Love the vibe here! You can tell they use the freshest Ingredients and put a lot of care into crafting the best pies which are top notch. Everyone has a smile on their face here and I love going here whenever I can, the inside is so gorgeous too. I love the gluten free pizza options as well! A *must* visit
Great lunch today, thanks much! Staff was "On It" every minute, nice to see. We are local and will be back often. BL
I had Ollie's for the first time last week and was hooked! My favorite is the Roman pie- the crust was incredible and the chunky tomato sauce complimented it perfectly. They have options for vegetarians and vegans without compromising taste or quality. As a Philadelphia native, I'm not easy to please when it comes to pizza and these pies did not disappoint. I brought 4 pies back to Philly to share with my friends and family because they were so good! Their natural wine selection is solid- try the sparkling rosé and it won't disappoint. They also carry my favorite cider company Graft on draft. I love their approach of offering simple, quality, and local fresh ingredients. Plus it's a local family-owned business! Can't wait to OD on pizza when I'm back in town again!
An absolutely delightful Saturday night at Ollie's! What an inviting place to gather with others in the community in their welcoming and comfortable outdoor space. We were greeted with smiles and readiness to create a special experience for our family. Our server, Patty, was exceptional! And....the FOOD!!! We began with a variety of drink offerings; from wine to cocktails to delicious non-alcoholic offerings that were delicious. The Caesar salad was scrumptious and the Hot Honey Glazed Wings and Broccolini disappeared from our table quickly! Then came the pizza!! We ordered a White Pizza and a Grandma's Gluten Free...both unforgettably fabulous!! Sitting among other groups of friends and family....sharing pizza; a simple pleasure made so special by Ollie's care and attention to quality and the care of their customers. I am already looking forward to our next visit to the area to see our family and share another special experience at Ollie's.
Ollie’s is the best. Sophie and the whole ownership team treat you like family, and the pizza is on par with some of the best sit down spots in NYC. I understand some people are surprised at the prices, but this isn’t a slice shop, it’s a sit down pizza restaurant with top quality ingredients. The grandma pie with pepperoni is delicious, with some Calabrian chili if you like some spice. There are great vegan and gluten free options. The outdoor seating is amazing too.
First time visiting here but not the first time having their delicious pizza. The pizza is so delicious their wings are good too. The outdoor seating was nice. The service was great. If you're a pizza person then definitely stop here
It's all about the famous onion pizza. Life changing taste! Meatballs were great too. Can't wait to try other menus when we go back.
Absolutely outstanding. Napoletana style pizza with inventive, locally sourced toppings. Their crust is chewy, a little tangy and nicely charred on the edges. I'll be thinking about their n'duja pie for a while. Appetizers, wine list and cocktails are also wonderful (get the boquerones!) and well priced. A lovely experience!
Absolutely delicious pizza! I got a white pie which comes with caramelized onions and ricotta. I added black olives and am so glad I did since they were the most flavorful black olives I've ever had. I'm happy to pay a little extra for a pizza that is made with such high quality ingredients. Ollie's is a fantastic addition to the area and I look forward to going back soon!
I previously wrote a review that was negative about the service and would like to provide an update: Ollie's reached out to me and went well above and beyond to address the concern. This is very much appreciated and shows they care about their customer's experience. As I mentioned in my previous review, the food is excellent here. The pies, the sides, everything is top-notch. Whenever we are in the area we always look forward to sitting outside and enjoying Ollie's pizza and look forward to doing so again.
Finally made the long drive out here while I was in town for another event. I've been wanting to check Ollies for awhile now, and it did not disappoint! Highly recommend to anyone who loves great pizza with excellent quality of ingredients! Me and my friend tried the Famous Onion Pie and it was delicious, we also had some garlic knots and cacao Pepe arancini. Everything was amazing, I definitely need to come back again and make that hour drive well worth it!
