I was pleasantly surprised at this comfortable cosey, modern joint. Beer made on site we're spot on, Local cheese platter and the candied bacon when very well with my beer of choice. I opted for a split fire cooked pizza with my last glass. I enjoyed myself and enjoyed others craving what I ordered as I indulged.

Such a wonderful place to stop and have a drink. The pizza was amazing and the beer was even better! Personally loved the AltBier! I can't wait for Railhead to keep growing and start distribution to stores nearby!

Awesome place to get a beer and some delicious pizza. I got the chicken and arugula pizza. The place had a good number of people but we were able to have group conversations with out yelling.

My fiancee and I went to visit his sister, son and fiancee in Hornell and this was the first time that I had met his sister and her family. My fiancee's brother and family came out to see us and meet me and we all went out to eat at the Railhead Brewery. It was my fiancee's and my first time there. We were very impressed! We love the atmosphere! Seeing the wood burning stove was really cool! Their menu up on the wall for the wood burning pizza's is very interesting to see. Very interesting toppings and the selection is awesome! Their pizza is phenominal! We also had cheese and crackers and their cheese is delicious! His sister and her fianciee ordered Reeses Peanut Butter pizza desserts and OMG my mouth was watering! I loved it! We all did! What a treat! My fiancee and I will return to the Railhead Brewery. I have one son that was a manager at Mark's Pizzeria and his brother at another Mark's Pizzeria location making pizza's, cashier, taking calls, doing deliveries and etc... They both worked very long hours! My boys appreciated what they did and how they did it. I appreciate the workers and give them a lot of credit when it comes to making our pizza's. More people should! I will recommend the Railhead Brewery to everyone! See you soon guys!

This pizza is really special. We had the special, leek pizza and it was amazing and so unique. Great prices. We hadn't been here since before Covid, and Railhead is going strong!

It is a small, rustic appearing establishment. Great tasting pizza. It is a busy place, off the beaten path. It was my first time here, hope to return if we are in that area again!

The building is a nice wooden structure with ample parking and an outdoor seating area. Once inside, the beautiful wood theme continues holding a few tables and some bar seating. On the night that we went, there were about six Railhead beers on tap with one non-Railhead cider available as well. The beers were a good assortment including a Kolsch, IPA, Sour, etc. I had a flight of 4 and they were all tasty. On the food side, we had a personal pizza and a soft pretzel, but they also offer a cheese plate. The pizza was absolutely the best that I've had anywhere in the area and the pretzel was delicious as well. The pretzels are made fresh each day (so when they run out, they run out for the day). Watching the pizza cooking in the wood fired oven, with a nice cold beer in my hand was a truly beautiful thing. I should mention that they have 10 different pizzas on the menu, plus a special of the day which means that they had a bigger selection of pizzas than beers and that was just fine with us. Again, everything was delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful and the prices were fair. What more could you ask for?

You can get an absolutely delicious (not just delicious for this area, objectively really tasty) personal pizza for $10. They also brew their own beer, most of which is really quite good. I honestly can't think of a single bad thing to say about this place.

Just keep in mind that they have beer in smaller batches, so some times they run out, and you are forced to drink another delicious beer you were not prepared to, so what? If it gets busy though, the dining room may not offer adequate seating, but the food and the beverages make it worth a visit!

Full disclosure: I'm still not sure about the whole "wood fired" pizza style. The whole category kind of feels like an excuse, rather than actually making Neapolitan or New Haven style. Regardless of my personal opinion, the pizzas we got from Railhead were fairly consistent with other examples of this style that I've had. I preferred a little more char on top and a hotter hearth, but the pale-tan, inoffensive pies we were served are probably the safest decision for a somewhat new establishment in a small market. The margarita pizza was passable. The mozzarella was fine, the sauce was fine, but it really highlighted my disappointment with the crust. However, the seasonal special with squash, onion, and goat cheese was FANTASTIC! The crust is sufficient as a vehicle with nice chew, if maybe a little heavy. The more flavor in your toppings, the happier you'll be. I've gotta give them major props for embracing the autumn season and putting nontraditional toppings on a pizza with great attention to how the flavors would blend. The seasonal Pizza alone was enough to encourage me to stop by to try their brews when this darn pandemic is over.

Bright and cramped inside during a dreary winter day. Definitely led to believe it'd be a lot bigger and more comfortable inside. Quite loud with a busy crowd, hard to have a conversation.
