No ventialation service is okay some days fast other days slow . It does get very pack its cheap for an all you can eat kbbq my go to if i dont feel like driving far. Pretty good i love their sides.
Okay so it isn't the fanciest spot but the food is amazing given the price and the attention is excellent.
Carnivore's delight! Yummy
Just fresh, clean, delicious. The staff.... Class acts.... Try the pork belly prime! Highly recommend!
Absolutely delicious food, and for a killer price too. The service was stellar and our table never felt lacking of food in any way. I look forward to going back again, and again, and again...
I have been to other KBBQ restaurants but this is still my go-to. May not be a fancy setting but this is where you'll catch me. Still love their sides, meats and rice. Prices remain reasonable while others have increased. I've encountered 1 rude worker from the many times I've been there so I didn't let that get to me. 🤪
This is just a tiny hole in a wall place but out of the dozen kbbq places I have ever been to, this one is the best hands down. Food is outstanding, lots of sides and the most tender and flavorful cuts of meat. The service is also outstanding. They don't seat you, serve you once then forget you. Move over Red Palace, I got a new favorite!
I've been here twice, in the same week. It was just that awesome. Food is served very quickly. They have a cart that comes around with sides which is awesome... Who wants to walk when you could be eating. Location is perfect. Parking is great. I've been to many KBbq's but I prefer this one for it's intimacy. Even though I love Moo more, J comes first. It's like a diamond in the rough.
Finally they are open again!! I like the outdoor seating in the tent. Kind of remind me of the 80's and 90's street food style in Asia. All workers wear PPE and sanitized tables in between customers. Cheapest plan has gone up to $14.99 but still pretty good deal for AYCE.
Amazing service, the staff really took care of us! They side dishes and drinks stayed full, and several people checked on us during our meal to see if we needed anything. Good food, low prices, will be back!
The food we ate was very good. Customer service is very nice the people here are very friendly great to go with a group of 6-8. I recommend try the beef bulgogi. It's all you can eat and you pay for the sections of meat at Great prices. The quality of the meat is splendid I would definitely come again. My friends and I really enjoyed this place.
Best Korean BBQ restaurant. For two drinks and dinners it was only $35.00 for all you van eat. Meat selection was fresh & perfectly sized. Not skimpy like other places I've been.
Options A 10.99, option B 13.99 and option C 16.99. Staff is very friendly. Place is clean and homely looking. They have music and its pretty current but it's not too loud. They serve alcohol and have Saporo beer bottles. The place is all you can eat but the quality of the meat is pretty good. I love this place and come almost once a week.
I been going here since 2019 and this place has never disappointed. Everything from the food to the service. Our server Justin did a fantastic job with being fast and so friendly. 10/10 give this guy a raise!
Great place to come when you are on a budget. Service is great, just had a get together this past Monday for a birthday of our good friend. Servers was very friendly and helpful. Even accommodated us with the cake me brought, with cutting it serving it and even took off the birthday girls meal from our bill. A must come and try.
I love this place. The price is great for such good meat. Service is also amazing. I don't know her name but she is main person I always see when I go here. She always pushes the service cart around with refills constantly. I love how kind and attentive she is. Some of the grills are old so they do need care because the flames are not even on both sides but other than that everything is great here.
Food is great never a long wait time although you have to pay extra for each bowl of rice it isn’t to bad Justin is a great waiter his is always patient with the customers and he is helpful and fast
I've been coming here since 2016. Loved the changes they made it's a much better experience. I've read some reviews about sneaky service charge this sign has always been here.
Came here for the first time about a week ago. Great experience customer service is fast and friendly. They have a call button so that’s nice. Food was good too about the same quality as the others. If you ask for rice paper or sides they will hook it up! They walk around with a cart which I think is a great idea because you can help some people quickly! Will return.
Place was really good great customer service from Brian really helpful especially with suggestions. Had a rude server come for a second but Brian came back and helped which made everything better.

