Every time we come here the staff is very nice and the food is always hot and fresh. The restaurant is very clean and beautiful.

The drive through was so fast never have I gone trough a drive through that was so quick. I order 5 bowls and it took lease then a minute to go through the whole drive through. Great job girls.

I go there regularly easy go to good food. If there out of any part of your order they will compensate and are very polite and fair.
KFC is so delicious and you can't really beat the price - especially for the $5 fill-ups. You can easily feed a couple of people for under $15 and that includes drinks and cookies!
This is a really good KFC for getting fresh food and plenty of choices in stock. However it is usually packed full of customers. We ate in and took out.
We've always had excellent food at this KFC. Service has had a couple thumbs down times but otherwise all the other times...thumbs-up 👍.
Went to Horseheads KFC, NY this afternoon. Food was hot and GOOD! Service was outstanding. Doug co-manager was working the register, to us. We ate in. Doug gave us excellent service. So upbeat and pleasant to every customer. Have not seen such manners anywhere for awhile.
My only complaint is the price for slaw is a bit high. I personally have chosen to drive to horseheads vs. Southside. The food and service is leaps and bounds better.
Very good chicken sandwich, fries and the medium Dr Pepper. No lines at the drive through, so it was quick to get it. I still think price should be dropped about a dollar or two to bring in more customers.
Let me tell you about the greatest fast food employee to ever lace up an apron. Tim. Tim is the Assistant Manager for this location. The absolute professionalism, dedication, integrity, and excellence demonstrated by Tim on a daily basis is second to none. In a world full of fast food workers who care so little for their job, let alone the people they serve. Tim is the exception. Tim not only cares deeply about the customers he serves and always makes something right if it is wrong, but also has a phenomenal work ethic and strong leadership & morals. In my whole life I have never witnessed such a hardworking and inspired KFC employee with a kindhearted soul. I believe Tim could be the CEO of KFC. In fact, I believe Scott Mezvinsky should personally thank Tim for being such an amazing representation of the company’s down south roots and community driven hospitality that their franchise has praised since the beginning in 1930’s Kentucky providing a down home oasis in an otherwise strictly northern yankee buffalo bills cheering city. So from all of us from the community Tim serves, we thank you for your extreme dedication to service and unrelenting courage in a troubling time and chaotic part of the year. and less we forget, Tim couldn’t do it alone, we also thank all the supporting staff who made it possible for Tim to reach his full potential as the greatest fast food professional of modern history.
Chicken tenders we're good and the service was very friendly but the new french fries were overcooked and hard. Threw them out

Waited in extremely long drive thru long to purchase 2 Of the donut sandwiches. Trust me when I say DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. Donuts should come with a warning extremely full of grease and no flavor. Now chicken with vanilla glaze drizzled over top of which I wound up doing was tasty sweet and salty like it should of been not grease, sweet and salty
Always good food, at a reasonable price. I usually get the 5 dollar fill up Pot Pie meal. Unfortunately, they were all out of Pot Pies, for some reason. That's the only reason I gave them 4 stars. That never happened before. Out of an item at 1pm to 2pm? No way.

I love KFC's chicken and this is a typical KFC. They have had some staffing issues, so occasionally the wait is a bit longer than I'd like for fast food, but I've never faulted the staff, they were always doing their best to keep the food coming. Service us usually friendly, occasionally just businesslike, never dismissive.
Counter person was rude, didn't change my order from mashed potatoes to French fries. Would Not let me upgrade to a chicken breast only a leg or thigh

