Nice workers and good Sicilian slices. Great tasting pastas like rigatoni montinara and also their penne a la vodka. But overall a great place to eat for lunch or dinner!

Great "Pizza Place." Friendly staff, delicious food, and very clean. I haven't had a single bad dish and I have eaten most of the items on the menu. I judge a pizza joint by their plain slice and an italian restaurant by their chicken parmesan, and both of these dishes are great. Their specialty pizzas are delicious and flavorful, and their seafood dishes are always fresh. Nothing fishy or iffy. The only issue is the lack of parking, at times you have to park in the lot next door. The parking doesn't affect my rating because the food is awesome.

Awesome place! One of the better restaurants in Hewlett! I love all the pizzas I've tried, and the eggplant parm is among the best I've tasted! The cappuccino is divine and the wait staff has always been friendly and nice. Definitely one of the go to places if you are passing through, or live or work in Hewlett.

Living in Valley Stream for 15 years. This is by far best pizza around. The crust in is tasty . The sauce is just right and cheese not to greasy. I worked at a pizzeria. I know good pizza🍕. I recommend this plsce.

Great tasting food & service, however on the expensive side. Almost $5 per slice imo is high. However, if you're looking for a quick bite/ place to grab lunch, Pizza Place is worth the visit.

Best pizza in Hewlett! Highly recommend it!

Yet another great place for pizza in the town of Hewlett. The food is exceptional and the variety is huge. Prices are good and food is made quickly, yet the chefs still manage outstanding pizza. If you are visiting Hewlett or Woodmere, don't leave without stopping at the Pizza Place.

Buffalo chicken. Slice is the best in miles! I order here, to stay and to go, multiple times a month. They are always very nice and quick delivery time.

The service was very good and the staff was very attentive. We received our food quickly and everyone’s entrees were very hot and fresh. The staff is very accommodating. Wow. The portions were so big. I had the special veal eggplant with mozzarella in a sauce with a side of fettuccine. I have enough for two more dinners. My husband had the chicken over pasta with peppers and onions. He has tomorrows dinner😊happy wife. The dinners were delicious. They even gave me extra bread to take home. I highly recommend. Our waitress so nice and this establishment is so clean. Can’t wait to go back. Enjoy

The Pizza Place is my favorite Italian restaurant. It has the best pizza in the game and has fresh, thick, and tasty lasagna. The also had amazing fresh mozzarella sticks. The service is great and I got my food in a reasonable amount of time. It was fresh, tasty, and I couldn’t wait to inform everybody who loves Italian food to go to The Pizza Place!! This is an amazing restaurant that deserves more people to come!!

One of the best restaurants in town. Grew up going here and continue to stop by years later. It’s like fine wine, just keeps getting better with time. Can’t go wrong with their slices or my favorite, their chicken parm hero. Great place. Great service. Monitor people wearing masks, felt very safe. Best part, LGBTQ+ friendly!!!

Not only is the pizza wonderful here, but the accessibility of the entrance way is also great.There are no steps which creates an easier entrance. There is a lot of seating available and aisle ways are easy to maneuver through. The staff is so nice, funny, and make the best food!

This is one of the best pizzeria, I have been too. The food is delicious, the setting welcomes comfort. One of the best buffalo chicken pizza I have ever tasted. And the rolls (OMG).the pasta is to die for The prices are reasonable, the staff is friendly and welcoming. Definitely coming back.

This was my first time getting anything from here, it will NOT be my last. The chopped salad my nephew ordered was so good. We ordered extra BBQ chicken because we were sharing the salad it was really good! Buffalo chicken slice was delicious and just as delicious reheated the next night!

It's a solid place. Food is good, but pricey. I order for delivery and the pizza always comes out to be a mess and shook all around, which is annoying. But they make a mean Bacon Chicken Ranch pie.

I won't say love because it wasn't as good as usual when I went here the other day. Now the pizza and entree dishes are delicious don't get me wrong, as well as the ditilini soup, but stick to things ordered everyday. For instance the shrimp oreganata while tasty is much too small of a portion, chicken verde is great as well as marsala.

This was my 1st visit to Pizza Place, thier establishment was very clean and well kept. The pizza was tasty and fresh. They serve all kinds of Italian dishes, salads, and sandwiches. I'll definitely return for a meal anytime Im in the area. Great place for lunch.

Owner is a really friendly guy donated food for a charity event at valley stream south high school multiple times. Pizza here is awesome. My favorite has to be the primavera best pie of pizza I have ever had.

For the most part the food is very good. But the people who answer the phone are not always polite and when you get there to pick up your order the whole team looks and sounds agitated; maybe understaffed.

Pizza is ok, not that Italian recipe i love. Crust can be thinner. Customer service, outstanding. They make you feel as though you're the only customer there! The place gets busy. Very clean.

