I would like to highly recommend this restaurant because they have very good food, good service, the restaurant is clean, nice music, hot and delicious food. 

I ordered a zesty nachos to go and even though it was just before close, it was still perfection! Absolutely the best nachos in this entire area!! And super nice staff! On my next visit to Texas I will eat there again.

My servers namd was jenny,and its seems that they have a good employe by their side. She was very understanding with my order, and was quick with it too! The management was like non other. Worth every tip.

I'm completely biased because i love Dennys food ♡. Regarding the staff, they are interactive and do their best to get you your orders and check up on you. I think they are a bit short staffed which can make the wait time longer so don't come in if you're starving on their busiest days and times. The environment is clean and mellow, they're food is always on top, and the staff are amazing :3

Very good breakfast. Met my expectations for an early morning quick meal with a time discussion with the guys. Service was good, nit exceptional but went ahead and gave the coveted fifth star. This 5 star review is for Brenda, she created a banana, caramel, and chocolate milkshake for us! I initially thought it was going to be overly sweet, but it was the perfect amount of sweetness that I kept taking sips of it despite being lactose intolerant. If I suffer on the toilet later, worth it.

Oscar was my server, and he was awesome. He was checking out all the customers, serving the customers, and expediting orders while greeting them. I'll be back because this Denny's still does "Service with a smile," and I love that. I was in and out within 20 minutes. That includes my time of looking over the menu.

We had a party of 13 and our waitress was absolutely outstanding and totally on top of keeping us taken care of. The food was also excellent - way above expectations. Definitely recommend!

Chicken skillet wasn't really that good. Waitress preferred to wait to be called to the table rather than come by and ask how things were going. If you are our server, the title of your job says what you should be doing. We shouldn't be left with getting up to retrieve you to the table.

Update: This is the first time we've been to Denny's since Covid. Food was just as good but the price of the Grand Slam increased by 45%. They had me at BLACK LABEL!!! Who doesn't love breakfast? Dennys is comfort food to me. A big breakfast gets me right, before a weekend shopping spree! Dennys now has menu selections that are lovingly made with Black Label bacon🥓. Trust me... Those delicious strips set off the Pancakes, the Eggs, and the Coffee. It was a whole vibe. I highly recommend it!

Okay so let me just say, I said I wasn't going back to Denny's anymore because of the awful service I had been receiving at another Denny's and I was just fed up. But I was hungry and Denny's was close so I went and it was delicious. Service was good. The Server was attentive, not annoying. The food was so hot and quick. Way to go Denny's in Grand Prairie.

The chicken tenders were on the more salty side but the French fries were fantastic. My fiance and I went there with his room mate on Monday to unwind. Although I felt like our waitress forgot about us a few times because we had 2 different waitresses come over to see if we ordered and if we wanted anything she showed up a little later each time. I love the festive black shirt she was wearing !! She even had reindeer antlers on her head. How cute !! Anyway it was a very fun and great experience for all 3 of us

First time visit. The place had just undergone a thorough cleaning as the floors were still damp. Service was satisfactory considering the staffing to customer ratio. My fried steak had good taste and preparation but the interior meat quality was not the best. My companion had the salmon which was, in her words, great. All of the staff were cordial.

I'll give them a nice rating because I can accept slow service when your attitude is great. However, in the interest of criticism and Improvement, I would like my coffee cup refilled at least once. Please keep the condiments at our tables, I hate to scramble to the other tables. Lastly, please learn your own promos. Customer service was awesome

The waitress was on the ball. As soon as our drinks got towards half, she was there to refill. As my friend kept drinking his so fast, she brought him an extra glass. That was awesome. This location was clean and so were the restrooms. Food came out fast and hot. Every thing was made to our order. The food was delicious and hot the spot for all of us. Worth the visit and return visits.

It's a Denny's just like all the others you have ever been to. The food is nice, my server was fantastic and the building is clean. There is an odd feeling when eating in the left side of the building though as the roof feels shorter than it should. Not enough to hit your head on but enough to make you notice. Regardless, it was a nice and peaceful location with good food.

