What a great place to eat. Service is wonderful and relaxed. This is not a place to get in a hurry. The atmosphere is great and they have an excellent staff. I have been here a few times and it is always great. I can’t wait to go back. Prices are fair and the portion sizes are pretty good. I recommend this place to everyone that I talk too. The Mojarra rancheros is absolutely great and the molcajete Mediterráneo is very flavorful. If you have sometime on your hands and you want some Mexican seafood then head on over and try it out.

Delicious sea food , (yes Mexican also eat sea food , because their country has East and West coast, from the East famous places are Veracruz and in the West Acapulco) therefore also they have great dishes , in the menu have white fish, red snapper, shrimp, oysters, octopus, etc. Only a side note Latin American cook the whole fish including the head if you don't want to see the fish head ask for fish fillet. They have a bar , they feature a Huge Crazy Margarita and different cocktail. Thursday is karaoke night, mostly in Spanish but you can require any song and the DJ will find it for you.

Don’t order the steak 😂 it is as thin a construction paper but as expensive as all can be. Karaoke was awesome though.

The food was great! Service is usually good depends on who your waiter/waitress is! Please be forewarned that some NOT ALL waiters add a gratuity to your check!

Delicious Mexican style seafood with live music and international beer. A bit pricey but understandable because it is a seafood restaurant. The only downside from our visit is that the waiter added a 15% tip in advance to the check without telling us (we were not a big group) and then when I was going to pay he presented a screen in the card terminal asking again for tip.

I visited La Perla Nayarita for lunch. Very authentic and caters to their authenticity. The wait to be seated was very short. They weren't busy at all. Service was good. My waitress, though she didn't tell me her name, was very attentive. I ordered steak fajitas. It was good. Less onions and more peppers would have made it great. Would I go back? Sure! Would love to try a margarita.

READ TO THE END Staff was great, Milton even made suggestions. I chose the Molcajete Pacifico. It was pretty authentic, I was being cautious with the spice, but I ended up asking for more spice and a bit of lemon. I was pleased to find such good Mexican food in Birmingham. I realize the manager was sitting next to me, so I commented on her that I gave her a great review on Google. I asked my server to give me my tab. She stood up and proceeded to cash me out. When it came time to sign, I questioned why it was more than the original receipt. She explained it was the taxes, that’s when I noticed she added a 15% automatic gratuity. Really for a party of one? Not cool! Notice on the pictures, they still left room for me to add another tip. I then heard her tell somebody that I noticed, yes, I understand Spanish…..

The food is good, by the waitress charge mi 15% on the bill for tip. I leave again on the table a tip $60,00 cash. my bill: $ 215.96 Grat 15% 32.39. Tax 34.56 Tip $ 60.00 TOTAL. $342.91 roop off for the waitress. This bill is only for 3 people ( no alcohol ) PD: We left the place very happy until we went home. And I see the credit card receipt , I was pretty upset ,(the food and the place is great). No complaints

ZERO STARS!! 2 people for lunch spending $76 with no alcohol. They add in tip without telling you. They are not honest people they suppose to tell you or even show you the ticket.

Wish could leave a negative one star, I placed my song for karaoke they skipped me multiple times there service for me was slow my quesadilla was cold and and steak was too thin plus it was pricey i never want to comeback every again

****** Be aware and double check you're receipt..Well,here we go again.For a party of 2 people I don't think it's good for business for the waiter to automatically add 15% to the ticket without the customers consent.Just my two cents.. I mean food was delicious and ser was great until our waiter took it upon himself and just add the 15% No bueno.... Necesitan que cambiar los asientos de los booths,me sente y puro pinche resorte y alambre,no se diga que casì me voy por dentro del asiento.