Absolutely delighted with my experience at Jeo Jac Keo Ri Korean BBQ! The beef brisket surpassed my expectations. The overall ambiance and attentive service make it a standout dining destination. Highly recommend for BBQ enthusiasts!
I love kbbq. I also like the cute waitress with the red hair. She reminded me of Ariel from the little mermaid. Food was good portions were good sides were excellent price was reasonable
My family was the first to have dinner in this Korean BBQ restaurant. Their beef brisket, belly and bulgogi are absolutely delicious.Fresh, tender, and full of flavor. And the friendly staff are another big reason I will return and introduce it to my friends. They are friendly, fast and attentive!
We’ve been coming here since before the pandemic. They beautified it and changed the vibe for the better. The food quality and service has never changed which is what keeps us coming back.
Dope spot not too pricing; good service. I come here anytime I'm celebrating and wants some kbbq. Definitely would recommend to all my friends, but they were the ones who showed me the spot !!!!
I’ve been coming here for more than 10 years. This is the only kbbq place my husband and I go to. The new changes are fantastic! Great staff, service and food. They added mix drinks on their menu and I cannot be anymore happier. 🥰 we usually go during the day time and it’s usually not busy compared to other kbbq places that I have gone in the past. This place has always been my go to place. I think this place has been undervalued. Hoping with the new changes or new management, they will get noticed more.

I love this place, I feel bad sometimes eating all that food Im sure they think that we wont stop asking for more XD anyway its always been fun, It is an old place and a little dirty but mostly because its always busy and they do their best to keep everyone satisfied and seated. I'd give it 5 stars but the only thing is the age and how clean the resturaunt is.
Although it may not look like it from the outside, this is a great little Korean BBQ place! Good food. Good price. The only issue was that the vent hoods weren't working properly, so it was kind of smoky in there.
Foods is good, service a little slow, price kinda high the sides are charged separately but I’d go back
One of the cheapest kbbq's in the area! They don't have as big a variety of side options as most of the other places, but what they do have is decent quality. So, if you want to eat a lot of decent for not a lot of money this is a good little place to stop at.
Went there for my birthday and unfortunately they don't do anything for birthdays but still had a good time. The food was pretty standard for Korean BBQ. The waiters aren't the nicest people but they're pretty okay.
They have excellent service, they check up in you to make sure everything is in order. Making sure you get your meat and replace the grill itself when its too burnt from all the previous meat. The raw meat is a bit thawed from being frozen but its still good and tasty
This is based on two visits. The last visit was when I was in high school (wow I'm getting old) and then the recent visit about a week ago or so. Compared to the last visit years ago--the iconic piece of brisket flung onto the wall LOL--service was outstanding. My friend and I went during lunch time, around 1'o clock, where it wasn't too busy. The waitress would already have an idea why customers would need service, and would offer what she thought you'd need before you could even get to ask. The quality of meats were okay, it was noticeable that some meats were a bit old. Definitely would want to double up on each order, as the amount is somewhat skimpy but nevertheless understandable for a "buffet." Environment wise, there were a lot of stains on and near the tabletops. At some points it felt a bit stuffy, ventilation was mediocre. Biggest concern for me is when KBBQs charge for rice bowls. There are a ton of KBBQs around Cerritos that offer unlimited rice for roughly the same price (~$12). They will give you ONE free rice bowl, and it'll be tiny. I believe they'll charge $1 for each additional rice bowl after*. *Although you shouldn't stuff yourself with "cheap carbs" at any buffet setting, it helps mitigate that overwhelming feeling of oil.
Today service was not great, seemed the employees didn't want to be there. Actually the woman who rang us up was nice, and one other male employee was OK. Our server was not, but price was good.
Great tasting food at very reasonable prices. No take home orders. You grill your own. Probably due to on the table grills, the floor was sort of sticky. The line can sometimes be quite a wait.
Place was great. Only problem is the older Asian woman tried to charge us extra for drinks we didn't have and when we explained it she proceeded to chastise us and said she'll let it slide this time. No customer service experience whatsoever. Other than that the other staff was awesome and the meat quality was great.
