I went this week and last week and the food had improved tremendously, however when this mg. goes to another store I fear it will go down again. She was told that the other day a customer came in and the kids that were supposed to be working were playing around. Most of the working young people are not working and they don't care.

I stopped by with my mom and niece. I was impressed with the display of catering and condiment bar appearance. However, my only concern was the team was short handed amidst the 5:00 rush.. I suggest adding employees especially during peak hours. My thanks to the location for the taste and quality of food

I was curious about the new brisket melt tacos! The queso blanco and barbecue sauce along with the brisket, onions, and bell peppers, created a great flavor.

There's this young girl every time I go she is ALWAYS friendly. She always works soo hard she always has a smile on her face even when they are busy. Always willing to serve and make sure your taking care of. Two weekends ago a Spanish lady was arguing with her. The young girl still kept professional and was asking for help. The Spanish lady grabbed her phone and started recording. I asked the young girl and she said that she's okay she just tries to make her feel like she's not doing her job. The young file kept asking the Spanish lady for help and she kept ignoring her and kept saying things under her breath. I really wanted to say something to her because at that point the Spanish lady was being disrespectful and rude to the young girl. All of this all happened in front of customers. But other than that the young girl still kept her smile on despite what happened she kept working like a champ and didn't seem to sweat it. Y'all go and see for y'all selves. She deserves a RAISE. Good Job A.

Guys please go here and try their white nacho cheese. It has like the perfect amount of spice n flavor. It’s different but too good. I’m still eating it right not as I’m typing this. Their guac is also really fresh and good with their chips too. Overall 10/10

Haven’t been to taco cabana in a while but went recently cuz of a random craving while out shopping. I was so happy to see that my tacos came out nice and hot and the vegetables were very fresh compared to other places. I love fresh vegetables. I recommend their sauces with anything you get from there; it makes the food taste 10 times better. I’d say my craving was satisfied.

From the moment we pulled up to the drive-thru, he greeted us with a friendly, upbeat attitude over the speaker. When we got to the window, we saw him working hard, going back and forth preparing orders — and it looked like he was doing it all on his own. We asked if he was alone, and he confirmed that he was, but you would never know it by how smoothly everything was running. There were three cars ahead of us, and he managed to take care of all of us within about 15 minutes — all while keeping a positive and professional attitude. Emanuel deserves serious recognition for his work ethic and great customer service. It’s rare to see someone handle a busy shift alone and still be so kind and efficient. Shoutout to him for going above and beyond

I like this chain alot so my review is based on how well this store compares to others. Food quality was good - par for course. It was clean but not dazzling. The service was good but not excellent. I am specifically thinking of the cashier who could have been friendlier and more lively. Still a solid choice.

The food was really good. The service was really good. My only issue was the margaritas. The paper cups were the drinks were terrible. You couldn't taste anything but the cup. When I brought it to the attention of the staff,they apologized but didn't offer to rectify the situation.. my wife and I ended up trashing our drinks. Overall TC isn't bad. Here's where it could have been better. Today was the perfect day to be on the patio. Combined with 2 dollar drinks and well that's just a party! But to get inside from the patio you had to walk all around the patio to the front and enter that way. Didn't know if your food was ready or not because they no longer call out numbers or bring food to the table. We would have bought more food and drinks as the night went on but having to squeeze past people who were eating to get back into the building made the choice clear.

I've never been inside, I frequent drive through. There's a really nice gentleman who works the drive through. This guy makes you feel as though you are at a 5 station eatery!

It's NACHOS, but mine. The presentation was spot on. The margaritas DUH-LISIOUS folks. BRING BACK THE RANCH SALSA IMMEDIATELY!!!!

Only real detractor was the rv set on a murder detective show, so we are hearing about three brutal murders. Just the thing to encourage an appetite. NOT. Taco Cabana is Grand Prairie is a quick stop to get a hot breakfast that is pretty good. Inexpensive, and the people function pretty well behind counter, although they could use sone extra help most times.

I went to this location and the service was horrible. I waited 25 minutes to get my order. I only ordered a cabana bowl and fajitas. They had a number of employee that were moving like molasses.

Food was good and the kitchen was very clean. Service was extremely slow as there seemed to be only 2 people working. There was not a clean table in the restaurant to sit down. So we took it to go. The salsa bar and drink station were filthy with lots of flies.

Food is good and everything but I didn't give 5 stars because it's crazy how you can't get a pick up order from the window. Just inconvenient and doesn't make sense. Also the girl at the window was rude about it. No customer service at all and no one was there just workers so no point to be rude when you aren't busy. Plus it says there is curbside pick up and that is a lie.

