This is a beautiful place- very glad it is in this location. The staff was so kind and friendly. Beer obviously is fantastic-- we also had lemonade and fries with the kids on a quick stop through. Pizza was flying out the door so that must be good too. Lovely seating indoors in Ac and beautiful patio. Well done to Paradox Brewing after watching them grow over the years ( and the Beaver Overbite IPA is my recommendation).
The beers are great (loved the “you got pale”) and the pizza was fantastic.
Our service was super great, staff was all very friendly. I had the best pub pretzel EVER! Pizza was excellent as well. Beer had a wide variety and they sold single cans so you can mix and match. I ended up getting four new beers to try at home. 10/10 recommend.
I had the pleasure of hosting my baby shower at Paradox, the staff was very helpful and accommodating with all of my needs. Erika was a great help in the planning process and made sure that the whole day went smoothly!
This is the best food for a road trip stop in the Adirondacks. And just a minute away from the giant EV Charger station. It’s way better food than the restaurant at the Charger and that one is closed during the winter.
The service is great, very organized and friendly. The beer was extremely good. We had several of the beers and each was very good and exactly what you would expect. The pizza was absolutely phenomenal and a great representation of great New York pizza, wonderful pillowy crust, great taste. We had pretzels and beer cheese, which were both absolutely great, the beer cheese was spicy and delicious. Great place.
Busy cheery bar environment with indoor and outdoor seating. I like the menu very much, which has lots of choices but I always end up with one of the basics: pizza, (which is perfectly crunchy with puffy edges) or a burger and a really good beer. This time, I tried the blood orange kolch, and it was terrific.
Great beer and pizza. Good service too. Except for hostess who was not very friendly. Popular place to hang out
This place is great. The food was perfect. lots of beers all very good. I hit a lot of breweries all over and this one has everything. Pizza and fries delicious our party of ten were all satisfied. Wait staff friendly and knowledgeable. We will be going back, some of the family are going back now. Got the tip to check it out from Buffy and Mark from The Brookwood RV park, great place to stay.
Paradox Brewery is an amazing Adirondack experience. Great food on a menu, relaxed, but clean environment. Incredible pizza!
Awesome brewery! It’s HUGE and it was crowded when we went but the service was impeccable, we always had someone asking if we needed anything and our wait time was minimal. Great beer, great pizza (thank you for accommodating a vegetarian with no meat on half the pie) and live music. Highly recommend!
Great food, great beer! Try the Amber, it's delicious.
Much better in the off season! Beer, food, service and other drinks have improved dramatically from our visit over the summer.
Great stop along the way! Tasty beer, great food, and great service. We will be back!
10/10 would recommend. There are plenty of options for drinks and food. We came in Saturday evening on the 4th of july weekend. It was super busy, but I was extremely impressed with the service of the bartenders. They were working there butts off, making sure everyone was attended to. The wait for a table was a while. (About 45 minutes), but we sat at the bar. The bartenders gave us great recommendations and even tastes of beers that we weren't sure to try. They were so kind and compassionate and a pleasure to talk with. We will 100% be back when visiting the area. Kind staff, lovley company. Even when busy they are so attentive to everyone's needs.
Called the day before a special trip out to the brewery to confirm they would be open and doing takeout, when I arrived the next day I was told they were not doing takeout that day and couldn't get food. I had to go somewhere else.... Still would like to try again sometime..... Update: Went back a few weeks later and dined in... Great food!!
The scenery was amazing. The menu was good. We had eight people and three appetizers and seven different meals and everyone loved their food. The outside pavilion was really cool. Great for an event. They have Adirondack chairs and cornhole setup for people to hang out and enjoy. They allow dogs outside and have some water bowls around for them to use. Their new pavilion area looks like it would be amazing for a wedding. Overall it was just a lovely experience.
