Great food, was surprised with how quick my plate came out, and was fresh!

We are totally hooked on their fried chicken sandwitch and frues. We use the sandwich sauce on the fries too!

Love their chicken and the dirty rice is great.

So good! Food hot and fresh. Right now only Drive-In, which is understandable in this pandemic. When I got home, maybe a 15 drive, opened my boxes and there was literally steam coming off the food!! SO GOOD.

The whole team will have you feeling like Royalty. The food is ALWAYS fresh cooked. My favorite is the catfish fillets and the Chicken salad.

The Employee are Polite, Respectful, They always great me at the door! Handle my Ordering process in a timely fashion and speedy check Out! Keep up the Good Work!

The drive thru is open until 9PM but the dining area closes at 8:30PM. Being our first time here we didn’t know this and we arrived at 8:33 and the door was locked. As soon as we turned to leave a very nice lady must have seen the disappointment on our faces so she unlocked the door and invited us in. She along with all the other employees were super friendly and didn’t appear upset that we were there late. Staff were very pleasant. The restaurant was very clean, restrooms too. And the food was actually fresh and delicious. I can assure you that our family will continue to dine here. Good food, clean, and friendly. What else could you ask for?

Always excellent service and food. The catfish and shrimp are delicious and as good as any seafood restaurant. Chicken tenders are also delicious. Free Ice Cream!

Thank you for allowing me to walk up to window to get my large order, so I could feed crew working on my fences. Had to deliver couple loads that day but still wanted to feed the crew, they thought they were eating like kings. Fries are always hot, and ladies are so friendly, much better location than one in Italy, TX.

I have never been a big Golden Chick fan until I moved to Hillsboro, I have never ordered when their food wasn't fresh, and the employees are always very friendly. Much better than other chicken places here.

The best chicken and rolls! Resturant looked clean and employees friendly. The town it is located in isn't great and i was staring out the window at a run down creepy house right next door.

Employees are wonderful!!! So very kind and always smiling and ready and eager to help the customers, been a long time since I was in a place where the employees really enjoyed their job and really made their customers feel welcome. Food was pretty good. Catfish was a little to greasy but it was good. Very clean as well.

The restaurant was clean and the food was fresh. Only issue is my order was wrong. The icecream cones need to be tossed. The one we was given was old.

We usually use the drive through, orders are taken and receive in a timely manner. Order are not always perfect but fixed when there is an issue. Food is usually cooked correct.

There was no one in the front when we walked in, but that's probably because we went during a slow hour, there was no one else in the lobby. The drive thru is the main focus, but our tenders were warm and our order was accurate.

90% of the time the workers are great and get the job done but today they said I couldn’t get two extra rolls with no explanation.

Food was freshly cooked and staff was very friendly. The chicken was very good but I would have preferred it to have a little more seasoning. Even so, I would definitely go there again.

Go occasionally and it's a bit or miss. Sometimes service is good and food is fresh other times its service is mid and you can tell food sat for a while before given. Overall still go for quality chicken

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit there. In a town full of Mexican restaurants we were delighted with a change of venue or menus I guess you could say. The shrimp was good the chicken was awesome and the fish was ok, but I must say I am used to to cooking catfish for myself so the bar was high for golden chicks fish. If any improvements were needed it was outside the restaurant. Not much parking and rough driveway.

Stopped here while driving around Hillsboro. Saw options for sea food and ordered the combo with shrimp and fried fish. Food was fresh and served super hot ! Clean and spacious seating, friendly staff. Wish they improve on time taken for dine-in orders.

Didn't have enough chicken to fill order and substituted other pieces. When asked to give a different substitute wouldn't do it. Would not have cost anymore to fill order. Didn't care if customer was happy. Buy it or leave attitude.

Quick, fast, friendly but expensive. I ordered the family meal with legs and thighs. It came with 2 family sides but no rolls. So after adding on the rolls I was shocked how expensive an all dark meat meal cost. It's really good chicken but for that price I could have fed a larger family eating at the other chicken restaurant in town. It was hot, fresh and good but I don't think it was worth what I paid. One star for no rolls included on the meal and the other star for too pricey.

