May21 1:10 AM. The most amazing employee, sweet, funny, caring and loves his job. He was working drive through window and he is the reason I keep coming back here to eat. He is amazing and the food is always fresh
Today I had a hankering for Whataburger for lunch. I already had it in my mind that we would be waiting in line, as we always do, for a good 20 minutes or so. And when we drove up to the drive thru to find it wrapped, we knew we were in it for the long haul. HOWEVER, we ended up getting right through! The employee took our payment and within a few minutes brought everything out to us. Hooray for miracles! I know it sounds degrading, but today was a rare occasion to get our food and get out of line. I’m grateful! Husband tried the smoked bacon burger while I ordered the smoked bacon chicken (original). It is a new item on the menu. The board says it has a tangy sauce, I’d say it’s more of a spicy sauce than tangy. Maybe I’ll have them omit it next time since I don’t like a lot of sauce in the first place. We both enjoyed our meal. Our fries were fresh from the grease too. I guess just be prepared to wait and if you get through, count your blessings ;) P.S. it’s not JUST this location that takes a long time, every Whataburger I’ve visited has this issue. That being said, I’ve never received cold food from any Whataburger location. I’m giving them all five stars based on TODAY’S speedy service, as a full disclosure.
This Whataburger was great. We ordered online with a curbside pick up. The food was ready extremely fast. The gentleman who delivered to our car was very polite. The order was correct and arrived hot!!
They left out a meal but they gave me fresh fries for all the meals when I went back. Thank you. Added review I went to the location again, and the young lady in drive-through was super apologetic the entire time, which tells me that people have been extremely rude and unpleasant to her. This area is pretty still developing. The whataburger is one of very few fast food choices making this location always busy. I think people need to keep in mind that most of the people who are running fast food joints are teenagers and young adults just starting out. Let's show them patience and compassion while they begin their journey in life and working for low pay to help us feed our families.
The food is always amazing, and the staff is wonderful, however one stands out the most. Tyrone was very respectful, kind, and even double checked the order to make sure everything was right. THATS the kind of service you don’t find anymore. I wrote a review through Whataburgers website and now I’m here on Google reviews to make sure his work and efforts are noticed in any way I can manage. Speaking of manage, MAKE HIM A MANAGER. Thats the kind of man that gets things done quickly, and respectfully. It’s not often you find service like his in any industry nowadays. Thank you Tyrone, I look forward to returning to this establishment soon and hope your efforts and work ethic are noticed by not just me, but all who visit this establishment, whether it’s customer or staff. Keep up the hard work man! <3

I had breakfast there this morning and there was a short haired woman (manager) who came out and checked on me and everyone else. It is so sweet to just have a quick check in, and I have seen her do this before…… I am rating today because it was very busy, and she still took the time to put customers first.
I gave this 5 stars because this feels like Chick-fil-A. And by that I mean the staff and service. They are always positive. They look like they love working there. One time I ordered pick up, I waited a lot longer than what I needed to, and the manager came out and gave me the meal for free. Not just that, the manager wrote two free meals for next time on the receipt. Went back 2 weeks later, even though the receipt was old and the "2 free meals" did not show a date or a name of who gave it. They just smiled and said no problem without questioning and then apologized for taking too long last time. This whataburger is my whataburger for now on.
Last year I had reviewed, and it was 1 star, the worst! BUT, we went last weekend, and it was fast, clean and efficient! So glad to see it changed and being done right! I have always loved Whataburger food and now I can enjoy it close to home again!

The friendly woman that brought out food at drive thru.i ordered more food and more complicated on the different foods i wanted. She was patient with me. when she came out with 2 large bags of food. I told her i did not have cash cause she deserved a tip. She told me that was ok because that was her job to serve their customers well. Whataburger do not let her go not many servers with a smile any more .Other businesses expecting tips even though we are picking up the food ourselves. I was there today at 7:48a

I work late nights and I came there whenever I got off at 4 AM. They came to me very fast took my order with much respect and overall just made me wanna go back I didn’t catch his name, but the man with the gray shirt is the one that took my order. He was wonderful!
Despite coming in at 3am when most workers would be tired and rude, Tyrone was the nicest man I have ever received fast food from. Received everything I ordered perfect, he even took the extra time to wipe the drips off the cups before handing them to me. Need more people like Tyrone 🙏

Have ordered curbside several times the past few months and this location consistently has food prepared at a high quality and hot with generous portion sizes and always available within just a few minutes on arrival. Kudos to the manager and staff.