The food and staff were great our waitress was super friendly and made sure we were comfortable. I would have loved to give 5 stars however I ordered shrimp and it was not deviened so I had to get my hands pretty messy and just gave up eating them. Overall though the price was great and I would definitely be paying another visit
I think for 20$ per person, it was a decent experience. I always like ordering the brisket, beef belly & pork belly. Sides were okay. We were missing the miso soup but it’s no biggy. They asked if the sides were okay, cause I think they were testing if we read the fine print on the menu where it lists the sides it comes with. I didn’t read it at the time but now I know that we were just missing miso soup. It’s decent for the price. Don’t order tea for each person. It comes in a huge pot that takes up too much of the table. Parking was easy. Big plaza lot parking.
Food is always good, but quality service is hit or miss. If you have a party larger then 2 people they automatically charge gratuity. Kids are charges as adults at a pretty young age, I think it is 6 years and up but don't remember exactly what age they charge. All you can eat but everyone at tabe must choose the same plan.
This visit, the service was amazing! The meat is always fresh and beautiful. The sides were plentiful and readily available. Served with a smile each and every stop at our table by the female manager. She is awesome!!! The owners can be a bit on the dramatic side though. They check, check and triple check making sure you get charged for every drink you are given. Even after they ask you several times, they go back and ask the wait staff repeatedly. It's beyond irritating however, there are peaceful times they are not there and it's beyond worth it.
I see alot of bad reviews about food and service here. But but what do you expect for "bang for a buck" I say quality of meat was great cheap and affordable. Can't beat meal under 20 dollars.. and it's all you can eat! Beef belly and brisket is king and very delicious.. plus very thin sliced pork belly!!
Affordable korean bbq with good service and great food! I love korean brisket and I love their steam eggs and kimchi. This place is clean and the staffs are quick to come to your service. I love their brisket but the steamed egg needs some work - the texture was not as good as other places. Anyway, for the price, I would definitely come back here someday unless I can find one with the same price but has better steamed egg :)

Great budget kbbq location. Make sure you wont go anywhere but home after eating since the smell of smoke will be all your clothes. I always joke with my friends that this more like Mongolian BBQ it's like going into a battle field than restaurant.
Lots of sides and the meat is good, supper affordable and the staff is nice but definitely not enough for the amount of people they are serving. Its packed and the waiters take forever to come around.
I ordered a second helping of rice and was charged a dollar. I know it's not a lot but why is rice an option on the all you can eat menu. I ordered Bulgogi and beef belly for seconds and it was fine
I haven't been to Js KBBQ in 10 years. Not much has changed honestly. Service is still quite good, the staff are friendly and food is okay. While you don't get as much side choices as other KBBQ places the meat choices are just fine. NOTE: that they do not change out the bbq grill unlike other places. The place could sure use a renovation though. It's not a place to take a date to but good enough for family, friends and or colleagues.
The food here is good but then again you do have to cook it yourself. The service is truly lacking here, it's very difficult to get the server's attentions to refill your Fixins. Some servers that I've come across have been very polite and and provide great service While others basically roll their eyes as you ask for anything. One of my first experiences here I went with my best friend and we were in high school. We got the classic a menu and we got treated pretty disrespectfully, they ignored us every time we ask for something and when it came time to pay for the bill we paid and decided not to leave a tip because of how rude and bad the service was. The guy ringing us up after paying stop us and told us that we could not leave until we give a tip because it was mandatory. I understand there are restaurants that require a tip but with our previous experiences there was never anyting at that specific restaurant that said we had to give a tip and normally we do give tips but that day was not the best service. The man made quite a scene about it and we just decided to give a tip and left. So overall the food is good and their service could definitely be better.
The food was good. They do scam you with the tip cause they already have a service fee charged and then do not make it clear. When I questioned it they gave me attitude.
