The owner, Mike is a great guy and runs a great shop. The pizza is delicious, as are the garlic knots. I also enjoy the chicken parm sandwich. Prices are reasonable and there's plenty of seating.

I was traveling through Hamilton and wanted some pizza. I was recommended by a friend to stop at Oliveri's! I was greeted by a friendly fellow, the Owner Michael. I asked what was the daily special! He said he would be right back... About 5 minutes went by and he returned with a Steak and Cheese sandwich. It came on a fresh roll , with greens and a wonderful sauce. I eat half, then he brought a pizza! OMG, the crust was crispy and done well. The sauce wasn't out of a can, it tasted home made. There was a large amount of toppings. And the cheese was top grade and plenty of it... I'm looking forward to stopping at Oliveri's next time I'm in New York! I recently told a friend from Los Angles, to stop there. That's all he talks about is the Food and how he felt like he was home in his families Kitchen. Stop by and tell Michael, Nic from Las Vegas says Hi! Maybe he will come and open a Oliveri's Pizza in Vegas!!

They currently only offer take out during dinner and are closed Wednesday nights. Just be patient (they're clearly very popular) and it is worth the wait. The calzones are huge and delicious!

I've been going there everytime for the last 6 months when I have to visit the galleries there, good pizza, better than fair deals, gonna start ordering from them for art openings, first place that means it when they say "NY Style" pizza since I came back from LA without going to the city.

Hands down the best pizza place in the area. The blue cheese…I mean cmon! That alone deserves 10 stars. Any one star reviews have absolutely no clue what they are talking about. Mike is the best!

We have been ordering from Oliveri’s since we recently moved to this area. No matter what we order the food is always great. We’ve had experiences both eating in and taking out. Today I placed an order for take out but I’ve arrived a bit early to the estimated time our order would be ready. I explained this to the one coworker who I then proceeded to pay for our meal. While this is happening a gentlemen was having a meeting which seemed important and very detailed oriented. While I was patiently waiting he ensured me that everything would be ready in just a few minutes and that because I ordered our wings extra crispy he wanted to ensure it was perfect. While he was having a business meeting he never once ignored me as a customer and not only once but a few times stood up and walked away from his meeting to ensure my order would be prepared accordingly. Once it was done he himself brought out my order. His actions showed me that every customer that comes in is just as important as any meeting of his. Because of this Oliveri’s will always have my service. Thank you.

Excellent little pizza shop! Very clean and inviting inside, and good jazz/classic music playing. We were in town installing heat pump and converting a house to natural gas heat and stopped in to Oliveri's both days we were in town. The slices were excellent (Thin NY style) and we'll priced, lots of soda options, many excellent desert options (cheesecake, baklava, and cookies), and ultra friendly people. We will definitely be back when we are in town again!

My husband and son loved the stuffed lasagna pizza. I had the Italian wedding soup and chicken wings and they were very good. The homemade blue cheese is delicious too. Medium-size pizza half plain & half with pineapple and ham - why is this so good!!

Great sauce, good pie. They use delicious cherry tomatoes that I could tell were fresh sliced. They had a fantastic baklava and tasty garlic knots. No fountain drinks, which was ok, it encourages me to drink water. Paper plates and light flatware give it a good NY pizzeria feel, but it favors a thicker crust. Friendly staff brought out our meal and checked up on us. Smal joint with a restaurant feel. A big TV is up for sports but there's some great historic memorabilia on the walls.

It feels like home inside. They treat my son so well, I'm pretty sure this will always be his favorite pizza place. Great pizza, treat yourself to the assortment of amazing deserts.

Since moving to Nevada, great Italian Food is hard to come by. I visited Oliveri's Pizza 3 times while in Upstate New York. It is Old School with many meals beside a great Pizza or Sandwich. I have had the Steak w/greens, the salads, Utica Greens and delish desserts! I liked the home feel and being greeted like family. You will notice the cleanliness of the kitchen, eating area & staff. I met Michael, the owner, and he takes pride in his family business. The day I was there he was preparing to get out a large order, 120 pizzas for a party. I would have never known with the attention he paid with my order. I'm glad to find Oliveri;s and Michael. I know you will also! i'm not being compensated for this review...