So incredible we decided to double back during the same trip to visit again. As a bit of a beer snob, I can’t recommend the One Handed Applause series enough— especially the Idaho Gem. The service was impeccable and so kind, especially since we were traveling with our elderly dog, who was more than welcome inside. We didn’t have food on our first visit, but it looked so delicious that my husband chose it for his birthday dinner. We were not disappointed. Can’t wait to visit again.
Great staff and great beer. Love their Helles and their The Great Kolsch Affair beer they are the best! I brought my dog to have some beer and pizza.. They love dogs, and it shows... I will come back often.
Five stars! Great service ! Staff were friendly, efficient and always made we had what we needed. Food was delicious! The pizza was huge and had an amazing crust! Highly recommend !
Extremely friendly staff, beautiful location and great beer.
My buddy and I still remember heading north to Ticonderoga and the North Hudson region for his bachelor party, some of the group hiking, and trying the local restaurants and bars. Paradox Brewery lives on in our minds as a place with delicious pizza, reasonable prices, and friendly and helpful staff. I recommend any hikers or lake fishing trips stop in if they enjoy a crisp beer in January, July, December, and every chance in between. 🍻 Check sites like Tripadvisor and AirBnB if you want a slice of the good life outdoors.
We came on a sunday 11/9 & the hostestt was so accommodating and sweet with us and our dogs. Beer was great, and service was awesome. Highly recommend. 🖤
The new location is amazing! The views are gorgeous giving the indulgence of the beer that more enjoyable. Delicious beer as always and outstanding customer service from all staff. I am happy for this crew as they have come a long way and continue to move forward with their awesome beer and business model. I am excited to see the awesome future Paradox has here at this new location. Paradox Brewery has the best beer in the Adirondacks! 🍻
Ummmm… how about yes! Surprisingly good pizza and great beer and drink selection!! Definitely a great option for the area but the service can be a bit slow. The large pizza is large - good for 3-4 people - and the small pizza is perfect for two to share. The appetizer pretzel with beer cheese is also great!! Update: Went back and tried the Paradox pie and that was especially good! I am usually not the biggest fan of white pizzas but I would definitely get this pizza again.
Such a great selection of beer! I love the variety and Paradox brews are all always delicious and creative. We stated going when it first opened in Schroon Lake. The new location in North Hudson is immaculate, huge, and filled with friendly staff. The views are really nice and outdoor dining is plentiful. We had a bratwurst and poutine. Both were very tasty.
Consistently great! Great venue, staff, food and drinks! We had the special white garlic truffle pizza this weekend. It was beyond outstanding! It should really be a regular menu item! One more thing, bring back the beer Bloody Marys! 😎
We recently planned a client dinner at Paradox Brewery this fall, and it was absolutely exceptional! The food and craft beverages were top-notch, and the service was seamless from start to finish. Their staff is professional, personable, and down-to-earth, making the entire experience enjoyable and stress-free. Erika, our contact, was outstanding - responsive, organized, and attentive, ensuring that every detail was perfectly coordinated with her team. Our group also enjoyed complimentary tastings and a private brewery tour, which made the visit even more memorable, especially for our out-of-state guests. If you’re looking for a unique venue for dinners, events, or private gatherings with excellent food, craft beer, and exceptional service, we highly recommend Paradox Brewery. It’s truly a one-of-a-kind experience😍🙌🍻
Tried this place on our way back from Lake Placid. Oktoberfest beer was really good. Highly recommend the smoked wings. They’re about a mild-medium spicy level but great flavor from the smoker that you don’t get with fried wings. We tried pulled pork sandwich which was great and buffalo chicken pizza surprised me because of how good it was. Would recommend checking it out
Very friendly group of people and nice vibe. I bit into the burger, onion rings and chips and instantly knew it was something different. The brioche bun was golden with the seal on it and just the right amount of toasted—soft enough to soak up the juices without falling apart. The patty was Perfectly seared, juicy, and seasoned so well. Would absolutely demolish again.
We make this a stop every year on our way up to Lake Placid. We have been going to Lake Placid every year since 2011. Paradox changed a little this year from last but they still have great beer selection. I have their double IPA and was not disappointed. They offer food there as well. The pizzas are great! Dog friendly with outside seating. Inside seating available as well if without dogs. Lots of parking and a free parking lot. They have a merchandise area to get beer to go as well.
