Never been in so can't talk about atmosphere. Way better checken than KFC and when you use their salsa it's outstanding

Easily accessible location on Florida Ave. I went through the drive-thru which had friendly and fast service. It’s a chain so I know what to expect food-wise, which is good grilled chicken and sides.

The pollo bowl was so delicious everything was cooked to perfection.

Omg the service and the staff here are so much more friendly and helpful and the food is bomb. I usually go to the one on San Jacinto but they are rude and food is nasty. Will definitely continue coming to this location

Great place juicy chicken I got the 12 piece chicken for 10.99 shared it with my lady comes with tortillas and all the sides and hot sauce on the side you want can't complain ain't very good for cheap most definitely be back soon.

The quality & taste of the food is always excellent at this el Pollo Loco Restaurant. I always enjoy the pleasant smiles, and courtesy that is received. Sometimes the Pico sauce is a little watery, but I just get more to make up for it. I take advantage of the $1 off coupon on each visit, as good food isn't always the least expensive.

The Chicken and Cole Slaw are so good. Tried the black beans this time. I like them better than the pinto beans, but that is a personal preference, not a reflection of the cooking. I signed up for the app as I intend on going there more frequently.

I had to eat soup because I had some dental work done. Lucky for me, El Pollo Loco has two kind. It was a rainy, cold day and a warm cup of soup from El Pollo Loco was heavenly. I bought a cup of each and had the most satisfying meal.

It was a very nice experience. The food tasted fresh and delicious! Our server was the same one I had last time I was there and he gave us a discount on our drinks and went out of his way to make sure we were well attended to. There weren't a lot of people in the restaurant and they were playing Mexican music fairly loudly, but it was enjoyable. Honestly, it was a festive environment, and even while cleaning up everyone looked like they were having fun and enjoying each other's humor, but all while keeping a clean and professional atmosphere. I got the Avocado Bowl and it definitely hit the spot. How nice to have delicious fresh food made well for only a very reasonable price. I'll definitely be back for more!

I had a delivery order yesterday and I had ordered the large beans, they weren't in bag. I called and they told me I could pick them up if I wanted to. I went in today to pick them up and they offered me more chicken to make up for mistake, I told them no thanks and they offered more tortillas, again I said no. They were great and no questions asked. Thank you again.

In the past it has been weird to get my order taken. They hire young people but don't coach them. Mariano is awesome patient kind good at his job. Cares about people that are tight on money I didn't want his drawer to be short. The lady manager that asks me if I am working everytime I come in yo chill makes me like feel bad if it's my day off.

This pollo loco location has to be the best one by far. The service is great. Brenda was the manager on duty when we went and I must say she was extremely attentive and the employees very friendly. I wish other locations would follow in its footsteps! The food was fresh and the restaurant was clean. It's nice to see this for a change. I highly recommend stopping by!

Been eating here for over 20 years. Food is always good and fresh to help us always efficient and fast. The dining room gets full Fast and isn't always quickly cleaned but if you alert a member of the staff they happily clear a table for you. The place is generally comfortable and cozy but is in desperate need of a remodel as it hasn't changed in the 20 years I mentioned above. If it has it was so subtle I didn't notice. Regardless of all of that great staff, great efficiency and most of all great food! My wife and I dine here regularly for lunch. Probably three to four times a month

Came in today to have a snack ended up eating more then just a snack . Glad I did the chicken was cooked to perfection it’s was fresh and crispy the chicken was gently cut to each piece having crispy skin and seasoning . The staff were very polite and professional the location is clean . Definitely one of the better locations.

Stopped in for lunch to try their $5 advertised combos. Decided to try the Double Chicken Tostada combo instead. The place was very busy at the drive thru so decided to go inside. It was packed with CalFire guys, but they'd already gotten their food. Whew. Only waited 3 minutes to get my order. Food was hot n fresh and plenty to eat. I will order this meal again!

The chicken was good. The side dishes were no so good. The lobby was messy. So many restaurants being short handed it seems like they were doing what they could.

