I had the mango loko, and my wife had the chicken ramen. The food and customer service was excellent. The entire staff were helpful and friendly. The food is reasonable priced as well with big portions. We will be back.
We were told there was no wait on a Friday night, but there ended up being a 40 minute wait by the time we arrived (7 minutes later lol). Despite the wait, the food and atmosphere were totally worth it. Prices were very reasonable, and there was a great selection to order from. The artwork is super cool, and everything glows at night because of the black lights. The music was bangin! Definitely makes you want to party haha. This is definitely not the place to go for a romantic dinner or quiet conversation, but don't let that stop you from giving it a try.
Amazing restaurant! Food was delicious and the personal was extremely friendly! I’ve been here several times and definitely going back!
Celebrated my Birthday there Oct 3rd. Came all the way from Texas to meet owner and try his restaurant. The place was so cool. I had the Raidher roll , crunch roll and aguachile roll. Very tasty. Best sushi ive had. Drinks were bomb. Loved it 10 out of 10. Ashley was so friendly and welcoming. Do recommend you try it. I will be back
Great place to come for happy hour to satisfy your sushi craving! The music is kinda loud but other than that everything is good. The veggie tempura is my favorite. The people are nice and the food is packed nicely to go if you don't want to eat inside.
The 1st time I came here was on a Saturday for lunch. It was great. We got a very nice server. The tiger roll, crunch roll, frida roll, and agua chile roll were amazing. About $16+ for the rolls. 2nd time we came. Went on a Friday at 4. We didn't know it was happy hour and we enjoyed the happy hour menu. It was yummy as well. Servers were very nice and attentive. The music was great too.
Been coming for 3 years, since I found this place on accident Latin America meets Asia and the flavor combinations are out of this world For sure a top local spot for sushi lovers I swear by the aguachile roll! Best sushi roll I have ever had, keeping me coming back for more 💖
Latin meets Japan! Excellent food and outstanding drinks. Happy Hour 2p-5p. It's unorganized like any new spot & most staff is new. But I had an excellent Server named Jay. He was just on point with everything. This is a fine example of what every good Server should be. The Owner she was kind and smiling the whole time. The Bartender is incredibly talented. Give this place a shot and don't let the louder music bother you, it's not a Library and there is outside seating. Cool vibes and great to watch sports or mingle. I'm going back!!!
I read some of the reviews that said they waited much too long for their orders... My husband and I went on Father's Day and maybe because it wasn't super crowded, we had great service! Loved the sushi and the drinks were awesome, although a little pricey... All in all, we loved our experience, which I guess is different for everybody:-)
What a unique place. Love that I can get mariscos and sushi in one sitting, though I only had time for a quick lunch. The food was tasty, and well priced. I got a premium roll and the delicious spicy garlic edamame for $25. Oh and the vibes were great - playing Beyoncé and all the old r&b throwbacks from the 2000s. Will need to come back with friends. Good party vibe going on inside there. Staff was super nice and attentive too.
Loved the plating. The chef and team really used the space on the plate to demonstrate great balance on the salad dishes. The service was well timed as well allowing for great flow between courses. The artwork on the walls also really capture the spirt of the restaurant and lend to an energetic atmosphere. Congrats to the team for their excellent service.
Very good place several choice of sake which is good. The environment is nice very different it felt like a hip bar modern. Everything i order was good

I had to come back and update my review from 3 years ago.. We've been back multiple times the service, staff, chef, food are great!! And it's always a pleasure everytime we go. We've celebrated graduations multiple birthdays there and also date nights. My family and I always look forward to going there..

Been here multiple times and hope to continue going back. Love the food choices and the twist they put on things. Just this last time we had two different dishes that had chicken in it and for both the chicken was way over done. Not juicy and flavorful at all. Hopefully next time it's better
The food is awesome. Service is lacking. The atmosphere is nice, pretty small, but what you would expect from a place here.
Three visits. Last visit changed my mind. Have not been back since. First and second visits : Delightful fusion of mariscos and sushi. No hard liquor license but the soju cocktails will help you forget that really quickly. Day glo art, tasty large portions and interesting shot glasses will have you returning for more. I must say the 50 cent birthday song and enormous firecracker birthday candles for a group sitting next to us also added the good times had by all. Enjoyed so much went back two more times. Visit 3: Third time was NOT great. Went in on a Saturday afternoon. Maybe 3 other groups there. Waited 20 minutes for a server. Then ordered food and drinks. Half the food didn't come and the drinks never did. After hunting down the bartender, as the hostsess/waitress came back, we got the rest of the food and the drinks we were leaving. Bless that bartender. The hostsess/ waitress did come after I went to her station twice, and nearly fell out of my chair waving like a drowning sailor.... but never brought what we asked for. The bartender was very apologetic and did comp the drinks ( we didn't ask for that). Food was still great, well at least the food we ate. Who knows about the missing food items we never received? This experience was disappointing. There are other locations that we enjoy eating at, may not ever come back we'll see.
