Very good! Delivery faster than expected. Hot & fresh. Driver was very nice as well! I do stars related to expectations of type of restaurant and food. So don't try to compare a 5 star for this to a 3 star Michelin restaurant...as the saying goes " it's like comparing apples & oranges" Just don't! This place delivered fresh, good, hot, tasty food in less than 30 min. The driver was sweet & polite. He even tried to give me back part of my tip! I rate & tip as I see fit. At least today, these folks deserved my rating! I hope they continue to deserve it! :)
I loved the egg rolls they came out very crisp(and we had gotten delivery). I'm not to fond of Chinese food cause it always seems sweet to me but I saw that they had left their menu in our apartment door and my bf(who loves Chinese food) wanted to try it. This is the first time I could honestly say that I enjoyed my dish. The king pao chicken was absolutely delicious it was spicy and flavorful. We will be ordering more. I highly recommend it.
Food was very fresh and flavorful and affordable. Will be eating here much more often! 5/5
This is the only place I LOVE getting food delivered from. The portions are great, and the food is delicious. I always go for their mapo tofu, boiled fish filet with spicy sauce, Indian curry shrimp fried rice, and cream cheese puffs. ♡
Delicious Food I highly recommend o ordered General tso chicken.
First of all I would like to say I've been coming here for years now and I'm glad it's still open to this day. The food and atmosphere is so good and the service is fantastic, I would recommend getting chicken with broccoli and the vegetable egg rolls if new customers would like to give this place a try for sure!
Had great service from ordering to eating. The woman taking the order was polite and made sure the order was correct. My family had sweet & sour chicken, sesame chicken, and chicken with garlic lunch specials. Each was affordable and ample amount of food. Will order again and highly recommended.
Service 10 out of 10 food delicious pricing fabulous parking phenomenal you can’t make this up delicious delicious delicious
I like the food here , i went to there many times, I love it.
I purchased a delivery order for the Jalepeno Triple Delight and the Shrimp and Steamed vegetables with garlic sauce. The food was fresh, hot, large portions, delivery was timely, and the food is delicious. I will definitely be going back to this place for sure. This was a great surprise getting exactly what the tast buds called for. I would definitely compare them to a Kim Son as the food was on that level of better.
Please come check this place out! The food, service and atmosphere itself is GREAT!!! I promise you will not be disappointed by the food quality and portion. Great place to bring the family out for lunch and dinner.
Recently had a big catering for my baby's 1st birthday it was great! They helped us out a lot, it was a lot of food for the price we pay, very convinced, and tasty. Everyone was asking where we got the food and all our guest were able to take some food home. Excellent service!! I recommend this place! The people are great.
Food is really delicious, good service and I loved the attention they give to us … recommend 100%

My mother used to eat here back in the day she passed away in 2018 I stopped in yesterday and was pleased. I like the fried rice. Also like the service. The Chicken Lomein was good.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The food is absolutely delicious, with generous portions that leave you satisfied. My favorite dish has to be the beef flat noodles—perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. The staff is super friendly. 10/10 recommend!
I just came to this restaurant and felt that the outside looked ordinary. After entering the restaurant, the front desk was very friendly. I ordered a piece of broccoli cow, which tasted very good, plus the special fragrance of white rice. I really like this restaurant. I have to recommend it

I want to this restaurant a lot of times, and food is so good, and good taste. And there is a nice people waiting for you to treat you good. I I recommend this place. 💯%. :)
I’m not from Houston but I’ve been/ lived in a few areas. Just moved down from spring, Tx to Missouri Tx and this has been the BEST Chinese food I’ve had so far. Reminds me of Chicago Chinese food so i HIGHLY recommend. Lovely service as well !!!:) <3
From the outside... not to appealing.. I wasn't sure about eating here.. We walked in.. the young lady was super nice. My food was soo good. I was really surprised.. Everything was fresh.. and so very delicious. I know we are going back.. I ate so much..