First we went to the Elmira location. Could barely tell they were even open, since almost all of the lights and signs were out. The drive thru employee was friendly, but told us they didn’t have enough extra crispy for a whole bucket, but said they could do half and half. We declined, and chose to drive to Horseheads. The outside lights and signage were out there too, though they were clearly open, as it was early evening., and there was a long line in the drive thru. We had a $32 order..a 16 piece bucket of extra crispy. The legs were tiny..barely bigger than the wings, and we were shorted one piece of chicken. We did have a long wait, but that was okay, since they told us they would be making it fresh. They were friendly and helpful, and the chicken was hot and delicious. We were just disappointed that the pieces were so small, and that one was missing, since it averages out to $2 per piece.
I got the $20 fill-up box, and the food was old. The chicken was so dried out there was hardly any meat on it. The fries were squished into the box, the chicken pieces were so small, and there was not even enough to feed 2 people. The only thing that was any good was the buiscuits. Was excited because we don't go to Painted Post one because of too many bad experiences and don't get down to this area often, and normally get good food from there.
Walked inside, skipped the kiask and waited at the desk because I wanted to pay cash, patiently waited 10 minutes. Worker said to other worker, looks like they don’t know how to use the kiask. I just left after that.
Went threw the drive threw and the guy didn’t remember which soda was witch so he took the lid off and put it up to his nose and says that’s rootbeer I’m like wth
The food here was fine. Nothing spectacularly good nor spectacularly bad. However you CANNOT have it your way here. No, no, no. Don't you dare try to swap something out in your meal combo. Apparently Burger King is the place to go if you wanna have it your way. Or like that episode of the Simpsons where Marge has a nervous breakdown and she goes to Rancho Relaxo and Troy McClure says, 'Have it Your Way, Baby!" Well, not here at the KFC in Horseheads, NY anyway. Go to Burger King or Rancho Relaxo if you wanna have or your way.
After spending 7 hours in the ER, stopped at kfc for dinner. What a mistake! The chicken was so overcooked it could hardly be cut, the biscuit was rock hard and the potatoes were luke warm. Such a sorry experience!
This place is hit or miss in my experience. The food quality itself is usually good, and the service is usually decent when I go, but sometimes I've had issues with orders getting messed up. Sometimes it's just minor errors, but recently I had a complete misunderstanding of what I wanted to order. Though it was partially my fault, the staff wasn't very helpful in substituting the incorrect meal for the other of the same price, which was the one I had meant to order. In summary, this location is usually pretty good, but could use a little improvement in service at times.
Service was good. One employee ruined the dining experience by being rude to customers and yelling at other employees the whole time we were there.
Didn’t get half of what I ordered and got something different. They took care of the drive threw first instead of others that had ordered ahead of time and food wasn’t even done when we got their.
The time I went there I got what was supposed to be a bucket of 8 original recipe. I received a glob of unknown pieces. They all were connected in a glob of three. I'm very disappointed. I've never had that happen before.
Ordered ahead thru the app, but still had an excessive wait. Later discovered they had not included all of the food that I had paid for, but by then I didn't want to drive back.
Get them some help here. The staff seem really stressed; maybe they are overworked. You can tell they don't enjoy their job with the cursing and frustration about customers "ordering too much."