Some of the best pizza I’ve ever had?! Yes it’s true. And hands-down the best gluten-free crust I’ve ever encountered. Elevated pizza w/ no pretension. I can’t remember the last time I’ve been this excited about a restaurant before! Beautiful, elegant space; great people; the best vibes. Worth the trip.
So good. Come for the pizza, stay for the merch! Must visit if in High Falls.
Honestly the best pizza in NY state - better vs NYC. Great great great
We had wings with blue cheese, a meatball parm sub and a Hot Bobby pizza. First off, the setting and experience is perfect. You set your own pace and once you're ready to order, you head to the register and place your order. It's remarkably smart. You're never waiting because you essentially place your own order at your pace. Food was incredible. We didnt try the cocktails but they had a few tasty sounding specials. Blue cheese was clearly homemade and the wing sauce was perfect - spicy and not overly buttery. The meatball parm sub had me dancing in my seat and the pizza, which we took home, reheated as if it was fresh. The best "spicy pepperoni" pie I've wver had in my life. Do yourself a favor and check them out!
I cannot even begin to explain what joy the ceasar salad gave me! Beautifully and thoughtfully executed food - high quality fresh ingredients and flavor combinations. Delicious all the way to the crust. What a gem.
Ollie's pizza never fails to provide the best food quality and service. It is a constant staple in my book when I'm in town. I highly recommend as it truly is an experience to have.
Even though I make pizza all the time, I still have to get my weekly Ollie's fix! The staff is wonderful and the quality of the food is seriously amazing, and the margarita pie is on par with what you will find in Napoli. I also love the white and grandma pies. We're vegetarian and have no problem stuffing our faces. Haven't tried the vegan option, but I'm sure it must be good as well!
Waiter was absolutely sweet and friendly. He recommended The vodka sauce pie with pepporoni (Hot bobby) amazing and delicious! Crust was brick over wood stove cooked, and the flavor was definitely deliciousness! Wonderful will be back! We are from Nyc so we are tough to please when it comes to pizza. But you won't be disappointed.
I’m gluten free and good lordy this pizza was delicious!! I’ve only had one other gluten free pizza out to eat that was this good and it’s all the way in Colorado at Brown Dog Pizza. Ollies, yall are the bomb! Super cute outdoor setup perfect for kids to burn energy while the parents eat.
I love this place! We shared a round pie and a 1/2 sheet of Roman Pizza. Both were fantastic. The dough was perfectly crisp and the sauce and toppings were perfect compliments. It rivals anything in NYC. The atmosphere was both welcoming and beautiful, creating a perfect scene to enjoy this great food. The staff was sweet, attentive and made us feel at home. I can't wait to visit again the next time I am in town.
The drive here was beautiful, way up near Mohonk Mountain. The atmosphere is really nice as you can choose between a table in their spacious restaurant indoors or a picnic style outdoors. The staff were super friendly and patient and free Seltzer is a big bonus for me. Also, the pizza was SO GOOD. We had the grandma style which was perfect for 2-3 people. The price was also great for this type of place.
Went here for a wedding welcome party and absolutely loved it. We were out on the patio area and the food station and bar set up with the wood tables and umbrellas for everyone to eat at. The beer and wine selection was great and the food was all delicious- especially the Naples style pizza.
Incredible pizza, staff, and drinks. Cocktails and beer/wine selection are top tier. Can’t beat Ollie’s. My son and I go here every Friday and couldn’t be happier to have it close by.
Pizza is my all time favorite food, and when I came for a visit to upstate NY my friends took me to Ollie's. I loved everything about it - the pizza was piping hot, the crust was perfectly crunchy and soft, the ingredients were high quality and fresh, and tasted amazing - especially the white pizza with the touch of sesame seeds, and the margarita. Best of all, I felt surprisingly great (and light) after eating it, rather than full and heavy. We sat outdoors in the beautiful garden, and it felt like one of those perfect summer evenings surrounded by great people in a beautifully and tastefully designed space, with a great ambience - a warm family vibe. The service was also excellent, with servers who were warm and friendly, and seemed that they genuinely love working there. During my week-long visit I ate there twice, and now that I'm back home I'm dreaming about eating there again!!