We happen to be in the area and tried out the brewery for the first time. We were really pleased. Super cool with the big picture window next to the bar allowing you see into the brewery area. Food was tasty and quick. Everyone was happy with their pizza and I was happy with my burger. Pilser was great! I will be back. Thank you!
Spent a beautiful afternoon at Paradox to celebrate a birthday. The service was friendly (thanks Lizzie) and the views from the outside seating area were spectacular. The beers were FANTASTIC and crafted with care. We sampled every beer they had and enjoyed each one. The food was excellent and provided the perfect accompaniment to our flights. See pictures of the views and food! Highly recommended.
Beautiful building and grounds! Overall decent experience but want to make fellow brewery aficionados aware; we usually come to breweries because they tend to be "open range" and free-moving places for our kids to meander, but when we came last week it was a table service style restaurant. We tried asking if there was a way we could get drinks and walk down in the pavilion area but were told we couldn't. Not a deal-breaker but want other patrons to be aware of the style of the place. Beer is decent and the food options are good!
Visited Paradox on April 7 for a couple of beers. Talking with family, looked like a great spot to view the total eclipse the following day on April 8. So glad we did! It was an amazing spot to View a once-in-a-lifetime event. Nothing but blue skies and open views .I took a star away because they kinda were understaffed in the restaurant, tables were turning quick enough but the wait staff couldn’t keep up with demand. Sat for 20 minutes and wasn’t even glanced at by a server, but because of what was going on and how busy it was, it was sort of expected. Other than that, it was an amazing day and a great location with great beer.
It’s awesome having a full-fledged brewery near Schroon Lake. I went to their old, smaller location and it’s exciting to see them expanding. When I last visited the inside wasn’t open yet, but I look forward to seeing it. The beer is great and it’s a fun open place to be with large shared tables. At the time there was a food truck there for food. The food was a bit pricey and took awhile cause it was cooked fresh, but it was delicious. I look forward to going back when the inside is open as well. If you vacation at Schroon Lake you have to check it out.
Stopped here for drinks while camping in the area. They are currently only serving outside, which was no problem at all. There was a TON of outdoor seating- under a tent, on their porch, under a big gazebo. Plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the gorgeous views. Staff was VERY friendly and gave us great suggestions for the rest of our long weekend (thanks Andre!). Beer was good- can’t wait to come back and try some of the new ones they have coming soon.
Great place to grab some dinner after a long day hiking a 46er. We were staying around a campsite near this brewery and every time we passed keep saying we would like to try it out. We checked it out and brewery was amazing. Grabbed their Beaver Bite beer, which had a nice pine taste. For food, grabbed their burger and poutine. Foods were tasty and filling. Overall, would definitely come back to grab more beers and foods.
nice atmosphere with rustic comfortable high ceilings and granite fireplace, good beer and other beverage options, food is good but a little pricey for what you get. I did not have the pizza but it seemed popular and looked good at the other tables.
This is a nice place. There is ample outdoor seating and we were fortunate enough to have a beautiful day. We were seated promptly. They have self service water outside for you. They don't offer flights to taste but do have 7 ounce glasses you can try. We ordered 3 to taste. All three were outstanding and we each ordered a larger glass of our favorite. They have a nice selection of food available so we ordered lunch. As to why I am giving 4 stars. It was an hour and 10 minute wait for the food. You want a restaurant to be busy which tells you it is good but I think that is too long. We just wish they would have told us the kitchen was backed up when we ordered. We could have decided to wait and maybe order a pretzel if they could get that out quickly as an example. We had plans after so it messed up our day a bit. When we decided we couldn't wait any longer we got up to leave and asked them to cancel our order. They told us it was coming out right then. We agreed to stay if it was in fact ready. The good news is the food was ready. When you have to wait that long you start thinking this food better be good. It was excellent. My wife had fish and chips (a special that day) and I had a pulled pork sandwich. The staff was very friendly. Apologized for the wait and comped us each a drink. We would come back. The food and beer was fantastic. We would just plan for the wait (at least if it's a Sunday afternoon)
We arrived at 5:30 Seated at 6:09 Beer was awesome. Food arrived at 7:20. It was okay. Staff was kind of rude.