Without a doubt one of the best pizzas around. I drive in from Utica just for pizza and wings. The sauce (for both) is delicious, the crust is on point! Its crispy, doughy and hits the spot everytime. Service is great and the walls are eclectic, old school relics that take me back to the good ol days.

We had Oliveri's cater for my daughters baby shower, Mike and Emma did an excellent job, food was delicious and our special vegan requests were not a problem. the order was ready on time. All the guests raved about it!! we will definitely be back, and would recommend :)

This place is amazing! Mike and the staff are nothing but courteous. They are always willing to explain how busy they are, which is needless to say considering that the food is unmatchable. Mike and the staff are quick and to the point on the phone, which, personally I appreciate. I’ve spent many years in customer service, and being quick on the phone, sometimes, is the only way to accommodate everyone coming through the door, and the mass call’s constantly coming in. However, I must say, on the occasion that it is a slower day for them, they always take the time to say hello, and are not afraid of making small talk; this truly makes for an authentic and warming feeling. I’ve been waiting to try these sandwiches since my boyfriend told me about them when we first started dating. They were sooo freaking good! I ate the whole thing so fast and I’d go back there in a heartbeat. Everyone was nice and accommodating - I literally called to see what kind of bread they used because it blew me away. You just don’t find sandwiches like that everywhere around here. We had the lupo and the capri 👩🏽‍🍳🥰

Fantastic place! This is what a pizza place was like when I was a kid! Steak and cheese sub was delicious and the flavor profile was fully fleshed out because they clearly understand how to correctly assemble a submarine sandwich, lol. The woman who took my order and rang me out was super nice and friendly to talk to. Oh, and they sell real Coke, the stuff made with actual sugar and sold in actual glass bottles. Subway chains can’t come within a mile of reproducing the authenticity you’ll find here. Two thumbs up.

I have been an Oliveri's customer since I moved into the Hamilton area 8 years ago. The food has always been great. The staff are excellent. I suppose I would describe myself as a "usual" at this point. Mike can be a little curt on the phone sometimes, but I empathize with the rush and stress food prep can be and honestly don't mind. Some people take it personally for some reason. I've never had an order lost or terribly wrong. All in all, Hamilton just wouldn't be the same without such a great pizza joint. Definitely recommend. 👍

Oliveri’s Pizzeria recently catered my wedding, which consisted of about 85 people. Mike Clare, the owner, personally made sure that the catering was perfect. He prepared, delivered, and served the food at my wedding. Obviously as the bride I was very nervous about what foods we had planned and the execution of the dinner hour. Mike and Oliveri’s exceeded my expectations, as none of my guests had any complaints and only accolades for the meal he presented. My guests, some from as far as the state of Florida, praised the flavoring and visual presentation of the dishes. Every time I came around the corner I could hear one of our guests sending Mike admiration for one of his dishes, which consisted of meatballs, chicken Alfredo, chicken riggies, and eggplant Parmesan. Mike even included salad and dinner rolls. I can’t thank Mike and Oliveri’s enough for the spectacular and perfect execution of the meal service, it was a hit.

I was introduced to this pizzeria a few years ago and by far it is my favorite. I will take time off of work once or twice a month just to take the ride out to Hamilton (from Utica where there is 100 pizzerias) because their pizza is so good. Our go to- lg pepperoni with a tub of blue cheese. The crust is light, with perfect proportion of sauce and cheese, and they don’t skimp on the pepperoni, the kind that curls up. They have the best homemade blue cheese - I don’t normally like blue cheese, but this stuff broke my hatred of blue cheese, it’s that good. We go during lunch, so at times it can be busy but the staff is very polite and they work their butts off.

Yesterday I went into this shop and the prices online weren’t the same as the prices in the restaurant. My fiancé and I were going to leave but then a worker called the owner. I can absolutely without a doubt say that if you’re going to support a small business and want to do business with good people that this is the place. Not only do I want this place to prosper, I can genuinely say the owner Mike is a great guy. He does right by his customers and he genuinely loves what he does. It’s not easy to run a company in today’s society and I know because I own a flooring company. Mike handled it with class like a business owner should. Because of him I tipped the employees and ended up paying more than the food was quoted to me. This place had great food and is a class act. Running a restaurant in a college town is never easy but this place is great. Next time I’m visiting when I’m back from Chicago I’ll be sure to stop by.

