One of the sweetest coffee shops I have ever been too! We are in town visiting and have planed to make it our coffee shop for our stay. I had the a Late with oat milk and vanilla, so yummy! My son ordered a mocha that was equally delicious. Five star service all around ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Plenty of seating! Free WiFi! A delicious bean and cheese burrito! Friendliest staff!
As soon as I walked in, I immediately regretted *not* taking my laptop or a book with me! The atmosphere was amazing; it gave me peace of mind that next time I want to spend a longer amount of time in a café, this will be the place! The atmosphere was calm enough that I did not feel disturbed by the customer traffic inside. I also enjoyed that the lighting inside was dimmer than other cafés—usually my eyes will hurt when there is heavy lighting, so I felt more comfortable here. Overall, the atmosphere was calming, friendly, comfortable, and 100% worth re-visiting. I also thought the order system was cute, where instead of giving your name to the cashier, you receive a little playing card as your order number, and wait to hear yours to know your food and drink were ready.
Great little coffee spot. Lots of seating inside as well as plugs. Good coffee, wonderful mission, and fantastic atmosphere. Would highly recommend for a meeting or for getting work / studying done.
My friends and I went to Bitty and Beau’s today for the first time. We really enjoyed the atmosphere, the foods, and the great service, it’s so fast!!! There were many parking spaces available on Monday morning. Thank you for having wonderful staff! They are very friendly and cheerful! We definitely will come back.
This was such a great experience! I didn’t know anything about this cafe when I chose it on google maps, but it was the best hidden gem. I had a great conversation with the baristo Blaise, and my tea and dark chocolate mocha came out quickly and were great. I highly recommend this cafe to anybody looking for delicious drinks and service with a smile!
We visited today and stayed for over 2 hours. The coffee was good enough I got a 2nd one. The 2nd was toasted marshmallow and he syrup just wasn’t that tasty, but the first peppermint bark was perfect. The food was good, service was good. I am not sure I understand why there would be negative reviews, however we truly enjoyed it. We will be back to support their mission.
We visited from out of town & love supporting this company. Blaze was our cashier & was such a sweetheart. He was very patient with my sister who gets a little shy when ordering. The baristas were all super sweet. Drinks were great & we really enjoyed the little doodles we got on our cups. We ordered the brown sugar chai, maple cold brew, & cookies & cream frappe. All were delicious & obviously made with care. Store was very clean as well. Would definitely continue to recommend this company & look forward to visiting again.
As I sit here at Bitty & Beau’s Coffee, soaking in the scenery and vibing to productivity music on Apple, I can’t help but pause and take in the beauty of it all. This place was founded by parents of two kids with Down syndrome and they hire those with said inclusions. Those with said inclusion and said non-disability per say are customer based And honestly, even calling it that feels weird but I wanted to express the outlook… because at the end of the day, we’re all flawed some flaws just show up differently than others. But watching the smiles on their faces hits me. It makes me realize how serious we take life sometimes, how often we forget to smile… to just be. Be with the flow, be present, be in the now. If I had to put it into words, what I feel in this moment is simple: Happy. Peaceful. Loving. Thankful. And my hope? That your peace radiates out into the world today too.
I really love the mission behind this coffee shop, and it is definitely a place I want to support. The service is consistently wonderful, and this morning Neals helped me--he was amazing. He greeted me with a warm smile and was so kind and thoughtful throughout my visit. Experiences like this remind me why I enjoy coming here and I am grateful to have a spot that not only serves great coffee but also creates such a welcoming environment.
I went to Bitty and Beaus today for the first time and really loved it! The sweet folks at the counter were so polite, took my order and had my cappuccino ready within a minute! The vibe is really cool in there, and I love what the company stands for. It is so important that folks with disabilities are given a real chance at employment, and this cafe practices what it preaches. What a beautiful display of real equity and inclusion!
The whole idea for Bitty & Beau's coffee is brilliant. I love the business model and what they support as well as the experience at the business. Everyone is very friendly there and if you aren't happy before you go, you should be happy when you leave. We went and were able to talk with the staff and they truly make you feel welcome and like they appreciate you. If I lived closer, I'd be there way more often. It's even a good location to study with plenty of seating options. Very open, not crowded areas as well.
This is the most wholesome place I’ve ever been to. We’re here for my grandma’s cancer at MD Anderson and we stumbled upon Bitty & Bean’s and I could cry at how amazing this place was. It took me a minute to understand the movement being disguised as this coffee shop but I think it’s super important to raise awareness and break the stigma around disabilities like Down Syndrome. Some of my favorite quotes from this shop are “changing the way people see other people” and “radically inclusive”. This needs to be talked about more and I am here for it!! I bought a some playing cards, a hat, and a t-shirt. My favorite part was putting the pin in where my Holme is. Don’t stop being yourself and don’t let your disability define you. You are loved. You are worthy. ❤️
Awesome coffee shop with a wholesome purpose Bitty & Beau’s was opened to value and support people with intellectual and development disabilities. I tried their Java Chip Frappe. It was solid but I will look to try something less sweet next time. Bitty & Beau’s coffee is a great place to study / work! There’s plenty of seating with comfy couches in the back, regular dining chairs and tables, and bar height table with high chairs at the front by the windows. Most of the charge ports are along the walls and usually one open. Staff is great and there’s free internet. There’s limited free parking in a front lot and varied street parking and garage parking.
