1st timer. The staff is exceptionally nice and offered a free sample of their cream puff filling which is excellent. Rosemary chili flake bagel with some butter is heavenly and the hot vanilla latte is the perfect amount of sweet. Great way to start the morning. Absolutely returning.

If you are looking for coffee beans/grounds this is the place to get it from. The “Come and Take it” makes the BEST espresso. We usually only drink Americano’s and this is the best tasting. We love to stop in for a sweet treat as well but the beans y’all….. AMAZING.

Just came from the other location where we didnt even order because the service was so terrible and this location was the complete opposite ! The service was stellar. The guy who took our order was so friendly and on top of it. Our food came out super quickly and all tasted amazing. We got the cream puff , rainbow bagel and plain cream cheese , 3 layer brownie , and a peach lemonade. Everything was terrific. The only thing that would be better is if there was music playing in the background. Makes the atmosphere a little less dead silent and awkward. But i loved our experience here. The other location should take some notes.

What a true jewel in this neighborhood! We were immediately greeted with the warmest and most genuine welcome this morning. The staff went out of their way to explain menu options; Which says alot considering I take a VERY long time to decide what I want haha Take full advantage of their seasonal drink menu: I told the cashier (she could not have been sweeter!) I want the sweetist drink on the menu and she helped me make an excellent choice (the Christmas cookie coffee). Then we ordered the cream puff: this is not for playtime! It's indulgent, yummy, and feels like grandma's kitchen. In other words it warms your heart and belly. But, what I was probably most struck by was the immense patriotism of both the brand and shop. In the corner is America's White Table in honor of the lost who fought valiantly in this country's wars. When you visit, make sure to give a moment of silence and reflection at this Table. The names of the coffee alone are worth a visit and I can appreciate the ingenuity and creativity of them all. I also have tremendous respect for a small business who offers discounts to firemen and local police. Hats off to the owners and staff of Texas Grounds in Helotes, TX.

Fresh back from Florence looking for a quality, proper machiato, flat white and cortado close to home. I came in for a late weekday morning visit during early summer and I wasnt disappointed. Fast service for a delicious cortado. I've heard good things about the original location in Old Town Helotes- I'm happy to support our local owners. I'm glad I stopped by and tried it out. Drive through available for your convenience. I didn't get to try the bagels but they look good! Ciao!

Phil and Kathy have such a wonderful choice house here. Actually they have 2 wonderful choice houses. One on Leslie Road and one in Old Town Helotes. Their employees are always a delight and happy to see each person. I can't say enough about Texas Grounds, except I love it!

This was my first time at Texas Ground and I won't lie, I saw a review from a year ago that ranted about "polictal" stuff being shoved in your face. Well that was absolutely not the case. Yes they are proud of their Texas heritage (who would not be) but its not offensive and honestly I loved every bit of it. The Honey Lavender Latte was amazing and the baristas were nice, quick and personable. If I lived here I would come back often. You guys keep up the great work and if people dont like it, they should leave OUT their opinions that hurt a perfectly amazing business.

Longtime fan of the original location in old town. This a nice, clean, and newer location. Easier to get in and out of. Espreso is good I could deal with a little less politics in my coffee though.

Just stopped by Texas Grounds for the first time, and I’m already a fan. The moment I walked in, I was greeted with a cozy, welcoming vibe and the smell of freshly roasted coffee… always a good sign.

I try to support small businesses, so I came over here to give it a shot while waiting on an appointment. Unfortunately, I didn't pay attention before I ordered. There's a bunch of Trump cult stuff everywhere. It's disappointing one can't even have a coffee without the cult stuff being shoved in your face. I gave it a 4 star because everything was fine, other than the cult stuff.

Cheated on my usual coffee shop this morning to give Texas Grounds a go. Cream puffs are huge! If you’re thinking donut-sized like I was—nope. The cream they use is made in-house and I think it’s evident. Not too sweet, and a fresh, dairy forward taste. Super smooth, too, and I usually hate cream. This one was very enjoyable! The actual crumb of the pastry was denser and softer than I anticipated. I was almost expecting the light crispiness of a croissant. It was more like a very, very moisturized homemade sourdough roll (in terms of texture). Most of the sweetness came from the milk chocolate which tasted a bit like Swissmass. Could’ve done without it, but it didn’t subtract from the pastry. I didn’t love their espresso, kind of came off one-note for me, but it absolutely was not bad, and it’s very likely just not my preferred blend subjectively. Workers are very friendly and I went fairly early. It’s 100% worth a stop! Interior is super cool, too.