Most enjoyable pizza in state. I travel from NYC for this Pizza. Absolutely a cut above. Order the garlic knots, and the grandmas pie. You cannot go wrong.
Trendy spot that is very popular and for good reason! The waitstaff are stellar - outgoing, personable, and genuinely friendly, and the food is great. I especially enjoyed the meatballs appetizer and the nduja sausage pizza. Cute interior with a no fuss informal setting - paper plates and napkins. There is an outdoor seating area, too, consisting of picnic style benches with beach umbrellas for shade. A delightful spot after a mountain hike!
Ollie's is better than 99% of NYC's pizza options, easily besting Roberta's, Emily, Saraghina, Paulie Gee's & Rubirosa. The only thing in need of improvement is the tap water--it's not drinkable. Good thing their drinks are tasty and fun!
We had a pleasant afternoon. The pizza was delicious, my daughter loved it. The afternoon was beautiful, the sun and temperature made the experience at Ollie special. We were only there to try it out and we will definitely return. We recommended. The service was friendly, attentive and cleaning constantly. Once a table became available, someone was there to clean it.
The food was phenomenal. I'm hard pressed to admit it, but their meatballs are better than mine . The service was excellent. With Adriano in the kitchen you simply cannot miss. 10 out of 10. I will go here every single time I'm in the area.
We've been huge fans of Ollie's since moving to the Hudson Valley a couple years ago. The pizza is fantastic, and I'd personally have to recommend the grandma pie - guaranteed to be delicious with whatever your favorite toppings are. Also no Caesar salad has any business being THAT good! If you happen to visit in warm weather months, the outdoor seating area is awesome, but it's also perfectly cozy inside during the colder times of year. If you find yourself in the area, be sure to add it to your list. You won't regret it! This review was made in connection with a Toast promotion.
I live in Delaware and when I pass by Ollies, I always stop. Great pizza. Friendly servers too.
Loved the vegan pizza here! The crust was just right, and the sauce was on point as well. The staff was really welcoming, and they offer free seltzer! An excellent spot all around. Looking forward to trying the Grandma pie next time.
Great place to pop in after a hike for dinner! Short wait and excellent pizza, wings, salad, and beer selection. Was also surprised by the variety and quality of cocktails as well! Gluten-free pizza was the best we have ever had- great option for GF folks! We really enjoyed eating on the patio under the heater. Great job by the Ollie’s team
Came to Ollie's a couple days ago with some friends, and we could not stop talking about what a wonderful experience it was after we left. Everything was exceptional from the food to the service to the vibe. Thank you to our sweet server Mallory for taking such great care of us. If you're in the area, make a point to go, but also worth going far out of the way for.
What a great spot with a very happy team. Everyone was smiling and happy to be there. Everything was delicious. Space was great and classically curated with some vintage charm. Server was superb and kind with a hint of super friendly. Drove up from Poughkeepsie and we’ll be back in the spring for some outdoor seating.
As a customer of 3+ years, I cannot give Ollie’s enough praise. Whether I’m taking myself out on a date or meeting with loved ones, Ollie’s will always be my go-to spot for a solid meal with amazing service. Regardless of how busy it is, the staff is always friendly, accommodating and efficient. Delicious food, well crafted seasonal cocktails and NA bevs, and incredible vibes, Ollie’s is truly a staple of the Hudson Valley! Thank you for curating a beautiful space and consistently providing your customers with a solid experience. Menu highlights: Chicken caesar salad (the cutlet and house dressing are too good to be true), wood fired broccolini, hot honey wings, and grandma pie with pepperoni.. you won’t be disappointed!
Best pizza in NY! A must go if you are in the area.
I’ve had pizza all over New York and New Jersey, this is got to be one of the most delicious pizzas I’ve ever had in my life. Out of this world custom cocktails and craft beer selection. Completely unexpected to find this gem but if you are in the area, I highly recommend you stopping!
