Recently hosted my son’s birthday party here and the service was above and beyond. Hailey helped coordinate everything beautifully and was easy to work with and great at making suggestions that made the experience easier. During the party staff was friendly and helpful. Kat and Jessica were attentive and made the whole buffet run smoothly. Thank you to the staff for making the party a hit!
Just in town for a couple hour layover on business. The decision was Italian and Moretti’s had great reviews. We got here at the beginning of lunch hour and loved the inside. It’s warm, friendly and an upscale bar and grille type but definitely leans towards the upscale side. Gabby L was our server and she was exceptional! 🌟 Very outgoing, friendly and helpful the whole time. She recommended the chicken Parmesan but with the linguine and lemon sauce. WOW 🤯 It was amazing! Cooked perfectly and the chicken was moist. That lemon sauce was phenomenal. Perfection combination with the linguine. I’ll have to come back when in town again!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Moretti’s Ristorante & Pizzeria – Chicago, IL (Near O’Hare) Disclaimer: This is my personal experience. If something isn’t right, I always recommend giving the staff a chance to make it right. Most places will. That said, this visit was a hit. I had both the deep dish and the thin crust, and both were excellent in their own way. The deep dish had a thick, crispy edge and a soft, doughy center, loaded with sauce and toppings. The tomato sauce was rich, not too sweet, and the cheese and sausage combo made it feel like a true Chicago classic. You could taste the quality in every bite. The thin crust was just as impressive. Crispy all the way through, but still had a little chew. Ours came loaded with sausage and jalapeños, and it was full of flavor. No grease puddles, no floppy slices — just a solid, crave-worthy pizza. Service was fast and friendly. The place had a good vibe, clean dining area, and plenty of space to relax. Food came out hot and fresh. If you're flying in or out of O’Hare and want great pizza, this spot is worth the short detour.
Amazing portions and fresh good food! I would make this my favorite rosemont local place anytime. Staff were very nice too. Free open parking.
In town for soccer tournament and wanted some deep dish pizza. This place was close to hotel and did not disappoint!! Staff friendly and attentive service. Cheesy bread and deep dish pizza was filling a delicious!
Wow, there are so many excellent pizza restaurants in Chicago but Moretti’s is among the best. The rest of the food is really good but don’t miss out on the pizza!
From the moment this house favourite pizza hit the table, it was game over. Crispy, golden thin crust with melted cheese bubbling like it’s whispering, “just one bite…” Generous amounts of pepperoni, sausage, roasted peppers, onions and sauce all layered like it was handcrafted by someone who seriously respects the pie. This pizza was so good it should come with a warning label. Caution, may cause spontaneous moaning. And so if you’re reading this, your subconscious already knows you want to go. So just imagine how you’ll feel after that first bite. Hint … your future self is already thanking you!
The meatballs are delicious. I had thr meatball salad. I've never heard of a meatball salad. DELICIOUS. Wonderful time with my family! Excellent atmosphere.
Decided to give this place a shot bc it had decent reviews. We ordered a deep dish bc thats what my coworker wanted. Did the classic extra cheese, sausage and added mushrooms. Wow this thing was a beast and was tasty!! I rate it better than the G place next door! Must try the deep dish and it was a great price. We had two servers they were great. The menu had lots of options and would definitely come back.
This is a great place to go, by yourself, or with a big group of people and enjoy a great lunch or an amazing dinner. They have a very good beer, wine, and cocktail selections. Excellent pastas, good calamari, amazing pan (deep dish), and thin crust pizzas. They also have a lot of different food specials Monday through Thursday. I also would like to mention happy hour from 2:00pm - 5:00pm, with lots beer, cocktails at discounted prices and great bar appetizers at half price. The staff provided us with amazing service and made our experience a very enjoyable one. The pan pizza (deep dish) is on par with some of the best in the Chicagoland area, I can't wait to come back and try the thin crust. The shrimp scampi angel hair pasta is awesome, and it comes in a big portion. The bar is huge and you can also sit to eat at the bar, if your desire. They also have a small outdoor patio, so you can enjoy the short summer days. The parking lot is small and shared with other businesses in the strip mall, so it can be challenging to find a parking space during peak business hours. The only two negatives are the Rosemont 11.25% tax and the restaurant charges approximately 3% service fee to compensate themselves for the rapidly changing food cost. The good news is that if you ask them politely to take the extra 3% fee off your check, they will gladly take off.
