We had a fantastic lunch on a great porch with a very sweet waitress 💝. We were allowed to bring our dog on the porch with us, and they gave him a bowl of water. We will definitely be back, thank you!

This is just a great place to eat! The service is fantastic and the food is really good. Has a beautiful porch to sit on overlooking Lake Champlain.

First of many visits to Mountain Dog. The food was great the service top notch and the view from the deck was great. If you are in the Westport, New York area you have to stop in for a visit.

We stayed here during our bike tour along the Empire State trail. Hosts were welcoming and the hot shower was lovely. We popped downstairs for dinner and sat at the bar. No wait to get water and cold beers after a hot June day. I ordered a Dark and stormy, and while the young bartender was unsure, she offered to remake the drink if it wasn't right. Food came out pretty quickly and we had great conversation with other patrons at the bar. Everyone was friendly ans accomodating. 10/10 would come back here again, on or off the bike.

They also loved the pasta, which was rich and comforting with a creamy sauce that perfectly coated the noodles. The service is very friendly, and the casual, welcoming atmosphere makes it a perfect spot for families. A great place for tasty food and a relaxed dining experience!

Decided to try this spot and found it to be a very nice place. The food was great, my waitress was lovely and attentive (Thank you Cassidy), and the decorations/art was cute and fun. All around a good experience. I’m gonna try to bring my dog with me sometime if I can.

American style cuisine. Food is always good, service is friendly and efficient and the atmosphere chock full of fun. It’s an old Inn and cut up a bit funny but it adds to the charm. Chef Jason and owner Pete do some great soups and specials. Hosts Pete and Kim are fun and welcoming.

We stopped for lunch. Great outdoor deck with umbrellas over the tables. Our server was friendly and prompt. I ordered a steak and cheese sub, while my wife had the mushroom and Swiss burger. Both meals were excellent. We will return. 😁

Their exceptional service and a mouthwatering chicken sandwich were the perfect ending to a long and exhausting hike. From the moment we walked through the door, Nellie's warm smile and friendly welcome made us feel right at home The chicken was tender and perfectly seasoned, everything was fresh and toasted to perfection. But what truly touched our hearts was Nellie and Chef Peter's willingness to accommodate our requests. They made sure each of us left the restaurant with a satisfied stomach and a smile on our faces. We'll certainly return to savor more of your delicious offerings and soak in the warm atmosphere! Highly recommended!

Waitress was a delightful and very helpful. I believe her name was Marcie. The view was like a picture postcard. We sat on the deck shaded by a table umbrella. Overlooking lake Champlain. Very peaceful surrounded by friendly patrons. Our small dog welcomed at our deck table. Best restaurant I been to in years. My highest recommendation.

New restaurant in Westport, nice place for casual meal. I had burger with sweet potato fries, the meal was well prepared and delicious. A nice view from the deck. Wlfi is available, ask server for password .

It was awful. First, the sat us down at a table they didn't bother cleaning. Second, the meals took almost an hour and a half to arrive. Once they got there, NOT ONE was cooked properly. The chicken was overcooked, the fries were burned, the vegetables were severely undercooked, the burger was burned to charcoal, and even the salad felt like it was burned. Not to mention that through all of that they even MISSED AN ORDER and decided to start cooking it only after we asked for the check. Didn't help that half the menu was out and we could barely order anything. Then, they even had the audacity to ask us for a tip! I know that this probably won't stop most people from coming here, but please do yourself a favor and go somewhere else