Love the sushi. I have been there twice. Both time the service lacked. 1st time it literally took 25 minutes for someone to take our drink order and them an additional 20 minutes for food order. As a parent with 2 young boys 45 minutes of waiting just to order causes insanity. The sushi was delicious but the wait staff needs to be trained better.
The food was just amazing straight up has to be one of the best sushi places I've gone too. They took a while to serve and they also didn't serve it in one go it took multiple rounds. The atmosphere wasn't the best very loud music. The bathroom was questionable
This is our local sushi spot. Always love going there for good food and reasonable prices. Normally service is on point but this last time it was a bit shaky. Overall still a pleasant visit.
I want to give a more of a 3.5 star because of the food but, most of these reviews are right about the service. They told us we can sit anywhere so we choose to sit away from the crowd and I saw clearly the server rolling her eyes. Already made us super uncomfortable. The atmosphere and vibes are cool. If the food was good then it can make up for the service. The food was amazing. Definitely loved the Mexican fusion because one roll tasted like ceviche. My piece of advice is to sit at the bar for better service. Either way, had a good time because, the drinks were strong. ;)
Interesting place, I walked in and it was out and out a fiesta. Really loud banda Musica. Don't let that fool you. The food is straight out of Japan. Fresh and tasty. Some of the dishes has a extra emphasis on the spice but for the most part it's traditional tasting 🍣 sushi. Great fun atmosphere, attentive staff. I'm glad I stopped in.
Food is very flavorful and diverse. Atmosphere is great didn't too much appreciate the 4% charge for using my credit card but food was good so it was over looked.
Great service. Very attentive staff. Comfortable seating. Sushi was great. The rolls were ok. Overall 4/5 . Will be back
Great food, fresh and good tastes... fun spot. Waiter kinda slow...

Average place tbh. I only had the temopora shrimp and it was average. It tasted like the ones you buy at Costco. As others said the credit card charge is 4% which upset me too. We went on Tuesday so it wasn't as crowded and loud with music as everyone said. I believe that service drastically drops on weekends (according to other reviewers) so definitely be aware if you're coming in on the weekend.
The wait time to sit was ok. Service needs work. The dish I really enjoyed was Sashimi. I also ordered some rolls and tasted as if it still had batter, I could be wrong. My family really enjoyed their dishes. The place is dark, not a big fan of that. Music is too loud. I would go back for that sashimi though.
They charge extra to use a credit card. Food was very good, but took a long time. Refills on drinks were slow. There was only one other person there. The art on the walls was interesting. I won't go again, but it wasn't awful.
First time I went here food was awesome, but second time was a little off. Must have been a different chef or something. And server was all over the place besides our table. Constantly flagging down different servers for drinks and napkins, even after was done it took them over 30mins or so to get our bill. Restaurant was almost cleared out, had to get up and ask the front host to charge me out. Hope they step it up next visit.
Really good food. The ambiance is fantastic. Music feels a little too loud to have a conversation inside. Cool art inside. Lots of parking. Loved the sushi and very generous with the ginger. Service lacks more attention but it’ll get there. Drinks took too long and sushi as well but very good quality. Nice people.

The place is nice the bathrooms can use some more attention. The food is actually good when you finally get it. Customer service was really bad, the waitresses were pleasant, but they were all over the place. They take for ever to even acknowledge you once you are seated. We had to wave ours down to place our beverage order and then again to place our food order and then again to get refills and then again to remind her about our refills again to ask for the check and then again to remind her about the check, she never came to get the credit card so we walked it to the front to then have them scramble all over the restaurant for a working pen. This was not just our waitress, this was at most tables except the ones with the customers who were obviously friends of the employees.... they got laughs and constantly getting asked what else they needed. Atleast 3 tables paid for their drinks and left complaining on how long they were taking and others like us who were absolutely frustrated and debating on weather to keep waiting or leave. The manager was scolding the guys making the rolls, that was so unprofessional and made it very awkward for the customers to witness. Get it together management!
Food is so delicious here. As a customer that has been coming here since they opened, I very disappointed that they are robbing from their customers. 4% charge fee to use our debit card?! We are in 2024, hardly anyone carries cash anymore. I paid $6 because I used my debit card. I will not be returning to this establishment.