The food was hot and fresh!!! The staff was awesome and friendly. The staff seemed to want to be there which was welcoming.
This particular Whataburger is my favorite for a couple of reasons. First, the staff is excellent and their customer service is over the top. My husband and I are now closer to 70 (gasp), and our generation grew up with the attitude that customer service should always be a priority. That said, I have never received poor service at this location, and I always try to complement the staff. When they go out of their way I like to tip them. It’s not a lot, but I want them to see a reward for excellence. We eat Carnivore, so I normally get 3 patties with 1 piece of cheese and the veggies (minus the onion). Mine comes hot, juicy, and nicely salted. My husband get a bun and he doesn’t rave like I do about his double burger, but he did about the fresh coffee they made just for him. And the cherry on the top is that it is clean! Way to go supervisors; it’s obvious that you train your staff well.
My daughter and I ordered a salad and iced mocha coffee and a number one with unsweetened tea. When we got up to the window and waited a longtime the guy said oh we don’t have mocha iced tea and there was several flavors to choose from so he said we only have 2 flavors so my daughter ordered and caramel one. What we received was cold food and no ice in my tea and straight black coffee with ice in it. This is not the only time my food was cold when I got it out that I had to wait a long time. I’m going to have to just quit going to this one!
Even tough it was very busy, the person in charger didn't have to be asking for the product. Every one was doing its job with out asking them
Give me a double meat, Whataburger with cheese and jalapeños and onion rings and it was fantastic. Wife had a Whataburger with cheese and bacon and fries and it was great. Everything was hot and fresh service was friendly. The restaurant was clean.
Everyone was so kind and actively cleaning the dining area. I made a mistake with my family's order and the manager saved the day and fixed it.

So they actually messed up my to go order and forgot to include my burger. So why a 5-star review? Because when I called the store, the person that helped me (Hailey I think it was?) provided excellent service and made it right. And the burger was pretty dang good too after I went to get it. 😁
I had such a great experience thanks to the manager, Deana. I accidentally ordered my food to the wrong location and she was so kind and understanding. She went ahead and made my order for me anyway without any hassle. Her customer service was truly above and beyond. Thank you, Deana, for being so helpful and turning my mistake into a great experience!
I'm not a fan of any Whataburger's food. This location is quick, friendly & clean. I come here for ice-cream products & they never disappoint.
Food service and atmosphere are good as long as you go on school nights. If you go on a friday/Saturday be prepared to encounter about 75 kids (14-18 years old) inside and running through the parking lot without their parents around and not looking for cars
Zander is a treasure upon this planet and needs to be given a raise immediately. He sold me on buying a limited time item which I thoroughly enjoyed. Speed was a little slow but its Whataburger its expected. I definitely will be coming back all thanks to Zander making me feel welcomed.
I stopped in late last night, I was pleasantly surprised. I was greeted immediately by the manager Deana, My food was fresh and delicious and the entire restaurant was really clean. thanks for providing me wirh such great customer service. ill definitely be back! in case noones told you lately, Deana youre doing an amazing job!
I haven't seen a Whataburger this good in a long time. The ones by our home have gone downhill in many ways. But we stopped while on the road at this one and it was so good. The place was clean. The staff was friendly and competent. Refreshing and wonderful!
Picked up an order and DJ was my cashier. Amazing customer service, extremely respectful and helped resolve my issue quickly without the need for any management. Great experience at this location because of him.
Love this place, this one specifically. No one knows my name, but they know what I want when I walk in. I eat here 2-3 times a week. Great counter service, great attitude, great team spirit and great food! I’ve never heard anyone raise their voice @ someone else, any foul language, or seen or gotten any attitude from any employee. Extremely courteous to all customers, they always offer a tray of trimmings and napkins when serving your meal. My two favorites are the Monterey Melt and the Patty Melt. Thank you Chuck for amazing service!