I think ollies is great. It’s an awesome place with an awesome vibe. The staff are very nice and the rotating specials are always delicious. You can’t go wrong with the staple menu, the pizzas have a nice crust and the toppings are always fresh. The tomato sauce is flavorful and nicely seasoned. This business attracts a lot of tourists and weekenders, so I recommend going during the week to avoid crowds, but they offer online ordering and the food is great “to go.”
Holy moly! I am relatively certain this is the best pizza within a 20 mi radius. Great Vibes at the restaurant too
■EXCELLENT VEGAN PIZZA!■ Thin crust. Deelish! Fresh. I like extra oregano plus crushed red peppers. Ollie's Salad is so good I can't try anything else. Has shredded jalapeños and olives. The dressing is vegan, too. Nice restaurant inside. Big bar in the center. Staff was helpful and were nice people. Plenty of outdoor seating, weather permitting. Parking lot looked big, then filled up quickly. I'll be back ... Helpful?👍
Can't say enough good things about this gem. The food is outstanding and the staff is top notch. I never hesitate to bring visitors here as I know not only will they love it but will always feel welcomed and taken care of. My go-tos are the broccolini, caesar salad with chicken, and the white pie with calabrian chilies. But you really cannot go wrong with anything on the menu honestly. Drinks are top notch and the wine selection is always on point. My self-proclaimed "pizza snob" colleagues in the city even rave about this place. To my fellow child-free reviewers: yes, there are children there. Yes, they run around outside. I suspect you did the same as a child. As with any restaurant, you should choose your dining time in accordance with the type of dining experience you want to have. Just my humble two cents :)
Wish I knew why last night was our first time trying Ollie’s, and now I’m mad I’ve wasted years of not having their pizza and drinks. The chicken caesar salad, I can’t even put into words how good it is. We got the white pizza last night it was very good. I want to try a new pizza every time we go. Highly recommend the salad! Ohh and the garlic knots!!
So many happy memories here! Best pizza in the Hudson valley - the white pizza with caramelized onions & sesame crust is the bomb. Come here frequently and the pizza (and salads!) never disappoint.
I recently visited Ollie’s Pizza in High Falls, NY after an amazing day exploring the Catskills with my fiancé, and I have to say, this place exceeded all my expectations! Hands down, the best pizza I’ve ever had in New York State crispy crust, fresh ingredients, and great flavor. I would honestly give it an 11/10! The service was also super friendly, and welcoming. I loved their drinks and food but the salad stole the show. I wanted to even take some home but they ran out by the end of the night. The hostess was so kind that she let me take home the dressing and breadcrumbs! Overall, I totally recommend this spot, can't wait to come back!
After our visit to Rail Explorers in the Catskills, we made the 30-minute drive to Ollie’s Pizza in High Falls, and it was absolutely worth it! We ordered the Caesar salad, white pie, and margarita pie, and everything was beyond delicious. This place is seriously underrated! I’d give it a 20/10 for both the food and the customer service. Hands down the best pizza in New York State! If you’re in the area, you definitely need to stop by Ollie’s—you won’t regret it.
I’ll go out on a limb and say this is some of the best pizza I’ve had. Up there with L’Industrie & the heavy hitters of NYC. Incredible stuff. I’m a cheese traditionalist, but even their specialty pizzas are incredible. 10/10. The Spicy ‘Nduja, Purple Rain & The Hot Bobby are our favorites!
We went here for the first time this past weekend. We weren't sure if we were in the mood for pizza or not and the staff knew that but still catered to us. We decided to stay and the pizza was delicious. One of the things i really liked was the sesame seeds on the pizza. We also tried their blue cheese dressing which was amazing! Our waitress was very good and made sure we had what we needed. They have very good pizza and I'd definitely recommend it.