We went here tonight for dinner and the food and service was fantastic!! We star r ed with the Old School Italian pizza for an appetizer. It was great and my new favorite pizza. We had the chicken limone, chicken parmesan and French onion soup and everything was excellent! Our server, Brooke, was amazing and made our dining experience even more pleasant. She was very personable, attentive, and provided amazing service and always smiling. Brooke. Do yourself a favor and stop in at Morrettis for a bite to eat. You'll be glad you did.
A group of us amounting to 100+ people had a reunion there on May 10, 2025. We all had an fabulous time!! The food was great! The atmosphere was great! A great time was had by all. Haley was great in helping us plan the event. I highly recommend this location was parties!
Always a great atmosphere and the Italian beef bowl with hot giardinera is 🔥
I travel to this location every March when I'm in Chicago for the water bills Auto Show at the Rosemont or Donald Stephens Convention Center. If you want real traditional Italian food this is the spot. Great customer service amazing staff quick meals nice and hot you've got a great big bar you can sit around or you can sit at the table. Staff is really friendly. One of the things that made me really happy this Pastime the bartenders remembered me I don't drink but I always used to sit in the same spot and I'll let him know that I enjoy coming here and I was going to give them my two cents on this location and the chicken parmesan sandwich that I get for the chicken Parmesan dinner that I normally get with the banana cake they are amazing. So if you're in Chicago please visit this place
This place was AMAZING! The pizza was incredibly delicious, well worth the wait! Friendly staff and a fun atmosphere. I'll definitely be back next time I visit Chicago!
Wow! Such a gem. Great food. Craft cocktails.
This was a great place for deep dish pizza. They have a decent beer selection. I would be cautious of the spicy sausage. It was spicy. All in all a great experience. The pizzas were delish and the service was good. They also have an extensive menu of other Italian based dishes. The place had a great vibe as well.
I had some friends from out of town and after picking them up at O'Hare on New Year's Eve, we stopped at Moretti's in Rosemont. We ordered the coconut onion rings appetizer and the House Favorite Pizza ( pepperoni, sausage, onion and green pepper). I always love introducing out of town guests to Chicago thin-crust pizza which is cut in tavern style because they think we only eat deep dish which is cut as a pie. My guest loved the pizza so much they asked to go back and have it again the next day! We also had a nice Caesar salad with the pizza. You can't go wrong at Moretti's. Great food and the price is reasonable.
We were a loud group of 10 year old hockey players and showed up with about 20 more people than our reservation. The staff didn’t blink an eye and immediately set up additional tables for us. On top of that, they even let us get all separate checks. The food was delicious and service was top notch. Thanks to Maria, Grace, and petiya. We will definitely be back when hockey brings us that way.
I visited this restaurant yesterday and had a wonderful experience. I loved the atmosphere, and I especially want to recognize Stacey, the host. She was incredibly sweet, kind, and helpful. She guided us with seating and made sure we had everything we needed. She also shared some really helpful information and recommended amazing dishes and drinks. Thank you so much, Stacey, for making our visit special!
Always solid. We usually go to the Morton grove location but went here as already in Rosemont. Service and food is always top notch both locations. I did want to recognize our Server Brook last night was outstanding. As mentioned, service is always good but she’s in another league. Will request her by name next time we visit and may even start going to this location more.
We went with a large group of families from my son's hockey team. We were loud and chaotic and more people showed up than what we made the reservation for. They were amazing. So flexible, friendly and accommodating! Our waitresses were wonderful!!!
I just had the best sandwich I've ever had in my life. The chicken Parm sandwich is hands-down the best thing that's ever touched my tongue. Ashley was the best server! She was very quick, attentive, and friendly. I wish I lived here so I could feel the joy this sandwich gave me everyday for the rest of my life. I am going to have to go to therapy for this loss.