On the plus side: They have menu items for less than $10. Your order gets there super fast. The French toast is amazing (I think they’re using a different type of bread). The staff is quick and friendly. On the negative side: the bacon is just so so. And they charge FOUR DOLLARS for a small cup of coffee! I suggest going across the street to Starbucks for coffee.

Long review, first and last time doing an online order. Friday 8/25/23 I arrived at the time stated for my pickup (10:28am), I was told it was not yet ready, no problem I'll wait. After 15 mins I inquire as to how much longer before my order is ready? I continue to wait (since I have already paid) by this time it is now going on 30 minutes over said pick up time. I ask the waitress/hostess if it's not ready just give me a refund. She then asks if I'm at the right location?😯 Uh yes!! THEN it was determined (after she looks at receipts in a tray) her exact words "Looks like "THEY" gave your online order to someone else" I ask "Who is "THEY??" Still don't know lol She was apologetic and asked if I could give them 5 more minutes to get my order ready. The hassle of trying to get a refund for an online order was going to take more time than that, so I agreed. At that point I should have been offered a complimentary coffee or juice 🤷🏽‍♀ Anyway, after 40+ minutes I FINALLY got my 2 eggs, 2 pancakes, 2 sausage and 2 bacon 🫤 And to whomever "THEY" is at this location, please be careful and ensure you are giving an online order to the correct customer. Probably won't be ordering online again.

In the past Denny's was my favorite place for breakfast, until today. I haven't been to a Denny's in over a year. Today, the place were backed up over a 30 minutes wait. The waitress was polite and seemed overworked due to the lack of staff. The food was did not look good or taste good. The pancake were cooked too long, sausage links, bacon, and eggs were not good. Coffee tasted like it was old. I will not be back but bless the wait staff for keeping place together.

Coffee is really burnt or something awful. The manager doesn't actually manage her restaurant she focuses on seating people and payments. She has little to no customer skills. The food quality leaves much to be desired. You need an area manager to come out here and coach them on food quality. Everything comes out too fast and there is an obvious food quality issue because of it.

Better service than IHOP, but not by much. Every time we eat here the service is lacking. Went for breakfast on memorial day and got put on the wait list with a full lobby and several empty tables. As a former server, cook, and kitchen manager, it was obvious that they were understaffed and under trained. Upside, the food was good.

The coffee we got was cold and when the waitress came back with a fresh hot cup my husband was about to take a drink and he noticed lip stick on the rim of the cup. The Waitress took care of it. For starters, we walk in and no one is at the podium and people’s eyes darted to avoid us when we walked in. Waited a minute or two before being greeted then sat down. We were 1 of the 2 parties in the restaurant keep that in mind. I knew before even looking at the menu I want to order a specific dessert item that requires additional cooking time so I make sure to follow the menu recommendations and order it ahead of time. We get our menus and it seemed like no less than 3 minutes later the server asks if we are ready to order, i’ve never been rushed to order like this before. I am used to being sat, ordering drinks then getting a total of 5-10 minutes minimum to look over the menu from the time you received it. You may be thinking I am crazy because the menu isn’t extensive but it’s just precedent. We get our drinks and I needed a little more time which the server was fine with. When it’s time to order it is extremely obvious our server speaks very broken english, which is not an issue until you can’t even place your order because of lack of comprehension. He asks me to show the menu to reference my order and that was that. A moment of two later someone else comes and asks my order again (and lets me know he is training) I am guessing to confirm what it is that I wanted. When the food came out things were fine. Towards the middle of the meal when he came to check on us and I asked to order the Apple crisp dessert, to which he asked me to repeat and I did. He had already taken our menus so I had nothing to try and show him. He left and I figured he understood or he or someone would comeback and confirm. He came back later and asked if I wanted ‘apple juice’ to which I corrected and repeated what it was I did want, after that he did not come back so I thought everything was settled. After about 15-20 he came to our table and set the bill receipt on the table. My boyfriend asked if I still wanted the dessert to which I declined simply because we had already sat and waited the cook time or a little less for what I thought I was waiting for. Come to find he out, he didn’t understand what I said and just chose to ignore my request and close our bill out. I kept my cool and did not want to be rude because I choose kindness but if the lady who helped the first time knew he was training and barely spoke english why would she continue to let this situation go on. Of course i’m pretty upset but in a situation like this i’d be the bad guy if I asked for a different server simply to make sure my orders are taken correctly or even at all. A couple times I even saw a worker who was folding utensils glance over at our server when he was helping, in a way to make sure she was paying attention in case he needed help. So it seems like he just chose not to ask. I’m annoyed because at the end of the day English is the unofficial language here, in any other country, I an english speak, would not be catered to. I would be forced to adapt and learn, which I have no problem with at all