Old/chewy nuggets were served. Upon ask of new nuggets, employee made a bad face and got the new nuggets without any apology. Very bad service!
Didn't have the original only extra crispy. To hard to chew for me. Baled beans were way to sweet. Biscuits were really old and so hard you couldn't even pull them apart. I hit them on the table and they barely even crumbled they were so hard. Very disappointed this time. It will be a long while before I go back again
The drive- thru staff were cheerful and polite, however my food was a disappointment. Chicken tenders were mediocre, fries and biscuit were not fresh. I can't even speak on the mashed potatoes, because they didn't give me any utensils to eat them with. Fountain drink was watery and gross. These are easy things to fix! Hopefully it's better the next time I get a craving for kfc.
Horseheads KFC is hit or miss, but mostly miss. This isn't the first time we've had an issue, but the food is usually OK. We had ordered 3 Spicy Chicken Sandwich Combos & 2 Chicken Tender (3pc) Combos w/Honey Mustard. We received 3 sandwiches and 3 boxes. We assumed our fries that went w/the sandwiches were in the 3rd box. Nope, they gave us another 3 piece Tender combo and NO Honey Mustards. That meant we only got 1 additional fries to go w/the sandwiches. We would've gone back, but the roads were getting slick when we drove home w/our to-go food. It's just annoying because my husband and I didn't get Fries w/our sandwiches. I gave the fries that came w/the tenders to my son, so he at least got some. The girls had no dipping sauce for their tenders.
Order the 3 pc. Dark meat combo. I could not identify the pieces and they forgot the coleslaw even though I paid for it and it was on the receipt. The flavor of the chicken was still good.
Food was great, except after opening our bags, our biscuits were ridiculously hard it was impossible to eat any of them. Also found to be TWO other items. Items which were apart of a combo meal. After placing our order inside the store it took over 15 minutes for our food to be ready! Our family was very dissatisfied and so am I. We wont be returning anytime soon.
Our story begins with a 12-piece family chicken tenders meal. It comes with 12 pieces of chicken, three large sides, and six biscuits. I ordered the meal and my three sides were mashed potatoes, corn, and macaroni and cheese. I was directed to drive in front of the store where they would bring it out. Upon receiving my order, I noticed there were no biscuits so I drove back through the drive-thru. At the speaker, I told the guy I received no biscuits and I was instructed to pull to the window where I was questioned as to whether I had received the biscuits. I said no. He then turned to his co-worker and asked if he had put the biscuits in my order and he said no. This means that this worker felt completely comfortable giving me my order knowing it was incomplete. Clearly I was expected to drive off and only realize this issue once I got home. The guy at the window tells me that there are only three biscuits available unless I want to wait while they make more OR he will give me the biscuits available and an extra side. I said I would take the biscuits and another side of mac and cheese. However, he was not allowed to give me mac and cheese as an option, so I took more mashed potatoes. Upon arriving home I opened the bag to find the original order of mac and cheese was missing. So the large side, which I was given to make up for the lack of biscuits, was not really compensation. Yet again, the order was shorted and no one seemed to be concerned. KFC is not inexpensive - the order came to over $40. The fact that they would hire staff members who knowingly don't give what you pay for is tantamount to theft. They won't get my business again. If you do eat there, make sure you double and triple check your order because KFC is Finger Rip-off Good. 9-4-2023 Tonight I pull into the parking lot with my wife and notice three employees hanging around outsidechatting and smoking. I jokingly said to my wife 'I wonder who's running the store?'. We went inside and there was another employee in a corner booth smacking some kind of utensil against the table. Repeatedly. We got up to the counter and realized the place was empty, until a girl on her phone noticed us and then scurried away. Away. Not moving closer to help us, but actually move away to avoid us. We gave up and went back to the car at which time we noticed there were now four employees outide. Then we noticed a fifth employee talking to what we guessed was her boyfriend. If I ran that KFC I would have been looking at seven unemployed workers at that point.
Being fast food, I have a baseline expectation of zero. However, I do care about the quality of products offered in my community. Unfortunately, the locally operated business I typically buy fried chicken from was closed on Easter Sunday so I went here. It was a mistake. The food I ordered was clearly not fresh and and sitting out for a LONG time. Chicken tenders did not taste right and the fried batter soft. Fries were a mixture of textures between rubbery and rock hard. While I am sure this is due to the fact of minimal business on this holiday, the owners/operators should be making the decision to either train & hold their employees accountable for ensuring the food is always fresh (prepared food shelf-life) -especially if a responsible manager/employee is not on property or simply closing the restaurant during these type of low-business days. The Sweet Lightning Mountain Dew is always fantastic (which I swished my mouth with once the freezer-burn after taste of my meal set in), but this is turning out to be the only reason I visit KFC at all... I won't even get into the Chicken Pizza "Chizza" that seemingly was created by a over-confident, "creative" school lunch lady.
Food was so stale and dry. Very upset I wasted my last $25 here. Never again.
Hate to throw out food. I would avoid the fries from here they over salt them an they need to change the frier oil more often the fries are TRASH rather eat dirt then these KFC fries I suggest not ordering any meals that have fries.

I just came from Horseheads KFC and I am fuming!! I requested an 8 piece half original and half crispy bucket, I get home and ALL of it is over cooked and the chicken is dried out!! I called and called and even called the 800 # ,was put on hold and no one ever answered. Thanks for wasting my money.

I purchased a bucket of chicken it was so full of grease on botom of bucket and very dark I heated up in air fryer the bottom had so much grease in it and the chicken was still greasy he got so sick thank God I didn't eat any of it I threw out the rest of it it was the one in horseheads
I went to KFC at 9pm on Saturday and was told they had NO CHICKEN and that they only had chicken bowls. I was not given a reason or an apology. Is it just me or was I asking to much.... to get chicken at a chicken based establishment. Lol, good way to do business KFC!.

I went thru the drive-thru on May 12,2020 ordered a 3 piece BIG BOX MEAL LEG,2 THIGH MAC&CHEESE MASH POTATOES WITH GRAVY ORIGNAL NOT CRISPY LIKE WE GOT BURNT GREASES CHICKEN THE ONLY THING GOOD WAS THING GOOD WAS MAC&CHEESE AND MASH TATORS,SECOND MEAL WAS ORIGNAL2 MEAL BURNTS GREASE BREAST AND WING MAC&CHEESE MY BUSINEES WON'T BE THERE AT ALL ANYMORE THIS IS THE SECOND TIME.The chicken what chicken no chicken to eat both were CRISPY and I didn't order crispy.