The first time I came here with my wife was awesome. Let me tell you about the second time we came to this place. We got to the location, we pretty much knew what we wanted, tell me why I needed to ask another waiter where our food was 🤷, now our appetizer. We waited for 35 minutes for an appetizer, then they tell us they lost our order list, while I see other people getting their food, we have been waiting for an hour now. The food is great and the place looks cool, but the wait time kills the experience. I recommend to come in a group, that’s when they notice you or if you do decide to come with just one other person, don’t come hungry, because you will be waiting forever….. 💀
I ordered out for delivery, I was so disappointed the sushi tasted like nothing, and at the same time, every single one tasted the same. I didn't take pictures but we ordered 6 different rolls and two Miso Soups I'm giving it two stars because the Miso soup and the crunch appetizer was good. For $126 it needed to be better qualify of food and it just wasn't I will not be ordering from here again.
I’m all about customer service. This place lacks tremendously in that area. It felt like the hostess/waiters were disorganized, overwhelmed, and just confused—I don’t blame them entirely though because they looked understaffed when we first arrived. I blame management for that. When management treats their employees good and provides them with support and proper training, it will lift up the morale and they (employees) will in turn provide the customers with the same treatment. It’s a domino effect. Firstly, it took the waitress a while to finally take our order. I also observed two gentlemen sitting across from us be ignored for approximately 30 minutes—they didn’t even have drinks/water served. I felt bad for them. I would give this place a 1 star for customer service. The two stars is because the food wasn’t so bad…but definitely not the best sushi. It’s one of those fusion spots, not so traditional. Nice concept. Has potential.
We’ve been coming here for over a year and do not waste your money on carry out or delivery, better value dining in. Waited over 40-45 minutes for food when told 30 minutes, not a big deal because they were clearly busy, but I watched my hot food sit for close to 20 minutes while waiting for the sushi. And the sushi…no wasabi at all anywhere. Also, I get that things have gone up I’m price, but don’t charge more and serve less. I do not at all believe this is even an adequate amount of chicken in a chicken bowl and I am not even a big meat lover. And the 4% charge they pass onto their customers for using a credit card. Oy. And the music was blaring so loudly the young lady who took my order were forced to yell at each other.
very poor customer service, the soup i ordered was barely heated up and took up a whole hour, they took forever to bring the slightest things like utensils, sauces, etc. seems like the workers are in their own world instead of serving guests. the music was extremely loud too, you could barely have a conversation. but besides that, the food was really good, especially the ice cream.
First, we came here on a Friday evening, so keep that in mind as you read this review. My young daughter and I got our nails done in the same shopping plaza; she wanted pizza and I wanted sushi. So, we ordered her pizza (next door) and hopped on over to the sushi place for me. First thing I noticed is the music was super loud and it was crowded with glow art on the wall. The art was nice but the vibe was more like a club/bar combo, than a restaurant, honestly. It was a stark contrast from the calmness of the pizza place next door. I would go as far as to say it’s not an idea place to bring your kid to eat dinner on the weekend since it seemed there was a lot of college aged kids there to drink. If you enter through the front, near the pizza place, you’ll eventually realize no one is coming to greet you because the side door is the real entry with the hostess desk. There were 12+ employees working but all seem too busy to help new customers. The “hostesses” seemed to be tasked to do many things which made it hard for them to help incoming people (not their fault). Also, they can’t really hear you. I wanted a menu and they just pointed to the QR code because conversation was impossible with the loudness of the music. The menu online was confusing, maybe it wasn’t loading properly, so I tried to ask questions. The hostesses didn’t seem to know what was in the sushi, so she asked another girl who looked it up, told me and quickly took off. I had more questions but held my tongue because it was clear no one knew what was in the food and they could not hear me anyway. I ordered and verified that the tuna was cooked and one order was sufficient for a meal. I was told they would bring it outside to us when it was done. My daughter and I not only picked up the pizza and ate it, in the time it took to get one order of sushi, we also sat and talked for 30 minutes before we decided we needed to go look for my meal. Now, honestly, none of this was bad enough for me to write a negative review because there’s a niche for everything (even loud music, bars that happen to serve sushi) but the food and the amount of time it took to get it is what compelled me to write. First, the albacore was not cooked, like they said, it was raw (which is fine I eat raw fish but I was just told otherwise which is why I picked it) and it was not, for me, enough for a meal by itself IMO. Also, it was not worth $20 (4% fee added for using a credit card) for the amount (see pic, you decide). A little more and you could get all you can eat sushi in a lot of the restaurants in Northridge and Chatsworth without shouting or waiting 50 minutes for one small plate. So, all in all, if you want to have a place to drink with your friend and watch sports (with loud music) on the weekend, you may enjoy this spot. If you just want sushi at a reasonable price, in a reasonable time frame with attentive customer service, on the weekend, might not be the best choice.

