So yummy! We got the taco platter (#3) and it was delicious. Taco Tuesday tacos were very small and pricy at $2.50 each but they were very good too. Loved the space, atmosphere and decor.

This place is an absolute gem! The tacos here are truly exceptional. I ordered the special fish taco and it was a revelation. The Mahi-Mahi was grilled perfectly—incredibly flavorful and naturally sweet. When paired with a squeeze of fresh lime, the aroma and taste were simply divine. Beyond the food, the restaurant itself is spacious, stylish, and impeccably clean. I will definitely be coming back here the next time I'm in the area. Highly recommended!

Terrific drinks with wonderful service and the music wasn't over the top loud. But it's the food that hits the comfort zone for the subsequent walk on the boardwalk. Lunch or dinner the food tastes fantastic.

Stopped at Taquería El Güero while driving through Salinas and this place did not disappoint! 🌮🔥 The tacos were on point — homemade tortillas, juicy meat, and salsa that hits with real flavor. If you’re in town, this spot is a must-try. And big shout-out to Cristal at the counter — super friendly, great energy, and customer service that makes you feel welcomed the second you walk in. Her smile is worth a million bucks. 😄

Homemade tortillas, music, delicious drinks!!! Can’t beat that. A little hidden gem - and this is coming from a Mexican!!!! Great Mexican food at the coast!!! Had 3 tacos, carnita and asada with beans and rice…all gone! Great please to come to!!! Highly recommended

The food was excellent! And spicy. There was plenty of food. We both had shrimp which were large and cooked perfectly. At first we thought it was expensive for a taco joint ,but once we tasted the food it was worth every penny.

If you’re looking for DELICIOUS flavor packed authentic mexican food, this is definitely the place to go. My husband and I both got the burrito. It comes with two puréed salsas (An avocado lime salsa, and a red salsa. the avocado salsa had the tiniest hint of heat for me, but only after I had had a few bites with it.) normally inside the burrito, we opted to have them on the side. My husband got the pastor burrito and I got the asada. I was happy surprised to see SO much meat in the burrito. If I could give a 10/10 rating I would. So delicious, flavorful, and plenty of food! My picture is actually only half the amount of food we got, just one half of my burrito was enough to fill me up. Big thank you to Taqueria El Guero for the fantastic meal and service!

First time here. What brought us in was the beans and chips. Such a great and tasty idea.however we didn't get an order of them, bummer. But the food was amazing. Feria tacos and fish tacos are to die for. I wish this place was in my town, in 3.5 he's away. But we just might come back tonight and try something else on the menu.

The food is very delicious! A little overpriced but worth it! We came on a Tuesday when they have tacos for $2.50 and they were bomb! The micheladas are amazing! You need to try one. The ambiance was very relaxing. Waitress was very nice and food came very fast! Will return!

Delicious, homemade tortillas combined with flavor packed meats made this a hit taco night for me and the Wife. They also have a food truck on Grande & Cortland in Arroyo Grande if you're cruising through. We tried a plate of their famous birria tacos and then a mix taco plate that included a carne asada, carnitas and pastor. The birria, OMG, so flavorful, very juicy and absolutely worth the mess, make sure you bite over your plate hahaha. The dipping juice, WOW, I also used it on my other tacos, it is sooooo good! For the mixed plate, the pastor and asada were my favorites, the carnitas just didn't hit flavor wise for me, but I'm more than willing to try again. The atmosphere was chill and low key. The Crew were nice and seemed to be on it. We also tried their pineapple fresca which was very refreshing. The price might be considered high compared to other great hole in the wall spots, but it's in downtown Pismo and you have to pay the high rents so it makes sense. It's definitely a great spot to enjoy some tacos and great company!

A little pricey for tacos but they are pretty big and delicious so I'd return if in the area. The workers there are nice. I ordered a guava margarita while I waited for my Togo order and it was not only delicious but very well made. The carne asada tacos and birrira tacos with beans and rice were a hit. I also ordered the quesadilla birrira style but it was too soggy so I wouldn't order again. The other two however were a hit. If you eat inside its a pretty large establishment with plenty of good seating and lighting. Great service. Great food. Yea. I'd recommend to others.

We’re local here in Pismo and usually have to go to Oceano for good Menudo, but finally somewhere here in Pismo that has great service and excellent food. Today I had the Menudo, my rico, pasta and all! The chips and salsa were homemade as well. The ambiance is peaceful with music in the background. The customer service was excellent, (something that is hard to find these days, especially in youngsters). Will be sharing and recommending this place for sure, just up the street from the pier on the boardwalk. PCH and Pomeroy. Don’t let the quaint little shop fool you. It’s a gold mine in taste, price and customer service!

Mexican food here is great!! We enjoyed our torta de asada and birria tacos. Both dishes came with plenty of flavorful protein with that fresh off the grill and fresh out of the oven taste The cheesy birria tacos came with a delicious dip broth (a bit over salted but very very yummy) and was topped with a couple of sauces - think: avocado/cilantro and the other one reminded me of Sriracha sauce but on the lower kick end of it. The meat itself was certainly tender and tasty with that distinct birria aroma and flavor. The friendly gentleman who took our order was the perfect person to ask about the Michelada drinks. He offered a sample of the condensed mix they use to season the beer. We enjoyed our drinks very much. They had several other delicious sounding flavors for alcohol beverages and non alcoholic drinks. We will be back!!

Located in the heart of Pismo on the corner of Dolliver St. and Pomeroy Ave. Very short walk to the beach. There's street parking, but can be hard to find an open space during peak hours. I ordered their 'Taco Plate' which has 3 handmade corn tortilla (street) tacos with a side of rice and beans. For dessert, I had their '3 Leches cake'. It's a bit pricey, but my meal was satisfying. Not the best tacos I've had, but were tasty with fresh ingredients. They currently have a "Taco Tuesday" special, $2.50/street taco with the purchase of a drink. Besides tacos, their menu consists of popular Mexican food items such as 'Quesadillas, Tortas, Birria Queso Tacos, Burritos, Nachos, Aguachile (raw shrimp)'. As for drinks, they have 'Agua Frescas, Margaritas, Beer, and Micheladas'. 'Flan and 3-Leches cake' for dessert. Service at the counter was great. Shout out to 'Alexis' who was welcoming, friendly, and extremely helpful with the menu'. He was very inviting even though we had our dog with us. The restaurant has plenty of tables and TVs throughout playing live sports with a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere. Overall, we had a good experience here.

The atmosphere of the place is quite pleasant and clean, which is a positive aspect. The service I received was satisfactory, but I couldn’t help but notice that the establishment was rather empty during my visit. Unfortunately, the real disappointment came from the food. I ordered a torta, and to my dismay, it arrived cold and saggy, lacking the freshness I expected. I also tried the tacos; while the flavor was decent, it didn’t make up for the overall letdown. Given that I spent $50 for just two dishes, I can’t say I found it to be worth the price. Based on my experience, I wouldn’t recommend this place.