Pizza here is amazing. Being raised in NYC made me somewhat of a pizza brat, but I can honestly say that the 2 pies my wife and I tried here were on the spot good. Maybe it's the wood fire burning oven they use, but you won't be disappointed. We got the High Falls Margherita and the Spicy 'Nduja Pie. Both very good. Also got a carrot cake. Not as much icing, but that's good if you don't want it overpoweringly sweet.
THE closest thing to real Brooklyn pizza in the area. Maybe my new favorite and take the spot of Paulie Gee's in Greenpoint.. maybe. Great pizza, great cider, great atmosphere and service. Plus they have gluten-free pizza that tastes (I sh!t you not) just as good, if not better than they're regular pizza. It is a must go.
Highly recommend Ollie’s! Have to say I feel pretty cool for getting to see this place in its opening days. We stopped by on the way back to NYC when we found Ollie's and saw a great, open, clean area to sit outside. Absolutely delicious pizza. Sauce and dough were both unique and classic with lowkey flavor pops across the board. The service was welcoming and made a hot summer day feel like home. Best pizza I’d had all summer with great and spacious atmosphere - super cool vibe inside too that we didn’t get the chance to fill absorb so we’ll definitely be back soon for some natural wine. We love you Ollie's!
Literally the best pizza I have ever had. Hands down. So excited that the Hudson Valley now has a pizza place this good! A true level-up for the region. Their wine, beer, cider selection is also local and fantastic. I would eat their grandma's pepperoni pie every day and never get sick of it. Additionally--I can't imagine it's easy to open a restaurant during a global pandemic, but the Ollie's family has got it so together. They have outdoor umbrella-shaded picnic tables (spaced 20+ ft apart👌) all tables and chairs are sanitized by friendly staff between each meal, and they text msg you when your order is up. Great job, Ollie's crew.
Some new restaurants are back firing VW's..some are Ferrari's. This Ferrari is a well run, obviously a cohesive team, with delicious pizza, meatballs, smooth " self service" as well as food and bev staff table delivery. A thoroughly thought through operation.
Ollie's is a great stop in High Falls. We've been in the area for over 10 years and this is my favorite pizza spot. But it's not your usual pizza spot. Set in a cool black barn, you can sit inside and enjoy a meal but when the weather is right, outside is where it's at. Picnic tables. Big yellow umbrella. Self-service water. Great beer and wine choices. The Ollie's salad is one of my favorites anywhere. Pizza is awesome - pepperoni cups! And negronis on tap...come on! If you're in the area, definitely worth a visit.
The pizza, wings, and ceaser salad were great but for a family friendly restaurant the music was vulgar. They played Frank Ocean Novacane and I was with my children. It felt uncomfortable and I would have preferred family friendly music, or instrumental music.
I would have given five stars but our pizza was somewhat charred with dark burned spots on the crust and the bottom. Maybe it was their specialty and I was no expert in pizza making. My husband did love it. The servers were all young and beautiful people.
Food is amazing, can get really busy service starts to leak oil. Once seated table or bar the food makes up for the wait & attitude might have felt for coming in on a overwhelming night. Like any other place that starts to become like the Hamptons, Montauk, williamsburg, BK or even Jersey City. City comes to the country places need to adapt. They definitely figured out the menu and ingredients. Love the food. Place looks great. Maybe firepit in the gravel patio with an outdoor pizza oven can help relieve the chaos in the nicer weather nights. Being from the city food quality will always out weigh the bitterness. Lol. Love the meatballs great pizza amazing Ollie's salad. Keep up the great work.
Yummy! Had the pizza and wings. Margarita pizza with pepperoni pizza was good! Huge basil leaf and a nice dollop of ricotta cheese. Wings were decent. Nothing to write home about. Got mild and honey. Ordered a salad which was a nice size and could be shared with a few people as an app. Good service and ambiance. Sat inside but have a really great patio with lots of seating and heat lamps. Would go again!
