasant & attentive.

Pizza Cookery Located in Granada Hills across from the car wash place. Very good food, go there every few weeks. Antipasto Salid is one of my favorite things plus much more . Garlic Cheese rolls are so good. 😊

My refill, asking for cheese and getting our bill was a hassle. It was busy and our waitress was doing her best. But the acting manager would skip our table while the table around us was being asked about their food and if they needed anything. This was noticable because he often came to the booth in front of us. Then a customer on that table started to burp loud with the rest of the table just laughing. Lost my appetite really quick after that. Will do take out next time not worth dinning in.