The staff was pleasant and the food was made quickly. Egg rolls were pretty greasy, but after I dabbed them with napkins, they were perfect. I got Shrimp and Garlic sauce and it was good. I wish the onions and peppers were cut a little smaller, but it wasn't too much of a deterrent. I'll be ordering from them again.
Usually get delivery, but today we decided to eat in. The food was hot and delicious with plenty on the plate, (including shrimp). The service was fast and attentive with plenty of smiles. A very good experience all around. My 5 yr. old grandson even enjoyed himself. So give them a try, I think you will be suprised.
The salt and pepper chicken is very good. So is the combo fried rice. I have had food from there about twice a month for over the last two years. I was disappointed a couple of times. Once the S&P shrimp dish was totally BURNT. I had to throw half of it away. I only pulled out the next morning for lunch when I realized it, so they didn't compensate. But the food is a hit 9/10 times.
I recently revisited 168 Szechuan Restaurant after learning they changed management, and I noticed several changes in the menu and food quality. Overall, there have been some great improvements, but also a couple of disappointments. Pros: The Beef Broccoli has seen a major improvement! It used to be overly salty, but now the flavor is balanced, and the sauce has a better consistency and thickness. The Combination Lo Mein has also improved significantly. The taste is richer, and the sauce consistency is spot on, making it a much more enjoyable dish. The service was great, and the food was prepared very quickly. The atmosphere is very quiet and calm, as the restaurant is mostly empty, but I have to say the place is cleaner than ever. You can tell the new management has made improvements. Cons: The Pan-Fried Dumplings have changed, and unfortunately, I’m not a fan of the new version. I liked the older style where they were steamed with crispy bottoms. The new ones seem baked or air-fried, which makes the dough dry and overly thick, though the filling still has good flavor. The dumpling sauce has also changed and is now very sweet, which I didn’t enjoy. The biggest disappointment is the removal of my favorite dish, Szechuan Chicken. It’s the dish that made this restaurant stand out for me—it’s even in the name! I would strongly urge the new owners to bring it back to the menu. The prices have gone up again, so the meals are a bit more expensive than before, which might not sit well with everyone. Overall: While I appreciate the positive changes in some dishes, I miss the old dumplings and the unique Szechuan Chicken that made this place special. The improved service, cleanliness, and faster food prep are definite highlights, but the price increase and menu changes may make it less appealing for some. I hope the new management considers customer feedback to refine the menu further.
I ordered the sesame chicken with white rice and let me just say it’s was very delicious. I really loved that the chicken wasn’t overboard with the sauce.

I was disappointed with my recent order. The General Tso’s chicken had a soft, soggy batter and consisted of small, dry pieces of chicken. While the sauce was hot, the battered chicken itself was cold and lacked any crispness, giving the impression that it had been prepared in advance and only mixed with sauce upon ordering. Additionally, my soup was missing once again. This has happened more than once, and I strongly suggest the restaurant implement a standard operating procedure or final order check to prevent this recurring issue. The wings were also underwhelming—salty, lacking flavor, and made with dry frozen-textured meat. The batter was excessively thick, further detracting from the overall quality.