It was my first time coming here. It was HORRIBLE!!!!! Only one person takes the order, prepares the drinks, and brings it to the table; she is the cashier and the usherette. The young lady is doing four tasks, all at the same time. There were plenty of empty tables, but she would ask people to wait 10-15 minutes because she couldn't catch up with the rest of the other tasks. There's no other hostess nor other servers around. The lady is not friendly; she neither smiles nor greets; she jumps immediately to “ how many people? You can scan your order with the QR code”, which is understandable since she is multitasking and running around. You could see how flustered she was and overwhelmed. She neither washed nor sanitized her hands after doing her job as a cashier, then she would get the ordered drinks to the tables. To add up to my worst experience in this place is that the music is EXTREMELY LOUD. I could HARDLY hear the lady talk when I asked her when choosing my orders. Lastly, the food I ordered, all sushi, was dry and low quality. The price of this place doesn't justify the quality of service and the suboptimal food experience. Will I be back here again? I don't think so; I’d rather drive extra miles to go to a quality legit sushi place.
Music was so loud had to yell to talk to across the table, left with a sore throat and ringing ears. Got there an hour before closing but waitstaff acted as though it was a huge inconvenience that we showed up at that time, despite spending 80% of time standing around chatting. No reservations required and only 1/4 full. Wouldn't take drink orders separately, had to have full food order ready before ordering. Left food and drinks at table and walked away without a word. Beer was not as cold as it should be, sushi was not fresh. Never checked on us, couldn't order more drinks, dropped our check at our table without a word. We had to wave someone down to pay and left 20 minutes before closing but they acted as though we had kept them from something more important. We eat sushi at least once a week, but will never eat at this place again.
Today friday we waited more than an hour to get to our table . We order our food waited for the rolls 30 mins and the bowls where another hour everyone ate and the other people just looking. Honestly I will never come back we spend to much money for poor service and food so disappointed 😞
Wacc 100 said in a no jumper intervew to adam 22 that senor sushi in regards tot he owner compa raider " Your restaurant is still being allowed to be open!". only a matter of time before thiz place closes! i been here and the sushi was bad. your better off going to the sushi they sell at the deli at your local vons
Zeñor Suchi? More like *Zeñor Scam*. The sushi tastes like it was prepped by someone who Googled ‘how to make sushi’ five minutes before their shift. The ‘spicy tuna’ had all the kick of a wet napkin, and the ‘dragon roll’ looked like it was put together by a toddler with butterfingers. I’m pretty sure the fish was fresh… fresh out of a can! And the prices? Bro, they’re charging $30 for rolls that taste like they were fished out of a storm drain. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place unless you’re into overpriced disappointment!
We came here for my brothers birthday. What a disaster! The food is very good BUT the music is awful and way, way too loud for a restaurant. Servers were nice, but overwhelmed and poorly trained. It took a long to to get our drinks and the order was incorrect (no biggie), then took over an hour to get our initial order (just 3 rolls dishes). We wanted to order more rolls and sushi after our initial order arrived and after waiting an hour, the order never arrived. We asked the server and she confirmed the order was "almost ready". We waited another 30 minutes then had to cancel the order. We were there for three hours! Nobody should ever be at a restaurant for three hours unless you work there!!! All around horrible experience. I don't wish ill on any business, so I sincerely hope they improve their operation.
I have not ever felt this disgusted about a place as I did today. Monday not busy. Order food and drinks. And it took more than 40 minutes!!!! We sat at the bar and we found out that the “owner/manager” was also present and spoke with him about what was happening. The waitress took our order. But never brought our drinks, until the bell rang three times!!!! The tempura roll never came. But the manager once again! Didn’t even care. Food was basic. The drink I had was ok. Nevertheless I won’t be coming back again. Will rather go to a fast food place!
Just terrible I wouldn't even consider a restaurant the food and the service were just terrible. We couldn't eat. We just ordered the check and left. The fish looked and tasted old with we couldn't even swallow. We threw it out. So unprofessional when the manager is eating on the bar If there was a zero star, I would ve Gave it
I think they changed salmon.. It tastes so much bad than before. It was good for whole time but idk like last november ish
Not the best place to eat,I ordered a soup, had no flavor so I ate a little bit and was going to take the rest home to add it some flavor, I left and forgot to take it so I called to go back to pick it up it was not even 10 minutes from me leaving and they threw it away. Food there is expensive to begin with but my grandson likes the sushi and that's why I go to that place, but I will never go back, every time I had been there the place is almost empty and now I know why, oh BTW they charge you 4% if you pay with a debit card, debit is cash not credit. They're shameless.