Food is good price is good, but service is what earns it a three star the place is slow. Really have only come here on weekends when other KBBQ places have an hour+ wait time. The older gentleman at the front counter seemed to be either sleeping or on his phone. We were able to get a table fast but getting getting extra plates and gas for the grill just took to long. Table of hungry people with no meat, Just need to be more attentive.
Very understaffed, it took forever to get refills on drinks and to get more food
Owner is rude and unfriendly. Needs to be more respectful to customers who pay his bills. Other than that, only patronize because of the waitress Alice. Very professional, courteous, attentive and overall friendly. Love her service.
Get’s 1-star for the price. It’s cheap. Get’s another star because they leave the water pitcher at your table. That’s about all this place has going for it. The inside is pretty disgusting. The service is maybe 2-stars. The younger folks are friendly, but screwed up bringing our food multiple times. The portion sizes are laughable. We got maybe 1-persons worth of food for three. It’s all you can eat so you can keep asking for more, but with a staff that struggles to keep up, it’s a headache. The food itself is bad. Probably the worst korean food I’ve ever tasted. It’s not unpalatable but it’s worse than if you tried making it yourself. The sides are bad—crummy potatoes, kimchee slaw, and coleslaw. The final insult was automatic gratuity on tables 3 or more. Stay away.
I love this place and have been coming here for years. The staff is wonderful and always amazingly sweet however, the owner has cause me some outrage recently, post covid. Waiters/waitresses hand their tips over to him and do not keep them. Ontop of this, last time I went, he charged me double for staying more than 2 hours and said "don't talk, just eat". We checked in at 735, got seated by 750 and left at 915.
Been here a few times as a couple. was shocked by the 18% "service charge" for parties of 3 or more. service was fair at best, but imposing a forced service charge is not acceptable. on top of this, they also expected a "tip" as the associate i spoke with claims the forced "service charge" is for the people in the back who prep the food. as i am someone who eats out about the average amount of time, what in the hell is this crap! the resurant charges for the food and the tip is for the service......thats it. as i was looking over the bill, each soda was 3.90 and each refill was .75. not terrible but the glass was so full of ice, that hardly any soda was actually served. They also charge a CC processing fee. i wont be back, so i am done with the heavy fees. This review is for anyone that is going to try it out.
Food is good, not bad for the price especially during lunch, however the servers are not super attentive and you have to fight for their attention to ask for things even if they’re not super busy. They also will sneak in random chargers if you’re not careful so double check your bill!!
No good variety of meat no real selection of side dishes and they charge your children as adults. Expect to pay almost $90 for a family of four. Be aware that this place charges gratuity for 3 people and over. Ridiculous, tips are optional. Don't Force customers to pay gratuity it leaves a bad taste in your mouth.
This is one of my Favorite spots for Korean bbq but I went Mothers day with Fam party if 7. It was the worst, terrible service. We had to wait long for refills, hell even for a fork. The place was not even busy empty tables everywhere but still took long to get service. If the tip wouldn't be added to the bill already I would have not tipped at all..

This is the worst Korean BBQ place I've ever been to the employee's are very racist and I asked a waiter to give me a high chair for my baby plenty of times and he would pass and look straight at me and not give me anything. Never coming back and I hope no one else does. It's also very messy and they don't have enough ventilation so it's full of smoke. If you want good Korean BBQ go to Gens. I almsot forgot they never asked us if we wanted anything to drink worst place ever!!
New owners? This was 5 star for price and food before...but gone there recently a few times and new people at the register and on the floor. Customer service was pretty bad....
Horrible customer service, you tell them your order and they don't bring half of it, you remind them and they still don't bring your full order. Half the time the servers just look at you and walk away, the side refills take very long to get. The wait time for a table is double other places even when they are not busy.
I wish I could give this place zero stars because of the poor customer service. Our so called server, the taller dude with the black glasses was very rude. He took our meat order, brought our water and then that's the last that we saw of him at our table. The young lady serving the table next to us got us a few things if we asked. That automatic gratuity that they add should have went to her instead of casper the unfriendly ghost. I'm visiting from Minnesota but if I'm ever in California again I would rather starve than to eat there again.