Bitty & Beau’s Coffee is more than just a place to grab a cup of coffee; it's a heartwarming experience that leaves you with a smile. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with infectious positivity and warmth. The staff, who have diverse abilities, radiate joy and enthusiasm, making every visit memorable. The coffee itself is exceptional, crafted with care and attention to detail. Whether you're in the mood for a classic latte or something more adventurous like their signature flavored drinks, you're sure to find something delicious. And knowing that your purchase supports meaningful employment opportunities for people with disabilities makes every sip taste even sweeter. The atmosphere at Bitty & Beau’s is one of inclusivity and acceptance. It's a place where everyone feels welcome and valued, regardless of their background or abilities. The community vibe is palpable, with customers and staff alike forming genuine connections over a shared love of great coffee and even greater company. Overall, Bitty & Beau’s Coffee is more than just a coffee shop; it's a beacon of positivity and change in the community. With outstanding coffee, exceptional service, and a mission to create a more inclusive world, it's a place worth supporting and celebrating.
Visiting Bitty & Beau’s Coffee is a truly uplifting experience. The staff, who are the heart and soul of this establishment, welcome each customer with genuine warmth and joy. The quality of the coffee is excellent, but it's the human connection and the life-changing mission that make each visit memorable. It's a place where diversity is celebrated, and the value of every individual is recognized. As Amy Wright, the co-founder, rightly says, this venture has become their life's work and legacy. Bitty & Beau’s Coffee is more than a business; it's a human rights movement that champions inclusion and purpose for people with disabilities. It inspires customers to include people with disabilities in every aspect of life, be it at school, work, or social circles.
This is such a wonderful little coffee shop! The staff is absolutely wonderful and so full of joy. There is an abundance of merchandise to look at while you wait to place your order. The atmosphere is full of empowerment and radical acceptance, and it's nearly impossible not to smile at the intention that fills every inch of the store. The iced chai is phenomenal and the cereal treat is the perfect amount of sweetness. I will absolutely be back!
"More than a cup of coffee" is painted on the side of Bitty & Beau's, and that quote absolutely rings true. If you go online to their website, you will see their story: "Bitty & Beau's Coffee is a human rights movement disguised as a coffee shop, where people with intellectual & developmental disabilities are valued in the workplace. It's a place where diversity isn't just appreciated, it's celebrated." Besides the amazing story, the coffee is actually VERY good, and there's plenty on the menu to choose from. The cafe seating is plentiful. I saw families, students studying, individuals working, and even an interview going on. It's a comfortable and welcoming vibe, but it's also clean and hip. Some neat things they offer: There are flavor add-ins like hazelnut, toasted marshmallow, etc you can add to your order to enhance your flavor experience. There is a really neat pushpin map of the world towards the back of the shop, and if they have pins available you can place one in the location of your home town. There are already hundreds if not thousands of pins in the map. Lastly, when you order you are given a Bitty & Beaus branded playing card, and the baristas will call out your card number when your order is ready. Some tips: The main tip I would add is please be patient. The workers are professional and kind individuals, and they deserve kindness, patience, and respect. I have been here many times, and I've always had an incredible experience. If you get a chance, please support this coffee shop. I would love to see more of them pop up. Cheers!!
Listen I read the reviews after I ordered lol! So I can say I appreciate what this coffee shop stand for and their mission. But for coffee drinkers. This is not the place for you orrr maybe they made my drink wrong. I’m not sure. But my latte tasted more of milk and sweetener than coffee. The caramel latter is good but it’s SUGGARYYYY. So for the folks who like a bold coffee you may want to ask for extra shots of expresso. OVERALL: great experience, nice atmosphere. And coffee that doesn’t taste like coffee 😅 so folks that don’t like the taste of coffee it’s a good thing
Stopped in to do some work and was greeted by a volunteer table set up inside the coffee shop for an organization called Childhelp. I was asked to donate to their nonprofit to help purchase a backpack for kids in need. I initially offered to donate $10 and was told the backpack donation amount was $20. I agreed and proceeded with the donation, but the total came out to $22.00 after tax. Nonprofit donations should not be taxed. When I questioned why tax was being applied to a nonprofit donation, the representative was unable to provide an explanation and appeared unsure of the charge. After this experience, I looked up the organization online and found multiple reports from individuals stating they were later charged recurring monthly amounts on their cards that they did not authorize. This raised even more concern about the legitimacy and transparency of the donation practices. I brought this to the attention of the coffee shop owner and explained that the setup felt misleading and uncomfortable as a customer. The owner showed no concern, offered no explanation, and did not apologize. The lack of accountability made it very clear that customer trust is not a priority here. It was very simple to connect the dots. Allowing questionable donation practices inside a business while customers are simply trying to enjoy a coffee or get work done feels inappropriate and unprofessional. Based on this experience, I will not be returning to this coffee shop. I would strongly encourage others to be cautious and thoroughly research before donating at this location or supporting this business in general.
I really tried to give this place a chance. It has stellar reviews and nice atmosphere. However the service was extremely poor. I ordered my drink at 5:25 and I waited for 25 minutes and had to ask for a refund. Baristas were very very slow mowing. Every time I glanced over to the baristas they were either just standing there doing nothing, complaining to each other or moving at a snails pace. I understand they had multiple tickets ahead of me but the pace they were moving was insanely slow. They made one drink every 5 minutes. As someone who works at a high volume coffee shop. A drink should take at most a minute to make. They need to hire more qualified baristas that actually have a passion for making coffee.
Terrible Matcha latte was so sweet that I had to throw it. I asked for Hazelnut flavor no sugar and corrected to barista directly to only add one pump and no sugar. Mango smoothie was not really a smoothie it was mango pulp blended with water. Look at picture, this happened after merely an hr. My kid was asleep in the car so he did not drink ot right away and this happened. Chai Latte again for a 12oz it was sweet....very sweet. I got a blueberry muffin was average at most. And above all very very pricey.
