Great service... I do miss half price appetizers but the happy hour yall have now will do... happy hour from 3-7 is 2$ nachos with fajita meat and 1.50 margarita and 99cent tacos.. this is a deal you dont wont to pass up.. my family enjoyed ourselves and we will be back soon thank you again
This place quickly became my favorite Mexican restaurant! Been here 3 times now, and they have not disappointed me once! Incredible chips and salsa as soon as you sit down. Prices are so low I'm not sure how they make money, and the food is soooo good! The shrimp nachos were absolutely delicious this last time around.
Los Lupes is a hidden gem in Grand Prairie! It’s a quiet little spot with such a welcoming atmosphere—perfect if you’re looking for a place to relax and enjoy authentic Mexican food without the hustle and noise of the bigger chains. The food here is fantastic. Everything tastes fresh and full of flavor, from the chips and salsa to the main plates. Portions are generous without being over the top, and you can tell the recipes come from real tradition, not just something thrown together. I’ve tried a few different dishes and have been impressed every single time—rich sauces, perfectly seasoned meats, and sides that taste just as good as the main entrée. The service is another highlight. The staff is always friendly, attentive, and happy to make you feel at home. They let you enjoy your meal at your own pace without ever rushing you, which adds to that relaxed, comfortable vibe. If you’re craving great Mexican food in a place that feels laid back and genuine, Los Lupes is it. Whether you’re stopping by for lunch, dinner, or just some drinks and appetizers, this spot delivers every time. I can’t recommend it enough.
I've been here for lunch many times, the buffet is great, not alot of items but just what you need. The food has always been good, the people working here are really nice; it's not too crowded at lunch, but it probably gets crowded for dinner. There is a bar here too. Check em out if you're in the area.
Still my favorite lunch place! Been coming here for at least a decade, lunchtime all you can eat or breakfast. My picky kid loves this place, too. The green salsa is my favorite. Its warm and has a wonderful taste, though it's mild. The red salsa has a hint of a kick, but I'm accustomed to spicy foods so keep that in mind. I'm pretty sure the chips and taco shells are made here, the way they taste so delicious and fresh. I swear you've never had a better chip and salsa experience. I got enchiladas, tamales, and beef tips, he got tacos, and beef tips and rice with a side of cheese sauce and chili. Everything was delicious, as always, and for the price of any fast food meal, this is far better tasting, healthier, and you get more food for your money.
The food is delicious, love the fajitas and nicely priced too. Everytime I visit I also get the strawberry frozen Margarita.. you only need one of those. Today I tried the cheesecake, omg, to die for!! Btw, my favorite hot sauce is the verde, I always get a container to take away... All in all very happy!! 😂😂😂
The food was brought to our table very fast for a Friday night. The food is always delicious. The staff were very friendly and the manager accommodated our party with a large table.

This place has an "old family restaurant" vibe to it. Quick, friendly service. Good price. I got the combination platter - the chicken enchilada, beef taco and guacamole tostada were all delicious.…

The aesthetics of the place is definitely less than sub par, needs updated. The staff was ok, no complaints but no real personality either. Food was the most basic I have ever had at a Mexican restaurant. I am from out of town. Maybe this is a place for locals but for me, eating out is a huge pleasure and I really want a great experience so I can share it with everyone. Only three stars, not because it’s still, but because it was a little on the side of being really forgettable. I do hope that they do well and contribute to grow.

The salsa served here is a far cry from authentic. Instead of the vibrant, layered flavors you’d expect, it tasted more like a blend of canned tomato and watered-down tomato sauce with a hint of chili. The chilaquiles followed suit, lacking any real connection to traditional Mexican cuisine. The dish was bland and uninspired, missing the essential depth and texture that make chilaquiles a beloved staple. Overall, there’s nothing authentic about the experience—just a disappointing imitation of what could have been. and another note you might want to get that lighting checked out.It looks like it might be a fire hazard
Food wasn't that good.. chicken tenders were VERY little..mainly batter.. the menudo was ok..not the best.. the flautas a bit over cooked . tamales were bland..and the crunchy tacos had very little meat..rice and beans were average..nothing special.. the sweet tea wasn't sweet needed to add a lot of sugar .. the chips and salsa were probably the best thing they had to offer. Wont be coming back ..

It was my favorite restaurant but with the bad experience we had yesterday I will never go again I think she was a manager but not sure she was the one with out the uniform, very rude we where seat …
The family which was only 3 of us had waited all week to come and eat Sunday breakfast just to receive all of our food cold. When we arrived we were seated. Drinks, coffee and chips were brought to us in a timely manner. However, i noticed there were several people seated after us who were getting their food who had more people in their party. I asked where are food was in which we had to wait, for it to be brought out. Our food was cold, and the portions were toddler size. This will be the last time we eat here.
The food was cold. We order a caldo and a plate with chile relleno. After 15 minutes the waitress told us that they didn’t have chile relleno. She brought caldo and all the food was cold. The meat from the caldo was hard and didn’t taste good. They brought something cold guisado and it tasted like canned beef stew. It was cold too. We will never come back.
Went for the menudo, advertised as served daily. Ended up sending it back and left. It was really greasy and the meat was just about black from being reheated so much. Server was accommodating and didn’t charge for our coffees.
We went on 7/5/2025 and we had a really bad experience with the food and location function The restroom was closed and out of order and it had a really bad smell our 4 year old son needed to go so we decided to ask for our food to go and we received such small portions all for a high price. I do not recommend this location at all. Such a dissapointment.