We wanted to take our son out somewhere kind of cool and diffrent somewhere you can cook your own food in front of you.. mind he is 7yrs old . We arrive here about 730pm and wait to be seated till about 845 no big deal it's friday.. they seat my family in a booth.. and we wait for our server ... after sitting there for about 10 min he walks over and asked .. what type of meat do we want.. we reply beef and he walks off and returns with beef.. never does he offer us beverages. So I waived him down for drinks. After that it was a wrap I never saw him again for refills or more food.. so I get annoyed and just want to leave.. I go to the front to pay and hand her my credit card she swipes and she handed me my slip to sign it reads $43.00 for 3 people.. doesn't make sense. At this point I asked for my itemized receipt..turns out they charged my son as an adult and added gratuity to the bill (2 adults 1 child ) .. I ask for my receipt and she refused to give me my credit card receipt.. I am fighting this charge to the end.. just horrible all around ..save yourself a headache people..also to the server please to set hot plates in front our 7 month old baby grabbing anything set in front of her..3 times .. common guy
We got all you can eat for 20.00 but some how came out to 180.00 for 4 people not even a nice restaurant I would not recommend there are so much nicer places to go to for that price
Food isn't that great. Had to ask multiple times for water, soda, rice, and meat. Then If you have a table of 3 or more you need to pay a gratuity for each person. Don't let them take your money we spoke up and they removed. We still tipped but that's ridiculous how they try to force you to pay gratuity.
We went on a Wednesday night. Place wasn't crowded. Service was slow. The place looks kinda run down. The brisket and the bulgogi was good and the water wasn't even cold.
Really bad service just went there today 4-8-18 and they charged us wrong and when we were leaving they tried to charge us more and the walls are nasty and so is the bathroom they try to put up pictures on the wall and say they us really good meat but in reality they don’t they automatically charge a tip they don’t deserve almost $10. Left really mad and I hope they see this.
The old hag in the front desk. Wow. A friend and I went here ( only because Mr. Lee’s was a bit too packed. Please go there this place is the worst.) and staff was ok but you can tell these horrible, greedy, rude owners over work them so they don’t entirely listen and get order wrong but wasn’t too much of an issue. However. They serve lukewarm water, them put a cap on how many meats you can order per round, and like I said before, they really rush you when you order. Well, we made the best of it ate and wanted to leave since my friend needed to go home urgently. So I walked to the front to pay and the old hag in the front doesn’t know word of English, asked what table. I said 3rd table on the right side. She ignored me and went to one of her staff and LITERALLY made her way to the table STICKING HER HEAD HOVERING OVER IT WHILE MY FRIEND SAT IN DISCOMFORT!!!! Who does that? I didn’t have any leftover so I wasn’t worried, but it was the fact this was so horribly rude and unprofessional and made it a unpleasant expirence. Plenty of other Korean bbq, same price, WAY better service. I remember there used to be an older man who was really nice who ran this please...These people who run this are the worst. Mr Lee’s Korean Bbq is great! You should try it not this garbage.
Very rude, staff and I used to like this place. I called to ask for the prices on the all the can eat specials, I couldn't find them online, the guy only told there were three options and he told me the price of one option then he told me I should come in and ask in person, He hung up on me without another word.
Not attentive , vents are not working properly they charge the tip to your check when we didn't want to tip them for bad service. Only sides mashed potatoes and two options of cole slaw spicy and normal and rice paper.
