Wallie's of Greenwich New York. The renovations took a while because of covid. It's just beautiful outside and inside . The detailed work inside that building now I understand why it took so long to reopen the service is excellent the atmosphere is perfect friendly great for families plenty of room inside and upstairs nice bar plenty of TVs food is excellent don't miss this place you got to check it out enjoy.
Great food, poor service. Not enough staff! Maybe the bartender could help instead of just talking.
Good food, good atmosphere and good service. Quick and food was delicious. New local to the area and this will definitely be one of our go to places!
If you're looking for a restaurant in this area, just go here. It's awesome--elevated food, good atmosphere, attentive and fast service. I am in disbelief at how pleased I was with my visit.
The renovations are amazing! Be sure to look at the pictures on the way to your table/booth. The atmosphere was casual and friendly and perfect for families and/or couples. Our server was excellent. She was both friendly and attentive. The menu is limited right now to just "pub food" but it was absolutely delicious. I had the turkey BLT sub with fries. The sub roll was toasted (which I love) and the pepper mayo finished it perfectly. The fries were tasty and came to the table hot. My friend got the house salad with grilled chicken and the clam chowder, both of which she said were very good. I will definitely be returning and I cannot wait to see what they do with a full menu :)
Everything was perfect. My husband and I went here for our anniversary and it was wonderful. Prime rib was the best we have had in a very long time. Very reasonable price also. Staff were friendly and professional. We will definitely go back.
Great atmosphere!!! Service awesome!!! Loved the food!!! Thank you!!!
A total hidden gem that we stumbled upon travelling from. Southern VT back up to NY on a Saturday evening. Had to find something to eat and there weren't a lot of options, found this place and stopped in. Very large place with a bit of different feeling in each room, a casual decent seating area, a hometown diner area behind the bar, and a bar with a bit of a dive feel to it. Very clean and well kept, service was very friendly and welcoming. Food was great, well prepared and there was a wise selection available from prime rib to burgers. Had a burger that was perfectly medium rare, the blend of beef makes for a delicious burger as well. I also have to highly recommend the cheese curds for an app, not sure what they put on them but they were amongst the best I've ever had! If you are in the area and need something to eat, this is the place to go.
We stopped in on 8/24/21 after we saw that they had recently opened. The space looks revitalized and fresh. The menu is limited at this time as they navigate supply issues and such, but what they do currently offer was well prepared. The Cowboy Bites (I think I have the exact name wrong) were a tasty way to begin. I had the patty melt and thoroughly enjoyed it. My girlfriend had the Fish-n-Chip Po Boy and spoke highly of it, especially the light and crispy batter on the fish. Our waitress was pleasant and attentive. Looking forward to the expanded menu as well as our next visit. Thank you and good luck, Wallies!!
We stopped by as we were headed home from Salem. We had been to the “old” restaurant and shocked at how nice the transformation has taken place. I had the schnitzel and my wife, caprese sandwich. Both were excellent and we enjoyed it at the bar. There was a private party so we sat at the bar and enjoyed the action and great bartending! We will come back as it was fun and a great dining out experience!
The food and portions were extremely good. The service and atmosphere were also very good, I really love how they saved alot of the original building. People have been coming here from the track over 50 years.
Excellent place to have a meal if you are in the Cambridge, Salem or Greenwich area. Wonderful cozy setting in the bar area we sat in. Nice drink selection, great tap choices, and wines. Fairly priced also. Generous house salad with home-made raspberry vinaigrette. Would buy it if they sold it! Also had the Wallie burger. Amazing beef blend that came with a huge portion of fries. Our server, Sadie - was very helpful and super knowledgeable about the beers! The place has a sprawling number of dining areas, loft and outdoor seating. I f we lived closer this would be the go-to pub. Must go back.
Wallie's was so great! The atmosphere was spectacular! The food and drinks were even better! My wife and I had the nachos then burgers and everything was absolutely delicious! Then I finished with the key lime ice cream sandwich which was such a treat! Yum!
Went here by accident one day (long story, got lost in the area lol) and the food, service, and atmosphere was fantastic! It's now at the top of my list of favorite restaurants in the area. Everything we've had there was absolutely top notch. 👌 We are lucky to have Wallies in the community! What a gem this place is!
This place was great! We stopped after an exhausting day of travel with 2 more hours to drive. Wallie's provided a much needed place to rest. The food and service were great, and we left very satisfied. We will definitely be back when we travel through Greenwich.
Great to have Wallie's reopened in Greenwich. Finding good food in a nice environment is difficult in this area of the north country. Wallie's is currently serving a limited pub menu but everything is good. After a hard day, we stopped in (10/16/21) and sat at the bar. Nice selection of droughts available to have while watching college football games. We decided to split some nachos and a burger. Both were excellent. The burger bun was not just a sad grocery store bun, the burger was cooked to a perfect medium rare and the fries were excellent. The small sheet pan of nachos was loaded with chili, cheese and tomatoes. Plenty of good food for two. Looking forward to seeing Wallie's grow!!
Stopped here on way home from Saratoga Racetrack. Our first-time since the new Wallie's opened. As we entered - there was a red headed hostess who was very gracious and extremely helpful! We neglected to ask for her name - Sorry! After being seated, our server - Brittney/Brittany came right over to us. My husband had the "thinly sliced prime rib sandwich with sauteed onions etc." He said it was delicious. I ordered the baked haddock dinner. The only issue with the haddock was it had been marinated in garlic oil which was a bit overpowering. Brittany offered to get me something else but I declined. I did eat it - the haddock was cooked to perfection - but a little less garlic would have made it even more perfect. The only real food complaint I had - which I did not mention - was the Brussel sprouts. I love Brussel sprouts but these were not cooked. I could not cut them nor could I bite into them. Thought I was going to break a tooth. A huge baked potato came with the meal which I took home. Also with my meal came a tossed salad - one of the best I have ever had at a restaurant. All in all, from the moment we walked in till the moment we left, it was a great experience! Our server Brittany was professional, gracious, accommodating, and on the ball! Something one always hopes for when dining out.
This was our first time here and had heard they had just renovated. My wife had the Reuben DenkenBurger and in had the Wally Burger. Service was great and our waiter did a fine job looking after us. We will definitely be back and can hardly wait for the full menu to come out.
Surprisingly great! What we initially thought was a small restaurant in a small town actually was an amazing place. The bar is beautiful, cozy and rustic, has 2nd floor seating area overlooking the bar. The dining room is bright and inviting with large tables and comfortable booths. The staff is attentive and friendly. Our food was delicious and plentiful. Highly recommend for a great dinner and enjoyable experience.
This is my first time visiting Granville, and I was taken to Wallie’s — best decision made! Love the food, drinks and laughter. Kudos to Lily and Colby for making our experience amazing!
One of our favorites on our trip to Vermont that we ate their twice!! Very convenient and open till 9 when other places close earlier. Staff was so kind and friendly. Pasta and salad was really good. They have fun appetizers and tasty desserts too. We also fell in love with the products they offer in the front of their store from local farms. Thank you Wallie's for the good food and good mood!
Decided to bring a couple friends to Wallies for a meal to catch up... We were seated right away, and in light of St. PATRICK'S day we all decided on our particular meals! Corned beef and cabbage, Shepherd's pie, and the Reuben were all great! Drinks were also good.
Place was very nice quick service. Very friendly staff congratulating my daughter on winning her softball game. Food was delicious and it was very refreshing in the air conditioning but it also had outdoor seating. We will definitely be back.
Very friendly staff, great food and nicely decorated for the holidays!