Well, nobody's perfect so here it go; went in for food cuz still at work. Cashier nice and friendly as could b and smiled!!! Was courteous and receptive to courticy. Got the order and one of em was wrong, I mean way off. No problem, go take it back and got a new burger. Didn't have the right condiment on it so got that corrected too. Who da hell puts mayo on a burger anywayz!?! Dis Texas fo gawds sake!!! Anywho, the cashier who was so sweet and pretty from earlier apologised for some reason and fixed it. Now that's how u do costumer service. 5 stars for u alone baby girl!!! The food was hot and even da fries, all tasted great! Now my apologies...I didn't get her name, srry
Faster than most its an ok place about what you would expect from whataburger. They do keep the line moving so that's a plus food is ok but thier Tea is gross I stopped getting it after the 3rd time.
I'm only rating because of thus young man, who helped me Monday night. He was very professional, going out his way to not only please me, others as well. I was very impressed with is customer service skills and professionalism!! One this I forgot to ask, was his name!
Haslet Whataburger has been our go to in the area for sure. They're always the most accurate, fastest, most helpful, etc. However today was the total opposite. We waited over 45 minutes for 2 burgers, fries and drinks. I'm posting this though because I believe Max deserves the recognition. Today the staff were cutting up, on their phones (including a manager), and not really being effective at their job. Max however was literally sprinting around trying to do all he could. He was serving curb side, dine in customers, taking orders at the counter, going to the kitchen to help correct orders, make drinks, get condiments, etc. Max was polite and did everything he could to help the customer and as quickly as possible. To see him work was pretty impressive especially given his age and that managers were goofing off and horse playing. This kid definitely deserves the recognition, praise, and raise. NO I do NOT personally know this kid and have never seen Max in my life before today. *Max i hope you see this darlin. You did an incredible job and i promise your work ethic will take you far!! Also sorry for being weird and asking for a pic for this review*
I ordered the Whataburger #1 and it was absolutely delicious. The burger was fresh, flavorful, and put together well. Everything tasted just right simple, classic, and satisfying. I did ask for extra mustard and they put it on top and bottom bun. I absolutely love that. It’s not too much in one spot.
I ordered … The buffalo ranch chicken strip sandwich 🥪 & avocado bacon burger 🍔 I ate inside since I can’t go through the drive thru cause of my big red tractor 🚜. It took about 5-10 minutes to make both burgers so not too long of a wait ! ✅ Once I got my meal , Sheeshhh I noticed that they do not look like the pics 😵💫😭 So on the buffalo ranch chicken strip sandwich… 🥪 it was a 7.5 / 10 . The sandwich was warm … ✅ It was also very messy and sloppy 😳 The chicken in sandwich tasted really good✅ But The sandwich tasted a bit sour once I was half way done with it … I don’t know if it was from the buffalo sauce or ranch but it grossed me out so I didn’t finish that sandwich 😔🚮 So now for the avocado bacon burger !😵💫🍔 That burger was about a 8 / 10 . It wasn’t to sloppy ✅ The burger was warm also ✅ The lab meat was pretty good 😁✅ The bacon was okay not fresh tho ✅ The avocado was really good with this burger ✅ So I got gravy with these burgers ✅ The Gravy Tasted good with both burgers ✅ Friendly staff , but one of them creeped me out cause I was the only one eating inside @ 12 o’clock @ midnight and they sat right across me but they were facing me while I was the only one eating inside 😵💫❌ I hate when people look at me eat especially being the only customer at midnight just trying to eat alone lol 😑 but yeah overall not bad for 16$ I recommend the avocado burger for sure ✅ The buffalo ranch chicken sandwich? maybe if it didn’t have that sour after taste 😔
I am a manager at a fast food restaurant, and if I treated my customers to the quality of food I received I would expect my customers not to return. This last visit will be our last visit. My onion rings were burnt and the fries tasted as if they were cooked hours ago. Its better to drive an extra 15 minutes to get the quality of food that customers deserve. I will not return to this location.
We went through the drive-through. Big mistake. We sat about 20 minutes grid locked in waiting for orders. This is a safety hazard. They seem to be trying a similar style of food lane pickup as Chick-fil-A, but it is not working. You are trapped in line or have to risk tearing up your car to jump the curb if an emergency presents itself. Never again.
This place is one of those that always seem to forget something. Not all the time, but most of the time. It was only a single biscuit, but still. It was something that was ordered and paid for. I should have double checked. That's just too much in a hurry.
Clean inside and the food was OK but definitely look at the order on the small monitor at the counter. I ordered two bacon cheeseburgers and was almost charged for the cheese and the bacon in addition to the price advertised on the menu. Not sure if the employees are in on it or the computer is programmed wrong.

