One of the best locations around. The managers here are top-notch and seem to truly care about their staff and locals.

As i sit here in the early hours of the morning, coffee in hand, i type these words. I am very happy with the quality of this Micky D's. What really got me to write this review, however, was definitely the friendliness of the employees here. The amount of respect and understanding they showed to my friends and myself was exuberant. One employee in particular had given me the energy to write this. His name is Ryan, or as I now like to call him, Big R. He is a very enthusiastic worker and friendly guy. The service was great and it's right off the Thruway at exit 18. The Thruway rest stop was so crowded we couldn't even get into the parking lot. This is a much better alternative.

I went in to get lunch and when I came out my truck quit as I was backing up. The battery appeared to be dead. After a few minutes an employee came out and offered to help me. We jump started the truck. I tried to tip him, but he refused the tip. I not only got lunch at Micky D's, I also got help from a very nice guy.

Friendly staff and a terrific 9 hole course in excellent shape. Challenging greens. My friend and I drove 3 hours to play two rounds. Worth it!

It's your ordinary McDonald's. I've given it 5 stars because this spot has never once messed up my orders and they hire kids and college students looking for work experience. The staff has always been really friendly too.

I've lived locally and eat here for years. A person who probably doesn't want to be recognized but should be is Alicia. She has worked here for over 20 years that I can remember. As a customer she has always worked hard to make it happen. As we all know McDonald's nation wide has gotten our orders wrong more times then we can count but at this location not only Alicia but the other team members have worked hard to correct thier mistakes. It's not McDonald's that makes this a go to place in New Paltz but the people. Sometimes I've encountered that one employee who was having a bad day but who doesn't experience bad days. For the few bad experiences I've had I will say this McDonald's has always worked on correcting issues that arise.

So usually I joke with my friends but never complain about how oddly anything I've ordered (particularlly like coffee or shake drinks) as of the lately. However, I want to give a shout out to an employee that made my drink this morning, her name is Lovelight. She made my drink exactly how I ordered it, made sure I received all I ordered, was very kind, and went above and beyond. Thank you Lovelight at this location for making this morning go much more smooth and easy before work!

We got stuck there for a couple hours due to a mechanic problem on our bus. Sierra and Abbey took REALLY good care of us! They were so kind, professional and generous. Could not thank them enough! Best McDonald’s experience in my life! That staff need a salary raise asap! They literally save our lives in the middle of the night.

It’s a newer McDonald’s. So far service and food were fine. Getting out of the parking lot can be an issue. Overall worth the stop if you like McDonald’s.

Ok - It is a McDonalds, and it has the standard fare that all McDonalds have, but it was done correctly . Normally I wouldn't write on a fast food place, but this one was bright, airy, and fresh. I pulled an all-nighter to watch a meteor shower, and the warmth of a mcgriddle has never tasted better at 7 am. while listening to the locals chat about whatever they were chatting about, it was a great way to "start" my day.

We brought a group of 50 people on a bus tour and made the McDonald’s in New Paltz our stop both ways for the weekend. We called ahead on the way down, and the staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and impressively fast. All 50 of us received our orders quickly and without a single mistake! On our way back, we gave them about an hour’s notice, and once again the service was fantastic. The team handled our large group with efficiency and a great attitude. The bathrooms were also very clean, which we truly appreciated! Thank you to the entire staff!

OMG! If you have never heard of, or enjoyed, a Big Mac(I know, silly name), you have GOT to come to this place and have one! Its a kind of hamburger meets club sandwich but there is NO ketchup, mayo or mustard on it. Instead there is this cray tasty 'special sauce' slathered all up in that thang. It could be Leprechaun spunk for all I know, but it is tasty as all get out!

Recently renovated McDonald's in a convenient location assuming you do not need to head east towards the Thruway once you have received your food. Cleaner than a lot of fast food restaurants, decent service time.

They've gotten a lot better recently, but this location frequently feels mismanaged. Get orders wrong more often than one would like and the wait times can feel excessive, even when there isn't a rush.

I love this Mikky D's, it clean, the staff are great, the food is well made and its all assembled quickly. The only reason I give it 4 stars and not 5 is because I ordered 4 McChickens today which I put in my fridge to eat after work ( was craving a mcchicken and i work until after they are open ) when i got home i opened my fridge, grabbed the bag and found not 4 mcchickens, but 3 mcdoubles. Sucked bc I paid $5.40 for 2 mcpicks, but it is my own fault for not checking my bag. I was almost about to drive back in and return the mcdoubles, but it was 7:00am and I could not find the receipt. Overall though, they are great and of the hundreds of times i have been there everything has been good. I almost feel bad giving the, 4 instead of 5 stars. I am being petty, but I paid for 4 and got 3 of what I didnt order. The Mcdoubles were delicious, btw. Still wish they were McChickens though..

Weirdly always a good experience. I say that because McDonald’s normally is subpar- I mean, it’s fast food. But the employees here always put on a smile and are helpful and fast. I’ve ordered a nugget meal and it has been ready by the time I reach that last window with no one else in line- and that’s pretty consistent. They’re also open 24hrs Friday and Saturday, which is awesome! Only 24 hour place in the whole town.

We were shorted one sandwich and the manager wouldn't give us a refund. We also got french fries instead of hatched browns. They didn't even mention it. overall very disappointed. My advice. Mc: communicate more with customers Customers: always check the bag before you leave because this is not my first time. It always happens! Update Dec 13, 2023 After contacting the store directly, I could get a missing item but I had another issue again. Had to wait for the food because they didn't get my mobile order. The manager came to help us solve the issue. The problem started from the drive thru staff. There was a guy blowing the leave outside too. So, maybe she couldn't understand us well.

It's McDonald's guys. What do you expect? Personally, I've had no bad experiences here. They are more expensive than the one in Newburgh for some reason.