Golden Chick as a rule are generally a higher than average good quality and moderately priced restaurant. This one, however, was just a little short. My choice this time was the Fish Plate. It was pretty much on the over cooked side or had been under the heat lamp a bit to long. Over all a pleasant and clean store, butt fell a little short of my expectations this time.

Didn't have what they offered on the menu. I tried 3 different things and didn't have any of them. Got okra and a sweet tea (tasted like a metal can ) okra was good.

Usually I'm pretty happy with this place but today I got pretty frustrated. We put in our order and asked for extra ranch like I always do. The girl wasn't paying attention and just had us check out. When my boyfriend went to get our food there was no extra ranch. Then began to tell us we would have to make a separate transaction for some ranch, when we ask for it on the first transaction. My boyfriend handed her his card and she said he couldn't pay with it. And just walked away without saying anything. We go here atleast once a week because I prefer it over Chicken Express. It's pretty frustrating when you ask for something the first time and don't get it.

Depends on who is cooking will know if it's good. Half the time they don't put the full order in.

Chicken strips are really good. Real chicken breasts used. Counter service was awful. Their main goal is to take your money & make you wait. So if you arrive & there are 4 cars in the drive thru stay there. Even with no one standing at the counter those 4 cars got faster service.

Rancho out of thighs and seems very poorly ran golden chick. I asked for additional leg for the inconvenience and only got 1 small wing

was not the best at all. ordered told me online order is ready about 3:14. got there, and waited 15 extra minutes. got my food, was missing 4 rolls out of 8. and tried to give me a whole jalapeño instead of 4 jalapeño poppers. also ordered 24 lemon pepper wings. had no lemon pepper seasoning or taste on it. was not the best idea to spend Spend 30$ for that. I went to Golden Chick today to pick up a meal for my auntie I asked for fresh Chicken because the last time it was old so I didn't mind waiting the lady said it will be 20 minutes it took at least 30 minutes or more some of the cashier's are rude don't know how to say thank you and they got mad because I asked for fresh food first of all I'm paying my money and I don't want nothing old this will be the last time going there I will go somewhere else to get my auntie something to eat from now on.

Ive always Loved Golden Chick, Great Chicken and Great flavor, however these last few dozen of times I've gone it's started to be different. The Fries have completely changed and are soggy and have none of the flavor or crispiness they used to have. And The side portions are significantly smaller. And The pathetic amount of Gravy provided with the tenders is laughably small. The Chicken is still good but you're not provided enough gravy to dip it in.

Waited 15 min to get my order and only one person ahead of me. Then the order was wrong the breast was supposed to be fried but got grilled instead and it was dry and over cooked. The drive through window and surrounding areas looked very dirty. Much better chicken at the express place down the street

They use styrofoam plates and drink cups. The jalapenos taste old and aren't hot. It's as if they've gotten the mild version. The catfish is okay, not worth going out of your way for. They do have malt vinegar packets. The ketchup and hot sauce is as cheap as you can buy. The fountain drink is okay. The yeast roll tasted funny. I just couldn't finish my plate because of how oddly funny tasting this whole meal was... The only reason I ate was because I was extremely hungry. I was so hungry that the flies that landed on my food didn't concern me! The food was extremely hot when I received it...but the funny tastes really put me off. It's as if they added tons of sugar to the meal. The French fries, catfish, and yeast roll tasted overtly sweet and disgusting. Unless I'm extremely hungry, I'll most likely not come back here again.

Horrible customer service and long wait times. I waited 32 min for 1 meal. Then she cussed at me when giving me the food when i asked why it took sooo long!

I didn't go to the restaurant so can't comment on that but the food that I had delivered was probably the worst I have ever had.

staff was rude and to preocuppied with being ganster. Manager on site was rude and disrespectfull. not sure who owns it but i would be embarrassed. will never see any of my money or be recomended.

Ordered my food and waited about 15 minutes to get to the window and the guy tell me they don’t have the one piece I order... what kind of mess is this and then asked if I wanted to wait 10min for the piece I wanted... POOR customer services

Waited 35 minutes for a 10 piece meal. Chicken was under cooked. New Fish Sandwich was not very good a strong Vinegar flavor.