Beer was delicious and atmosphere nice! Food was awful for the most part - pork sandwich was very good. Appetizer came after half the parties dinner. Not sure how you screw up fries and tater tots but they did! DO NOT order burgers!!! Potato chips were excellent 😉 Wait staff was slow and barely came out to check on us. I hear pizza is good so maybe they should stick to pizza and beer.
This rating is for the ipa and food. Pizza was good. Poutine had no taste , no salt in their pulled pork and fries were bad. Ipa was mediocre but many ppl seem to like it, though it was not for my liking
I'll start off by saying the beer is phenomenal and the location is perfect. Now to the service, it's horrible. Everyone is nice but it's totally disorganized. Our order was wrong and the pizza was undercooked. It's busy there but the service staff is everywhere at once. I went since the beginning almost and the last 3 times I went it's been kind of awful. Was ignored at the bar the first time so we just left. The second time they got our beer order completely wrong and the third time our orders was forgotten about and when it did arrive it was undercooked. We didn't want to complain because the help was in the weeds. Maybe having table sections would help? We want to come back but it's a 2 hour drive and it doesn't seem worth it when I can buy the beer in stores.
Awesome Pilsner. Worth the trip. Place is great, wait staff great. Burger looked great. But I don't think there was one molecule of salt or pepper on it though. Tasteless. Bun was good tho. But the Pilsner, excellente!
We have had many pleasant experiences at the brewery and decided to take visiting family members on a Tuesday night In July. We were very disappointed to find that only the annex was open with no table service and a very limited menu. I think the website or Facebook should inform people about this before they make the trip.
If you enjoy being ignored as you stand at the hostess station (three times as the hostess didn’t make eye contact and walked past us) waiting for someone to acknowledge you and seat you, then this is the place for you. If you’re not in a hurry and want to wait an hour for your food, again, this is the place for you. Never did anyone apologize, I’m assuming the kitchen was backed up. Never did anyone ask to see how we were doing after our food came out. Very disappointing experience.
Considering the location, it's amazing how Big the actual brewery is and its capacity. The beer was excellent. Went at night and the parking lot was very poorly lit and very slippery. They don't assign waitstaff so after getting our order taken, 3 separate staff came to take our order?? The menu is very small which was disappointing. We got a pretzel to share as most places have Huge pretzels. This was barely big enough for one person. It was also a Friday night and it was oddly quiet with no entertainment or music playing.
I enjoy the beer and the food. My biggest issue is I have been there three times and the wait for beer, food, and a table is always very long. Not trying to slam the staff at all I can see they are working and probably understaffed. Maybe a different process would improve the wait times, simpler menu, ordering counter, 1 bar tender just for walk up, etc. Its a convenient stop for me so I really hope they succeed and improve.
Excellent venue. Massive parking, plenty of seating options. Delicious, well priced beer. Food was a disappointment. We would go again, but would not eat at the satellite Food area again. Perhaps the table service restaurant area is better? My burger was under cooked and the flat- bread pizza was basically bread ~ lacked any culinary appeal.