Go to this place all the time and for the most part everything is as you’d expect from a fast food restaurant. Reason why I gave it 3 stars is because they keep raising prices. My meal used to barely be $12 then it went up to $13.50 and now they just raised prices again and it’s $14.28…. For 2 dollars more I can go to a decent restaurant and get a good meal there with that price. Why am I paying restaurant prices at a fast food place? It’s supposed to be cheap and fast that’s its entire purpose. It’s kind of ridiculous and this company has been slowly but steadily increasing prices in just the past year or two. They need to make permanent prices and keep it that way because charging that much for a meal is crazy.
Food is as good as any other WB location. But the Haslet location is as slow as Christmas. 15 minutes at 630 this morning for #20. Ridiculous

I’ve gone through the drive thru at this location plenty of times. I’ve noticed recently that, I really have to start checking my order before I pull off, because my orders never seem to be correct anymore. Today, I ordered a large fry with my meal and not only were the fries under cooked (which is strange) I received what looked to me to be a small order of fries. So disappointing. I’ve added pictures for reference.
Took forever to get food. Ordered a whataburger Jr with cheese. Meat cold, couldn't melt the cheese and bun was very hard. When told them they just made another one. That took forever to get. Will never go back
Took nearly twenty minutes to finally get our food in the drive thru. Only two people ahead of us and they were still waiting. You could see inside and there was one employee just leaning up against the counter drinking his drink. Another boy looked like he was getting himself an ice cream. A girl walking around looking absolutely lost. Only two people were actually working. The guy coming out to lane b and a person trying their best to build orders. Wasn’t given nor offered ketchup so we pulled around and there were receipts just scattered all over the counter. Wasn’t cleaned up nor organized. This was the worst Whataburger experience I’ve had.
Whataburger is our favorite place to eat for a hamburger but this time the service was horrible. We ordered our usual and didn’t get one of our hamburgers then my husbands hamburger was missing all the veggies and the cheese. It was just the meat and bun. Then I ordered my food again that was never given to me and they gave it to me in a to go bag when I said I was dining in. They were supposed to also fix my husband’s hamburger and they forgot about it. It was a mess and the cashier was not friendly and she had a face as if she was there forcefully: no smile or eye contact. Then the manager tried to help and made things worse by not allowing a different employee to help me but instead told the original cashier to help me. We left very upset after waiting 30 minutes of trying to have them get our order right. They weren’t even busy, we were the only ones ordering at that time.
Bummer. This one has very slow drive through. Large frys are always 2/3 full. They always make mistakes and leave items out. I live a mile from here and was very hopeful. I waited until now to write a review so they could get it together. I've eaten here 10 or 15 times. I will drive to Saginaw now. Update: They suck even worse than 7 years ago when I wrote the first review. Get it together for Pete's sake.
I had an unpleasant dining experience at your establishment. There was an unusually long wait time of 40 minutes for a simple order of a burger and fries. To make matters worse, my order was forgotten and had to be remade. When it finally arrived, the medium fries were only a quarter full.
Was just in this location and was waiting for someone to come up to take our order and saw a roach crawl across the front counter.. we just turned around and left. Gross
Received raw KIDS chicken strips & chicken sandwich. Did I say RAW? Soggy fries. Gag.
Pulled into a empty parking lot and with no one in the drive-thru or inside we walked in (just 2 of us) and ordered at 12:37am and at 1:04am we asked how much longer and finally got our food 5 minutes later at 1:09. When we ordered they asked if we wanted any condiments, we answered with yes, spicy, regular and picante but when the food finally came out we didn’t get and condiments. Why ask if you’re not going to follow through but after 32 minutes I’d probably forget also. This place will never change
I have visited this location numerous times (dine-in and drive through). The staff are nice but not very professional. It takes forever to get your order ready. Be prepared to sit in the drive through line for at least 15 minutes. Don't go here of you're in a rush.
Everytime I go to Whataburger, it's a crappy wait. At this point I dont know why I go here. I went here for a burger and chicken tenders and waited over 30 minutes at 1015 on a Wednesday. This is a Whataburger problem... Maybe not a store problem BUT I could be wrong.