Good pizza (I'd hope so given the name haha). Actually though, the pizza is quite good - among my favorite in the area. They're always quick, especially when you order on the phone for pickup. Service is fine, though you may have to wait a couple minutes to be helped if they are busy. Parking has never been an issue for me, but I've only ever gone for lunch. Everything seems priced fairly, so mom complaints on that end either. Definitely a go-to, and a definite recommendation if you are in the area!

Its good...been good for years. One thing though.... It gets VERY crowded when the high school kids eat lunch there. Mostly nice kids....but VERY busy. Their crew has been with them for years! Update...no changes. Nice place with a busy lunchtime crowd

Good pizza and good vibes. Saw many locals come to eat there. Not a 5 as did not have crust on bottom and a bit too thick for my NYC slices.

Well the pizza is okay, i love the garlic knots and the pizza a whole pie is good but a lice over the counter... eww i dont know why, it just is, the employees are not the nicest people in the world, sure they do okay since they are near a high school but many of them go other places due to lack of respect such as Alphies down the street which is very good pizza and extremely nice employees. Pizza Place the workers are often rude to customers and have even made fun of some students with many witnesses. Id say that is illegal although i do not know for sure but it still costs a lot of buisness. I recomend NOT going there although it is a nice place wthout the employees and the food though is not so great but ordering from there is different the food is okay when you order and the delivery guys are decent. The pizza is pretty good. But they lost two stars because of the two times I went there; where customer service in the waitresses is just meh. The first time I went there (pre covid) my table and the shakers were hella dusty. The waitress I had should've focused more on the customers and less on increasing her followers on Instagram lol if it wasn't for the older gentleman I wouldn't haven even given them my money. I went there again recently and they burnt food in the kitchen lol the smoke was the only fun thing about the wait. The pizza is good but the attitudes are just ruining the pizza. :|

Food is good. Had a sub that was nice. The service is terrible though. I called for delivery and the girl on the phone had an attitude about how busy she was. Granted that may be true, but she completely dismissed my question. Give me a break, I only asked her what the best selling sandwich was so I could get one myself. I will only order there again if I am forced to.

Nice thin crust pizza. A regular pie is probably perfectly adequate to great, but I ordered some toppings (spinach, broccoli, mushrooms) which were absolutely slathered in oil. Thus, the whole pie was very greasy and it was difficult to eat more then a slice or two, even after blotting.

Food ranged from mediocre to slightly above average. Granted, I didn’t get pizza which seems to be what people are raving about the most. The baked ziti was pretty alright, but the lasagna wasn’t even lasagna. It was a flat mess of meat, cheese and sauce all sitting in a pool of water. Garlic bread was the best I’ve ever had which was unexpected. I suppose that if you’re looking for a slice of pizza, this is the place to go. If you want an Italian fine dining experience, look elsewhere.

It was OK. I was disappointed, because I remember how good it was when I was a kid, but there are different owners now. So it looks better, but the pizza isn't as good. It's still round pie, but the crust is kind of flat and it doesn't have that flexibility that really good pizza has. Like it did in the old days.

My father walked into the restaurant and ordered two meals to go. Mistakingly, he did not pay attention to the credit card charge nor did he open the bag. After getting home we found only 1 meal. They only charged for 1. I called and explained. They said they would make a new order AND deliver it. The food is delicious BUT...... I think it was a poor business decision to charge $1.40 delivery charge.

Normally, I love going to the Pizza Place. It always has very fresh food and excellent service. However when I went there last night and shared a salad with my daughter, the salad tasted funny. When I tasted the salad dressing, it tasted sour. When my daughter tasted the dressing, she agreed. Needless to say, I was afraid to eat the salad. When I told the waiter Orlando, he didn't take anything off the bill. Very disappointed. 🙁

Just got a simple delivery of veal parm and spaghetti. Wow not only was the veal tough they put everything in one messy dish. As for delivery is another opinion. They use to be good years ago serving quality dishes. I think they have gotten lazy with the quality of the food.

Man....the pizza looked so good when i opened the box, but extremely disappointed. 2 sicilian and a regular $13 The regular was fine. Solid sauce to cheese ratio, good crust, good under. The Sicilian though....the dough was literally cooked half way through. Nothing like raw dough to ruin your lunch! Wound up not eating anything except the cheese and what little sauce was on these slices. So much potential, just blows the dough was raw

I come here all the time but today 08/04/25 the senior guys behind the counter was crazy rude to some kids. Almost kicking them out and telling them their bikes can’t be outside and if they are not ordering to leave and to shut up and sit down. As a parent I would hate it if someone spoke to my child like this. I can tell the kids look ashamed…. So disappointed

I’ve been here before it’s literally the only pizza place near my house and I’ve never had a problem before. I ordered a half cheese and half pepperoni pizza for delivery and when I opened it I started laughing at the fact only two slices have pepperoni on it? I’m not expecting a beautiful perfect pizza but genuinely how do you miss this? When I called I was told the “owner cut it himself”. So I guess the owner saw the pizza and said “yeah that’s a good pizza for $30”. Not to mention all the cheese literally falling off the pizza. But I guess you can judge it yourself.