First of all, let me say that prior to this visit, service, food, and atmosphere have always been excellent. Now my wife had never gone with me, so I took her here on Sunday, 5/26, to impress her with their pizza and other food (pizza was my main goal). So, as you can see in the attached pic, the pizza was a great disappointment! We ordered a 3-topping pie with Canadian bacon, onions, and pineapple. They were extremely skimpy with the toppings! Maybe one partial piece of an onion per slice (my wife even said she didn't think there were any onions, to which I pointed out, small pieces buried under the cheese). The sauce didn't even reach towards the end of the crust, and some slices didn't have any Canadian bacon, and some had no pineapple! Very disappointing! Maybe their better pizza makers only work weekdays? Anyway, in their defense, the service was great; someone checked on us every few minutes. And, they were absolutely packed, so probably running out of ingredients. But still, in that case, they should have said so ahead of time, and they shouldn't have charged us for 3 toppings; maybe 1 topping, if any. In any case, I will be going back, because I absolutely LOVE their pizza that I have had at lunch on weekdays! I'm hoping this was a one-time occurrence... One last thing I'll add, we also ordered a chicken & cheese quesadilla, which was disappointingly plain. So I would suggest they spice those up a little, add some grilled veggies, etc. But I'm no chef!
I was there today for lunch with family. Our waiter delivered our drinks and didn't return even though he walked past several times. Eventually I had to ask for someone to take our order. The new menu offers fewer options now. The pizza was okay and not as good as our previous visits. The salad was very small for the price. The flies inside were everywhere and annoying. It was expensive and not very good. The waiter could have had someone else come over if he was too busy or at least acknowledged us.
For the amount of people here its definitely understaffed lots of people standing around waiting not a good place today. Beers cold once you get one so we ordered took awhile for the beer to come out then over a hour for our COLD pizza to come out told our waiter paid $38 for 4 beers and got up and left not a good visit drove up fro lake george to go there never again.
Paradox Brewery is one of the worst breweries in the Adirondack area. Both Common Roots (Queensbury) and Lake George Brewery have craft beer that is miles ahead of this place. It makes me really sad to write this review, because I so badly want their beer to be better. I’ve tried their flagship (beaver bite) as well as their seasonal DIPA’s (weather series, southern hemisphere). All of them have this weird taste to them. the citrus really is not citrusy, and it has this caramel flavor that is really awful. 2 stars because their pilsner for 8.99 is actually solid. I even went directly to the brewery recently, thinking that maybe I had gotten old stock at the grocery store. They sold me beer over 3 months old and it had the same taste described above. Here’s a picture so you take me seriously.
We came to visit this brewery with the family after all-day hiking on Thur, August 8th, around 4:30pm. The service was good for a while, but then the place got super busy. Our food was mostly subpar. The pulled pork must have been dry, so my sandwich got soggy with the added water. My 5-year-old's burger was burned ( not sure if it was taken off the tab after we let our server know). Spicy cauliflower bites were good and the pizza was ok. We bought two 4-packs (double IPA for me, which was good, and a cider from another company that my wife was drinking at the place, which ended up being flat, lacking carbonation in all 4 cans). While I went to the bathroom, our server rushed my wife to sign the tab on the tablet, and she ended up leaving a 25% tip. Our total tab was $170.39 for 2 adults and 2 kids to eat, with 3 alcoholic drinks at the restaurant and the 8 to-go beers. Too expensive, too hyped up. Granted, this review doesn't come from your typical tourist. I don't cook for living, but I cook about 10 meals a weeks around the house, so I have high expectations when I go out. Take it as you will.
Pros: They offered to split checks for our party of ten in advance which was helpful. Serve gluten free pizza and cooked it on foil to accommodate an allergy. Cons: None of our food was salted. There were limited/disappointing options for predefined topping combos, therefore we did make your own. Each additional topping is priced extra when you make your own and the menu is NOT clear about that, and our waitress also did not give us any indication this was the case. They also neglected to cut my pizza before delivering it to the table requiring extra logistics on top of already having waited 30+ minutes for food. We ended up paying $43 total for an unsalted, uncut pizza. Overall a pretty mediocre experience especially if you're not there to just drink.
My pizza was cold and I ordered a glass of wine and it was oxidized. Please order fresh wine. Me and the table next to me had oxidized wine. I was really hoping to have a hot pizza and a glass with your adk views. It just killed the mood getting cold food and oxidized drink.