The guy i had was to quiet couldn't hear him and he didn't refill our drinks or ask if we needed anything else. I asked for a manger and he didn't do it. I had to get her myself. I WILL NEVER go to this Denny's again and not recommend it. It was 8:45 pm and they refused to seat our party if 8. I said we don't have to sit together. This Dennys sucks!!!! The food was lousy, cold, burnt, and tasteless. It was dirty everywhere you look. The bathroom had a sewer smell coming from it. It was my husband's birthday and we wanted to have a nice meal instead we got the worst meal ever! Everyone in the restaurant were unhappy with their food and service 😕 the health department needs to be called out.

The lack of professionalism at this place is unbelievable. I just saw the manager mistreat a customer in front of everyone else. She also spoke rudely and offensively to another customer who came to pick up an order. They really need to review the management of this place. It's a terrible place with awful service. I was shocked by the way they treat people.

The food was cold & uncooked. The coffee tasted like it was sitting out all day. I didn't get all my order. The waitress never wrote our order down on the paid. She only repeated our order. $52.00. Now that's was our bill.

If I could give them no stars I would. It would be one thing if we came in the middle of the night but it’s was 8PM. It should have been a sign when nobody was in there but we gave it the benefit of the doubt. The host was the server, when our drinks came out wrong we should’ve seen the train wreck that would ensue. The entire experience was upsetting. Our order was wrong and the woman made it seem like it was an inconvenience to fix it. We ultimately decided to leave didn’t touch anything. She then had the audacity to follow us out the tell us we need to pay. Pay? Pay for what? Food that was wrong and untouched? No thank you.

This is for the Westchase Dr. Grand Prairie, TX 75052. I was across the street charging my vehicle and wanted to grab a bite to balance my medication. My experience was not great causing me to leave. I requested the Tbone steak breakfast, cooked Medium. I was given a Well done steak. I sent it back at 11:01am. It is 11:37am and I am leaving. The front station advised that my food was just coming up however it was hard for me to accept it considering everyone around me had been served and no communication or updates were extended to me during that time. My brother was on the phone with me and was like Sis, that food isn't being cooked in good energy at this point, it's taking super long and you still have no food of any kind, just leave. I'm noticed that there is a shortage on staffing however, while I understand it didn't fit my immediate need to have food on my stomach to avoid illness. I don't know, nothing surprises me anymore. Good service is hard to find these days. My server Salvador G was working very hard even with the language barrier but clearly he was being pulled all over the place. This just wasn't the visit for me today. I pray this location is able to hire the help thats needed to help them do batter. This is for order#420653.

Went there 6/21/25 to pick up an order for Uber Eats. Older lady came and asked the name. I guess it wasn’t ready, so without any communication she went to the back to make the food. Waited a long time. I decided to cancel because it was an excessive wait time. Please be better at communicating! She was just sitting at a booth on her phone when I got there

this was a bad day for us today! food was so poor! we went to other dennys because we love to eat there,and we went to this one couse was driving close here and stop by,pancakes wasn't the same size like other dennys,they put poor meat on the omelette too,cofee was cold,we speak with the waiter and he don't do anything about it,not even an apology , so please don't really come here!

Lol to being open 24/7 here right now at 645am in 6/7 at Grand prairie location and it's closed..tf no cars in lot Cockrell Hill location has no workers at all. 1 guy waiter turning people around at the door and it has a nasty sewage smell. We walked out due to smell and heard him telling other customers not able to serve.