This place is not worth it for the price. The pizza was definitely not as outstanding as people are saying, and even though we ordered appetizers the pizzas came out first and the table ended up getting very crowded. Nothing was really worth finishing or getting again. The vibe is nice though, and I wouldn’t mind getting a glass of wine at the bar sometime.
We’ve enjoyed Ollie’s on many occasions, the food is amazing and the ambiance is fun. In more recent times, however, we have been met with rude, dismissive wait staff that was quick to blame us for what seemed like miscommunication at best. Unfortunately, it has been enough to color our love for the restaurant a bit. Hope they can take some time to train their staff on etiquette, but otherwise a fun experience.
I really want to rate this place highly but the service was just not it. The place is beautiful, inside and out but they are just not friendly. The staff was not helpful in telling us we needed to order inside so we just sat and waited outside for awhile. Once we realized we needed to order inside, the bartender was beyond rude, and nasty about the beer kicking and was annoyed it had to be refilled. We had a big party and had two tables outside, and when the food was brought to us, one of the servers didn’t even ask what we got, she just slammed down the food and walked away. So rude. I will say, only one lady was very nice and she was at checkout, and answered our questions when ordering. The food was really good but do not have high hopes for friendly staff.
Good food, high priced for the area, weird seating situation, bad service, and fake apologies if you express offense at the bad service. We ordered an onion pie, a grandma pie, a salad, and two drinks. With tip, we spent about $100. This is high for the area. You have to sign up for a table. There is a magazine-sized sign that is easily missed at the back entrance. There are no greeters and the person taking your order may not tell you the rules. If you don’t know the seating rules, but try to sit at a table, you will be told you cannot, but that you are welcome to sit on a bench. I suppose your pizza will be placed on the ground when you are served. The pizza is good, but there are a few good places in Hudson Valley. If you have a favorite local place, keep going there. Don’t bother with Ollies.
Moody waiting staff. Not so welcoming in a want to be hipster vibe. We got a cheese pizza and it was ok nothing special.
The food was good, but the atmosphere was a bit hostile and intolerant. Some of the staff seemed angry, disgruntled, and bothered when asked for assistance, while others appeared professional and polite.
Used to like coming here it’s quite literally a playground for unsupervised children now. Wanted to bring some friends here to enjoy pizza and the outdoors instead we were greeted with children hanging out at our table rocks being thrown and children screaming. They also brought our appetizers out after our pizza was half eaten and didn’t apologize. The last time I came here as well they forgot about my pizza. The people I was with ate their whole pizza before ours came out. We had to remind them. My final visit at Ollie’s which is sad because I once enjoyed coming here.
Very disappointing experience. The girl outside who took our order came over to our table and told my wife she couldn't have her own drink (which she brought for dietary restriction reasons).. Ok, no big deal.. So my wife put the can back in her mini cooler and off to the side. Then the girl said she had to bring the drink back to our vehicle because "she would still drink it"..My wife said, 'ok but I really wouldn't drink it' (and she absolutely wouldn't if that's their rules).. Thought that was over, then she doubled down and said that my wife would still disobey and drink her own soda. The girl basically told my wife she was a liar. Btw, if you knew my wife you'd see she's the most agreeable, non-confrontational person you'll ever meet.. So it was even more bizarre that this person would suggest she's lying. Absolutely the worst way to treat a customer if you want them to come back.. Which we will not be doing. Customer service is important. The gluten free pizza itself was so bready.. it was basically like eating breadsticks with a little cheese and sauce which you couldn't taste much as they were overwhelmed by the breading. Cannot recommend.
Went to the kingston location where they advertised NY style pizza. Staff was really great but pizza was really awful. It was sour, soggy and mushy. Not at all crispy as advertised. Couldn’t even eat it. And the grease, wow. Maybe NY style pizza, but not the NY in the USA. Shame as there aren’t any good pizza places in Kingston. At least not a “NY style crispy pizza”. The best pizza I ever ate up here was found at the Kingston farmers market by Hares hollow. Go figure!
