Food was so delicious people were so friendly and it's an a+ and u should have good business real soon nice job and I'll be back soon
New Owners seem to be committed to a warm & welcoming establishment. Service was great and the ambiance and setting are charming. Menu is varied and the quality and presentation of the food is very nice. We will be back!
Great great atmosphere! We are so excited to see the Firehouse open again. What a great amenity to this town. Welcome Sullivans. We are so happy to support you.
Ignore prior poor reviews. New owner, new management, new vision. The food was great and the service friendly and attentive. A welcome addition to the North Country!
The lady greeting people talking our name was so sweet and remembered my face for seating, waitress Brittney was so sweet and professional. The food was exquisite, 10 out of 10. The owner greeted us at our table and was so friendly. Definitely a wonderful experience. Can’t wait to return!!!
A huge, warm welcome to the next chapter of the Firehouse! Welcome Sullivan's Firehouse !! Callie Sullivan, owner along with her daughter Lila have brought the Firehouse to life! I was lucky enough to enjoy the friends and family night last night. Delicious food, amazing drinks! ( try the spicy marg! AMAZING ) and wonderful warm atmosphere! Congratulations to Molly and Joe, the restaurants operators for creating this wonderful addition to Hague!! Cheers!
The new owners are lovely! Great food, environment, and staff!!
Sullivan’s Firehouse restaurant is a unique gem. It sits alongside the beautiful and mesmerizing Hague Brook with both indoor and outdoor dining. The staff, drink selection and delicious food (including many gluten free options) are top notch. Thank you so much to the Sullivan family for reviving a local legend in Class A style!
Best place in Hague. It’s the summer place to be in 2026.
Just had a sampling of appetizers, entrees and desserts. Each bite was better than last. Every dish was perfectly crafted with subtlety unique flavors. The desserts were unnecessarily delicious; chocolate peanut butter delight, fireside chocolate torte, blood orange sort and a mango cheesecake. Can’t wait to go back for another meal.
Très bonne ambiance et les plats sont très bons, mais en grosse quantité. Très bon accueil 👍🏻😘
Abby absolutely RUNS this bar. drinks are top notch and service is quick. Abby is a professional bartender. Abby IS. Firehouse.
Love the burgers and veggie burgers!!! Oh and the homemade chip!! All yummy!! And I know good food - I’m from Chicago😍
Always excellent. The staff showed patience and were fantastic. Great place for a good relaxing time.
Great food, wonderful service and a beautiful setting. Treat yourself to a meal here.
New chefs over the years has only heightened my anticipation/appreciation for this Northern Gem!
Very nice location good food and great beer selection
Friendly staff and excellent food with local beers on tap
Great food. Only open Friday and sat. Call ahead
Fun place, great food and staff. We will be coming back
Best food option on the north end of the lake!
Great food and delightful interior design.
Tasty food, friendly staff..a MUST visit!!
Surprisly good- smart design, menu and service!
Had so much fun here a few summers ago.
Great food, excellent atmosphere
Great food and friendly staff!
Good service. Quality food.
Great food and atmosphere
Real cool spot, old firehouse converted to restaurant that opens to a deck hanging over babbling brook. Try the perch cocktail. Be warned on busy weekends to could be waiting for a while, and the wait staff though friendly are somewhat green. Super hard to find reliable talent in such a small town, especially since it essentially becomes a ghost town in winter!
Every summer I go back to the firehouse a) because it's the only nearby place but b) because it's great. The service is always very friendly whether you're a regular or its your first time, they always have new delicious food everytime I'm there and the bar is always good fun once dinner is over.
Was a great place to stop, we had dinner at the Bar, Alex was fantastic, food was very good, great atmosphere. Def worth stopping here, they could add a few more options, but what we had was very tasty.
I was there a few years ago and i had the most amazing dinning experience ever. The food was amazing and was a companied by and amazing atmosphere. Great place to go great location great food
Great Food. Great Service. Very Unique setting. Very nice outside dining area right along stream. The food was excellently prepared.
Great beers, wines, burgers and atmosphere. Service was friendly, food was out quick and overall a great dinner out! I will be back!

Outdoor tables are right on the woods, with creek. Menu is short, but Fiesta Bowl is superb. Portion was a bit small, but other tables ordering flatbread or burgers were served large portions. Caprese salad was also nice. Service good.
Truly the only place worth "going out" to within at least a 50 mile radius. Even if it weren't, I would recommend going even if it's a little out of your way. Picturesque locale and hip atmosphere. I went by myself and chatted with some friendly locals. (Side note: the booze and food is good too.)
First time! My Local friends took me last night! Had an awesome experience! I loved the place and the vibe is perfect and sitting on the deck is spectacular! Had some laughs and the Owners are awesome warm people!
Great service. Very good food. The menu has been simplified for a very pleasant dining experience, and yet there's still something for everyone. Glad the Firehouse is open again.
Lovely creekside open air location, interesting and locally sourced tasty food... A breath of fresh air considering lack of quality nearby options. We parked the boat at the public dock in Hague and made the short and pretty walk to the restaurant. They were very kind to our birthday guest as well. Would definitely recommend. Think the charge for fries/chips is slightly steep, but the food is well done and worth it overall as the portions are adequate.
The staff is very friendly and inviting. There were 4 craft beers on tap at 8 bucks a piece, they're served in mason jars which is a nice touch. Currently they're not using the kitchen but have a steady rotation of food trucks. The night I visited the food was Caribbean by Vashti's Kitchen Delight. The Jerk chicken was spot on! I highly recommend visiting regularly.
The Firehouse is an awesome spot located in the heart of the charming hamlet of Hague. They've got a large assortment of canned and draft beers (including a delicious local sour on draft!), a lively bar, and a lovely outdoor patio atop a babbling brook. As of Summer 2022, they're bringing in different food trucks and caterers every night, so the variety in food is delicious and exciting. Definitely worth the detour to check 'em out.
Phenomenal food. Had the Yardbird dish which consisted of a huge chicken meatball covered in tomato sauce over cheesy polenta. To. Die. For. Fried green beans were great too, the chili dipping sauce was super tasty. Service was fast and friendly. Atmosphere was really nice. They carry my favorite bourbon. Great night.
Drinks are Great! Very Nice Atmosphere! They do have Gluten Free Buns and Best Burger in town! Nicest restaurant around other then the Golf Course
I had an experience here one time while I was chasing a cat down the street that was lost for my family. I didn’t like the cat but I did care about my family. It was the first time visiting my mother-in-law and father-in-law. It was very important to me to find this cat as I was the person who had lost it. My father-in-law is soon to be father-in-law work for the CIA. There’s a circle of trust that was broken, and I intern duct in here to find my relief from puff the magic dragon, and found great relief inside the comfort of the delicious food inside of this establishment may peace be with you and all of your family.