Hadn't been here in awhile. They have remodeled the dining area and it looks great. The food was very good. The only thing that slowed me down was me trying to make up my mind on what to order. Lot's of good choices.

I ordered a burrito & had no chicken 😕 had lots of rice. 2nd order was Tostada salad was good, I had to get up 3 times cuz he didn't put everything that is needed(napkin, utensils, cup for my drink)

Man i was hoping the chicken avocado burrito would taste better. It made a mess in my car, chicken had no flavor, barely any cabbage, the rest of the ingredients where not all that great. I was hoping for more epic flavors, just any flavor to be in particular. Half way through my tortilla got really soggy, not worth the price. Taquitos were good.

This restaurant is clean. We ordered our food and did not have to waited less than 10 minutes. The original $5 combo meal is delicious and filling. The combo included chicken bowl, tortillas and a drink.

Great food & service but horrible location. Many businesses closed around it & lots of homeless hanging around the parking lot & adjoining lots. Need to find a better location. Love the food but don't feel safe going there, especially after dark.

Take out order for my mom, she was happy with everything except the salad, it didn't have tomatoes or any other vegies.

Staff was very friendly. Food and atmosphere were great! -1 for toilet, drink station cleanliness and seats/window sills needing a little wipe due to dust. Most is due to customer traffic. There was one dark plastic lining that was scotch-taped to the wall that my toddler kept trying to pick at; located beneath the window that's East of the Southern door. Needs glue, at least. Overall, it was a great experience and we will be returning.

Pretty good for fast food. We hit the drive-thru - it was quick, and the staff was very nice. The food was also pretty good. Did you know they have chicken here‽ 😁

DELICIOUS CHICKEN BOWLS! I highly recommend the Chicken Bowls as the chicken is grilled, flavorful, and hearty. El Pollo Loco has great portions when it comes to chicken bowls. They come with rice, beans, salsa, lettuce, and sour cream. I got the combo which comes with a soda and small bag of chips, it was about $17 bucks. I found the combo was a little too pricey, but satisfying. The service was good, I only had an issue with the drive-thru wait. I wasn’t in a long line, yet I was waiting for a good minute. Hemet’s El Pollo Loco is pretty tame although it’s on a busy street (Florida Ave). It’s quiet and people usually opt for the drive-thru window. The inside of the restaurant is clean and well-kept.

Finally! An El Pollo Loco that allows me to eat a whole chicken wing. It actually had meat on it that was juicy and edible. You have no idea how long it's been since I've been able to enjoy a chicken wing from El Pollo Loco. 😅 I'm usually nervous to order it. I ate that wing so fast, I couldn't take a photo of it.... But you can see the quality in the rest of the meal. 🤓 Thank you! The broccoli was moldy, inedible for me. Potatoes were great. Customer service was great, but no napkins and I made a mess. 😅

First time trying El Pollo loco in like 25yrs and it was pretty good I got both of the new whole wing meals the tapatio wings were okay but the cotija and garlic are the Bomb the rice was okay and the fries are really good as long as you use the salsa bar to get some extra toppings for them. The service was super slow especially since when I got there only two people in line definitely need to speed it up oh yeah really good churros 👍👍

They charge about $2.00 more than the El Pollo Loco in Menifee and San Jacinto. Why? Food is good, but not as good as the one in Menifee. Customer service at the drive thru wasn't all that either.

Food was fast, and delicious. However, my Double Avocado chicken salad was in a much smaller bowl, almost half the serving size as pre-covid, but the price is the same. Not happy.

The place is ok. A bit dirty. Employees are nice. The food is ok but in the new enchiladas they just add 3 counted shrimps on each. Come on! For 9 bucks you can add more.

It has been some time since I last visited El Pollo Loco, I always enjoyed my meals. This time the chicken was dry every piece.

Just okay.... Taste of chicken has declined over the years. It is a healthy meal option, not many such options out there at fast food places these days.

Waited so long for 3 piece chicken plate so I was offered a breast, it wasn't done. Then while waiting the beans were cold. It was replaced with broccoli that was not cooked enough.

