What a great place! Operating in the community for many years. Our first time. Made a res, then sat at the bar. Mitch was so friendly, and an excellent bartender. The couple next to us told us it used to be a music college that the husband went to over 60 years ago. Old-world decor and feel with actors and musicians autographs covering the walls from the Hershey Theater and local music scene. Menu was very large for a traditional Italian restaurant. But food was a mix of traditional and new creative dishes. We had the wild mushroom saute appetizer which was sooo rich and delicious. For dinners we enjoyed the pappardelle ragu and pescatore risotto. Amazing. 10 out of 10. Skip the flashier well-marketed tourist places for here - you won’t be disappointed! Plus they had Frank Sinatra playing in the background
We had a fantastic dinner here on Black Friday. We had the meatballs for an appetizer. Very good. The wedding soup was really good as well. I had the gnocchi with marinara sauce while my husband had the veal parm. Both were very good. Our son had a kids meal, which he loved as well. We finished with the deconstructed cannolis which was my favorite part of the meal! 🙂 We are not local but will definitely make it a stop on our list when we visit Hershey!
Staffing was great the waiter was polite and very talkative. He was very easy to talk to and made us feel comfortable, got some giggles out of us with his witty comments. Food was great! Drink was a-little strong to my liking, but that’s just my preference. Do not over estimate on the Stromboli size! It’s huge!!! Definitely brought it home for lunch the next day. Atmosphere was great, a-little to dark my older family members couldn’t read the menu cause the lighting was too low. They had to put the flashlight on their phone to read the menu. But the food was awesome!! Definitely will be back and recommend.
I absolutely LOVED eating here. I was on a group trip and they brought out our food, 20 people’s food so fast. I ordered the tortellini blush, hoping it would be similar to another dish I absolutely love, and it was everything I had hoped and more. I usually can’t eat an entire meal at a restaurant in one sitting. I have to take it to go and eat the rest later on. I finished that tortellini blush in maybe 5-10 minutes it was so good. Maybe I was starving from being on the road and running around all day with a huge group of people, but either way, it was absolutely delicious and the servers were super knowledgeable about the town!
Went here on my first night at Hershey, PA. It was the only restaurant/bar that was open till midnight. Had a couple of old fashions and a delicious seafood fettuccini alfredo with a side salad. Will come back on my next visit.
As a new resident of PA and Hershey, this was some of the best food and service I’ve ever had. And I got it delivered!!! The Saltimbocca is one of the best Italian dishes I’ve ever had (and I’ve been to Italy). GO HERE!!
The menu have a lot of items the dishes itself. It’s delicious. The price is affordable. It’s not that expensive on the heart of the city.
This was my first time here, I took my girlfriend on a date. We both ENJOYED IT! The service was fast, polite and gave us our space. The atmosphere was nice and cozy, we sat on the lounge booth side that has the bar next to it. Great art on the walls. We tried the famous meatballs and they were everything you could imagine from an Italian restaurant! Only thing I would say is the meatballs should come with just 1 piece of bread maybe to share as we got 4 of the meatballs. But other than that 1 suggestion 10/10!!!! Would recommend, will recommend, and have recommended to friends already. Great Job Fenicci’s 👏🏾
The food is very good, tried multiple types of dishes at this point all are well done. The price is reasonable as well. My friends and I order whatever we want and the bill was always surprisingly low considering. Their spaghetti is always cooked right and and sauces are always tasty. The tiramisu was also very good. My only complaint was the food could come out a little bit hotter.
This place is absolutely fantastic on all counts. Picture this, Hershey, 10 pm, 4 hungry people, everything closed or closing, its raining and to top it off it's the BFF's birthday🙈 to say we were hungry and desperate is an understatement. We missed our reservation elsewhere as we kept getting lost. But man when they say God works things out He truly does. This place was MUCH better than our original reservation. From the moment we walked in, they were warm, friendly and attentive. Honestly it felt like going to glam grandma's house for dinner. The food was phenomenal!! Seriously, the birthday girl has never been a fan of Italian food, but Fenicci's converted her. We thoroughly enjoyed the food, the service and our waitress was amazing. The kitchen was very accommodating (by the time we placed our order, they had switched to the late night menu, but they graciously allowed our selections). We all wish that we lived closer so that we could go back there for dinner ever so often. This is a must when in Hershey!!
My family joined us to celebrate my Birthday. Great food! Service was on spot! Can't wait to come back to enjoy more of your menu. By the way.... make sure you get the dessert... you will thank me later. We got the cheesecake and carrot cake.
Went for Valentine's dinner. Service was great and was seated for reservation right away. The spinach artichoke dip was great. Had the tortellini pomodoro was excellent for myself and my wife had the pappardelle ala vodka. Waitress was attentive and helpful. Overall excellent meal and night
We sat in the bar area and had a great experience. We tried several items off the menu and all were tasty. So many to choose from, I need a few more trips to really expand on my thoughts, but I would describe the menu & food as very old school traditional recipes, & that's exactly what I expected, so no surprise there. One thing that caught my eye was homemade Italian Wedding soup, which I absolutely love, but couldn't fit into my meal this time. Our server did her best to attend to our needs, but we hit a bit of a rush at the bar when we arrived and had to wait a bit long for our first round. Peroni on tap is a big plus for me, very happy when it arrived. My wife and I loved the booth by the bar and we will definitely return to try more Italian favorites.