First time having an event at the Moretti’s in Rosemont. Great event spaces for all size groups. The service was, simply, the best. Hailey, our event manager and Cat, our bartender, etc. were both fantastic. On top of everything and very helpful. It was evident from the beginning that they were there to make sure we had everything we needed throughout the night. The food was excellent and replenished as needed without having to ask. Recommend it highly.
We ordered the potato chips and French onion dip, just like everyone else recommended. That dip was just like mom used to make, Lipton soup mix. AMAZING! Simplicity is sometimes the best. We also got a 14” pizza with sausage. I like the cracker crust, the sauce and sausage were all very tasty. It was delivered faster than we expected and very fresh.
Great atmosphere. We went on a Tuesday night, which made it busy because it's half off pizza. The service was a little slow, I write that up to being so busy. We had an appetizer, grilled calamari, excellent. I had the brick chicken which is a half of chicken deboned. It was excellent. We also had the ribs, angel hair Pomodoro, Italian beef and French onion steak sandwich. The food was fantastic. I highly recommend this place.
Our group made a reservation for a kids hockey team for 25. We had 45 show up! The staff didn't miss a beat! They brought in extra tables and chairs, took our orders and served the food accurately and with a great attitude! Many thanks to Grace, Petiya and Maria for being wonderful to work with! The food was great too!
We had a 70 person party in thier banquet room, and then moved over to the restaurant when that was over. ALL of the service was great, the food done properly and communication before and during the event was spot on. Hailey, Ian and thier staff were fantastic.
I was with a really big group as a walk in after our banquet. The hostess Stacy accomodate me and my group in less than 5 minutes! She was really attentive, nice and fast. Checked on the group at least 5 times to make sure everything is going good. Gabby the bartender was super fast and nice too.
While attending a conference in Chicago, a few attendees and I decided to meet up at Moretti’s for a casual bite. 🍕 They’re known for having a solid pizza selection, so I went with a small deep-dish pizza. The pizza itself was very filling and satisfying, but I felt the toppings were a bit light compared to other well-known pizza spots I’ve tried. Flavor-wise, it was decent—but not something that truly stood out or made me crave a return visit. Service was friendly and fine, nothing to complain about, but nothing exceptional either. Overall, it was an okay experience—good for a quick meetup, but I’m not sure it would be my first choice next time I’m in Chicago. 📍 Would I come back? Maybe… but only if I’m nearby and with a group. 👉 Have you tried Moretti’s in Chicago?
11/2025 4* The restaurant was nice. Staff friendly. And the service was good. I ordered a small personal thin crust pizza. I was disappointed. Others enjoyed theirs. I just did not care for mine much. Personal taste I guess. Next time I will try something else.
Food was very good. Deep dish was good. Somewhere between Giordano's and Peaquod. Grilled calamari was absolutely delicious. Very tender! We also enjoyed the meatballs and stuffed mushrooms.
Moretti‘s rosemont half-price pizza Tuesday! Started out with a three olives vodka tonic. For our appetizer, we had the crispy brussels sprouts with Sriracha mayo delicious. We tried the Moretti’s barbecue pizza well done, and the old-school Italian My only complaint is I would’ve liked my old school Italian pizza a little more well done. don’t forget about their happy hour. Monday through Thursday, moretti‘s has happy hour along with half price appetizers from 2 to 5. Our server Angelina was so nice and very attentive. service was five stars!
Very popular and crowded. Reserved a large table for my family, and it was ready upon arrival. I ordered the NY strip, and although I asked for medium well, it was more medium rare. Taste was good but very tough fat. We also had some pasta that was good, but the sauce was a bit salty. The best thing we tried was the chicken straps for my granddaughter. They were very crispy yet tender.
It wasn’t crowed on a Thursday afternoon. We did the $8 pizza special but honestly.. was really disappointed. It just wasn’t our flavor profile. The wings were typical bar and grill with nice cuts of veggies. The French onion soup was spot on though. I’ll come back to try possibly their pastas… not so much the pizza.