We tried their tamales. Sad to say, as good as El Pollo Loco food has been in the past, these tamales we're generally tasteless. Of course, I'm comparing them to what my wife has made in years past. The masa was tasteless, and the chicken filling had no flavor. There were no vegetables in the meat - just chicken. All in all, we will not be ordering any of their tamales in the future. But make your own opinion. My expectation was compared to what my wife made in the past. You may enjoy it. As for me, I will stay with their chicken dinners on subsequent visits.

I like this restaurant I come here or bought from drive tru at least 3 times per week but the only thing I don't like AND DONT WANT SOUNDS LIKE RACIST but don't understand y put and Afro-American person on speaker when they don't even know what's the menu and ingredients. It's not he's fault for sure but Manager should teach at least sum Mexican food ingredients and how to understand Latino Comunity.

Asked for juicy chicken. Got it, but they slipped one dry older piece in the middle. They didn't have plates so we had to use bowls. Over all the juicy chicken was very good

Staff seemed busy and less than helpful when needing to place an order. Felt like we were in the way and disruptive to their work flow... Food was predictable. Applying app points after the purchase whole still in the store needs to be restored.

3 stars for the 4.00 dollar soda it's taste to pool water alot of clorox

One of my favorite locations ..however on this particular day...the prepackaged green sauce was sour and bubbly...also,on numerous occasions forks/napkins not included in the bag.

.eat to dry, n over cook, I did go back n they only replace 5 out of 8, cause I brought bac 5, it has happend a few time before but this was the first time I decided to go in n speak with floor Crew leader, I had to drive 10 miles rpund trip, they should have giving me a whole order, 8 piece with 2 sides n tortilla..the chicken are seen to be baby chicks not full grown..

Good customer service, the problem was I order a avocado burrito. And receive a burrito with no avacado at all. If they did not have enough they should have let me the buyer now. I drove back to work just to find out that they had rip me off. I couldn't go back sence I was in my lunch brake and they talk for ever in the drive thru. Bad communication.

It was ok. One of my items on my order was a taquito. It looked like it was left out probably all day. It was actually cold & split more than half way down with the meat crusted from exposure. I never in all my life have been served a cold taquito anywhere. Or a taquito that looked like that. I would have been better off getting a frozen taquito from the grocery store & cooking it myself. There is more meat in the taquitos from the grocery store. When I went to the counter I asked for a replacement because mine is cold. It was snatched from my hand by the employee without a word & thrown in the trash. I walked away for a minute to give them time to make my taquito. As I walk back up to check on my order. A manager & the employee is speaking very rudely about me in spanish. Little do they know I understand everything they say but they assume I don't because I am not Mexican. I will not repeat what was said, but I will say it was very racist. They hand me my taquito I respond "thank you, have a nice day" in Spanish & walk away. Their eyes light up with a uh oh look on their face. There is no diversity in this location & I WILL NOT be eating at this El Pollo Loco location ever again!

The tortilla soup is not good now, they should call it chicken 🐔 soup with tostada crumbs, poor quality. It's different than before, blame it on COVID-19, lol... service could've been better

I was very unhappy with my recent interaction with this Pollo Loco. I ordered a Baja Shrimp salad through the drive thru. I got home & realized they gave me chicken instead. I do like the chicken, however I was really wanted to try their new item. My uncle went back to have them switch it. All they did was remove the chicken from the top and replace it with shrimp. I thought this was the wrong way to resolve the issue as it was their mistake to begin with, we had to waste time and gas to go back, and we still did not get what we asked for. The salad has different components which is why I wanted to try it, it is not as simple as switching the protein. The salad I ordered has pepitas and queso fresco, no corn. Definately, not the right way to handle this situation. It felt as if they were upset we called them out for their mistake and did not take the time to correct THEIR OWN mistake. Not going back!

This is my second visit to this location. Both times there were mistakes with my order. This visit I got dark meat instead of white meat. The receipt was correct but the food I received was not. The quality of the food was well below what I know El Pollo Loco to be. The red salsa was nothing like its supposed to be and the chicken was dry. When is dark meat ever dry? I am very unhappy with this location as a whole. Sorry but I don't recomend El Pollo Loco Hemet.