The last visit was early and very slow for the time of morning. The staff was slow. Had a simple order. I was inside, but they were more focused on the drive thru. Not a favorite for breakfast time. Food lacked much flavor.

The meat was not fresh. The steak was like cat food. The salsa was not fresh. Staff were nice, such a shame the food is a let down! Chicken flautas were bland and soggy in the middle.

Chicken fajita meat was very salty and fatty, and the drive thru attendant was borderline rude. We all have bad days, so ignoring the service, the food quality was poor.

Not as good as they used to be. They have really gone down hill. The rice is never cooked all the way through and is always crunchy. Our order is never right and the food just doesn't taste as good anymore. I used to love their enchiladas before they changed the recipe. We barely go now.

This is taco cabana’s idea of a $3 taco. Looks nothing like what’s advertised and it was salty. I only ate half of it, and threw it away. Waste of money.

I love Taco Cabana, but this particular location is not my favorite. I've been a few times just to give them another chance, but am consistently disappointed. The for time I went I ordered a few margaritas through the drive through. When the server was handing us the mini tequila bottles through the window she dropped it and it rolled under our car. Rather then giving us a new one, she expected us to get out of our car, pull the car up, and get the bottle that she had dropped. I was really annoyed and she didn't even apologize for dropping it. Service is slow is slow regardless of how many cars are in line. The last time I went to get breakfast tacos the fillings were very skimpy and the salsa looked old and had foamy bubbles on the top. I don't think I'll go back to this one.

We’ve been purchasing chicken fajita cabana bowls from this location for at least 4.or 5 years without any real issues. However for the first time this evening my cabana bowl contained several pieces of jalapeño..Others might not see this as a problem but for me extremely spicy or hot food is is a problem. My mouth was on fire! The recipe might call for jalapeños but I’ve never had any in my cabana bowls before tonight. I won’t be ordering cabana bowls from this location again.

First time here and was not a great experience. Came with my family after a funeral and we had to sit outside in the cold then I waited for ever to get our food which never came out. Everyone else got their food and I went to check only to find out they had skipped our order completely. My 4 kids sat while the rest of their family was eating enjoying their food. Worst experience ever for our family especially during this unfortunate time. Did not even get an im sorry or anything for them missing our order.

I went to this location around 8:00 p.m., so it wasn't during a lunch or dinner rush. It took about 25-30 minutes to get my food. DON’T GO TO THIS LOCATION- TERRIBLE SERVICE. Night staff was all kids and I had to repeat my order over and over again. The kid said “ok one second” and had me wait 3 TIMES just to come back and ask me to repeat my order each time. Ordered 2 ground beef nachos with the beans on the side only for them to SMOTHER both of them in beans. Also ordered a 3pc enchilada plate and they only gave 2. This location is a joke. Worth the drive to Arlington for better customer service and portion size. A quarter of the filling in the tacos compared to other Cabana locations. Looked smaller then a kid portion.

This place is terrible. We haven’t been here in a long time so decided to try it. Only one customer in here and it took like 20 minutes to take my order and get the food. We literally ordered 4 things and it was $20 and it was not good. The chicken flautas were really greasy and soggy. The whole meal seemed old and tasted terrible.

Workers get in no hurry. Been waiting over 20 minutes for food. Dining room is filthy and no one has cleaned up anything. Condiment bar is disgusting. Entire place is dirty. I wasn't given napkins or silverware when seated, the "double well whiskey and coke" I ordered was a small glass of ice and coke and 1/2 a shot of whiskey. The waitress was all over the restaurant tending to all sorts of tables. Took forever to get her attention. I ended up cancelling my order... I offered to pay for the queso I ate but I didn't want to be there anymore because I was baffled at how terrible it was. A manager came to assist us... He did make this right and he handled it very professionally.

I stopped by the drive thru to get a margarita and I asked to speak to the manager, the lady (Krystal I think ) who helped me said she was the general manager , but I know for a fact she wasn’t because I’ve been coming here for a long time and know the general manager is Hispanic. She was rude in the way she answered and dismissed me by saying they were too busy.

DO NOT DRINK FROM THE SODA FOUNTAIN! THEY DO NOT CLEAN IT! I was there earlier today and the staff was rude, they were out of chicken, and did not give me my full order upon arrival. Every restaurant i go to i check the fountain nozzles and the ones at this location were coated with mold, this is a serious health issue and must be fixed asap. the sad part is that it takes less than 2 minutes to clean them daily, so the fact that they aren't clean tells me the management does not care at all. Plastic utensils were also sitting in bowls of dust and filth, not to mention the disgusting topping bar, the ice build up in the machine also tells me it doesn't get cleaned on a regular basis either.

