Came to give this eatery a try as I came into Half Moon Bay. Service was excellent, my servers were very polite and attended to our requests as kindly as possible. It did not take a long time for our orders to arrive at our table, and the food was delicious. I ordered the corned beef hash and eggs with house fries, and I savored every bite. I’ll admit I was a tad skeptical about the large potato dice, and was anticipating that the taters weren’t cooked well, but I was wrong. They were delicious, and surely complemented the eggs and hash, too! I ordered a pancake on the side, and my perception was that they were from a box mix due to the texture and flavor. However, it doesn’t dismiss the fact that the pancake was still tasty. If ever I return here to Half Moon Bay, I would love to come back here, maybe even for lunch!

The wet burrito was awesome, big portion, couldn’t finish it. The homemade hot green La Negizita sauce made every bite special! The albacore fish melt was tasty too!

Don’t Hesitate. Stop here for the best food! Just a stranger in this town passing through and needed a breakfast spot for a seven year old and 4 adults, one a vegetarian. This place was close and we took a chance. It was the best decision ever. Service was amazing, food was excellent and from checking out the other customers- it’s a solid local spot. 11/10. Also, they have the best homemade hot sauce.

Great breakfast and fast service! Prices were a little higher than what the outdated menu said, but the food itself was very good and the orange juice was very fresh!

Sam's Chowder is rich and flavorful. I tried the Blue Crab sandwich this visit, it wasn't as good as Dungeness Crab, so if you're a Dungeness Crab fan I wouldn't recommend the Blue Crab option. I've had Sam's Lobster Roll in previous visits and that was a good choice.

Portion sizes were good. However, in my opinion, the prices are quite high for a classic breakfast. The Huevos Rancheros was $20 and the eggs Benedict were $19. A cup of tea is $4. To me that is a little steep.

Sam's Chowder is rich and flavorful. I tried the Blue Crab sandwich this visit, it wasn't as good as Dungeness Crab, so if you're a Dungeness Crab fan I wouldn't recommend the Blue Crab option. I've had Sam's Lobster Roll in previous visits and that was a good choice.

It was crazy busy but it was the HMB Pumpkin Festival so it's understandable. The food is delicious and the service was pretty good! My only complaint is the lack of bathrooms. I had to wait in line 10 minutes.

It was okay I had kind of what you would call a skillet but they called it something else it was okay it had some kind of sausage I didn't recognize it wasn't impressive at all you know it's so hard to find a decent place to eat in this town I like American food regular nice fresh American food.

Service was great, and food was good. My only complaint was that the prices were much higher than what is posted online, and they didn't have all of the options that are listed on their Google menu, like the lighter breakfasts.

Poorly managed and organized. Food took too long to come out, and they never bothered to stop by to see if I need more water. Hope they can do better in the future.