We had a great time.....food and service was decent. Our server was Trey, he felt the need to tell me to not spell his name TRAY 😂🤣😂🤣. We had a good time, had the dining room to ourselves and we just enjoyed the quiet time with the family. Frozen PEANUT BUTTER PIE WAS A HIT.
The food was decent. I got the lasagna and enjoyed it, my wife got the fettuccine and it was okay but not great. We got the spinach artichoke dip which was great, the salads that came with the entries were decent, about what you'd expect. Everything went smoothly until the end when we asked for a desert menu. We waited about 10-15 minutes for the menu and they were out of what my wife wanted. Other than that, the service was fast.
I ate here like ten years ago and remember it being a pleasant experience. This time, it was quite the opposite. A lot of the recent reviews are similar to what we encountered. However, some of the reviews were really good, so we figured we'd chance it. Big mistake. We had a reservation for five people at 9:45, and the kitchen is supposedly open until 11:30, so it's not like we came in right before close. None of the wait staff looked like they wanted to be there. Our waiter essentially just asked us "What do you want?" and then left. When the food came, it was just dropped off at our table by a different server. My order wasn't even correct and had to be remade. We were barely checked on and there was very little actual serving going on from our server. As for the food, the bread was very dry. The salad dressing was good. The sausage was alright, as was the Alfredo. However, everything did need a decent amount of salt added to it. The food wasn't exactly bad, but I've had a lot better and it was just very mediocre. We could have gone to Olive Garden for much cheaper, had excellent service, and with the same amount of love put into the food. We weren't offered dessert or anything, so we just paid and left as soon as possible. We shouldn't have even left the $10 tip we did leave. As a server myself, I would be ashamed to treat my customers like that.
We went for New Year's Eve Dinner as we were visiting Hershey. We made reservations 3 weeks in advance. They texted us and got us in on time. But other then that it was a horrible experience. I ordered the Mediterranean Seafood which states it has shrimp - scallops - and crab. $28.00 I got dry Fettuccine noodles - 6 small shrimp - maybe 4 small scallops - and next to no crab meat. The Olive Garden is more italian then this place. The waiter was friendly and that was the only plus about this place.
This needs to be shared for those of you with children. I don't waste my time writing reviews but it's necessary here. We booked an air bnb in the apartments above the restaurant for a Hersheys trip for 4 children, aged 6 and under, one disabled child who also had diabetes. On check in, it's required to walk through the outdoor patio to access the stairs. No problem. The wait staff was on the patio dressing the tables for the evening. One waitress was on the patio throwing out expletives, talking like complete trash and being completely unprofessional. Granted, I wasn't a restaurant guest but I did have 4 kids with me. Just disgusting. As a guest, there's a discount at the restaurant. We decided to go for dinner. We asked the hostess if they could accommodate 6 with no reservation and they offered a table outside (it's 25⁰) with heat lamps. It's still too cold for children so we asked for indoors. They gave us a table inside but told us we had one hour to get out because of reservations. We were fine with this as long as the food came out in time. So we go to the table, we don't even get our coats off and the waitress, the one throwing our expletives in front of my children earlier is our server. Before we can take our coats off, she says "let's keep this easy, have the kids get the same drink or something, maybe give them lemonade".... ARE YOU KIDDING ME. We haven't even sat down and you are rushing us demanding 4 kids agree on a drink despite a diabetic child who can't have lemonade. I said to her, I get if you're too busy to take care of us but that kind of treatment is appalling. She told me she was too busy for this. So, not sure if the discrimination was the fact she got served a table with 4 children or that one was disabled but either way, she's an embarrassment and disgrace. Her name is Amina (not sure on spelling). This was brought up to the manager Ron, who did a great job trying to correct the issue. We were seated elsewhere. Served by Steve who was great. Food was fine. Drinks were fine. Saw Amina still serving while we ate, that's reason enough not to return, especially if your child is disabled or has special needs. Please be mindful dining here, though the food may be okay, there are staff that have no tolerance for children and unless your children can all order the same thing "to keep it easy" this isn't the place for you.
Literally terrible experience. Placed an order on the phone and everything was verbally confirmed. $65 later and we are back at our hotel and there is no dressing on the salad, about 10 pieces of calamari with no lemons on the side like we asked and about 5 bites of crab tortellini for $28! And then when I called back, I was told “I will take care of it” by the woman on the phone and then she hung up. I have no idea if that means I will be refunded or what. Never go here. Not to mention a salad was supposed to come with the tortellini and no cutlery.
The restaurant looks nice, but terrible service from either one of the hostesses you'll stand there for 15 minutes with nobody around, before anybody asks. If your for pickup or if you have a reservation there's just this feeling of like oh well that's somebody else's job to care. I was all good with that until I got the food... $76, the mushroom saute was salty an cold, The pasta was salty and cold. The stromboli was warm but undercooked the only good thing about the place was the salad that was really good, I'm surprise cuz it's such a nice looking place and they have great reviews but I will definitely not be recommending or returning.