Pretty location. Food food.
Great food land service. Accommodated a large group of 25 on their patio overlooking the stream and woods
Food offerings were unique and quite good. Waitstaff could be better....not very attentive.
Food was excellent and prices reasonable, portion were large. Service was lacking.
Excellent meal! A little pricey for the area. But I definitely will come back.
Chicken wings are amazing and summer salad is sooo good!
Great food and our waiter Josh was excellent! Will go back again next year. Get there early to sit outside by the beautiful Brook. Had the shrimp scampi with little clams over pasta. Was wonderful!

Nice change from Lake George. I thought the service was fine. Menu selection good and the overall taste was satisfying. Wasn't a real busy night so our meals arrived promptly. Nice place if you get bored of Lake George.
A great bar/ restaurant with a little something for everyone in the Hague area. They have a good selection of beer and liquor for their size, and their menu has a variety of options. The staff is friendly, and offers good service. From time to time in the summer, they also host bands, which are usually quite good. Indoor and outdoor dining options.
Wonderful little eatery in Hague, NY. Specializing in upscale comfort food, I've never had a bad experience. Caught them in their last weekend... so many menu items were no longer available. Burgers are delicious, as was the bean soup and field greens salad.
We did takeout from the Firehouse on a recent trip to Lake George. The folks were very nice and very helpful. The menu is limited but there were several specials to pick from. We ordered 5 different meals and 3 were good and two, not so much. All in all we would try TFH again.

Food was excellent, service was poor
Limited menu, good burgers!
Pricy menu. Limited choices
Overpriced but tasty, overall underwhelming but pleasant, love the patio overlooking the stream! Great adaptive reuse of firehouse, but lots of missed opportunities on the menu and with the undertrained summer staff. Add craft/local options and you'll be headed back in the right direction.

End of season and out of most menu items. Had a fried green tomato and it had a very long blond hair in it. Calamari was dry and bland.
Im all for supporting local, especially in a small town but this is some of the worst service, attitude, hospitality and food I've ever had. Called for reservations and were told they dont accept them. Arrived and they clearly had a reservation book at the hostess station. The bartenders dont know sweet from dry for wines or champagnes or how to make a mixed drink. The bartender also took only 2 drink orders at a time from a group of 6 joking that it was "small batch" bartending. The joke would have been awesome if the drinks hadn't been cr@p. The portion size was minuscule, literally like 3oz of chicken for an 8.00 upcharge on a salad. The grilled lettuce was just wilted from heat, no nice char whatsoever. I definitely wasted a nice vacay night at this dump, you need to have the patience of a saint and not really care what your food or drinks taste like to enjoy it here, also dont be too hungry. Should've stuck with a burger and fries.
What a cute backdrop. Pretty woods and beautiful stream running past. That part is 5 stars. But the food was really average and service pretty untrained. The ice tea was from a fountain and food really unseasoned. My kids wouldn't even eat the chicken fingers (eek). I got a tasteless flat bread that claimed to be using heirloom tomatoes, but got 3 quarter size slices of paper thin tasteless tomato. Their was also no flavor to the olive oil or mozzarella. The Tuna nachos (deconstructed) that my wife got was pretty and tasted "okay" but lacked in much tuna and could have been more substantive. If not for the setting the review would be way worse.

Yuck
waited 2 hours for food, no room, separated from rest of family, way too expensive (5 pieces of lettuce for 11 bucks) not recommended, sorry.
Very disappointed. They say they don't take reservations. Drove 30 minutes, arrived a little after 5 when they opened on a Monday night in the summer. Had 5 adults and one child, including my senior parents. Place was just about empty, told we couldn't be seated because they were full and the kitchen couldn't handle it. When we asked why they had tables reserved for people when they don't take reservations, we were told that it was for people arriving by boat? I don't know for sure but seemed like they had friendst hat they werew catering to. It just didn't make sense. And the manager seemed inconvenienced that we were there. Decided to wait a few minutes and have a drink because we drove all that way. Sat at the bar. We ordered 2 screwdrivers that came without ice, ordered 2 Moscow mules that were basically vodka and club soda and paid like $10 a drink. We don't blame thet young bartender but at $10 a drink you expect quality drinks. While we are sitting there they sat several parties about our size. It's too bad. Beautiful spot but they still need to figure out how to manage their restaurant.