Don't sit at the bar, the servers only care about the tables, on my 2nd beer that took 15 minutes to get after 1st. Server hasn't been back to see if i wanted food, I did, but after 2 beers had to get out of there. Dont think my food would of came any quicker.need better reverse or a bartender to handle the bar.
My daughter and I went there for some pizza as we were staying down the road and had been here before. We knew they have great food. It wasn't very busy compared to how busy it was during the summer season when a bunch of my family and myself went . We were seated right away but that was the last we were acknowledged for a while. I had multiple employees look at us, with no one comming over. I wasn't in a hurry and im pretty patient so i was playing with my daughter waiting for someone to take our order. Then a couple other groups of people came in after us. They were attended to with in a couple of mins of sitting down. Then a group of people were seated next to my daughter and I. Within a few mins someone came over to help them. I turned around and nicely advised the waiter we had been waiting for about 20 mins and no one had helped us. He seemed surprised even though he had looked at our table multiple times since we sat down. I felt like my daughter and I didn't matter. She's younger and I wasn't with anyone else, so we wouldn't make them as much money as the other parties. Even the people that came in after us that were seated next to us, who put their order in after us got their food before we did. All we got was pizza and fries. I was truly disappointed with the customer service we received. ☹️
Stopped in on 10/12/24 I ordered the chicken wings they were uncooked and now I have food poisoning. This place got so busy with all of the leaf peppers and hikers the waitstaff didn’t know what to do, a line of people waiting to get seated all the way to the door. Hopefully this place gets a change in management but until then I would avoid, your better off getting food at Stewart’s.
Very disappointed with our experience. We traveled 2 1/2hrs to check out some of the Adirondack breweries. Paradox was our first stop. The atmosphere was great, and so was the beer. The service was more than terrible and the food followed right behind. We were sat and twenty minutes passed before a server came to our table. We ordered soft pretzels because the wings were sold out, and they came out very quick, but they were extremely dry and hard. The waitress did not provide plates, silverware or napkins. We had to get them off a rack ourselves. We were a party of 5, our food came out one by one, an over cooked cheese pizza, cold pulled pork without the coleslaw it said would come with it. The Caesar salad was made of the ends of the head of lettuce, the yellow lettuce and a smidge of dressing, the bbq chicken sandwich had a dot of bbq sauce on the bun, very dry. The waitress never came back to check on us so we had another server provided us with our check. I would not recommend going to eat at Paradox, maybe stop in and grab a 4 pack to go.
Our first time at brewery, we were looking forward to it. Took us awhile to get anyone to even seat us. Looked like all staff was having a bad day, very down atmosphere. We ended up having a beer and leaving.
My wife and I attend the Adirondacks several times a year for hiking trips. We absolutely adore the area and all it has to offer. On our most recent trip we returned to Paradox Brewery for dinner. Our first experience here was marred by poor service, but we decided to give them a second chance. We had rushed off an all day hike, cleaned up and headed straight to Paradox. Upon arriving it was noted to be very busy. We spoke to the hostess who directed us to a table in the outside area, advising the inside dining was full. We went to the table as directed and sat for approx. 15 minutes without anyone coming by. We spoke to the people at the table beside us who were also upset at the complete lack of service. I finally went to the hostess and enquired if anyone was available to take our order. In the interim, two young gentlemen sat at another table beside us. A young female server came out, gave them both a hug, spoke with them several minutes and promptly left before I could get her attention. The gentlemen we spoke with earlier had also sent his son out to request a server, as they had been waiting 30 minutes just to pay their bill and pack up leftovers. After sitting nearly 30 minutes without anyone acknowledging out presence, we decided to leave. In fairness, I requested to speak to the manager and advise ny concerns. Upon speaking to him, it was obvious he was not receptive to my complaint and stated " Well I can serve you now". At this point I was frustrated enough that we had no intention of spending our money at the Paradox. Upon reading reviews, this circumstance seems common.
