I've been going to Bully Hill since I was a kid. Visited today with 2 of my kids Any youngest just turned 21 ,it was the perfect time! We really enjoyed our tour and even got to see a rare event! Our tour guide was knowledgeable about the process of wine making and the History of Bully Hill !
It was our first time at this winery that a friend recommended. My husband & did the wine tasting. Dylan was behind the bar. He knows his job well, from all the different wines they offer to the history of the winery, which made it a more personal & fun experience. It has a beautiful view of the lake. We bought both merchandise & wine. This is now one of my top wineries. We will definitely be back.
Great views, good food, tasting room, gift shop, museum and gallery. Relax sand spend some time.
Bully hill is a staple in the finger lakes. I recommend them to everyone passing through because the time spent is not only its own slice of history but a nod to all that the community strives to be. You are treated like family whether you’re a local or someone passing through for the afternoon. The wine is timeless, the food is comfort and the history is the definition of why we all want our roots to be in the finger lakes. Plan an afternoon and you will not regret it!
Bully Hill was so much more than a wine tasing. First, and most obvious is the entire winery is just gorgeous. Beautiful view from the top of a mountain looking down across acres of vineyards to the serene Keuka Lake below. You forget you're in NYS! The restaurant is very good. BEST chicken salad I've ever eaten. Sincerely, I don't how you can make someone crave chicken salad but they have succeeded. I dream about that sandwich. The wine tasting is fun and informative! I had no idea just how long and storied wine making is in NYS. And the Taylor family has been a part of it from close to day one. Check out the Art Gallery. Its definitely worth your time. My absolute favorite wine is the St. Croix Red. Very good - easy to drink- not sweet- which I love. Bully Hill is a MUST when visiting Keuka Lake.
Bully Hill is absolutely a must visit if you’re in the area! In fact we try to visit whenever we have guests in town- it’s a great dining area with a fabulous selection and between the gallery, tasting room, and gift shop you have so much to explore. Just recently we were able to enjoy a cozy lunch there with friends- can’t go wrong with the falafel salad! I want to plug going this time of year- gorgeous winter views and such a comfortable atmosphere! And I hear Santa will be checking it out this Saturday! Side note- years ago my wife and I chose Bully Hill for our wedding wine. If you’re seeking a wide selection to please a big group they are a stellar choice and so easy to work with. From pick up to pour they were responsive, helpful, and everyone loved it!
This place never disappoints! It’s a favorite of ours - for all the right reasons. Staff bend over backwards to make sure your experience is always on par. Wine is always consistent and reliable, and we’ve recommended many visiting family and friends for tastings and/or to the restaurant. And speaking of the restaurant….the menu has something for everyone; food quality and portions are excellent every time! It really shows how this local family cares about their craft and taking care of their customers.
We were there to lead prep and it was worth the drive! The staff were so kind and accommodating from the moment we sat from lunch. We continued to a wine tasting and then the museum. Our wine tasting bar tender was so humorous and knowledgeable- TOP NOTCH! Steve checked in on us periodically and made sure we didn’t need anything. The lunch was superb. Highly recommend for a wine stop!!!

We had such a wonderful experience at Bully Hill Vineyards! Our tour with Curt was the absolute highlight — he was so welcoming, sweet, and incredibly knowledgeable, sharing stories and fun facts that made the tour both engaging and memorable. He made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The property is beautifully maintained with gorgeous views, and the whole atmosphere is so relaxing yet full of character. The wines are fragrant, refreshing, and full of flavor — each tasting felt like its own little adventure. It’s also a surprisingly perfect spot for kids and families, with plenty of space to explore, as well as an amazing place for a fun day out with friends. Between the friendly staff, the charm of the place, and the quality of the wine, we left with happy hearts, bottles to take home, and memories we’ll cherish. Highly recommend! 🍷🍇
One of many vineyards in the Finger Lake region of New York. Located on the west side of Keuka Lake, they produce many different wines. From dry to sweat. The tasting room workers are very friendly and knowledgeable about the wines they produce. There's also a gift shop and restaurant, along with a museum. A very enjoyable time.