My son and I dropped in for a late lunch today, and both got the Wallie burger. I have no words... The best burger I've had in 30 years. I didn't even put any condiments on it! The fries are equally tasty and crisp, without being greasy or overcooked. And the wait staff is friendly to boot! Can't WAIT to return with my friends!
We had an excellent Easter Brunch today! The food is top notch, service was kind and sweet, nice touches all around for Easter! Very accommodating to our family asking if we had a wheelchair, which we did. Will definitely be back
Food is good... service is great. The only thing I would say is that they need to dim the lights in the dining areas.
Friendly service and good food! The portions were terrific, huge even. We both had the fish and chips. I think we could have split one order!
The food is delicious and the staff very good. I like the set up of the space. Last time I was there a mix up happened with the meal, but in the end they made it right. Thank you. I look forward to eating there again with family soon.
Very busy neighborhood restaurant and for a reason. Food was great, simple fare but cooked very well. Service was friendly and staff were all quite kind, even though very busy. Able to accommodate dietary restrictions . Affordable. Recommend reservations
Four of us dined at Wallie's for the Three Course Early Dinner Special. We got the prime rib, chicken and haddock dinners. These come with soup or salad, veggies and a baked potato. To finish it off it comes with a full size dessert. (which we got to go) Portions are plentiful. Everything was very fresh. All of our meals were delicious. Restaurant is very clean and atmosphere is cozy. Wait staff was amazing. Wish we came to this little gem before now. We will definitely be back.
Our only regret is that we didn't go much sooner!! We had the renovated Wallie's in mind for quite awhile and finally made it there for an early dinner. We had one of the best dinners ever in a blend of lovely classic and modern decor and atmosphere. I have never before had such a tender and perfectly cooked prime rib. And, carrot cake that was amazing. Our service was prompt and courteous. We are looking forward to returning as well as planning for a family gathering in one of their event spaces.