A nice little pizza / sub shop right in the heart of downtown Hamilton. A handful of tables inside, but they do a lot of take out orders. The subs are large and the sausage sub I had was very large and filled with a lot of sausages, it was great. The inside is more interesting than your typical pizza joint, with a lot of sports memorabilia, specifically boxing.

We went to Oliveris for lunch yesterday and I have to be honest this is the best pizza I have ever had. We ordered the stuffed lasagna pizza! It was cooked perfectly and the ingredients were delicious. They even had bottles of mikes hot honey for sale which was delicious on the pizza! Top notch, highly recommend!

I'm in town for a month from FL and was looking forward to an authentic NY style pizza durring my stay. After two weeks of searching, we found Oliveri's and to my surprise, Stuffed Lasagna Pizza, my absolute favorite pizza, was on the menu! This pizza is by far the best pizza I've ever had! The sauce to cheese ratio is perfect, the crust is nice and crispy and there is a wonderful surprise in the rolled crust, a soft doughy center like a hidden breadstick! Between 3 of us, only a 1/4 of this pie survived! The wings here are also to die for, they're fried nice and crispy, and coated evenly is a great sauce! I encourage everyone to try their Itallian Wedding soup, it is delicious, home made, all from scratch and will warm you up on these chilly fall/winter days! Oh, and before I forget the customer service and staff are amazing! Everyone is very friendly, they're fast, and willing to help with whatever you need! All around a great experience, not once but twice!

Irritated lately with the salads,except when Emma makes them they are amazing salads...but if not her when I ask for things separated on the side its because its being shared and some are allergic to onions nope instead our things are put in a very small dressing dish so with a large salad we got 2 grape tomatoes and a tea spoon of onions on top of a half of teaspoon of black olives ,then we get green garnishment that taste like grass on top and the chicken is so dry eww,not happy I guess ill have to ask whom is cooking 1st before ordering.

I’ve been here before. In fact, after my last experience I wasn’t sure this was the best idea but I really wanted one of their salads tonight. At my last visit I had a gentleman named Mike help me as I was a walk-in. He spoke very condescendingly & crude to everyone I witnessed from the counter, to the phone & even to his coworkers. I felt like an imposition & truth be told, had I not already paid for my food, I was about 2 steps from jumping back in my car & leaving without my order. I had no desire to return after being spoken to as if he were scolding his child. But tonight the salad called me so I had to stop in again. You can imagine my excitement when I didn’t see him working tonight. Debbie was. Debbie was handing the phones, walk-ins & pickups, making it look all too easy. She was pleasant, polite & professional to each person (even when she was putting someone on hold). Debbies positive attitude on such a busy night (it’s Friday) is why I’ll be back. Maybe Mike (if he still works there) could spend a day shadowing Ms. Debbie & learn some etiquette & manners when dealing with other people. Thank you Debbie for treating me professionally & with a positive attitude!!

I ordered the lobster ravioli in Vodka sauce and it was delicious. the cashier was extremely helpful and answered my questions on portions and ingredients. while waiting saw many other dishes and when I am back in the area I definitely will eat here again.

This place has amazing food! My son will not eat at any other pizza place since trying Oliver's . The only negative thing I can think of about this place is during school season there is never anywhere close to park. I suggest taking two people one driver and one person to get out and get the pizza. So worth

I am visiting for business and was looking for a place to deliver. The hotel I'm staying in suggested this place. I ordered their Margherita pizza and it taste great and they were punctual about their delivery. I however can't give a full 5 star rating because of two reasons. The pizza wasn't really cut into slices like it should have been and they way over did the tomatoes. Cherry tomatoes are fine but I feel thin slices of Roma tomatoes would of been better. Having been a chef for 9 years as well as ranked as a top 10% local guide in the states I hope they read this and can adjust things so the next person doesn't have the same issues.

Their food is great and my family loves it. Often times when we can't get to the store we order from here. But I do have a small complaint. A lot of the times my orders are wrong, especially the cheese fries. I absolutely love them, but a lot of the times they get it wrong and put bacon on it leaving me to get all greasy and have to pick it out. I'm not one for meat so I really dislike bacon. Should definitely be checking the food orders before sending them out for delivery. I get that your busy and it's a great food place but it gets annoying often. Otherwise great place, would definitely recommend.