Just went there for dinner around 10:30 pm pull in to the drive thru and was told it was broken? So we went inside 3 girls were standing talking and a forth came a took our order. Went to get our drinks the entire fountain drink / utensil area was sticky drity and over all gross. We sat at one of the only clean tables to wait for our food. about 20 minutes went by so we checked to see what was taking so long, the same girl that took our order came up and asked what we had ordered?? Then they started to make it which took another 20 minutes. As we were walking to our car there were 2 cars in the drive thru getting food they had ordered?? Not sure whats suppose to be on the chicken fajitas but i thought it was more than chicken ??

I came to Taco Cabana on 4/24/25 at approximately 9:52pm. Me and 2 other cars arrived at the same time, I was the last one. I waited in the line and by the time I pulled up to the window it had just turned 10:00pm. The lady informed me that they were closed. I was confused because their website says they are currently open and close at midnight but she said that they close at 10:00pm. I informed her that I was in line prior to 10:00pm and that I can’t back out of line because of the way their lane is trapped in, so I had to wait for the cars in front of me were finished being serviced, so if she could please just take my order. She told me that they can’t take any more orders after 10:00pm. I tried my best to back out but kept hitting the curb so I just had to wait till the cars in front of me went through the line which was about 6 more minutes. I was frustrated and let the lady know (when they finally came to the window) to make sure they change their times on Google so other people won’t be inconvenienced to come and they are really closed. I should’ve just went next door to Chick-fil-A, because I know I would never had had this problem there.

Did a curbside pick up. Was to be ready at 4:36p, arrived at restaurant 15 past that time, called to let them know i was there. They said it should be out in 5 minutes as it was not ready. 15 minutes after that, still no order. Had to call store twice to get someone to answer, young that answered truly didn't care about customer service. Only said they were still making the order. It is now over 40 min past when it was to be ready.

Dont leave reviews often but just couldn't let this one go. This was the worst experience we have ever had. 1. No silverware when we asked for silverware 2. One of the meals looked like it had literally been put together in outer space. 3. Asked for sour cream on the tacos and they were put into plastic ramicans. 4.the chicken quesadilla was missing half of the chicken and cheese. 5 I can't say I've ever had bad service by an employee on a drive thru until this meal. The pic is of one of the meals that was opened in the parking lot of the taco cabana, and no we didn't get into a rollover accident with the meal prior to the pic.

I was about order but while waiting in drive thru I read all the reviews, and realized that this group is very efficient as they do not respond to bad reviews but only the good ones, this is very smart as if they were to respond to the bad ones it would require them to hire additional personnel, I'm sure this idea was developed by the same individual who decided cleaning the restaurant was a waste of money, I can only imagine how much money they saved just as I did by choosing not order here. 1 star is an over statement. I don't understand how 3 times in a row they've forgotten half of my order. (2 cabana bowls and gordita bites) and they take FOREVER to take orders and get your food to you. I've been waiting "in the front" of the store in my car for 15 minutes for ONE ORDER of gordita bites. Get it together, Taco Cabana. 😒

I give this experience a Negative 11! We bought 4 beef tacos, we received 4 good greasy tacos!!! Chips w/cheese, and 2 Dr. Peppers. We received: Stale chips, cheese was good and 2 Root Beers!!! What the heck!!! Not our 1st, visit!! Definitely the last!! This location is the WORST! If I didn't live so far I would have taken it back!!

Horrible service and food tonight. It should not have taken 30+ minutes to get our order and to be told after waiting that part of your order isn’t available after a certain time. Staff need to be trained on the companies policies and know them! Manager working with one glove on one hand with LONG nails sticking through the glove. Another employee had a hair net on his the back part of her hair while long braids were hanging down in the front. What was the purpose of the hair net? Please do better.

The store manager stated this place closes at 10 on Thursday when it clearly says online they close at midnight. Cars were constantly driving up unaware of the store closing. Because I drove up at 10:00 someone came on speaker and said they were closed. Now common sense would be to put sign on the speaker since she claimed corporate has not updated the hours online. Her attitude was snappy and well if she took the time to come out to tell us they are closed, than she could have taken 2 minutes to make a sign and put it on the speaker so that other drivers would not try to drive around and block others from trying to get out.

Very dirty!! I've never eaten at a Taco Cabana and I never will because of this location. I walked in and an employee was at the register and looked up but never spoke. I spoke and she walked away. I later overheard the others saying that she was off work. She had a pair of shoes in her hand and walked through the food prep area tossing her dreads. I went to the restroom and another employee was also walking in. She didn't even wash her hands when she was done. I took a couple of pics as I waited for a door dash order. You can see that the shoes were left on a counter. What a shame.