Just wanted to have something quick on the go and it was raining heavily. I just ordered 2 simple chicken burgers and wings…that’s it. For that in the rain with a hungry kid waiting for more than half an hour. That asked us to wait little farther and my husband literally drenched in the rain to get the food from inside the restaurant. Finally after more than half an hour got the food. I could have go home cooked and had a good meal… instead of waiting in the pouring rain for more than half an hour. Disappointed so much. They don’t even say why our order was so late and no apologies either.
This restaurant is horrible. I went in to get two milkshakes. After 20 minutes inquired as to when they would be ready. Several folks who ordered after me got their stuff. When asked an employee asked one of the workers in back. The other worker replied what’s the big deal it’s just a milk shake. . This was on Sunday. 08-24-2025
The serving was horrible, even for whataburger standards. I could hear a worker in the back constantly yelling while eating ruining my eating experience. Not to mention how horribly the manager was treating the young woman taking my order. DO NOT GO HERE, it’ll ruin your mood and the workers are generally abhorrent outside of the young woman who had served me. My experience was Wednesday April 2. I implore you to please change the workers and please get a manager to treat her workers more kindly. I do not think it is right for a worker to be yelled at for serving me. The worker who had served me was named Joseline I beg that she’s treated better during working hours.

I used their drive through on the outside lane on Saturday April 26, 2025. The server came out and I paid for my order. Then I watched as vehicle after vehicle on the inside lane came and went getting their order. Even vehicles behind me gave up and drove around me because they had not paid for their order and drove off. Finally I got out of my truck and started to walk toward the window asking for my order and a server said they would bring it out. I finally got my order and it was cold, and we could not eat it. I called their San Antonio number and they promised someone would correct it and my money would be refunded. So far, that has not happened. Never use this Whataburger!
Ordered 12 items got 10. Bad soda. 2 burgers are completely wrong. I’m flexible but I’m disappointed.
Got breakfast here every day this week. Every day when they ask about sauce I told them how many I wanted. Every day they gave me 1/3 of what I asked for. Consistency isn't a good thing when your consistently wrong.
Coperate needs to come in and clean this place up. Absolutely not good customer service at this restaurant. This is the second resturant in Haslet that has lost my business. Do something before you lose more customers. Edit 01/13 I'd seen in the Fort Worth Star Telegram where you'd gotten some health code violations.... How's that working out for ya? My husband went through the drive-through yesterday. It wasn't a complicated order.... they neglected to put the hamburger patty on his burger. How can this even happen?
i was waiting for my meal when i saw two men workers, and a fenlae worker walk out of the women's restroom together while fixing their clothes. one of the males was a manager with tattoos all on his arms. this is very unprofessional and disgusting, considering the female looked underage.
10+ workers, can’t get a simple order correct, one guy is on his computer, another guy on his phone. Waited 30 min for order. Horrible service.
5/28/2025 This Whataburger is going down fast. They must have new management. They are getting so cheap, a small fries 2.49 look they give you 14 fries🤣 what a joke!! The jr burger was edible but the price is ridiculous plus the cashier doesn't know how to count cash back. What is happening to our school system for kids can't count cash back or do math 😭. Haslet needs better restaurants than what we have now.
First, please keep good employees who respect people. Second, if you don’t like DoorDash drivers, then stop accepting DoorDash and Uber orders. Your employees talk very rudely and disrespect drivers. What is the problem with people who work for DoorDash – why don’t you respect them?