In town for a couple of hours and this place was close to my hotel. I wanted something good and saw this place on google. It was really packed Saturday night but I found space at the bar. The bartenders were really nice and patient. This was my first time here so I had lots of questions. I decided on cheese bread to start. Def overpriced but it was decent. I like my bread cooked a little more. But the taste was there. I also got this chicken Romano that was really good. Sooo flavorful with that garlic shrimp. Yeah that was soo good.
Came for dinner on a Saturday night, sat down quickly and got our food quickly. The food was very good and is in a very good location. I got the Italian beef with hot and sweet peppers, I did order mozzarella on my beef, but unfortunately, it didn’t come with mozzarella on. It also tried their coleslaw and it was pretty good. Washed it down with a spicy mango Paloma.
Moretti’s Italian Restaurant offers a warm, inviting atmosphere with friendly service and generous portions. Standouts include their crispy thin-crust pizza, rich pasta dishes, and hearty mushroom & chicken marsala risotto. Prices are reasonable. The restaurant delivers a dependable, flavorful Italian-American experience with standout dishes, welcoming service, and great value. A go-to spot for anyone craving hearty, well-made comfort food in a warm atmosphere.
Food was very good! I definitely recommend 👌
Moretti's Rosemont serves up some great brews and deep dish pies as other locations near O'Hare airport. Restaurant has ample parking and welcoming bar area in front. Inside, cozy booths, table and hightop seating along with a bar area. Ordered the deep dish with sausage and mushrooms and was delicious and filling. Dozen wings and fried Ravioli appetizers were on point. Beers on tap were cold and refreshing. The staff and servers were great and very attentive in the bar area. Will have to return to Moretti's Rosemont for football Sundays
I decided to book a reservation at this location which was more convenient for my friends and I. The table was ready before the 730pm reservation which was great, it was very busy, after getting seated, it took a long time for a waitress to approach our table, after we got our drinks, it took even longer for someone to take our order, it ended up being another waitress taking our order that handed it off to the original one because she was taking so long. The food was a great and fresh, it was just the lack of service and attentiveness that was disappointing.
Went here before a show at Allstate Arena. Kids “make your own” pizza was a hit with the kids. Service was fair since our server needed to be reminded about aspects of our order a few times. I got the soup/salad combo. The chopped salad was fresh and delicious. If you, like me, love French onion soup- don’t order it here! It had a weird, strong paprika flavor, and didn’t get to the table until the rest of the meal was almost over.
We had some time in Chicago and wanted to get some deep dish pizza. We went to the main place but they had a 45-min wait and then it was going to be an additional 40-min wait snd we didn’t have the time so we decided to try the competitor The competitor had no wait and we were seated immediately. The main place has a lunch special which is very popular but this place did not. This place also said a long wait for the pizza so we ordered mozzarella sticks to start and then a cheese and pepperoni deep dish. The mozzarella sticks came quick but they were average in taste. The deep dish came out quicker than promised and was decent with a good flavor; I think the competitor one was better in terms of size and flavor Overall decent food in a comfortable atmosphere but when I revisit Chicago will go back to the original
My dinner was average. The server was friendly but the food wasn’t anything exceptional. It was good, but didn’t feel like anything special. It wasn’t overly crowded so I was sat and served pretty quickly. I started with a salad and it had two olives, 3 tomatoes, a couple of chopped cucumber pieces and lettuce. I did like the ranch. I had Chicken Limone which is pretty much chicken piccata. It came with two pieces of grilled chicken breast, artichokes, sun dried tomatoes and the lemony cream sauce with capers. On the side was angel hair with spinach, which I enjoyed. One piece of chicken was cooked perfectly but the other piece was bit rubbery and there was even a piece of it I couldn’t eat because of some gristle or something in it. The sauce was a bit heavy but tasted good. I also took home a piece of donut cheesecake, which I wish she had told me it also had raspberries on it since I was expecting something different. It was good and something different but I didn’t eat it all. I would still go back and give another dish a try, especially the pizza because the couple next to me had a deep dish that look pretty darn good.