Oliveris pizza is a decent little pizza shop in the heart of Hamilton. They are one of the few establishments that deliver locally. We used to order a lot from this place until they made the ‘no substitutions’ rule on many of their menu items (really? I can’t have turkey in my panini instead of chicken??. Over many years they have missed items when delivering, we received an upside down pizza one time, and as many times as we’ve ordered the garlic knots, they have been delivered undercooked with raw dough in the middle. Bummer. We order from oliveris now primarily just their atipasto as that is still really good, and go to ny pizzeria for a better pizza and same for the wings. It’s unfortunate as the food and menu items used to be really good!

Would like to thank you for being honest about your pricing situation. Good pizza, I give it a 7.1. I would like just a few extra shavings of mozzarella. College kids are poor.

Not sure what happened. The first few times we went, we loved the food. Everything seemed made with care. This time, the pizza was terrible. There was a ton of unsauced areas, cheese wasn't evenly applied, the whole thing was dry and awful. The pasta we got was still great. We also noticed that there was maybe a price increase? The prices on the website don't match even close to what we were charged. We understand costs are going up, but we just wish we knew what the price was before placing the order.

We went there based on previous posts which showed that the pizzeria was highly rated. We read one review that indicated that the calzones were really good so we ordered one w chicken and to get a real taste of the sauce we ordered one dish of spaghetti. The calzone was large and looked nice, so presentation was very good - I cut a piece off, dipped it in the sauce, put it in my mouth and was aghast at the fact that ANYONE would serve a calzone with refrigerator cold sauce. Both my wife and I thought the calzone was just barely ok. The spaghetti sauce that came w the pasta was truly an experience we could live without. I don't even know how to describe how truly awful it was. But, I am spoiled we "can" our own sauce from my garden, and although I am not italian, I grew up in an Italian neighborhood in the bronx and my wife is first generation Italian - I am truly blessed when it comes to sauce which I know many italian born and 1st gen Italians would call gravy. The two woman who worked at the pizzeria were pleasant enough.

Oliveri’s has good…and pretty close to authentic…. Italian food, BUT the owner Mike could really use a good lesson in business etiquette. Instead of being a man of his word (he offered to fix HIS mistake by refunding our $100+ order), he lied through his teeth and then ignored the situation in its entirety. A restaurant with the best food is only as good as it’s ownership. Do better Mike!

I ordered a pizza with 3 toppings paid for 3 toppings and only got two....and those two toppings were scarcely scattered across the pizza, at best. The small pizza I ordered had about a three inch crust. Super stingy. I will never order from this establishment again. PS- there is no way all of these good reviews are real.

Unfortunately they bate as switch you on the prices, and not a little, 63% higher than advertised. Called for the 40 weeks and 2 chesse pizza special for $52 and they said the price was wrong and it was $85. Huge difference. Then with ordering 40 wings we wanted two flavors and they upcharged us another dollar. For was okay. Pizzas were a medium at best, not large. The bait and switch is a real issue. Would not buy or recommend them, very dishonest.

Very rude service! I’m a professor at Colgate new to the area. I called to place an order for delivery at this restaurant. Exactly one hour after placing my order (and still waiting for the food) I got a call where a man very rudely asked for a different card number. I’ve rarely been spoken to in such a tone at a restaurant before. It saddens me that with the limited choices for delivery in the area, they can get away with treating people any way they please.

Simply rude and obsessed with money. Pizza and other food is alright, but portion sizes have diminished within the past year. I have always left ~30℅ tips, and yet they are disrespectful when they mess up orders (which is disappointingly frequent).

I’ve ordered delivery and eaten in the restaurant and I continue to be disappointed. The food is terrible and unflavored. The service is bad, and the owner especially, is a very rude man who needs to do better at treating his customers with respect. And if you order delivery, expect to wait at least 1 hour and a half before you get your food. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. They need to work to do better and earn the customer’s appreciation and respect.