I’m so tired of not getting my gravy every single time I order chicken strips! How hard is it to read a screen and put it in a bag?? And the only solution is “well you can come back up here” how about you just put all of my order in the bag so I don’t have to! So frustrating to come home after a long day and not have what I asked and paid for.
There is one Whataburger in Texas that I will not go to any longer, and it’s this one! How hard is easy ketchup and easy mayo to understand?. I very rarely will call and complain about food, but I made a point to ask they please not saturate my cheeseburger with condiments because the last 2 times they were inedible.. Dear Whataburger, Please don’t make our cheeseburgers soggy and gross! Less than10 minutes down the road your fingers should not be sinking into a ketchup soaked bun. It’s just unTexan and Whataburger should know better! Please don’t make me quit buying your James Avery charms!!
Having previously worked for Whataburger, I am familiar with the standards and procedures that should be followed. I ordered my usual BOB combo—sausage well done with fresh hash brown sticks. I specifically requested fresh hash brown sticks because, in the past, I have received ones that appeared to be re-dipped in grease. As I assumed they were re-dipped as per usual. The BOB itself seemed as though it had been reheated, possibly in a microwave, rather than prepared fresh. This was disappointing given the expectations associated with the brand. I hope things change soon.
Placed an online order for 2 taquitos. Pulled up and put in my stall number. 3 other cars came and went. Finally got my food 20 minutes later. Got on the road. When I pulled the first one out there was MAYBE 2 TBSP of mixture. The second one had even less and the tortillas were hard.
I ordered yesterday and had my food delivered, I order a double meat Whataburger in a medium fries, when I received my food. I noticed one of my hamburger meats in my burger looks like someone had nibble bites off my meat. That was nasty 🤢. Not just that my fries was undercooked. Now I've been coming to Whataburger for a while and I always enjoyed the food they always have good burgers and fries but this is the first time I had a problem with my food. Y'all need to pay more attention to your employees there and make sure their doing their job right not under cooking the food and taking bites off of people's food. That is disgusting 🤢 that is bad service.
9/12/2025 10:30am. Haslet Texas What a disappointment. Bet management won’t even read this. Why order on line when special orders are not even close to what you asked for. We ordered on line thinking we could quickly get special order in time to make it to Grand Parents lunch with our grand daughter. Lady brought out drinks we did not order. She said to just keep them. Ordered one unsweetened tea. Ended up with 2 large cokes, 1 medium coke and 1 medium “sweet”tea!!! Ordered kids burger, plain with meat bread and cheese. Came out with mustard and pickle!!!!! Not what we ordered. Must happen a lot because they did not seemed phased by it. That took an extra 10 minutes to correct. When we got to kiddo school here is what we found. Husband’s burger had a piece of sausage attached to the outside of his bottom bun!!!! What????!!!!! My salad did not have dressing. It had items on it that i specifically listed to be removed!!!! Evidently special orders are not honored. So disappointing. Whataburger has issues and I really hate the way it has been moving. Ruining a wonderful Texas business and legacy. Is it management? Is it the people you are hiring? What is going on?? Won’t be back to this one. Wake up before it is too late to capture formerly dedicated and loyal customers.
Was it a special order? Yes. Was I expecting half of it to be wrong? No. Charging extra for bacon and then not including it is borderline robbery. My two regrets were 1) not checking my order before leaving, and 2) visiting this Whataburger when there's another one just a few exits down the road. Horribly run. 50% order inaccuracy is inexcusable.