Ordered 15 pc fam meal. I was told they only had 11 pcs fried but I could take 4 pcs roasted. OK. I get home (11 miles away) & what I was given is no where near what I paid for. Called & spoke with mgr. Cindy. She took my order & remembered me. Now she said she told me they only had 4 pcs fried. We argued & I was told to make the 22 mile RT to return food & get money back. We will never do business with them again!!

The place was clean and the staff was okay but started reading the menu off to me when I was apparently taking too long to choose, we were literally the only customers they had, that was irritating, lol, but not bad review worthy except the food was horrible, the coleslaw tasted sour, I got the chicken tenders with half regular and half spicy, the spicy ones were regular until they drowned them with a spicy mix of something that was sprinkled on, I'd never seen that done and it was terrible, the tenders were soggy too, ugh, tbh the rolls were amazing and my boyfriends catfish was very good but I'll never go back to that particular one... I've ate at other GC's that were very good just not this one.

Coleslaw was really bad and old tasting and chicken wasn't that good. They didn't give us rolls. The girls working was unfriendly.i will never go back. Made us sick to stomack.

Fish was horrible breading and old grease couldn't even see the fish didn't try chicken don't think I ever will. Change the grease it's extremely bad and no you can't make it up to me.

The older workers are super nice make the food good every time their there but the younger workers lazy at there job.The manager was trying to tell them to make sure and check all our food was in there (which it was not) the younger worker barely looked in the bag and had attitude I feel bad for the manager who is just trying to do her job right and the very capable lazy younger girl just gets paid for nothing I think they need all old workers (I’m 21 )but young adults suck in the food industry get an easier job like taking the trash out or cleaning the bathrooms.

Never in my 60+ years have I heard of hot chicken salad. I knew the buns were warm, so I ordered it cold. After waiting 8 minutes at the window I got a hot sandwich. When I asked, I was told they had no cold buns. Are the buns delivered hot? I just got a refund and left. Over 10 minutes wasted that I can't get back.

They were kinda rude to me from the beginning. I tried to ask if they could break a 100 if I get the family pack. She interrupted me mid sentence and said "Yes, what can I get for you?" I got home with my food and all I could see for gravy was the little hockey puck sized container. I got a little upset because it seemed to me that someone purposely gave me the small gravy with a 25 piece. I went back up there and the lady told me it was in the box with the chicken. I looked and there it was... buried under the chicken where I couldn't see it. Still I felt a little bad about asking her if this was all the "D word" gravy I'm supposed to get with a family pack, because I usually get the big one. So I called up there to apologize for getting upset and the lady wouldn't even let me finish my sentence before she interrupted me.

Check your orders closely. Wasted entire lunch break because they cheated me half my order. Went back for a refund, got no receipt of refund. Stated that I would get an email of refund. That didn’t happen and no refund either. Won’t be back.

One star because Google makes me pick at least one. However I would have chosen zero if possible!! I have never been to a place where a manger would allow a worker to talk so rude and with such disrespect to a paying customer nor will I be back. One of the number one things I look for in a place is good customer service and one employee can ruin it for everyone. Asked for a refund which was given with no kind of apology. Never again!!!! That's not the way to keep paying customers coming back or to keep a business up and running.

My question is how are yall still open? I should've drove further. Doesn't matter the size of tenders It's a count. Side's come with fee's. Same order, somewhere else would have been much Bigger. 🙄 $20. Doesn't get much. Pickled jalapenos, they make sure to let you know, packing with juices. 👍🏽

The lady behind the counter is beyond rude. We Ordered the mixer family meal and a 2 piece combo. Was quoted 15 min. I am assuming our order was forgotten about because after 25 minutes when I asked the manager where my food was, her only reply was 10 more minutes. She could Not care less about customer service. 10 minutes later I asked if they gave our chicken out through the drive-through As I had watched a dozen cars pull up and drive off while we were stuck waiting. All she kept saying is 10 more minutes. Avoid this place unless you have all day to wait. And trust me when I say the chicken is darn sure NOT worth this kind of wait. Need to Add to this post that at the 30 minute mark she just offered my money back she had zero intentions of selling the chicken