The place is very clean portions were good but the food was so bland. The crab ragoon I ordered was just cream cheese and tasted freezer burned. And the shrimp was overcooked in the meal I ordered.
I always receive flyers from this restaurant on my door. I finally decided to try their menu. Not very satified. My orange chicken had more breading than chicken. The orange sauce was scorched with a burned taste. The hot wings was not hot and the sauce was unknown. I gave three stars because the delivery service and the fried cream puffs were good.
The food was ok. The hot and sour soup was tasty. I usually keep leftovers but it wasn't worth it. So food is mid but the service and atmosphere are why I will never go back. They advertise free delivery but they picked up 2x and immediately put me on mute. If you order online from the website there is a delivery charge. I understand places get busy but this was around 2pm on a weekday. I still wanted to give it a shot so I tried to call a third time about 30 minutes later and no answer at all. By this time I'm super hungry so I order online for pickup and drive there(still charged $1service fee). The place smells off. Like old oil maybe? And half of it looks condemned. Not under construction, that's understandable for the state it's in...nothing seems to be actually in progress it's just kinda rotting away on one side???
The food was not good to me.. no seasoning i miss the old business.. the food was hot and bland
Ordered take out. Chicken was so dry it was inedible. Literally chewed on one bite for several minutes and could not break it down enough to safely swallow- worse than jerky! The whole dish was this way- I’m guessing it was cooked a week ago or more and reheated multiple times. And it wasn’t just me, my 15 y/o and 11 y/o couldn’t eat it either. I returned to the restaurant with the plate to show them how dry it was and explained it was impossible to chew. I asked for a refund or a different dish. They were not apologetic at all and refused both, saying they could only give me the same thing I originally ordered and would tell the chef not to cook it so long. They said the plate looked half eaten so didn’t think they should have to oblige me.. hello, I shared the order with my daughter and didn’t think to put her chewed up spit out bites back in the container!!I I accepted their offer of a new order and hoped for the best, but of course it was just as inedible as the first. And probably had their spit on it. Horrible customer service and disgusting food and waste of money and time!!
I decided to try them for the first and last time! They are nearby and had never tried them before. So I thought, maybe I'm missing something, not really! I ordered online and when I showed up to pick up my order when it was suppose to be ready, they hadn't even started on my order. According to them they were having internet issues. I waited another 30 minutes for my food to be ready since I had already paid for it. They didn't apoligize and threw in free enrolls for the error which I don't like nor eat. I was not impressed with their food at all! Turns out I wasn't missing much at all. I will never try them again.
Disappointed that they used spoiled meat and noodles. Hurricane Beryl left everyone without power and once the power was restored we reached out to order. Instead of throwing out meat they tried to salvage it and serve it to customers.unacceptable.
Not going to lie, I'm a foodie and I try to support local restaurants and small businesses but this was the worse Chinese food I've had ever. It's one thing for the egg rolls to be frozen bought and fried up but can they at least taste good, I order the veggie egg rolls and the pork egg rolls. They both tasted horrible even after drenching with soy sauce and duck sauce. I would've let them slide because I know for fact those aren't made in house, however my main meal was the orange chicken....the chicken was so over done it was chewy, the sauce was too sweet and overall the dish was so bad I had a few bites then threw it out. Like how can you call yourself a Chinese restaurant and can't do orange chicken right??! What a shame, never ordering here again.
I recently ordered Lo Mein from this place, and it was a huge disappointment. The dish was horrid: dry, tasted old, and had barely any shrimp or chicken. There were a few onions, but no other veggies at all. It was so bad that I ended up throwing the whole meal away. The experience didn't get any better when I first walked in. The place smelled terrible, and the interior was dark and unwelcoming. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone.
So... this place used to be called 168 Beijing and I remember the food being good and it’s been a while since I had it. I was on this side of town so I stopped to get an old favorite, or so I thought. I ordered a simple meal of beef with broccoli, the lunch portion. It also came with a small wonton soup and an egg roll. Pretty standard Chinese food order. I ate the soup and egg roll first because I knew I wouldn’t finish everything and thought of saving some for later. The soup was meh. The egg roll was an egg roll, nothing special. Then we get to the entree. It seemed a bit off, but I was starving so I dug in. The brown sauce was very jelly like and thick. Some pieces of meat were tough with burnt edges and a few areas were cold but I thought mixing everything up would make a difference. Boy did I think wrong. After my third bite, I finally put my finger on it. I was not eating freshly cooked Chinese food but rather Chinese food that had been prepared in bulk and then reheated. I asked the hostess could fresh food be prepared to which she replied, “The manager is not here so there’s nothing I can do. But I will try to go talk to the chef.” After she disappeared into the back for what seems to be maybe 30 seconds she returned and said, “Yea there’s nothing I can do. Sorry.” I quickly gathered my things and left everything on the table. I’m actually writing this review in my car so I know I’m mad. I typically give reviews a couple of days to get my thoughts straight but, nah. They are going to get this heat. If I could give them 0 stars I would. If you’re looking for quick Chinese food, keep looking. **Also I should have known something was up because nobody else was dining in. Let me remind you all this is LUNCH TIME!

Just finished eating the blandest Chinese food EVER. No salt / pepper, garlic. NOTHING. The walnuts on the shrimp dish were cooked- made very hard. Shrimp was breaded, not correct. Very disappointing. Will not be ordering from them anymore. Third time the food was disappointing.
