Sunday lunch; This was the first time here, the service was wonderful, it was a full house, but didn't wait long to get a table for 3. The server was super brought out drinks and took our order, my husband had green enchiladas, I had chopped steak with 2 sides and our friend had breakfast plate with a side french toast, so much food and delicious too!! Price is pretty reasonable. Overall the service, the food, and the friendly staff was great. I do believe this will be my place to come to get great food. Top of the list. This place was so busy, but had enough employees to make sure that I was 100% taken care of. My coffee and water was always full and my food was delicious. I got the Chilaquiles with chorizo and it was amazing, fresh and hot.

This was my first time here & let me tell you something…The customer service was amazing! It was so refreshing to be greeted with a smile & consistently checked on while dining. Everyone was so friendly. The prices were reasonable & with the egg prices on the rise, they made sure to post signs at the entrance & throughout the menu about the up charge so customers aren’t blindsided. Food was good and hearty. Definitely comfort food.

Busy on a Sunday at 1pm. Wait was only 30 min for 3 people. Great food and big portions. Friendly staff and decent prices. My mother in law (who is picky)got the club sandwich and loved it. My wife got the good day chicken and loved it. I got grilled pork chops with okra and chili and it was really good. Food didn’t take very long to come out.

Visited today for a brunch date. Food was fantastic as always. Fresh right off the grill fajitas and fresh homemade enchiladas. Good crowd, the wait time was maybe 10-15 minutes. Great service and atmosphere. Must come by!!

The Good Day Cafe was a place we wanted to visit every time we drove past the billboard on I20, We finally made it, and now I'm asking myself why it took so long. These independent places have the best food, and Good Day did not disappoint. We were greeted right away with a smile. They had 2 servers on duty for the whole place, and they were phenomenal. They took care of everyone in a very professional manner. Even bilingual. They didn't even look stressed. Our waitress checked on us just enough but not too much. The food was very fresh and tasted amazing. I even took a picture of the jelly tray because most restaurants do not carry 4 types of jelly and all the sugar substitutes. I was full when I left and had a clean plate. The decor is inviting. Sure, you will notice some cleanliness issues, such as ceiling tiles, but it's the food that makes you forget about everything else. The coffee stayed hot till the very end. My omelet stayed hot till the last bite. We didn't do dessert since we were full, but the display by the register sure made me think about taking some home. We will definitely be back, and I highly recommend a visit to Good Day Cafe.

Food was good, the service decent. Had to ask for refills on water and coffee. Daisy was our server and running like crazy. Always smiling but definitely with more tables than she should have had. We will return to try again when not so busy. Give it a whirl and ask for Daisy. She will work hard to provide a good experience.

They’re usually pretty busy but, they get you seated without a super long wait time. **An insider’s tip: during winter months don’t sit at the table in the front. Popular breakfast spot. There was like over 50 people in there at the time we we dined. And 7-8 servers busy buzzing around. Business seems doing well with that many staffs. The place is much larger that it looks from outside. 7AM open time is just perfect for a breakfast date. Our server was super nice and helpful. She took care of us so well. (Wish I could say the same thing about the manager (I assumed) at the counter who didn’t seem to have interest in talking to her customer. ) We had BLT all day breakfast (which was way too much for me to finish) and a 1/2 waffle kid menu. Mine was was alright, but was not as tasty as I expected. Cheese was a bit too little and bacon was too tough and dry. Egg was moist but not much flavor to it. After all, it was an okay experience.

This place has slowly gone downhill. Ordered breakfast- 2 eggs, bacon, hashbrowns and pancakes. The hashbrowns tasted like oil and hard to chew, definitely not edible. The bacon was too chewy. The pancakes consistency and flavor were unlike any pancakes i’ve had anywhere- comparable to that of cornbread. The server was great though, at least that wasn't a disappointment.

I have seen this place for a while now and was caught by the reviews it had. I then saw a video about it so I decided to finally give it a try. I ordered the chilaquiles skillet and the chicken and waffles. I was very disappointed for the price I paid and the quality of the food. When I opened the chilaquiles I immediately noticed that it had more egg and chicken compared to the tortilla chips and salsa. I then mixed it around and you can tell how dry it was because there was hardly any salsa. I also realize it said it comes with beans and mines were missing. The avocado also did not look good. The chicken and waffles looked better than the chilaquiles. What made it bad was that there was a hair under those syrup and butter containers! That was so disgusting but we were too far to go back. I don’t think they should put those containers in the plate as the sour cream I got for the chilaquiles was liquid from the heat. Overall I did not have a good experience. Maybe their other locations are better?

I don’t know if it’s because of the holiday or there’s a different manager for today but I was not happy with the food and service. My family has been coming here for years and today I felt very DISRESPECTED. We always order the same thing but the chicken kept coming back raw from the kitchen. And to make matters worse the manager on duty had the audacity to tell me and my sister we don’t know what raw chicken looks like. We didn’t come here on Valentine’s Day Saturday to feel like we’re 5yrs old. It’s 2026 we pay to eat good food and enjoy a decent meal. This is a terrible place. The waitress was the only nice person to our table and her name is Sondra, she was the nicest person compared to everyone there
