From the moment we walked into The Brass Tap in Hollister, we knew we were in for a treat. The warm and gracious greeting from Mr. Nader Javid, the owner, set the tone for what would be a truly exceptional dining experience. His hospitality immediately made us feel at home and added a personal touch that is rare to find. The decor of the restaurant is stunning—modern yet cozy, with a welcoming ambiance that invites you to relax and enjoy. Every detail has been thoughtfully designed, creating the perfect atmosphere for both casual outings and special occasions. The service was impeccable from start to finish. The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, ensuring that our needs were met without ever feeling rushed. As for the food, it was absolutely outstanding. The soft pretzels were perfectly baked, served warm, and paired with delicious dipping sauces. The wings were a highlight—crispy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. And the pizzas? Simply divine, with fresh ingredients and a crust that strikes the perfect balance between crispy and chewy. The Brass Tap is truly a gem in Hollister. The Brass Tap Cheesesteak is amazing and HUGE, a good deal At $15 comes with crunchy crinkle cut fries ketchup and a ranch. I also had the Golden State Mighty Dry Cider $10. Delicious all around, pleasant server and atmosphere. I wish a fork had been served with the meal, since the huge sandwich came with a steak knife as welll…Other than that great place for lunch/dinner and detailed beer:draft menu. Lots of options. My other faves ate ALL the pizzas. Tip these servers well even if u just drink!!:):) Edit: Upon review of my receipt, the price charged for my meal was $17.50, i will glow up as I believe the “Fall 2025” bar menu said $15!!

I was traveling and stopped in Hollister for the night, placed an order by phone and picked it up in person. The hotel recommended this location. The pricing was reasonable and my order was ready as promised. Steak sandwich was solid and you can't go wrong with tater tots. Had I sat down for dinner there, I would've asked for more onion and some greens. The portion was generous, tasty and cooked medium rare like I requested. Ordered the lemon pepper chicken wings and garlic fries for my wife and she was quite content. Staff was friendly and moved quickly to call me by name even though I hadn't given indicators I was the phone order. I'll be back when visiting the area.

Just came for the craft beer and they have an amazing selection. It's in a strip mall that appears under construction but once you get inside it's fine. Low key and laid back. Bartender was great. I'll be back and try their food menu.

Me and my friend had Porsche as our server and she was very personable and funny! We had there beetle juice margarita and it was fireeeee . The wings and fries were great and we came on Halloween night so we met Felipe and took pictures which was super fun . Very enjoyable staff will be coming back in the future !

Everything was great! Big portions, excellent service. We went for lunch on a Saturday, and it wasn’t too busy. So many different people came to make sure we were doing ok. Would definitely go back to try something new!

1. The pizza was delicious with crispy edges and a generous topping of pepperoni and fresh basil. 2. Fish and Chips: crispy fish fillets that look perfectly fried with crinkle-cut fries paired with coleslaw, ketchup and a creamy dipping sauce. 3. Chicken burger is beautifully presented with a shiny, toasted bun and fresh toppings, including lettuce, tomato, and pickles. The melted cheese and juicy patty make it incredibly appetizing. Tip: Order the poblano sauce for added spicy flavor.

Went to the brass tap for the first time the other night great food great service. We had a really sweet server. Her name was Sav, she was really helpful in making our dining experience positive and enjoyable.

So awesome to have something like this in Hollister! Big menu with a lot of variety, big building with lots of seating, a full bar, and reasonable prices. I frequent Brass Tap for the food, but it also offers much needed variety in the Hollister Bars and Night Life department. Regardleas, you are only carded for alcohol, anyone can eat there. Go check them out! Bonus points if you go at lunch, they have lunch specials at much cheaper prices and they could use more people at those hours. It's packed at night so plan accordingly!

Service is good but sometimes they get really busy, but they always do their best. Give it a try for lunch or dinner.

The chicken sandwich was very good. The chicken was moist with a crispy coating. It had a nice amount of spice and tasty sauce. It came with onion rings which were fantastic!

Great place, good food. we had lunch chicken Cesar Salad and wings. The wigs were crispy and juicy, my salad was crispy and the right amount. Great place for afternoon the game or watch a game.

We got food for pickup. I ordered Korean BBQ Nachos. When I opened the box, this is what I saw. No BBQ and NO CHEESE! It's Nachos! How can you not put cheese? There was no sauce on the side either. Very disappointing and not worth $18. It's just chips, onion and jalapeño with meat on the side.

Atmosphere is great but the food is very bland. Not much flavor , ordered some stake tacos and it was 2 tacos with like 10-14 tostada chips and a bland little salsa dip. las micheladas restaurant has more flavorful food but atmosphere was nice . FOOD WAS NOT TASTY :(

I called the restaurant after I delt with door dash for receiving an incomplete order. I wanted to let the establishment know that whoever is checking food orders is not doing a good job. The door dasher came back to pick up my missing nachos and left them at my door with out any communication. The following morning I opened my front door to ants eating the nachos. I opened the food container and after all this chaos the order was still wrong!!!! I ordered pulled pork nachos and all it was, was chips and queso dip!! This is not the first time I have received the wrong order from this restaurant!

(VIDEO) we get up and te the blonde lady and show her, silent. So we went to the bathroom to shake off our clothes. We come out of the bathroom and crickets. So we left and di not get to try the food. A little customer care goes a long way. Bad management and customer service will be the end of your restaurant. I hope you can help that. With all that said, We shall not be returning, sir! Lol