The owner of this restaurant is rude and needs to learn how to appreciate the little customers he so luckily has. If you are a Colgate Student he WILL HARASS you by calling the school multiple times to complain for giving your honest opinion on a google review. I wouldn't be surprised if he does this with other students so that his restaurant’s ratings are kept neat. Don’t trust the ratings because they’re biased. UPDATE TO RESPONSE: I deleted my original review the next morning after you responded after i had seen that the situation was resolved through receiving my refund. Despite this, you decided to get my university involved which has nothing to do with my interaction with you as a customer. Even though i thought I was doing you a good deed by removing the original post concerning my opinion of you and your establishment through my interaction with you, you decided to take it a step further and investigate into my personal life. I posted the review back up since you decided to take that initial step further past the customer-vendor boundary. My second posting obviously upset you once again (because you had the audacity once again to complain to my university about my public review) and i decided to be nice again and revise my review so that your name is clear from my opinioned view of your actions in my interaction with you. Based on your response it seems that you just dont want a bad review in General and are threatening with contacting the university yet a third time. As a successful business owner you have to understand that you will have bad reviews because not everyones experiences will be all roses and daisies. As the owner of that restaurant you need to learn how to take those reviews and use them constructively so that you continue to have better relationships with the colgate and Hamilton community. As a customer since my freshman year, i have the right to review this establishment especially when it is not the first bad experience i have had with oliveris. Please stop overpassing your boundaries as a local business unless you want me to continue to be an advocate on campus for boycotting your establishment. I hope you can continue to learn from these interactions with your customers and grow to better your business. Thank you

We went for dinner. At 6pm. Three tables were available. We sat down, looked at the menu, and went to the counter to order. The lady behind the counter said we couldn't eat there, that she didn't know why, that it was the bosses rules, and she couldn't change them. Basically they were only open for take out for dinner. We left hungry since we didn't have a place to go eat.

Last Friday 11-8 my boyfriend ordered me a sub from here it was AMAZING...best one I have had from anywhere I have been for subs since I moved here 2.5 years ago from Texas (where we are taught to be polite until being polite isn't workin) .so I was excited to order again tonight. I ordered TWO club subs a couple pieces of pizza garlic knots (yummy) and a hot sandwich for joe ..,and the lady explained that they didn't have club subs..I said ok can I just get them with turkey ,ham, lto blk olives and mayo she said sure...when I go to pick them up there was only one...I told her there were supposed to be 2 she said I only ordered 1 again I say no maam I ordered 2...she said something to the very rude girl making pizza and she raised her voice ,rolled her eyes and told me it would be 45 more minutes after I had already waited an hour...and happy to wait an hour as I learned the week before to order early..and I said I order 2 get one then I HAVE TO WAIT 45 MORE MINUTES...for their mistake I just said never mind and took my food ..then a young man very polite said he could get me another but it would be sometime and I said no its ok thank you...and walked out fuming from the rude pizza maker....I don't understand why they can't slow down and listen when you order weather you take time to listen or not its going to take that much time on the phone either way..I will go back here but it will only be there when the owner is there,according to town folk he makes sure that people are taken care of if he is there...still love those subs...

I strongly suggest sticking to pizza here. Not many great eating choices in this part of Hamilton but the food quality here is abysmal. The overpriced “jumbo” wings were tiny, and without much sauce. The chicken Philly was tasteless with raw chewy chicken. I had a stomach upset that night (7/9). The cashier was rude.

The owner made it very clear that they prioritize “Big” Catering orders over a walk-in for two slices of pizza. When walking in and attempting to place an order, the woman at the register indicated that they were too busy to place my order at the time, Suggested and come back in 45 minutes. She was very rude and dismissive. I asked for the owner’s name, She said that he was in the back cooking and told me to go back there and talk to him directly. I told her I was not comfortable, walking the back of the kitchen with my two toddlers. Her response was “that’s too bad” As I was walking out with the owner, walked out to the restaurant area and expressed devotion care restaurant, And that he had to prioritize a big catering order before making any new orders. I’m not a restaurant owner, But I’ve never had to wait 45 minutes for 2 slices of cheese pizza. Nonetheless we drove 20 min to Clinton, got two slices of pizza and an order of mozzarella sticks within 7 minutes. Needless to say the customer service was stellar at this alternate location. Sounds like this location is either understaffed or just not a place that serves slices on the fly despite offering slices on their menu.