Food was good. I ordered ‘The Widowmaker.’ Medium cooked with onions and the crispy brussel sprouts. Brussel sprouts were ok. I’ve had better elsewhere. Service was good. Food came out fast. The food items were a little pricey, I think. I didn’t know that Rosemont also has a higher tax rate than Chicago. 10.75%. I tried it. It was good. Maybe I’ll be back for the pizza next time. 1/2 price pizza Tuesdays! Maybe
Just average. I would not return for many reasons. First, we waited at least 5 minutes before a hostess greeted us, as there was no one staffing the hostess station. After being seated, we waited, once again, for wait staff. After the initial waiter took our order, another waiter came to our table to take our order. We waited yet again for drinks, iced tea and water. After waiting 15 minutes or more, the second waiter came to our table to tell us they were out of minestrone soup and it would be another 5 minutes as they had to MAKE more. (When I make soup, it takes much longer than 5 minutes. Soup needs to simmer. Even if all the ingredients were prepped and ready to combine, they still need to cook to develop flavor.) The soup was watery and lacking flavor. When the waiter delivered the soup, our drinks were empty and he neglected to ask if we wanted refills. We ordered salads for our meals. The herb crusted chicken salad was tasty and prepared as requested. The chopped chicken salad was mediocre. As we were eating our salads, the waiter brings over 4 plates and more napkins. We looked at each other perplexed. (We did not order appetizers.) While consuming our dinner, the waiter comes over and starts removing items from the condiment caddy. ???? It was only 8:30pm. I placed my napkin over my plate (to indicate that I have finished) and the waiter asks me if I'm done. 🤔 We get our bill and realize that we never received the french fries that we ordered!! We chose this restaurant because of the reviews. Not a good experience! Hope yours is better. We were seated where we could see into the kitchen. Staff with long hair should have it tied back when in the kitchen. I saw too many heads flipping hair.
I am here in chicago on business. I was told to try this place out that it has good food. This place is nice has a big bar and has plenty of seating. However, when we realized our party was going to be 6 instead of 5 we. Requested a bigger table. The place was 75% empty and the lady at the counter gave me a hard time about getting a bigger table. There were 5 grown men who all wanted pizza. So I knew this was going to take up space on our table. So a bigger table would have been more comfortable for us. The lady told me we could just add an extra chair to the table and that would be fine. I asked her isn't it possible for us to get a larger table. She would not agree with me she said the other tables were too big. That started off our night on a bad note. Service was friendly but very slow. Our server was not the best server i've ever had. The food I would have to say was not the best. But I would not go out of my way for this place. We passed a one of my favorite places to try this place out. Had I known the food was not going to be as good and the service sub par and a lady with an attitude at the door we would have gone to my favorite place instead. Never again. On a positive note the Italian beef I ordered was packed with meat. BUT the one thing everyone else wanted, the DEEP DISH pizza, was not good and small in comparison to other deep dish pizza places, we did order their largest deep dish. Choose for yourself but don't missout on better places in the area. Giordanos or Portillos are better options
I ordered a 14" Cheese Pizza with Sausage. Instead, I received a cardboard box filled with cut crackers and chunks of sausage. Now I will admit, the grubhub order system is a little funky, but one would assume I ordered a pizza with sauce and cheese. Its a cheese pizza. You saw the order form and for. And thought, yes, this is definitely what they ordered, and took over $20 of my money to send me what I wouldn't feed to the homeless. Its disrespectful and honestly embarrassing that this came out of their kitchen. I will not be ordering again.
We ate here last night (12-9-24) and my friend and I got immense food poisoning from your pizza. The price was for one, outrageous for the quality. Our server was rarely there to change out water, and the food did not look as advertised. I'm very disappointed and will not be coming back or reccomending this place to anyone.
Ordered pizza for pick up at 4:45. Didn’t receive it until 5pm. Pizza warm not even hot. Hold up was the appetizer yet those were cold. The worse part of this experience was the Host Gabby, she had the most rude disgusting attitude with guests and her fellow host. Yelled at one host and slammed menus on the counter. Kept rolling her eyes at guest and was not friendly at all. I am a regular here and this is experience was very off putting.