Very disappointing experience. I have been here once before and I am surprised that I have been treated wrongfully. I rarely complain about anything, but being here today made me not want to come Herr again and expose this place of how they are. My girlfriend (Hispanic decent) and myself (African american decent) have decided to eat here and order brisket, shrimp, and pork belly. Mind you, all the food is unlimited and when it came to my o der of shrimp, the lady tells me that there is no more, and comes back and says I can substitute with garlic, bell pepper and jalapeño. What the hell substitution is that ? 13 minutes go by and I have seen her give shrimp to other families and she asks us what would we like to substitute. My girlfriend Insists we have shrimp and she says they don't have any and says that she can bring two plates of brisket instead. After deciding mintues later my girlfriend asks that are you sure you don't have shrimp ? The lady says okay I'll bring shrimp, with a fake smile and brings a bowl of shrimp to the table without eye contact or even an apology. And when confronted she says "I didn't hear him" "we are unlimited I wouldn't say that" to save an argument we paid And left but I would NEVER come here After that. If they run low on shrimp it should have more of a supply or at least notify customers and saving it for others. Ironic thing is I had total of 3 bowls of shrimp. 20 in total. Never Again.
I TAKE BACK THE 1 STAR IF I COULD... THIS PLACE IS A DUMP AND THEY INCLUDE GRATUITY TO THE BILL... THAT'S WHY They NEVER COME AROUND AND ASK IF YOU NEED ANYTHING... THE STAFF IS TOTALLY INCOMPETENT... THE atmosphere is gloomy at best.... THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I'VE HAD DISGUSTING KOREAN BBQ...I NEVER KNEW THERE COULD ME BAD KOREAN BBq.... But this place is it.... Even the drinks were watered down.... Never got a refill.... NEVER GOING BACK
Tried to eat here today lunch, but the lady would not seat me because "we can not seat just one." She provided no further explanation after inquiring why event though there were plenty of empty seats; I can't help but think that there's some racist reason. I definitely will let my family and friends know not to go here.
Lets start by saying I'm not one to typically write reviews, but after the several times of being here, the last visit was it. First of all, this place is a health hazard. Its beyond me how they manage to stay open and pass health inspections. The walls, the seats, fans, cables that go to the tv, and even the TV is caked with grease. The place is beyond disgusting and I don't even want to imagine what the kitchen looks like. The owner needs to take some pride in his resteraunt and clean this place up. Who wants to sit down to eat dinner only to look up and see a web of grease hanging above their head. The owners are rude as well. A friend and I came here one day when there were several tables open and they set us at this one with a propane portable grill. (Doesn't sound bad right? Well try sitting there for 30 minutes to cook bulgogi on the highest heat just to have the owner walk by and put the heat to the lowest setting). We asked the three waiters to change tables. The owner refused to allow us to switch. We finished our food, paid, and left. We vowed to never come back here again, the service, quality, and condition of the place is disgusting. The only positive thing this place has going for it is the friendliness of the staff and even then thats hard to say because they rarely check on you, so you gotta flag them down. I give this place 1 star for the friendly staff and cheap prices. *edit* 3 or more is a mandatory gratuity. They will not let you dine here yourself. Must have 2 or more. My recommendation, go to BBQ Night on Bloomfield and Carson. Way better quality for a few bucks more.
My fiancé and I were supposed to go to BBQ Night restaurant but the wait was about one and a half hours so we decided to try this place instead. Huge mistake. Even though there were only about 7 parties before us, we ended up waiting for about one and a half hours because they skipped us. By the time we found out, they had already seated 4-5 parties after us. The last we checked, there was still one party before us but they never called my name and kept seating other people. We thought that those people had called in for reservations. The lady scolded us and said that we should keep waiting at the premise and answer when they call or else they will skip us. We were waiting right next to the door the whole time. NO ONE called my name. Even if they did mess up my name, they never called for a party of two. The lady denied this and insisted that they did. The same lady forgot our order of pork belly and only came with our order by the time we had finished half of our food. We had ordered pork belly from another waiter which arrived way before she came. She also gave us an order of spicy chicken instead of the spicy pork we requested. The food was mediocre but expected for the cheap price. The cashier was rather absent-minded as he would have handed our change to another patron had we not stopped him. We had a bad experience here and will never come back again.
Pls don't go here we spent 135 dollars for 2 and it's not all you can eat and the shrimp taste funny !