Stopped here during a long road trip and was perfect for what it was. Pulled in, ordered, payed and got our food and went to the bathroom. Definitely a great place to stop if your going through. The fries were great, the cheeseburger was fine and the drinks were good. Service was nice and quick and will be visiting this golden arches if I'm in the area.

Well I mean, it's a McDonalds. Its just like every other one in some what of a decent town. Staff is friendly. Food is... McDonalds quality (take that as you will). Great to stop in for a quick snack. But what more do you expect for a review of a McDonald's.

Wed evening before 5:00pm .The place is quiet .7 people in the establishment .3 waiting for food which took forever. To top off the long wait the chicken tender wraps are cold.Not a great place to go if your in a hurry and have to be back at work by a certain time.Very slow!

Kind of annoying that when you order a half cut iced tea with extra ice and you get barely any ice and completely unsweetened iced tea. The burger was barely warm but, the fries were perfect and the drive thru was fast

this was a decent place. service was ok. the downside was their online app did not work out well here and the order took a very long time. about ten people ordered and received their orders before mine was even addressed. I had to be the one to go up and ask what was happened. the cashier did not check if there was an issue. the food itself was fine and typical of the chain but the hold up with the food made it not so fast for a "fast food restaurant".

I hate the drive thru here. You order, pay, then get to the window to wait a minute and be asked to move to a parking spot. What is it that requires so many to sit in the extra parking for the drive thru so often and so long? 10 minutes was my longest wait while others drove through... Don't understand something that is so homogenized and standardized being off in only this one location.

I went thru the drive thru, service was quick and friendly. My quarter pound burger was fresh but not well assembled. The cheese was half on the burger and half on the box.. not a big problem just had to reassemble it myself. Other than that it was good.

If you go inside to eat, they seem to get your order right but not at the drive-through. I can’t remember the last time I got everything I ordered. Especially at the one in the town of Oster by the entrance to the mall.

I’ve worked fast food/ customer service the majority of my life, so I try not to be a nag about my experiences with fast food. However, every time I go to this McDonalds there is an issue. They’ll give me the wrong food, if I go in the morning their opening crew isn’t there on time, and today after ordering breakfast before the cut off time on the mobile app when I got to the drive thru they informed me that there were no hash browns left (which was fine, and they were accommodating), but when I left and finally looked in the bag they didn’t give me my full order and I was missing my pancakes as well. If you’re going to stop preparing breakfast prior to your cut off time, please change your cut off time. Perhaps rotate your crew stationed at drive thru if they’re getting drained and can’t be attentive to what’s being handed out of the bag as well, from an old shift lead to another.

Every time i come here they mess up something about my order and i dont order much. They are slightly consistent on how the fast the food comes out. If it werent for that it would get one ⭐.

Asked staff to help with picking a dairy free item for a child with allergy, they proceeded to ask the manager who dismissively said “they can look up on the app or whatever, I will not do it now”. Same manager addressing a staff member at the register in a rude and condescending manner right in front of the customers.

Terrible prices, McChicken is $3 compared to every other McDonalds where it is $1. 4 nuggets cost $2.50 compared to $1 everywhere else. Also make you sit in a parking spot after the drive thru a majority of the time. The workers are very nice, just terrible management.

The staff is so damn rude and the service is horrible. We brought a group of people with special needs and we ordered for them as their counselors. Not only they mixed up our orders so badly but also they werent understanding at all, lots of fries that we had paid for were missing and they didnt even offer to give us a few extra for our participants. Plus, when I went there alone another time they acted very rude as well. I asked for a bit more milk in my coffee and ths lady almost threw the coffee at my face. There is 1 word to describe it: Disgusting. I went there, and there were flies everywhere. They didn't even care to take any attention to it. Imagine if it got in someone's burger or soda. I felt sick after eating there. Horrifying.

Ordered a meal payed extra for barbecue sauce and when my delivery came there was no straw and no sauce or napkins. This is a constant issue with this McDonald’s. As a McDonald’s manager myself I know how frustrated customers get when they don’t get everything they asked for.

Not the girl at the drive through staying completely silent and rolling her eyes as I’m being nice and saying thank you as she hands me my things and I over looked it at first & then when she hands me my second item I say “thank you have a good night” and she slams the window closed and walks away. Do better, the most disrespectful thing is when someone is nice and you’re utterly rude and disrespectful. Not my first time having a bad experience here with rude employees. Terrible service, manager acts like she hates her job. Food is never correct no matter what I ordered something is always wrong or missing. Just today I ordered a quarter pounder and it was like it was covered in salt, i didn't even know they seasoned their burgers. If you order anything more than fries and a drink the will tell you to pull up and they will bring it out to you. They only do this because they have to keep there drive-thru time down or there store will look bad. Not a good alternative in my eyes, just cheating the system. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

I'm only leaving this review because I would never return back to this establishment. Which is unfortunate because I know for a company so large, loosing 1 customer has zero impact or meaning to them. But anywhom...Once a week for the past 3 to 4 months I have ordered the exact same thing and every time I recieved my order it was wrong. It happened so often that me and the cashier would just laugh at how ridiculous it was. I was very understanding about it but after the 15th time it happened I decided to express my concern. Mainly because the most recent time before they added ingredients that go against my diet restrictions. So before I placed my order I told the women at the speaker my concern and let her know i was going to talk slowly and clearly and maybe we could all work together for a smooth process. The cashier did not appreciate that. She told me I did not need to speak slowly and I have to understand that it is not McDonalds fault that they mess up my order. She let me know that me sharing my concern is not necessary and proceeded to acknowledge that she knows they always mess up my order becsuse shes there when it happens. I felt that her response was very inappropriate and I just hope overall they work to improve the customer experience.
