Rock solid food and friendly service. We literally drive by this place every day and I keep telling my wife we need to try it this place. We finally did just that and went and grabbed an early dinner. I feel like there is no need to address what you most likely know about this place if you've driven by. It's an old-school place, no-frills decor and has a very home-like feel. Very clean and slightly dated this place really has a charm to it that says it's been here for awhile and it does what it does and it does it well. The menu has a diner feel but also feels more refined and expanded than the typical greasy spoon. They offer daily soups and specials along with the classics you'd come to expect from a staple like this place. The food is super fresh, well cooked and truly stays within the lines. I tried the philly cheese steak and chili verde soup and my wife got a patty melt. All the food was really delicious. The chili verde soup was really surprising and had huge chunks of savory pork in it. The philly was super solid with fresh beef and peppers and even the fries were great. My wife's patty melt was fantastic. The staff was friendly and helpful and kept the place clean and the vibe pretty relaxed. This place is obvioualy a staple in this area as it was the first place we were told to go eat at when we moved here. They do all you can eat specials on certain days and I'm sure they have a lot more to offer, but for our first visit it was great. If you want fresh, good size portions, fair prices and home made food. Check it out. If you like culinary tours throughout the world eating different cultures cusines and diving into the things we aren't used to here; probably not the place your looking for, but you'll still find something really good to eat here. We will return for sure.

Salty Sauce

Was a little shocked to see indoor seating during covid but happy to be able to sit inside. Not complaining. Although, during my time there, I noticed some kind of worker with a badge that took the manager to sit down and I overheard them talking about distancing so I'm assuming she was some kind of safety employee. My first time here so I ordered the signature pepper steak sandwich. The meat was good but I wish there was more cheese. Had to rally look for any signs of cheese. I asked as soon as she brought it out and she told me she would have to charge for more...but there was barely any on it. Whatever. Then my ketchup was out and of course the server is nowhere to be seen to ask for another. Then as I'm about to pay, the server goes over to clean a table that was dirty from before I even arrived. I noticed a lot of the tables were not cleaned. Seemed odd. I know they were short staffed but the tables are blocked off also. I actually really like the steak fries and the meat in the sandwich was good but the other things left kind of a bad taste in my mouth. I might have to try again for a better review its just that I'm hardly ever in this area. Will be awhile before I return. And then I'll have to be in the mood to focus on it again to change this review so...i guess that's why they say first impressions are so important. Oh well.

Last night 1-15-26, 6:50pm. I ordered a birria burrito. It was great. Other than that I got food poisoning from the burrito. A couple of weeks earlier I went to the restaurant to try their “ loaded fries “ with had carne asada meat. Same thing I got food poisoning. I came here about 4 times already and I had two great experiences. The atmosphere is fantastic and the food is great. But I got food poisoning twice.

The eggs tasted very strange and old and they admitted that the pancake mix was from the day before! I have honestly never heard of such at a restaurant! This is a health hazard and please don’t eat here, you might get sick!

I used to love going to this place, but our experience was completely unacceptable. The food was unpleasant, and we ended up having to throw most of it away. Unfortunately, some of us got food poisoning after eating there, which required us to visit urgent care. To make matters worse, the employees were cussing and arguing in front of customers, and some were even smoking. We also witnessed inappropriate activity, including sex workers trying to sell things inside the establishment. They had old dishes out that they hadn’t washed. We will be taking action and informing Better Business Bureau.

This place feels cozy amazing atmosphere. Breakfast is really good but quality has gone down. The taco hours 5pm -5am they used to the cooking outside, the city won't let them anymore so now they do the cooking inside. I GOT REALLY BAD the size of tacos are small now and the meat taste dry and the burrito barely have any meat. The server is overworked same for the cooks. The salsas are have amazing taste though.Over all the quality has gone down the have to keep clean bathroom too.

Well I came here to give it a chance. The egg Benedict were under cooked. The ham is old. And the potatoes were not cooked right. They were hard. Server brought me another plate of country potatoes and half of those potatoes were uncooked. (Hats potatoes). I will NOT be returning here again. Pro- place seems clean. Con- they don’t cook things correctly so the good is awful.