How can a KFC be out of the original recipe? This happened to me the last two times. They were out of biscuits and coleslaw. Ridiculous. My advise for folks don't go to this KFC. Overpriced is bad enough, but not having items that a KFC shouldn't run out makes it worse.
Mobile order should beable to get quick drive through especially if no one there but I. I was rudely told I needed to go in to pick it up. I won't be back anytime soon
My wife and I ordered a $50 dollar order tonight, we got the confirmation our order was ready to be picked up, so I went started to walk In and a girl came out and said we are closed, I said I have a online order, very rudely she said 8m gonna need you to cancel your order we are out of chicken. Come to find out she had chicken she was just to lazy to make more apparently. Also found out her name is Emily and she is the General Manager here. Very poor service and very rude for being a manager. She could of easily called our number that is on our order and said hey we are out of chicken instead of wasting my time driving there because our order said it was READY! Never again will we go back. I will drive to elmira next time.
I don’t know how they have any higher than one star. I went through the drive through three days ago and they forgot to give me my sons food. I live 30 minutes away so I called when I got home and was put on a list so I could get it when I came back. My husband and I vary rarely to never go towards that direction so today we decided to go just to get our food and not cook dinner. We claimed our forgotten food and and ordered what else we wanted got to the window paid, watched them double check the bags and tell us it was all good. THEY FORGOT MORE OF OUR FOOD THE SECOND TIME. 10/10 do not recommend, they also made our chicken littles wrong. Will never stop at this KFC location again. Not worth the hassle.
We ordered the 20 piece meal. We get home 5 pieces of the chicken we had to throw them out because they where broken off ends from the chicken. So really we only got 15 pieces of chicken. The biscuits where very hard. My family from out of town said when they come back they don’t want this food again. Mashed potatoes where very runny. I will not waste my time to go this KFC again. Not even worth the money we spent on the food.
We walked in and ordered 2 3 pc meals and a chicken sandwich meal. We said dine in but they put it in a bag so we took it home. We were missing a piece of chicken and we didn't get our biscuits. The cashier was very rude.
Policy doesn't allow for one to do mutiple orders through drive. That's okay. What isn't okay is having four people working with no one in drive trough or in house. I'm spending my money there. No need to deal with that on lunch..
Ordered 12 PC meal uber eats when I get the food chicken is over fried. Called to have chicken replaced was told they would give me half off my next visit. Kicker is I spoke to Emily the general manager at that or at least that's what I was told she was.
Horseheads, I went through the drive thru and ordered 16 piece Extra Crispy Chicken bucket. After I started home I checked the order, I found the instead of putting the order in a bucket and box, they jammed it in the bucket, overflowing. But to add the chicken was NOT extra crispy but EXTRA GREASY. I went back and asked for a refund, to be told “we do not give refunds” and “call 1 800 CALL KFC” Really? Be forewarned.
Tried to order from them on doordash. Order was confirmed and was starting to be prepared but was cancelled after about thirty minutes of waiting. They weren't closing for at least 50 minutes when we ordered and our order wasn't very large either.
Went in waited. The staff saw my husband and I waiting at the counter but we never got waited on..so we left. KFC in Sayre the service is much better. I will go there instead from now on.

The one star is for the coleslaw. Got the family fill up box, crispy. Opened it and every bit of the breading had fallen off and the color told me it was fried in old grease. DO BETTER.

Ordered online for an 8:45 pick up (30+ minute window). Attempted to call and add an order of the dessert not offered online from the moment order was placed until I was the next person to get to the pickup window. Dessert not there, singles instead of wholes offered, paid for them. Got to the window 30 minutes after it should have been picked up, and order wasnt ready, waited another 10 minutes at the window. Then was asked what sauces should have been with the meal. I placed the order online so that the kids at home got what they wanted.... Full dessert cakes of a different flavor displayed, but no offers of that. Spoke with manager after food was given. He made it right on dessert, but get home and no gravy for 2 orders of mashed pots, no plates (which were ordered)no silverware....
Absolutely the worse meal I have ever bought. The chicken was burnt and did not smell good at all. Complete waste had to toss it. So dried out couldn't even chew it. Gave me the wrong side and the biscuit was in crumbs..No exaggeration at all. This is the first time I have ever made a complaint anywhere. That should say enough.
Pathetic! Order ahead to be picked up at dinner time 5:30pm. I get there and they tell me that they have no chicken and I have to wait 10 min. When I ask for my money back, sorry no refund using app and the manager was very rude and disrespectful! It won't be long and thus KFC will be empty because customers are fed up with service and treatment by your $15/hr employees! 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
From what I hear the food is hit or miss. Terrible or good. My food I got was quite a while ago from horseheads location but it tasted nasty but I ate it anyways because I was really hungry. It was wings and I my stomach got upset after. However that was the grand opening and this is now so if I get a good sandwich I will raise the rating. If not. Staying one star. Never ever ever going back. Stay tuned.
Awful service: doesn’t matter if you use their app or the drive-thru you still have to wait 15+ minutes for your food to be ready. They always forget a side or 2. And the food is loaded with salt.
If there was a zero this establishment would get it. We have been there 3 times the first two times the staff were yelling and screaming at each other in the back and the food was terrible and greasy. We went back today and waited 45 minutes to get our food. The staff only acknowledge the drive thru they don't seem to care about their customers that are in their dining room. And they also acknowledge the door dash people prior to the people that are actually there in front of them waiting for food. I watched multiple walk out of this establishment tonight. Poor customer service and we will not be back to this KFC we will travel for a KFC before we come back here.
My last experience was pretty garbage. Not only I waited over 45 mins of my food but screw up my order three times so I had enough and vow never to come back there again.
I stopped by at 9 PM, but it was closed. Then I drove to the drive-thru, and the guy there was really rude—he didn’t want to assist me. I asked him about my order to make sure everything was correct, and he just sighed. That’s really ridiculous.