Will not seat party of one per policy
We’ve been regular customers for 2 years already, now with new servers the place is going bad. Today we got charged for soda refills and the excuse we got is that the servers are “too busy” and it’s “not their responsibility to keep track of orders”. I tried handing the server the cup and he brought new ones and expected us to pay for each one. We were overcharged for food and she didn’t even give us a bill/receipt to show what we’re paying for. Sorry, you guys lost your regulars and we’ll be telling other people about the bad service too.
Went for the first time yesterday at around 9:30, it took a while for them to seat us when there was only one couple ahead of us. Service was not the best, they didn’t come around that often and while we were still dining they asked if we could pay early since they were going to turn off the system. I didn’t mind that as much, however, 5 minutes later they asked us if we could please leave as soon as possible since the owners were tired of waiting for us to finish up. I personally thought that was rude and unprofessional and I will definitely not be coming back. In addition, we were a party of 4 and they charged us around $10 for tip that they definitely didn’t deserve.
I went to this Korean bbq with my partner. I would not recommend, the service was okay. However, the meat had a werid after taste. Not to mention the smell of consent urine blowing on your face. I would not recommend and for 75 dollars for 2 people is outrageous.
The inside was unkempt and disorderly. Floors were slippery due to oil and the room was smokey due to drippy, lackluster vents that were not in working order. The service wasn't bad if you consider that the older lady that was yelling at her workers would tell them to always help others when they stop at our table then proceed to tell me that we had to wait for the refill cart (sides). We told her we wanted more meat and water so then she tells us someone else would come. Don't get me wrong, for the price you're paying and the meat you're getting, it's not a bad deal. But everything else played a factor in me not enjoying this place at all. Will not return.
The service was awful, they got the wrong meat for multiple plates, the tables were greasy and worst of all they had a sign out front saying a graduate eats free. that was a lie. They LIE about their deals. pay attention to their signs and ask DETAILED questions because they will try to rip you off with hidden fees AS WELL.
Good food but the owner charges POS and service fee of $20 for a party of 4 and asked for 18% tip of our bill which was $177. Not coming here again.
If you're not planning to get charge for 3 or more people 15% gratitude tip (I got charge almost 9$ for tip)...then don't come. I suggest you go to Red castle for amazing atmosphere. They have different side dishes...the meat is thinner & really upbeat..laid back scene. Also it's wayyyyy cleaner!!!...i won't be coming here anymore. My last time here and I hope you enjoy your time there. 😂😂
My fiancé and I came back here many times because of the good servers (especially Uriel), but recently, we noticed that a new "service charge" and credit card fee is added on every bill. When we asked, we were told this is added for the kitchen staff and servers to split as tip. We are happy to tip our servers, but when the bill is inflated with hidden charges, it leaves a bad taste in the mouth. This charge is not advertised anywhere, feels very shady. It's unfortunate that a local spot now seems to have implemented some very deceptive surprise charges. We'll have to find a new spot.
I’ve been going to this resturant for many years, and it was always great till the new owners took over. We used to come for every birthday and other ocassions. The server we had would forget us and not bring us our food. We had to reorder our food 5 times. It took over 40 minutes to recieve one plate of kimchi, we had to get it from a different server. The sauce was watered down. Our server ignored us when we tried to call them even when they looked directly at us. They tried to seat all 9 of us in a small corner table that could already hardly fit 6. They told my table we had to split up into 5 and 4, when it was originally 3 and 6. When we split up, they tried to charge us for 10 people because we moved to 5 and 4. We came here to celebrate my cousins birthday, and it was terrible experience. Never coming back again.
Came here yesterday with my family, they seated us a a small table where we all couldn’t fit and asked if we can be seated somewhere else but said it would take a long wait and on top of that they charge my son who didn’t even eat due to dietary restriction just because he sat down with us. They still charged us for him, the owners sound money hungry, trying to get money for whatever reason. I can understand if he ate but he didn’t. Plus my son is special needs with his disability they did not have any of his safe food. We let them know and they did not care.
