Came here for Sunday jazz brunch. The drinks and food were very good but the atmosphere was fantastic. The jazz band (Griffin Woodard Quartet) that was playing was fantastic and the nods to "La La Land" (which had scenes filmed there) were great. We would definitely return.

I recommend you to visit this restaurant after looking around the Hermosa Beach Pier where Ryan Gosling sang “City Of Stars”. This place is where Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone danced together. It would be better that you check the schedule of performances of this restaurant. You can enjoy the lovely vibe with people who come to spend time here. You can also park in the parking lot behind behind this restaurant.

Isaac Paiz (AVENTURASCONLOSPAIZ)

What a nice place we found in our recent trip to Los Angeles. They had live music great ambience plenty of food selection good cocktails in a variety of extremely cold beer with definitely had a great time. Also they were featured on the movie La La Land, which makes this Place amazing, another thing we like to note it’s the this bar it’s been open since the 50s originally known as a Jazz bar definitely recommend it. The lighthouse has updated the menu and it is fantastic. Highlights being the deviled egg toast, hot chicken and fish tacos. Amazing cocktails as well. This is hands down my favorite spot on the pier now. Can't wait for music to start up.

Nice place... didn't eat any food so can't comment. Enjoyed my beer wife enjoyed her cocktail. Have a seat and enjoy..

Always loved the lighthouse, and love coming with friends and family. Fun atmosphere.... as long as the bouncer isn't there, he's a consistent bummer!!!!! Plenty of other good spots with happy ppl who will treat you kindly:)

cute little restaurant, we had to pay $10 each to get in (bc there’s a live band and it’s sunday) which i knocked a star off for but other than that the band was very cool and the food was really good! we got the chorizo nachos and lighthouse fries. also cool that the restaurant was featured in la la land.

I stopped by on my afternoon walk and date with myself. Decided to stay and watch the bands. The first one was a blues band and the second was a reggae one man band. Both were entertaining. I ordered the watermelon drink with tequila. I wished it had more watermelon in it. I also had the Mac and cheese.. not very cheesy.. and the sour dough bread with honey butter. The honey butter tasted a little organic and goat cheesy. I wasn't a fan but it was nice a crunchy. Overall the experience was nice. The waiters were very friendly and kind. I felt a little sad tonight. I met a friend there a couple years ago, and I miss that night. Wish I could go back and change things haha.

Went here for salsa and bachata night on a Tuesday while visiting from out of town and looking for a last-minute event. The usual 10:30 crowd spike doesn’t apply on Tuesdays, so it’s better to come earlier — around 9 — when the atmosphere is livelier. The music was great, mostly salsa with some bachata mixed in. The crowd leaned a bit older, and the leader-to-follower ratio was decent at one point. Drinks are available for purchase, free water is provided, and there’s a $10 cover charge at the door. Overall, a solid spot for a fun Tuesday night of dancing. Set your expectations to a low to mid level Friday/Saturday night.

The atmosphere and location was great. Went last night to their reggae night. We ordered the nachos, they were not too great. Our drinks were mediocre at best. We are willing to give them another visit for their jazz brunch. Maybe then we will see what everyone is raving about.

Wine not!?

One of the better places to catch live music anywhere really in LA. However, don't leave anything behind and watch your jackets. Throughout the years, we've had jackets stolen and somehow, if you leave anything there. It's never there the next day. They're lost and found is more like lost and stolen.

One of the worst experiences I've had at a restaurant. We were practically ignored the entire time, food took extremely long to come out, and by the time it came out, it was almost cold. Grilled cheese and hot chicken tasted bland and undercooked, and the small plate of fries felt like a rip off based on the price. If you're not an old white person ordering alcohol, you will get ignored. If you're here because of La La Land, just take the picture and leave, don't bother spending money here