Sat in the drive thru for well over 10 minutes without anyone taking my order. No line. Nobody in front of me. Nothing. At 530pm. Straight ridiculous. There wasn’t a single car in line or inside. Place is trash.
I would give a zero if I could. We are tired of ordering 1 or 2 items and being asked to pull around to the front when there is no one behind us. Then, 20 minutes later, one of us has to go inside because they forgot about us. Its one thing if they were short staffed and slammed, but when we were there, the inside was empty and staff were twiddling their thumbs. Manager was extremely rude. Update: They are now under new management and service is very much improved.
Giving this a one star because zero stars isn’t an option. Was told to pull around to the front for three things, when it wasn’t busy at all. They forgot 2 things, so he ran back inside. Placed an order at the drive through we were asked to pull up by the door, there was another car waiting in front of us. And then a couple more cars behind us, a girl came out went to the last car trying to find who ordered chcken nuggets. Person in front of us ordered that! She then came back out with another order and went straight to the car behind us and gave them that order!
I hadn't been to KFC in a while. I actually avoided it for reasons that I will definitely go into if you were to contact me privately, but what I would share with you would not be something I would want to share publicly... But anyway, it was my first time using their mobile app to place an order. So I did all of my ordering on the app in the parking lot, placed the order, and drove through their drive-thru. When I got to the speaker the person on the other end told me "yeah you have to come in to pick those up" when I told them I had a mobile order for Brad. In the app there was no indication where I was supposed to go. In fact, every place is different. When I order on the app of McDonald's they come out to the parking lot and give me my food once i select that I'm there. When I go to Taco Bell I simply drive through the drive-thru and tell them mobile order for Brad and I get my food when I get to the window. This app did not indicate anywhere where I was supposed to get my food. That's number one. Number two: when I got home, shocking, I realized that they didn't put any of the barbecue sauce that I ordered in my bag. It was very simple. Barbecue sauce for my chicken tenders, and I ordered barbecue sauce again for my french fries. So by my count there should have been two and there were zero. Number three: I ordered four biscuits because I love dipping my biscuits in the mashed potatoes and gravy, but after I took my first and last bite of one of them it was so incredibly undercooked that I spit it out into the coleslaw that was warm because it had sat under the mashed potatoes. I then proceeded to take the rest of that biscuit and crumple it up in my hand and it literally turned back into dough. This has got to be the most disgusting KFC I have ever been to and I will never ever return. Bear in mind that if it was not inappropriate, I would totally list number four. And believe me when I tell you, everything that I've said about my order Dulls in comparison to what I could tell you about one of the employees who works there. But because of its inappropriate nature I won't be bringing it up here.
Food was awful. Got 8 pc bucket and they give me 6 legs and 1 wing and 1 thigh. The coating had come off all the pieces. This was 2nd time there. First time was bad experience also. The 2nd chance was just awful. I will not spend money there again.
I’ve been here a couple of times. Service has never been the issue. It is a quality issue. Ive received biscuits that were like hockey pucks. Dry. I usually get the tenders and it is a bit of a disappointment. Always extra small to the point that it could have been a nugget. 2/3 of the box was empty.
If I could give a zero I would!! I hate to give bad reviews but they are consistent with their bad service!! Today my husband and I went through the drive through ordered one spicy chicken sandwich meal and one regular. We received 2 spicy sandwiches with no pickles, the soda was warm, no ice in it and flat!!! Fries were soggy. Then we had to go back because they never gave us another item of ours. 3rd time in a row. Enough chances. This occured around noon on 6/22/23 Grand Central Ave horse heads NY.