The prime rib was fork tender and delicious, but the vegetable combo (brussel sprouts and carrots) was disappointingly very undercooked... Still hard! This was my third time there and the previous times evreything was great, so this may have been just an off night.
The restaurant is very nicely remodeled. The staff is very nice and attentive. The beer and food menus are limited but said expanding in the future. Very good first impression.
Menu offers a good variety, it's clean, the service is good, bar has a nice selection of liquor and beer. Everything I've had there has been very good.
Always enjoy stopping by for a pint of Sam Adam’s seasonal beer at the bar…. Why all televisions must constantly play golf is a mystery.
Food was good and the service was great. We had chili (could be a bit spicier), baby little neck clams, house salad with chicken and wedge salad. Dessert was great -- apple pie (warm) with melted cheddar cheese and ice cream. It'll be even better when the menu expands from pub food to a wider variety.
So my gf and I recently went here and had food and some drinks and we both loved it! It has a nice pub feel. Yes the menu is small but it was really good. The beer selection was decent as well, I think they have 12 taps. Yes they could have a speciality cocktail menu but that isn’t a big deal IMO. We mostly shared apps. Clam chowder, potatoes beer kegs that I absolutely loved, and we also had cowboy bites. Picture is of the potato kegs. We will definitely be back to try some of the other things on the menu. Edit-been back a few times the menu really hasn’t gotten bigger, the hours are kinda awful and it’s expensive for what you get.
We were surprised by very great warm pita bread and fresh made hummus.

Food is probably best in the area. However 16 for a burger is not justified, it was a very normal burger. Building is fairly loud when it gets busy. Place is nicely decorated. It tries to mimic higher end dining without delivering on flavors. For a better and more reasonably priced burger go to the rolling radish.
Great atmosphere. I ordered a prime rib and it was a little flavorless but they gave me a good amount of it. So it made me feel better about spending so much. The food needs more seasoning if I were to add some constructive criticism. This place has a lot of potential.
Enjoyed dinner after golf. Just had sandwiches, they were good. Nice looking bar area. Guess they have some type of roof area for partying. Pleasantly surprised for new find.

Was very disappointed.. Was expecting to have a nice dinner, not pub food. The dining room was so loud it you couldn't even have a normal conversation.. I will say that my fish and chips were good.. The hamburger was over priced and not cooked medium rare.. Was very disheartened..
I ordered a bowl of Italian wedding soup to go. It was $9.95 for a very small cup (maybe 10 oz, but I doubt it). Got home. There were 3 tiny pieces of carrots, spinach, a few meatballs and broth. No pasta. Truly disappointed. Tasted ok, but really?
We visited this establishment twice. It’s a nice looking place inside, very cozy. The food is overpriced for what they serve. The fish and chips were previously frozen and no flavor. The fries over cooked. When we entered the building and walked to an empty table in the bar area we were asked to leave as I wasn’t aware we needed reservations nor was i told so by the 3 girls standing at the desk. We went out to the desk and they brought us back in to the same table. The waitress was a little disturbed about it and then she says we have 75 minutes to eat and leave as we did not have a reservation. We should have made an exit at that point. We felt a lot of pressure to leave, on the way out we noticed a good amount of empty tables.

3 menu items ordered, all 3 were wrong. One of them was not even what the menu described as well as missing the bbq sauce. I was told " the cook says that's what it is supposed to be" . Our server was very sweet about the whole ordeal. Definitely no one in the kitchen making sure the orders go out correctly.
Wallis’s is beautiful. That’s about it. Food was cold…soup, prime rib, vegetables…all cold. Waitress had no idea if they even had bread. Was told vegetable of the day was carrots and squash, we got carrots, broccoli and cauliflower.
Ordered 35 minutes ahead.....waited almost a half hour past pickup time. The food has always been good at this place. However, the haddock was slightly dried out with panko bread crumbs as a topping....nothing special. The manager which was nowhere to be seen offered free desert to try and make up for my wait. Having waited another five minutes for the free desert that never appeared as an olive branch. I decided to leave. I'm not sure if it's a case of miscommunication between the hostess and the kitchen or what. I told the hostess that you do realize I called ahead 35 minutes..... there's a reason you call ahead. I was told yes it will be ready upon arrival! If you can't coordinate when food should be ready perhaps takeout should not be offered. Please update your menu Wallies!