I have NOT tried that ultimate something and I will never do. Unless they will separate Czech and German pilsner. LOL. What is this brewery thinking??? "They will never know!"??? What exactly do you think about your target audience? Who is your target audience you think? 2Google: why can't we reply to reply directly? To the owners reply: try to experiment with your nonsense: combine half Radeberger and half Urquell in your glass. I understand you brewed something that does not fit into any of the bjcp descriptions, hence, you name it that way.
Went to Paradox Brewery yesterday with my family and had an AWFUL experience. We knew the wait time would be awhile, which was totally understandable considering it was a busy Saturday during a holiday weekend, and we were seated after about 40 mins. We sat down and waited a total of 30 mins before getting up and leaving. At no point in time were we even acknowledged by a server, yet several tables that had been sat after us had already been greeted, and had their orders taken. My sister in-law even let the host know we had been waiting for 20 mins just to be greeted, and he told her someone would be over soon, so we waited another 10 mins before leaving. As someone who works in the service industry myself, this was completely unacceptable and incredibly disappointing. While the rest of our family left, my wife, (who had started a bar tab while we were initially waiting to be sat) went to settle our tab. My wife told the woman at the bar the situation, and she just so happened to be the owner. She barely acknowledged the issue, so we paid and left. This sucks because we had visited Paradox before, and were looking forward to going back. Unfortunately due to the horrible service and lack of acknowledgement by management, we won’t be back again. Train your servers better, or considering hiring more if you’re short staffed.
Sorry to give a bad review but Friday night we arrived around 5 pm. We waited 15 min for a table and then waited another 90 minutes for 2 pizzas and a salad!!! It was ridiculous. And we could see other tables around us waiting and waiting and waiting. The server told us there wasn't enough kitchen staff. Well that's too bad! Maybe they should've closed some tables and told us we'd have to wait an hour to be seated. Then we could've chosen to stay or move on. Yeah, pizza and beer was good (although one of our pizzas was luke warm opon arrival) but the wait was way too long!!!
Service was terrible. Dining room was half empty and it looked like plenty of staff around. They seemed more interested in socializing with each other than waiting on tables. Sat there for a while, after being seated by the host and no one acknowledged our presence. We left, we won't be back. After reading the reviews, it seems poor service is a theme for this place.
This place is mediocre at best. Yesterday my family ate there as a party of 9. We arrived at about 5:45pm and the kitchen closed at 6pm. They assured us that we would be fed regardless. We were happy to have a table. The hostess/waitress took our drink order and when she brought the drinks, there were a couple mistakes. The pitcher of diet pepsi we ordered was actually Dr. Pepper and when we told our waitress, she stated "I've been using that tap all day and you're the first ones to notice!" like what? She also forgot to bring my brother's drink. For 20 minutes. And when I told her he still hadn't gotten his drink, she blamed someone else for not bringing it to the table even though she had brought each of us our drinks thus far. And then when she finally brought the canned cider in a glass to the table, she proceeded to say that "it was still just sitting up there, sorry about that!" so it sounds like he was delivered a dead drink? Mind you this drink order came out 2 or 3 drinks at a time over a 20 minute period. Then we ordered our food. The person who ordered a burger with onion rings was given a burger with chips and we had to remind the waitress that he ordered onion rings... We also ordered a Paradox Pie without onions and found many pieces of onion on the pizza, but the biggest issue was the fact that they served us a "Paradox Pie" with red sauce... This is a specialty pizza on the menu that comes with a garlic base sauce. Literally no explanation here. Luckily they took the pizza off the bill. But the food came out even slower than the drinks, 1 item at a time so everyone received their food at different times and it was just a completely awkward messy dining experience. I get that the kitchen was closing but if they couldn't handle it, they shouldn't have sat us.
Was seated on the patio with numerous other groups, after 20 minutes nobody had seen a server, at 25 minutes a server came out to the table next to us and lectured them on how they cant have additional guests join their party unless they check in with the hostess or they will not be served. She then disappeared. At 30 minutes another guest was seated with barking dogs, at that point several guests including myself got up and left. The menu looked good, the kitchen smelled good, the staff was completely unprofessional. Would not recommend.