Your order a 10 piece it's almost $18 just chicken no sides. Then they fit it in the little black to go box. I open it and count the chicken pieces. They have wings that are 1/2 dollar size and legs that look like a baby chicken. But ! Those pieces count as 1 piece so you pay all that money like potato chips the box is half full of air ! Disappointed.

I haven't been to an El Pollo Loco in a few years due to the quality of their food. Sad to say it is worse than before. The chicken in the tostada salad was fatty, the avocado was old and brown, the lettuce was also old and wilted and overall just no flavor. The tostada had no flavor but was crunchy. The BRC burrito is a joke for what you pay. Do yourself a favor, just skip going to El Pollo Loco and eat elsewhere.

I dont think they get their chicken at the same place Kentucky chicken gets their birds. I never got to taste it because there wasn't any meat just bones. There wasn't any reason to remember my dentures because all i was doing was sucking on the bones.

Don't know what happened here. This place use to be great. When I was there, there was a mix up on my order and three other orders.Customers were getting irritated. Not sure I will go back, very disappointed :(

This location doesn't seem to understand that people want salad dressing with their salad. Instead I was asked if I want salsa, I assumed like other locations, the salad dressing would be in the bag, that I don't have to ask in order to get dressing for my salad, but this has happened several times. Bad Service Given to my Wife. We got the Pollo Loco App and signed up for it. We followed the rules to get a free 8 piece meal. Or Total was almost 48.00 Dollars. Manager at this Place was Rude and wouldn't help her because she got the 12 Piece Family Meal and not the 10 piece. No where does it say u have to order a specific one. I have to say I’ve eaten at many ElPollo Loco locations for the past 20 years. I’ve eaten here twice since moving to Hemet both times the food was extremely disappointing! The customer service was just as bad! I won’t be back!! I was hoping the first visit was just an off day, however the second equally as bad.

The side salad was 3 dollars and was very small and mostly red cabbage and I could barely taste a dressing on it. It use to be a good place to eat and now it has the worst food and to expensive. Unless it's because I moved here from Nevada and it might be the Hemet store that's bad? I gave I star because I had to.

First thing the menu board was not working all the screens were blank. Second they were out of cup holders. Third they messed up my order and forgot to tortillas. Fourth I ordered a Pollo Bowl without rice and ended up with Pollo Bowl Soup, I'm not exaggerating it was like a bowl of soup. The rest of the food wasn't that good I don't think I'll be visiting that place again, KFC is right next door so I guess I'll be getting my chicken from Colonel Sanders.

It never fails... they always manage to screw up mine and my co-workers orders. About a month ago I ordered a chicken bowl when I got to work it was a shrimp bowl.. I'm allergic. My receipt said chicken bowl but I must have received someone else's order. Today I ordered a chicken bowl with black beans instead... got pinto beans anyways :-/ Definitely don't pay attention to detail.

I am not going to waste time on this place. If you have followed my restaurant reviews in Hemet, you will find that I am quite honest and complete on my experience. One word for this restaurant: NASTY !!!!!

Please don’t come here. I ordered a 3pc meal and only received a 2 piece meal leg and thigh. Horrible experience will never come back to this location again. Not worth driving back to get an extra piece. People please verify your orders.

Did Pollo Loco forget to use the salt? The beans tasted like you just opened a can and heated it up. You guys did Mexican Food an injustice. You guys should be ashamed of yourselves. I can cook better than your food. And the meal was not cheap. 63.00 dollars. I didn't mind spending the money if the food had tasted better. NEVER AGAIN WILL I EAT YOUR FOOD AGAIN.

Stop by this pollo loco bought some pollo bowls was very disappointed with the quality of the food so I guess know they are putting left over chicken on the pollo bowls unlike before when they cut the chicken into squares and put it in your chicken bowl and it was an even amount with the rice and beans quality of the food was terrible too staying away from this pollo locos in the area.