I enjoy half trey house salad been ordering this for awhile but they quoted $20 more than it should be. People check your bill and your change. Ill go to mother kellys in rockville center or the gristmill in east rockaway.

My wife ordered on the phone from this place, and I went to pick it up, the white old man spoke to me in a very bad way no customer service or nothing ask me ( yes) no hi or hello, anyway I paid my order and I’m about to leave same guy call me ask let me check the bag like I’m stealing someone else food or something like that, I was literally speechless, this guy literally need to be dealt with, I would have done something crazy if I didn’t have a baby in the car.

I went to this pizza place because I was going to the bank nearby. The guy at the counter was very rude, when I asked him about the prices instead of answering he just said "here is the receipt, we don't steal here", and he kept on mumbling that I was on the phone etc. I asked for the price, because for two slices of pizza and two ice teas I paid $12.28! which I think is outrageous. I am not coming back here ever. Best pizza and staff in the area Is MARINARA on Peninsula & Mill Road.

Took my wife here for dinner and the food was undercooked and cold. When I told the waitress the situation she was very rude and nasty about it. Waited over 30 minutes for our food that wasn’t even good. If I could give them zero stars I would.

We ordered food from this place, and when we picked it up, we got a completely different food. We called, asking about why we got said food, and they started arguing with us. Poor management, rude service. It got out of hand, they even hung up on us. The food that we go didn’t even taste good. It was a horrific experience, we’re never going back.

I went here to get some pizza and experienced rude behavior in what I can only describe as misogynistic attitudes by a male employee named Cris. I would stay away from this place is your a woman because I was given no respect as a female customer. It’s not worth it and there’s honestly better places to spend your money.

Staff at this establishment do not understand that when someone wishes to make two separate orders, that for each individual order, method of payment should be asked for each order. Cashier assumed both orders would be on card and ran my card twice without consent for second transaction. Management are easily frustrated by technology and ultimately had to give cash refund. If a customer states two separate orders, and it's too difficult to ask how each other is going to be paid, then that employee should not be working. I was offered bags for my two sodas, but I am plenty capable of carrying items myself, and do not need customer service assistance (I call it that, loosely). Let me get my items, listen to the order details to a fault, give me my receipts as needed and required, and move on. Go here with cash only, record personnel o document as necessary to ensure orders and payment is done correctly. Shame this is one of the only two legitimate pizza places left. Marinara is the other one, and I believe both are owned by the same people. Avoid them as well by extension.

The guy taking my order was a moron. I repeated my order several times and it still came out wrong. When I asked for a discount because it was wrong they said no. YOU NEED A MODERN PHONE ORDERING SYSTEM. GET WITT THE TIMES. I’ve been coming here for years and the pizza is great, but common this is the service industry. There are other great places in town that don’t suck at service.

Normally order food from this place from time to time. Decided to order at 8:30 for delivery. Not a big order, just enough for 2 people. Never showed up. I payed on card so I was charged $40 for something I didn’t get. I went to call and ask where my food was and they never picked up. This is disgusting. Awful service.

I’ve been eating here for about 15 years and I’ve heard things from past employees about their experiences but to say out loud in front of customers and in front of my 4 year old black son that the group of black boys (probably from the high school) playing outside should just go home and kill themselves and then go outside and tell them to get out of there is too much for me. The food is good but I won’t be eating there anymore.

I never EVER right reviews like this but the people that work here have zero customer service skills. Tried to order for delivery to my house, which is 10 minutes away & have received deliveries from them before. The girl on the phone was SO nasty repeating over and over that they won’t deliver. She finally asked someone and he said it needed to be over 60 dollars which has not been the case in the past. I order from here all the time to my job & will never go back or order again just because they’re all extremely rude. Teach your staff some manners.

This morning I witness staff working the oven and handling garbage at the same time. He did not wash his hands. He then proceeded to take extra garbage bags out the bottom of the bin and placed it on the table that mix the pizza dough and make other dishes. I was absolutely disgusted and threw my food out. Other staff were present and didn’t blink a lash. This appears to be common practice.

Went there this afternoon for two slices. No drink, just two slices. When they told me $10.50 I laughed and said really? An entire pie is a little more than $20 most places. Its bread cheese and sauce for God sake...I said no thank you and can I have my $20 back. The counter guy was pretty rude and tried to embarrass me screaming "Have a nice day"!!!! At the top of his lungs. What a joke. Never again will I go back.

My 13 year old granddaughter was there with her friends and an older man began harassing them, terrifying them, and the store owner/staff seeing this happening did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. They watched as these young girls were being terrorized and did absolutely nothing to intervene. Unexcusable and despicable. Store is obviously not a safe place for kids. Everyone should be aware of this and act accordingly.

Since our last visit they've changed the pizza recipe! The crust and sauce seem to be the same but the cheese was nasty and there was too much of it. Our party had 3 different kinds of slices and they were all nasty. I can't speak for the kitchen items but the pizza now is a hard pass. Bummer, it used to be good!