My parent like coming here but for my family this would be our last time coming here. We came to celebrate my sister 19th birthday and I brought my family with me. We have a 4 year son with us who has a strict dietary restrictions due to his disability and will not eat the food here and they still charge us for him. I will look into the disability act and see if they are violating any laws. I told the waitress who was checking us out about this.
If zero stars were an options that’s what I would put. My son and I just went there, we stood by the register waiting to be seated. 3 workers constantly walked past us and didn’t even acknowledge us. After waiting 10 minutes we were seated and all of the plates and dishes with the sides were all dirty. The rice paper had black spots on it. So we just got up and left. On the way out nobody asked us if anything was wrong they just watched us walk out. Worst experience I’ve ever had. Also this is the first time leaving a review anywhere, I usually look past bad service but this was an entirely different level of poor service and grossness
After one round of food, a party of 3 and I walked out. I’ve never been to a grosser and least appetizing place in my life. They also didn’t give me a receipt. The meat was frozen, space lacked ventilation, and they even missed appetizers. For the price of $30 per person, I implore everyone to avoid as plenty of better options were available. The waiter even attempted to call the cops after I paid and signed because they wanted a more robust signature from me. GUYS, AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS! You deserve better! Oh, also, the male bathroom lacked soap, and both paper dispensers were broken. How is staff even supposed to wash their hands?! I’m incredibly upset and demand I get a call from the owner. URINE CLEANER IS PRESENT IN THE BATHROOMS BUT NOT SOAP!
Don't order the $24.99 choice!! You are Not getting your money's worth of meat! The Marinated beef short ribs is not what your going to get, your going to get pieces of sliced up beef that gets tough after it's cooked. Prime pork belly is just thinly shaved paper meat! Oh and the Marinated squid was just so awful..!!! I will not be coming back here! Price of food went up and the quality of food went down
We came here as a group of three and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. While we were seated quickly and started with brisket, the first serving was very small. We ordered more, but the service was slow and inconsistent. It took about 14 minutes just to receive the sauces we had asked for multiple times, by which point our meat had already burned on the grill. The brisket itself was thinly sliced and cooked quickly, but it was frustrating not to be able to enjoy it properly without sauce. Our server, Justin, did not provide attentive service. He took orders without checking if we needed anything else and left us waiting over 10 minutes for sides. We eventually had to ask another server, who was much more helpful and patient. We originally planned to go to another Korean barbecue spot down the road — our usual go-to — but decided to give this new location a chance. Unfortunately, the experience here made us regret not sticking with the restaurant we trust. When the bill arrived, it was about $100 for three people, but we were not given a receipt until after payment — and only then noticed a $13 service charge. Given the long waits, poor communication, and lack of attention to customer needs, the added service charge felt undeserved. While the food itself was okay, the overall dining experience was disappointing. Better service and attentiveness would have made a big difference.

I’ve been going here for more than 7 years and not to long ago they switched the owners. Since then Ive never really had an issue aside from the smaller portions and the slow customer service. I recently went this weekend and I noticed that they added a service that was more than double the original(I usually go with a family of 4 and pay the service fee about $20-30, I payed $50!!!) I’ve also noticed that the sauces were water down and that the food tasted very bland. The major issue was the men’s restroom, I had my father use the men’s restroom and was informed that the toilet’s were leaking out water onto the floors, as a women I went to the women’s restroom to noticed large amounts of water were seeping out of the door men’s restroom!!! It truly disappoints me to know what has become of a long time favorite spot of mines.
Used to come here a lot with my family but with this new owner the food was not the same, especially the salad that we all loved was very plain to the taste. Meat was not tasty either! Service was okay. Definitely won't be coming back! Also they staff somehow added a service charge to the bill a family of 4 was $173.34 with the service charge. We always tip when we eat out but to automatically add a service charge and still accept tip is unbelievable!
I walked in asking for food to go. They said I could only eat inside the restaurant. They also said that since I was by myself that I would need to sit at the bar, despite the restaurant being practically empty. I noted that there were many booths open. The host said that he knew that, but it was there policy, even if I had back issues. -10 stars
