Very delicious and authentic! Kind servers too. If you’re in the area, you need to eat here, you will not regret it!
El Maná greatly exceeded our expectations. We were starving after doing some shopping in the area and decided to check this place out. Everyone was nice. Food is very reasonable. My boyfriend got the tacos de asada which he said was very good! The torta de al pastor had piña inside and was so flavorful. Highly recommend:)
I hardly ever leave reviews but I have to share how spectacular this restaurant is. Enchiladas, rice, salsa, horchata, michelada… everything I was served was absolutely delicious! Food was hot and fresh! My new favorite spot!
Me and my dad came here for the first time for lunch! Chicken quesadillas are delicious. Very kind staff 😊 felt just like home. Portions are generous and everything was steaming HOT!!! I’ll definitely be back. This just might be my new go to Mexican spot. Super close to home too!!
Very small, family restaurant. The food was excellent and the service friendly.
Food was delicious and the portion size was perfect. Everyone was really nice and took good care of us.
Great food Great service. Been coming here for some time now and they always have great flavor.
Delicious food, especially the asada and pastor
Delicious food. Highly recommend the shrimp ceviche and the enchiladas suizas 🤤
Delicious Mexican food! A small restaurant with a warm atmosphere, and nice stuff serving us. The food price is definitely the best in Chicago. Well located close to the airport and with planning parking spaces. I came back with my sister for lunch during all of our 3 days studying in Chicago.
I flew in from Los Angeles for a music festival, and the food there was both overpriced and disappointing—especially the so-called “Mexican food,” which was nothing like the real thing. I found this place by chance because I was starving and it’s close to my hotel. Wow, I’m so glad I did! Even though I arrived right at closing time, I was warmly welcomed, seated, and ordered the bistec a la mexicana. It was absolutely delicious. My only regrets are that I didn’t find this spot sooner and that I didn’t take a picture of my food before devouring it! If I’m ever back in town, I’ll definitely be returning!
We hired them to cater for our event at the office here in Downers Grove and everything was simply top notch! Meat tender, salsa fresh, guacamole definitely one of the best in the long time, sauces full flavor and server very friendly and accommodating. I am very picky when it comes to my food and this one definitely hit the spot!
Camarones a la Diablo were a hit!! Rather than serving mini shrimp, they had jumbo shrimp !! 10/10 Al pastor tacos were firee!! Beer was only 4$!!l Must go
If you want some authentic Mexican foodl and in the area. This is the place to go! Very accommodating and overall nice people. Tried grilled cactus for first time. I will be going back! Portion sizes were perfect
This place is amazing, always!!!! Everything they have is fresh and absolutely delicious. Their guacamole is amazing, along with the tacos, burritos, nachos con carne, PUPUSAS and especially the HORCHATA!! Love the sopes and gorditas as well. Always hits the spot and has me coming back for more!!! Thank you el mana!!!!
Their food is good altogether and Mr. Abel and Mrs. Guadalupe were very friendly and nice to me last week I visited. We tried the Tampiqueña dish and it was delicious! Thank you.
This place has great food! The steak tacos are bomb, also they have stepped up there game by putting some seafood in the mix haven’t tried it yet but looks yummy!
Friends of ours used El Mana for a high school graduation party, it was so good we used them. The staff comes ready with a flat top grill and all the sides for tacos. Beef, Chicken, Al Pastor, pico de gallo, guacamole, rice, beans. Amazing. Our party was in Arlington Heights IL and they made the trip. Worth it for a catering event
I just order 3 lengua tacos thats tongue cow tongue , very good and good food portions, also order steak torta it was ok ,the taist was missing something .also the sauce u get,red and green the green sauce was delicious. Dint care to much for the red.some people might like it but i dont need more attention or i cought them in i bad time dosent matter not every restaurant has a good sauce red or green hit or miss.
I like it. I realize I am gringa but I teach ESL and have been teaching it at Triton for many years. My students always bring food to share and I'd say I'm pretty good at knowing what's decent Mexican food. I love their pozole. As far as pupusas, yes, there was a person who owned the place before (Guanachapin) and she also brought tamales (Guatemalan?) but this is a Mexican place now. The fact that the owner took the time and answered the woman who complained, took her opinion in consideration says a lot for them. That they care. Keep it up, guys!
The food used to be better the flautas were bigger and better tasting the alpastor tasted like curi or some weird seasoning that marinated alpastor shouldn't have but everyone marinates their food differently. The rest of the food is decent but pricey but what isn't now adays. The Mexican refreshment drinks are very good 👍 the lady is a bit rude and cranky the guys are cool the seafood is good 👍
Bad, bad, bad.... for one they have a website with specials of everyday of the week, that they won't honor, claiming that is old, but they haven't updated it. Two they have outside patio, but their tables are dusty and they don't bother to wipe it down when a customer sit at the table, and three the food is not really good have their barbacoa tacos before and seem that they change recepies complete different they were horrible, the best they have is the pupusas.
The food is bad poor service I don't recommend this place to no body.
AVOID... Gone down hill. I usually order as a guide of how places make their food. 6 steak tacos, meat and cheese only. What I got was dry meat probably left on the grill way too long, no taste, hardly any cheese. 30 dollars for bland, dry, crunchy meat covered in a smattering of cheese. This place used to be great before the pandemic, now it's just bland food,
