Ordered breakfast for myself via Jack's app, friendly greetings upon arrival, food was quickly prepared hot and fresh as usual at the Sheffield location. Like to use the app to earn points to use towards various rewards and occasionally offers deals/coupons/discounts towards food. We continue to be a loyal Jack's customer and would recommend to anyone looking for good southern fast food in a laid back southern environment with decent, affordable prices with the option of using the app for additional deals and rewards 👍👍

Atmosphere was super fantastic, Easter decorations and a piñata! Food was great! Front counter forgetfulness was high as the new expeditor could not read a ticket.

Jack's is a fast food place with seating inside that is better than most places like it. Other reviews indicate slow service and that was an experience I had for breakfast. They had a long line for the drive through, many Uber orders plus a line inside the restaurant. Do not know if staffing was an issue but things didoce.slowly. Had dinner on another evening and service was quick, of course it was not crowded. The food we had was good to very good. Breakfast has decent eggs, and gravy, sausage and grits were aver. The chicken, green beans and mashed potatoes for dinner are very good. Overall good experience and would return.

The service was great. The counter staff was courteous and helpful. And patient. The chicken sandwich was very good. Not greasy. Crispy chicken. Good amount of pickles. I thought the fries were just OK. Too much potato for the outer area. Not crispy enough. The condiments were nicely laid out. There was no Coke Zero, my favorite drink. I think Diet Coke is chemical nasty.

I go to this location a lot. The screw up the order. In the last 2 months. I've been there about 15 times. 6 times they messed the order up, or forgot to give me something. Getting old very fast. Hopefully they can improve.

Sat in a short but slow drive through line to order a chicken sandwich, asked if there was any sauce on it, they said no and asked if I wanted mayo or something. I said yes. I also asked for some ketchup for my fries to go in the bag. I pay, they don't offer or give me a receipt. I get 10 mins down the road and go to grab my straw from.the bag to take a sip of my drink. I see there's no ketchup in the bag. I pullover and check the sandwich, there's no mayo on it either. I don't have the receipt to see if my order even got punched in right. My only assumption is that they focus on speed and count on people not having to spend an extra 15-30 minutes of their lunch break coming back to get what their order should have had on it.

This restaurant is across from the Bessemer Civic Center. At 2:00 pm. We arrived for a quick bite. One lady in line ahead of us, which is fine. The problem is one person at front to wait in customers. She was more interested in counting the cash box than taking our orders. She tells someone in the office close by, yes. there are customers but I told them I would be with them shortly. Yes. But why count the cash box in front of customers, in the first place? Just asking to be robbed. I thought Jack's appreciated their customers?? This is second time in a month, though different restaurants, I have had to wait to give my order. Jack's, you are losing your touch of quick service. Needless, to say, I left this restaurant in Bessemer without buying lunch. Oh, an added note, may have had one other customer besides the lady waiting in line ahead of me. This place is easy access to Bessemer Civic Center, it should have been busier than it was. The atmosphere was dim and dingy. Left without ordering, so no comment in the food. I will not be returning to this restaurant. We drove on down the road shortly to a Sonic. Was greeted quickly and had a delicious lunch. Jack's you are losing your touch. You may be "All about the South" but you are not all about your customers!

Love jacks and I eat there often not often am I up for breakfast tho ! But this morning I wanted a good breakfast ! No line which was great the hashbrowns were over cooked. Ate maybe 3 of them and the biscuit was uncooked. Worse breakfast I’ve probably ever had. Upsetting.

I went in there to pick up as an Uber order an they didn't have it ready an said they didn't even have it well they did just someone cleared the order of there screen not paying attention, so once they figured it out instead of making the order they just slow poke around an talking laughing with each other not a care in the world that they have line backing up out side an when u do Uber eats or door dash you have time limits to get them done by an I ended up having to cancel the order because I had other orders waiting on me I couldn't wait any longer an they had no care at all. Every time we come in there it's always something they are always rude never polite at all.

Came to this location to try to cinnamon rolls that being advertised, I should have looked at the cinnamon roll before I left the restaurant. The cinnamon roll is not a cinnamon roll it's a jumbo dinner roll, no icing just dry, it's false advertising do not buy

We bought breakfast there this morning in the drive thru and when we got home I bit into my sausage biscuit into a black hair. I then pulled it out and it was a never ending black hair with a knot in it about 12” long. I was disgusted and couldn’t even begin to think about eating that biscuit. We eat there frequently and have never issues but this is inexcusable and shouldn’t happen if the cooks are wearing proper hair nets.