Really nice experience! Only tried sweet wines and really were all great and very well priced! Favorites were Ravat 51 and Peach! Also so nice that they give a active and former service discount! Thank You! Also stayed for lunch and while was a bit pricy was very good and glad to have so convenient! We came here again in 2025 and still loved all the wines! Did more of the sweeter side of tastings only a dollar each! So could have as few or as many as you wanted! You have some new fortified wines which are great! And still loved some of the ones we've had in the past! Great experience. Overall knowledgeable stuff and beautiful winery! Also dog friendly! ☺️
BEST tasting experience on our annual wine tour of the Finger Lakes. Dylan was absolutely AMAZING and made our visit memorable and fun. We also ate at the restaurant on property, and the food from the smoker was fantastic. We ended up finding wines for everyone in our party to enjoy and purchase. Great stop. Don't miss!
Quick trip to Bully Hill Vineyards. We usually visit in the winter, this was our first time where the museum was open and so was the tasting bar. The food is fantastic at the restaurant and the wine tasting is fun. The folks behind the counter seem to really enjoy what they’re doing as well as being knowledgable about their wine. Bully Hill has a great story as well. We’ll be back in the winter!
Every time I visit Keuka Lake, I have to come to Bully Hill Vineyards. This time, we had the nicest tour with this young guy ( I forgot his name, but not his stories and personality). He is so knowledgeable about the Vineyard and the whole area. After that we had lunch at the restaurant which I always like. Great atmosphere overlooking the grape vines and the lake down below. The food was very good. You can buy gifts, have wine tasting experience, and leave the place feeling happier.
Bully Hill is a great winery to get some quick fix for a meal. Their specials are definitely recommended over their regular menu options and are extremely flavorful! However, their portions are smaller compared to other places which is of note. Service is fast and friendly. The view of the Lake from their restaurant is just great. Additionally, the gift store is wonderful and so are their on-site museums. The goats on the property are definitely worth the visit as well!
There’s so much to love for this particular vineyard and it just keeps growing in popularity!!!! We’ve been coming back for the past 15-20yrs since dear Ed was still working behind the wine tasting counter. For some reason Ed just seemed to make the wine and the atmosphere so much better. We love the wine, food, location, staff but our favorite is the artworks that is on every bottle. Each artwork has so much depth and history. Location is absolutely breathtaking! It’s situated on a hillside overlooking the Keuka Lake and If you drive a little further past the winery you can stand on some of the large rocks and see where the actual forks of the Finger Lakes!!! Wine - hands down winner for us! Food and their restaurant is very delicious. Prices is very reasonable. Seated outside on their patio is priceless. Menu hasn’t hanged much but it’s still delicious and there’s a little for everyone. Staff is super friendly. Service is fantastic although ordering in non traditional. You have to go up to their counter and place your order like a fast food restaurant. Not bad but it works. Cleanliness is great. Gift shop is fantastic. It has a little something for everyone as well. Views from Bully Hill is the most beautiful compared to others but the best thing of course is their wine!! Overall everyone will enjoy it and they continue to be consistent with great wine, food and staff. Thanks for all wonderful memories Bully Hill.
Good food, great view. Stopped by for lunch, was really good. Salads, barbecue, sandwiches. Can’t go wrong. Nephew’s review of the peanut butter pie was “silky and flavorful with a phenomenal presentation”. Try the onion rings, they are worth it. If you can sit on the patio/deck, do that.
I had a good experience at the winery at first, Curt was exceptionally knowledgeable. He shared the history of the winery in great detail and answered all of my questions about the winemaking process and much more! However, I did experience an issue with Dylan that I feel is important to mention. His attitude came across as passive-aggressive, and at one point he even made a shadow gesture on the wall that felt dismissive. It was as if he shouted to the wine maker that I was just “A Somm from NYC asking too many questions,” when in reality, I was genuinely interested in learning more about the winery and its craft. What made the situation worse was overhearing him criticize me to another customer standing right next to me while shaking his head..When I told him he was a little passive, he got a little defensive . I swear that even my partner recognized his behavior and said that he could have handled it better. This was disappointing. Dylan, be better! You should know how to provide good customer service without getting annoyed when someone asks you about wine making, while representing the front house at a higher scale. Even my nine-year-old son would had a better attitude pouting that wine with a bigger smile!