Why did I try to eat here? Why did I spend my hard earned money here? I spent 11 dollars on a Dr.pepper the food was trash, how can you messup on Nachos? Well the manage to do so.

I ordered a chicken cabana bowl and I specifically told them I wanted an extra chicken and I was charged for it and didn’t get the extra chicken. And the cabana bowl was not good at all. I don’t know what was wrong with it, but never again.

I’m starting to feel like this is the hood Taco Cabana, why wouldn’t your fryer be working. I think the associate lied because it’s 9:30 on a Monday night. I do not believe the fryer is not working, they cleaned up to early not expecting customers because they are ready to go home.

Horrible management. Had 3 people scheduled during a Saturday lunch rush. Took nearly 40 mins to get our food, and it was wrong. Would never recommend this location, but definitely not the employees fault. Terrible management.

Food is always good, but the service sucks. 1-29-26 10:50pm and I hope that fool remembers me. He had me wait 10 mins because he said he was doing a big online order. Only to come back on after 10 mins and say the only protein he has left is chicken. Also, he is out of a bunch of other crap. The fool could have said that 10 mins ago since he was looking at the big order the whole time. Also, that place is falling apart and is in need of a makeover. It is starting to look like a hole-in-the-wall restaurant.

I am completely disgusted by the meal we received today. We ordered the new brisket tacos and chicken wrap based on the photos, but what was served to us was a total disgrace. The brisket tacos were tiny and tasted terrible. The chicken wrap was even worse—mostly lettuce and tortilla, with chicken so burnt and dry it was inedible. To make matters worse, the water we were given had a chemical taste that made us fear for our health. It is hard to believe what we paid for food that is literally inedible and potentially unsafe. We used to enjoy Taco Cabana back when they served complete, quality meals. Now, they provide significantly less for more money, and the quality is non-existent. We left the restaurant hungry and had to pay for a second meal elsewhere. We will not be back.

I am very disappointed in this location. This is my hometown location. I was there a few Fridays to go for an event decided to stop in on my way home it was before 9:00 according to the sign on the door it tells me the lobby close at 10:00. But the doors are locked on the inside nobody came to the door for an explanation. I'm trying to reach out to the company to get this resolved. Also I witness a doordash delivery driver I'm trying to pick up his order it says all delivery drivers must go to the drive-thru which on a Saturday night was super busy.

We stopped in for lunch I ordered a beef burrito w cheese only an one hard shell 🌮 what I got was a beef burrito rice beens no cheese an no hard shell taco 😅 sad case when food is as high as it is an you can't get what you pay for my friend order the number on since it comes with a hard shell taco he gave me one of his. As a restaurant you need to do better an fruit fly flying around the fountain for drinks. Not happy .

I had not eaten at taco cabana in a long time, but I decided to take a shot again. BiG MISTAKE! I dined in, and it was gross. The food took a while to get ready even though there were no customers (should have been a sign). The food was not good, had no flavor. The salsa bar was completely empty. There was a fruit fly infestation. Flys were all over the soda drink area and everywhere around the restaurant. (Though they did have a venus fly plant to help their situation) Even the light fixtures seemed like they had not been cleaned in years! Definitely will not be returning back to this place.

So I went to purchase 9 breakfast tacos snd 2 large Dr Peppers. I get home to take a sip of my drink and its Root Beer. They are both Root Beer. Then I start to open my breakfast tacos and their is hardly any potato and egg in my tacos. Every single one of the 9 tacos has any filling. The last time I bought breakfast tacos we found a hair in the egg now it’s no filling. It just keeps getting worse.

Horrible experience. Arrived with a coupon for buy 1 plate get one free. (We were a little confused as to what items were approved for the coupon) We asked for combos and were immediately shut down and told what we wanted wasn't valid with the coupon. Instead of the team member explaining what was ok to order, I figured it out. (Drinks not included, the combo) Team member Cassandra, who was taking the order, was clearly annoyed and had very little patience with us. We ended up ordering 2 hatch street taco plates. 20 minutes later, we had to inquire about our food, and it was handed to us at the counter. A food number tent was never given to us. Due to her lack of patience, she didn't get our order correct. We were given 2 carne asada plates. We returned both plates and were handed one plate back. After some back and forth with Cassandra, she decided to put in a new order for 1 plate of hatch street tacos. 10 minutes later (mind you, this is now 30+ minutes later) we received our hatch street taco plate. The tacos were mediocre. Not great. Although she replaced one plate, it was done with clear annoyance. Aside from the order being wrong, the attitude, as well as the time it took, the restaurant was in disarray. The salsa bar wasn't appealing to the eye, nor was the rest of the restaurant. The attention was placed at the drive-thru while the lobby was neglected.
